could u do a lady nagant headcannon with a so who hĂ s a regeneration quirk but is not a hero and works as a Neuro surgeon just like she wanted to be when she and kaina were in school
REGENERATIVE NEURO SURGEON
unfortunately kaina’s circumstances make it very hard to live a normal life. throw a very demanding job into the mix and it’ll complicate things further. that’s not to mean there aren’t any good moments, they’re just harder to come by.
Tumblr media
Kaina’s very supportive of any goals you set for yourself. She’s been encouraging you to follow your dreams since your school years.
Circumstances unfortunately make it hard to keep in touch past high school though. You’re busy with med school, and she’s working with the hero public safety commission.
You’re both unbelievably swamped with work and whatever time you do find doesn’t always match up with hers. You still manage to meet at times but it’s certainly a challenge.
You’re practically joined at the hip when you do manage to meet. You have to cherish your time together, and you very much do.
Getting swarmed by fans was something you had to get used to. It’s a little annoying at first but you quickly learn to roll with it. You love to see how much love Lady Nagant gets!
Your quirk is a blessing in your field of work and you’re constantly being called in to help. Likewise, Kaina’s an asset to her field and so she also gets called in to work at all hours.
While this is obviously putting a strain on your relationship, you find you can be very honest with one-another. She supports you through the stress and reassures you when you doubt yourself, which helps you push through.
On the other hand, you’re also there when she starts to question her role at the hero public safety commission. And although you never could’ve predicted the outcome, you never once could blame Kaina for her actions.
That’s why you stuck by her side, even as she begs you to stay away—to not get implicated, risking everything you’ve built.
Then as the dust settles, you’re left on your own. Alone in the world. You’ve only got very limited contact with Kaina since she’s been locked away and all you can do is mourn...
Until she breaks free that is ;)

GET WELL SOON // ERASERHEAD X READER
Tumblr media
this is just a self indulgent drabble bc my dumbass caught the stupid ‘rona and I need a lil pick me up.
Tumblr media
When he left for work that morning, Aizawa knew you were a little more tired than usual. You’d told him you would call in sick at work and take the day off to rest but he hadn’t expected you to still be asleep when he came home.
The lights were off which was odd as the sun had set by now and it was nearly pitch black inside the house. There were no dishes stacked in the sink—unless you had washed them, though he doubted you would have had the energy to do so—and the living room looked exactly the same as it had this morning. What really had him worried though was the cat crouched at your bedroom door, making a ruckus. He had one paw through the crack under the door, and his tail was lashing furiously behind him. Aizawa opened the door and the cat happily trotted in, jumping on the bed to lay right on top of you.
He gently shook you awake and you felt the bed dip as he sat beside you. “Did you sleep all day?”
You groaned, turning your head to look at him with bleary eyes. “Hm? What time is it?”
Your voice was hoarse and you were shivering. He brushed his hand against your cheek and realised you were also burning up. “It’s half past eight.”
You nearly jumped out of bed and he had to grab your shoulders to push you back in. You’d usually make dinner for Aizawa to eat before setting out for night watch. Dinner was practically the only substantial meal he ate and you couldn’t let him leave without it. “I’m sorry, I completely forgot to make dinner!” you cried apologetically.
“Don’t sweat it,” he assured you. “I’ll stay home and ask Mic to cover for me or something.”
That just made you feel worse. You didn’t need to be looked after but he refused to back down even after you told him so. “Stay here, I’ll go make you something to eat.”
So you sulked in bed, wrapped up in blankets to keep yourself warm while you waited. When he came back, it was with a steaming bowl of soup. He sat beside you and handed it to you, settling himself in bed comfortably while you ate.
“You shouldn’t hang around me for a while, you’ll get sick,” you warned him. Your brows furrowed as he shrugged meekly.
“I could use a day off or two.”
Only Aizawa could equate being sick with taking time off for a vacation.

Who Hurt You?
Tomura Shigaraki x Reader
Genre: Fluff, Platonic/Romantic
Summary: You return to the League of Villains all banged up. It’s late, very late, and everyone is asleep. Perfect for you to slip in and patch yourself up, or so you thought.
CW/TWs: mentions/descriptions of wounds/blood/injuries, mentions/descriptions of a fight,
(As usual if you spot any CW/TWs I missed, please tell me so I can add them!)
~~~~~~
You winced at the ache in your form, glancing up at your attacker from behind your hair. You were just trying to get back to base, dammit!
But this hulk of a figure just had to start a fight with you, clearly pissed off about something and needing to blow off some stream. You were the resident thief and speedster of the league, your Cheetah quirk making you more agile than most and exceptionally fast for short bursts of time.
But this man’s quirk caged you in, closing off your escape routes so he could push you around.
“Hey, hey! You out already?” The man’s guard dropped slightly, his feet carrying him forward a bit as disappointment and irritation settled into the lines of his face. “That ain’t no fun, brat. Get the hell back up!”
You curled your lip at him, finding the strength in your body to activate your quirk. In one swift motion you were up in his face, your leg making contact with his temple, successfully knocking him out.
Not taking any other chances you bolted out of the alleyway, taking various back routes before the hideout came into view. You panted from the exertion needed for your quirk, but now that you were at base, you had time to rest up and tend to the various injuries that thug caused.
You were rather thankful, this period of time was practically devoid of plans for the League, no encroaching plots to get back at the pro heroes, no planning needed to be done. Just good ol’ downtime to rest, train, or catch up on hobbies.
You slipped into the building as quietly as possible, getting to the nearest bathroom. You heard nothing but your own footsteps, the soft rustle of your clothes as you moved, and the light crinkle of the bag you had from your late night trip to the store for snacks. Everyone was asleep, so you didn’t have to worry about being found in this state.
You set your bag off to the side, quick to dig out a first aid kit and a few washcloths. You cringed at the gross, sticky feeling of your bloodied jacket trying to cling to your skin, frowning as you realized it and your shirt were practically unsalvageable. Sighing, you set the jacket aside in the tub, knowing it could be easily cleaned out.
The first hit of water on the cuts on your arms stung, causing a sharp hiss to leave your teeth. You were careful as you dragged the cloth against your skin, wiping away the blood that still bled from the injuries. You would probably have to disinfect them too, taking note of the small bits of dirt on your arms.
“Who hurt you?”
You jumped and dropped the washcloth into the sink, your head spinning around to spot Tomura scowling — glaring — at the cuts on your arms, one hand irritably scratching at his neck.
Fuck. You should’ve known Tomura often spends off days staying up late playing games.
“Just ah
” you stumbled over your words, tongue swiping over your lips as you tried to calm yourself from the mild scare he gave you, “Jus’ some asshole venting his frustrations out on me. Didn’t wanna fight him or have to use my quirk but he cornered me
”
Tomura hummed, the sound almost like a growl, as his lip curled just a bit more. The action was accompanied by a harsher scratch to his neck before he dug into his pocket for the special pair of gloves he wore to cancel out his quirk.
Not giving you a chance to protest, Tomura took your arms in his hands, surveying the damage done.
“This one’s gonna hurt for a while.” He murmured, gently tapping near a gash on the back of your forearm, moving to continue cleaning the cuts. “Is it just your arms?”
You took a moment to survey the rest of yourself, trying to ignore your nerves screaming in pain. It was odd, your arms feeling both numb and on fire.
“Just a small one on my side.” You replied, your free hand lifting your tattered shirt a bit to look over the small wound.
You felt Tomura’s gaze shift to it. “Should heal fine.”
It fell into a comfortable silence then, Tomura’s hands working quickly to clean and bandage the cuts on your arms. White wraps soon covered your skin, slowly being stained by the blood that continued to bleed.
With a final bandage being placed over the cut on your side, Tomura leaned back, assessing you for anything else you missed.
You weren’t expecting his hand to carefully clasp your jaw, tilting your head to the side as his narrowed eyes zeroed in on your face. You did your best to sit still as Tomura brushed your hair aside, grumbling under his breath at the scrape on your skin.
“Least it isn’t a damn cut.” He mumbled, cleaning the roughed up skin with a clean rag, before pulling back with a soft sigh.
“That seems to be it. Stay here, I’ll get you a new shirt.”
In just a minute, Tomura was back, handing you the new shirt and giving you privacy to change before poking his head back into the bathroom.
“Don’t worry about your clothes there,” he spoke up, noticing you beginning to fret over the bloodied shirt and jacket still in the tub. “I’ll replace them. Now c’mon, it’s late and between you and this final boss I’ve had enough stress for one night.”
You smiled softly, grabbing your store bag of snacks and letting Tomura lead you away from the bathroom. You spent about half an hour sharing your food as you sprawled across Tomura’s lap as he played a calmer game to help you both wind down.
You weren’t sure when you began falling asleep, but in your half-asleep haze, you felt your half empty bag of snacks being set aside, and Tomura gently shifting you up onto his chest into a more comfortable position.
“Next time you want late-night snacks, bring me along. No one with hurt you then.”
“Thank you Tomura
” you mumbled, your form relaxed as he held you to him, his thumb drawing circles into your back until you both fell asleep.
POLE DANCING & LAP DANCE <3
featuring: midnight x reader
here’s kind of a sequel to the dancing headcanons bc I said so. this post contains content sexual in nature, ageless & minor blogs don’t interact: you will be blocked.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like to think Nemuri has a whole ass stage in her living room specifically for the pole.
She leads you to a chair in the center of the living room, her fingers brushing against your arm in a fleeting, teasing way.
She’s wearing very little and the playful grin on her face suggests she takes great pleasure in way you’re looking at her.
You instantly know the song she chooses; it’s beyond suggestive and you’d actually shared it with her because it made you think of her.
She’s giving you sultry looks as she expertly sways her hips to the music, hooking a leg around the pole and spinning around.
She’s super intense but like, in a good way. She’s got you on the edge of your seat the entire time and you bet your ass she knows it.
Honestly I wouldn't put it past her to flash you at some point or another (even though she’s hardly wearing anything lmao.)
Your pole-dancing show eventually just turns into an erotic lap dance.
There isn’t much in terms of clothing for her to take off, but she’ll find a way to strip what she’s wearing and she’ll find a way to make it last entirely too long—in your opinion.
Once all that’s out of the way, she climbs into your lap and all but grinds on you, pushing her chest into your face and leaning in so close you can feel her breath on your neck.
It doesn’t stop here though, things are going to escalate from here iykwim.
“MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE?”
ya’ll like dancing headcanons? bc I revamped them, this time featuring: eraserhead, all might, midnight, present mic, hawks and hound dog. here you go <3
Tumblr media
ERASERHEAD
Aizawa doesn’t mind dancing with you on the rare occasion that he isn’t dead tired. He’s not one for energetic and flashy moves though, at most he’ll twirl you around and dip you but he prefers a slow dance in general. That way he can wrap his arms around your waist, rest his head over yours or on your shoulder and relax. You’re free to talk about your day or anything else but he’s practically half asleep at this point. He’ll just hum along as you talk so you know that he is listening.
Tumblr media
ALL MIGHT
Toshinori isn’t extravagant either when it comes to dancing. He’d always been so busy with being the number one hero that he never had a chance to slow down and indulge in what life has to offer. Things are a different now though. Now that he’s retired, his life has significantly slowed down. He has more time for you and he’s finally getting to enjoy what life has to offer. Holding you close to his chest and dancing to your song has to be one of the greatest feelings yet. Also likes being able to talk to you while you’re dancing.
Tumblr media
MIDNIGHT
Very sexual in nature. Lots of grinding, twerking, lap dances, etc... Nemuri 100% has a dance pole in her house and you’d best believe she knows how to use it. If we’re talking typical dance styles though, she likes something sensual like tango or salsa. It’s safe to say she’s taken dance classes of all kinds, she might surprise you.
Tumblr media
PRESENT MIC
Everything with Hizashi is exciting and dancing is no exception. He’s energetic and spontaneous so you never know what you’re gonna get. His style of dancing really reflects his personality though. I like to think he took the same dancing classes as Nemuri so he’s just as well versed in dance styles. The jitterbug has to be his favourite and it’s not hard to see why when you see how energetic it is. You can expect a lot of dipping and twirling. I also stand by what I said about constantly stepping on one-another’s feet, it’s just part of the fun!
Tumblr media
HAWKS
Much like Hizashi, Keigo’s energy and personality are reflected in his moves. He’s a natural when it comes to dancing and for some reason really likes scaring you by dipping you without warning. The way you clutch onto him for dear life makes him laugh. Teasingly asks you if you really thought he would drop you. If you wanna get him back for it, sweep his legs from under him and dip him, he’ll stare at you all owl-eyed. Additionally, he likes a slow dance at times. There’s nothing better in his mind than holding you in his arms and shielding you with his wings as you sway to a love song.
Tumblr media
HOUND DOG
Very awkward but looks like a lost puppy which is kinda cute. Ryo has no spatial awareness when it comes to dancing so there’s a high risk your feet are going to get stepped on. To avoid this, stand on his feet and let him do the footwork. He won’t say so but it’s obvious he’s enjoying himself.
BURNOUT
it happens to the best of us; work too hard and you’ll deplete your energy. all might knows a lot about burnouts so if you’re looking for someone to keep you company or just listen, then he’s the guy you’re looking for!
Tumblr media
All Might knows something’s up the minute you walk through the door, you can’t fool him.
Your eyes are dull and you’re being a lot more snappy than usual. You almost even forgot to greet him on your way to your bedroom.
You flop down on the bed, face buried in the mattress. You can barely breathe but it’s not like you care much about that right now.
He joins you and sits at the edge of the bed, gently rubbing your back with one hand. He asks you if something happened at work and something just clicks when you shrug limply.
Immediately begins to coddle you. He makes your favourite meal, finishes any tasks around the house you’ve been neglecting and would even draw you a hot bath if you wanted.
He’ll genuinely just listen if you need to rant. You can always tell he’s paying attention too, he has a serious expression as he nods along.
He encourages you to take a day or two off to recharge (what a hypocrite.)
If you refuse though, he’ll just offer to relax at home with a movie and take-out.
He worries for your health though and it does make him nervous. He wishes he could carry that burden for you.
Just a super selfless guy all around. He puts your health and safety far above his own. If it weren’t for his coworkers helping out at work, he’d probably just drop dead to be honest.
I’m also 100% sure he would try to make you laugh by telling you about the stupid shit his students have been up to. Bakugo’s trying to fight Midoriya again? You’re in luck my friend, you’re gonna hear all about it!
“JEALOUSY DOESN’T LOOK GOOD ON YOU, DARLING”
how they’d react to jealousy, featuring: dabi, shigaraki, toga, twice, mr. compress, lady nagant & overhaul. read utc!
content warnings: unhealthy & co-dependant relationships
Tumblr media
DABI
Tumblr media
when he’s jealous:
Dabi doesn’t get jealous... or at least that’s what he wants people to think. You can’t really blame him, he has a complicated relationship with his emotions. Aside from a couple of them, he views them as weaknesses and prefers to mask them. So instead, he compensates for his jealousy by being possessive. He comes up behind you while you’re evaluating a possible recruit, who’s being too friendly for his liking, and casually drapes an arm over your shoulders. No need for threats, his appearance and reputation alone are intimidating enough as they are! Throw in the (minimum) PDA and it becomes clear there’s something between you. You’re not entirely blind to how he really feels though, you can tell exactly what’s going behind those eyes by the slight pull at the corners of his lips and his sudden need for affection.
when you’re jealous:
Hot and cold. He either finds it irritating (doubly so if you’re the particularly clingy type) or he finds it amusing and cute. Absolutely the kind of guy to flirt with other people to make you jealous. Don’t take it the wrong way, he’s not interested in them, he just wants to see you get all mad and flustered. The only time he gets super irritated is when he’s already in a foul mood. In this case he just leaves you alone until you calm down. Don’t try to follow him if he does. His emotions tend to get the best of him and he’ll lash out at you if you do. Try not to take it too personally if this happens, he always comes back around at the end of the day.
SHIGARAKI
Tumblr media
when he’s jealous:
Shigaraki is the nasty, childish kind of jealous guy. There’s no saying what might happen to that nice barista who makes your coffee every morning. He would love nothing more than turn them to dust but he’s a busy man! So his frustrations often end up getting dumped on you unfortunately. He will pout and give you the silent treatment and it is beyond frustrating when you’re just trying to ask him what he wants to eat for lunch. Damn brat.
when you’re jealous:
If you thought Shigaraki would be compassionate and understanding when you get jealous, boy you thought wrong. He lives to see that jealous glint in your eyes when he’s giving attention to the league instead of you. He will absolutely play with your emotions and mock you by using the same lines you’ve used on him when the roles were reversed, “why are you so jealous? You’re the only one for me, you know that!” Okay, well you have to admit that’s not very reassuring at all...
TOGA
Tumblr media
when she’s jealous:
Toga has a very strong fear of abandonment. She gets jealous often and gets clingy when she does, she’ll latch onto you like a remora does a shark. It’s how she seeks reassurance. Seeing you talk to someone else is enough to make her jealous and subsequently, afraid of losing you. Small displays of affections in your day to day lives are generally enough to keep her grounded. Don’t forget to love and cherish your devoted girlfriend!
when you’re jealous:
Surprisingly compassionate. While she sees your jealousy as the highest sign of your devotion for her, she knows how suffocating jealousy can be. She gets all up in your space and smothers you with love, making it crystal clear that you’re her priority. Not at all scared to talk back to Shigaraki when he inevitably gets mad at her for not taking whatever villain business they’re up to seriously.
TWICE
Tumblr media
when he’s jealous:
This energetic goofball’s really no different when he’s jealous; he’s just as childish as he always is, sulking and pouting—even making more than a few desperate attempts to get your attention for himself. Flips more between his polar opposites, going from begging for your attention to acting indifferent and disinterested. If you don’t stop him he will start endlessly arguing with himself. He loves when you take his head in your hands and kiss his forehead. Immediately feels calmer.
when you’re jealous:
He doesn’t mean to be so oblivious, I promise, but there’s just always a lot happening in his head. It’s happened more than once now that Toga has had to point out your jealousy to him. He feels so bad when this happens, expect tears when he comes apologising. In his defence, he makes up for his ignorance with his compassion. Very similar to Toga in that regard; all the attention he’s been neglecting to give you, you shall receive. All of it. And he won’t leave your side until you feel better!
MR. COMPRESS
Tumblr media
when he’s jealous:
I have only one word for you: gentleman. Don’t go thinking jealousy is going to give him an excuse to get rude and/or violent. He comes right up to you and introduces himself to the guy you’re with, hat tip, handshake and arrogant teasing included. If it weren’t for the slight stiffness in his posture and the subtle restrained inflection in his voice, you wouldn’t even be able to tell he was jealous.
when you’re jealous:
He finds it cute, so cute! Teases you a lot about it. He probably won’t try to make you feel jealous by flirting with other people but he will purposefully distance himself a bit in favour of his hobbies just to see if you get jealous. If you do, he proceeds to tease you about it.
LADY NAGANT
Tumblr media
when she’s jealous:
Logical but reserved. You’d probably never know it if Nagant were jealous. She buries the majority of her emotions and there aren’t any tell-tale signs to go by either. That being said, she hardly really gets jealous to begin with. She values both of your time and space so it doesn’t bother her if you’re not spending a whole lot of time with her.
when you’re jealous:
Struggles to understand why you’re jealous. She understand on a surface level but like... why? Not to mention you’re the only person who knows her as much as you do (no I mean seriously, you know her like the back of your hand.) Even though she may not understand why exactly you feel jealous, she puts in the effort to give you what you need. Spending more time together? She’ll gladly stay the night with you if it’s what you want.
OVERHAUL
Tumblr media
when he’s jealous:
Overhaul’s a logical man. He has enough faith and trust in you that he doesn’t entertain the negative thoughts swarming his mind. That’s not to say he doesn’t get jealous though, he does, he’s just able to look at it from a logical perspective. There are still some telltale signs though. He gets curt and grouchy with just about everyone and only seems to calm down once you’re back at his side.
when you’re jealous:
Who are you jealous of exactly?? He barely gives the light of day to anyone unless it’s a matter of business and—oh. Somehow it never occurred to him that he’d been neglecting you these past few days and that your jealously might very well have been the result. Whatever the case, he clears his schedule for the evening and makes reservations to that new restaurant you’ve been dying to try.
Chisaki had never been one to enjoy long drives; he found them incredibly dull and knew he could have been getting his work done if he were home instead. He’d planned this trip for a very specific reason though and it had everything to do with you, so you’d never catch him saying so out loud.
He had suggested vacationing in the next town over from the one you’d grown up in, a popular location among couples who sought a romantic getaway. He’d rented one of the lavish cabins on the outskirts of town and made a mental note of all the activities in the area he knew you would enjoy. It was a well thought out, meticulous plan, one that he’d been working on for the last month. He would have preferred something more... fancy, but the location gave him a solid excuse to drop by your parent’s place for dinner along the way.
What was he planning? Well over the past month, he’d been thinking about marriage and wondering whether it would be a worthwhile investment for your relationship. It wasn’t exactly a hard decision to make seeing as you were so important to him. He loved you so much it worried him at times, he feared for your safety, having even gone as far as to debate leaving you for your own sake. He could never bring himself to do it though, the thought alone would leave a dull ache in his chest. Maybe it was selfish of him but he needed you in his life. Besides, you had once told him he was the only one for you and the feeling was mutual. Who else would readily accept him as he was—flaws and all—even after finding out he was the leader of the Shie Hassaikai? Even as he weighed the pros and the cons, his mind was made up. He immediately got to work on a proposal plan and the first step?
Getting your father’s blessing.
“I think that’s the last one,” you wheezed, shoving the last bag into the trunk.
You followed Chisaki to the car’s right side, where he opened the backseat door for you. You slid into the seat, the door closing behind you as he joined Kurono to the opposite side. The latter had clearly been convinced to play chauffeur and he wasn’t very pleased about it. He opened and closed the door after his boss, then got into the driver’s seat with a quiet huff. In the hopes of lightening up his mood, you gave him a grateful smile, “thanks for driving us.”
It didn’t seem to help his mood much though. The only response you got was a “no problem” and a shrug as he met your eye in the rear view mirror.
There was an unpleasant air after that. Aside from Kurono’s obvious reluctance to be there, the radio was turned off, thus leaving you in near complete silence. Chisaki was quiet too, most likely deep in thought as he watched the city pass him by. You dared not bother him, instead turning to look out the window as you immersed yourself in your own thoughts. You allowed your mind to wander back to family memories, such as past get-togethers or game nights, anything that brought you a sense of nostalgia. Your favourite memory of all though, carried with it the smell of juniper. It took place during your first year of college when you’d been struggling to find your groove. It was there that you met Chisaki. He helped you settle in and you slowly developed a friendship as you got to know him, which eventually blossomed into something more. You would never forget the day he formally asked you to be his partner, when he gifted you a bouquet of juniper berries one day and asked you out for dinner. You don’t know why (or where) he got juniper berries, it was an unusual bouquet to say the least but one that became meaningful to you and your relationship anyways. You smiled at the thought, chuckling quietly to yourself as you remembered how puzzled you had been at first.
“Why are you laughing?” Chisaki asked, suddenly turning to face you. His brows knitted together as you gave him a dismissive smile.
“Nothing important, I’m just reminiscing.”
Your answer must’ve been satisfactory, or maybe his thoughts were just of great importance today because he simply hummed and went right back to gazing out the window.
“(Y/n)!” You hadn’t even gotten a chance to knock upon your arrival, nearly jumping out of your skin when the door swung wide open and your mother greeted you with an enthusiastic hug. “You never visit or call anymore! I thought you had died,” she chastised as she pulled away, a firm grip on your shoulders. When she noticed the men behind you however, her whole tune changed. She bowed in greeting, addressing them as though she hadn’t just embarrassed you a moment earlier, “come in, dinner’s almost ready.”
You rolled your eyes but followed her in, Chisaki and Kurono at your heels, and gave your father a hug when he came over to greet you. Your mom squeezed past, though she stopped just short of the kitchen and turned around.
“Come help me with dinner would you, (Y/n)?”
You hesitated, taking a glance at Chisaki, Kurono and your father. You’d much rather stay with them than listen to your mother’s lectures and it felt wrong to abandon them when they weren’t very well acquainted with one-another. Before you had a chance to decline however, Chisaki gave you a solid, reassuring nod. You gave in, “okay.”
She didn’t know it yet, but your mother had given Chisaki the privacy he needed to speak with your father. He followed the older man as he led them to the living room, where they were invited to sit. While Kurono quietly took a seat on the far end of the couch, your father sat in his recliner, punching up the foot rest. Chisaki ignored the offer, instead watching your father with a calculating gaze as he spoke, “I was actually hoping we could speak.”
There was an audible groan from the recliner as the man turned, eyebrows raised quizzically. He ventured a look at Kurono but the latter didn’t pay either of them any mind, seemingly enthralled by the baseball game on tv. “What about?”
Chisaki did not beat around the bush. “I’m going to ask (Y/n) to marry me,” He said in a matter-of-fact way. He didn’t seem concerned at all by the possibility that he might get shot down.
To say your father was at a loss for words would be an understatement. Sure, he had a suspicion that this could be about an engagement, he just hadn’t expected such a direct approach. Not to mention that this man was far from the kind he would have wanted you to bring home. He was dodgy and secretive and your family had no idea what kind of job he had or what he was really like.
“Are you, uh... asking for my blessing?”
“No, I’m letting you know as a courtesy.”
No one spoke for a good minute, your father left speechless yet again. Chisaki still waited for an answer, patient as the old man tried to string together the words to express his disapproval.
“I think you’re getting ahead of yourself,” he said finally, “we don’t know anything about you, surely you realise how this looks?”
All pretenses were now dropped as tensions began to rise. Kurono had long since turned his attention to them, quietly observing from his seat, should he intervene. But there would be no need. Chisaki decided to end the conversation before it could escalate into an argument.
“It’ll be their decision at the end of the day,” he rightly pointed out. “I would appreciate it if you could keep this between us...” he then added, sensing this wasn’t the end. “At least for now.”
Your father really wanted to push on the matter but he found himself reluctantly agreeing. Not for his son-in-law to be’s sake but yours. At the end of the day you were an adult. Questionable taste or not, he had no say in who you chose to marry.
Thankfully the conversation had come to an end at the perfect time. You poked your head into the living room and announced that dinner was ready.
Tumblr media
The cool evening air was a welcome change after the warmth inside the house. You walked out with Kurono and Chisaki, waving a final goodbye to your parents.
“I shouldn’t have eaten so much,” you moaned as you made your way to the car. Chisaki wrapped a loose arm around your waist to guide you, a faint smile on his face as he opened the door for you and gently pushed you into your seat.
As he usually did, Kurono opened the other door for him, allowing him to smoothly slide in his seat. You let your head fall against the headrest as he buckled his seatbelt. A thought popped into your head as you watched him. Was it just me or was dinner kinda... tense? It was a question that had been lingering in the back of your mind for a while now, and you weren’t sure whether to bring it up or not. Then, it clicked—the tension had obviously started after you had left Chisaki and Kurono with your father. You began to worry, wondering if he’d berated them. He’d always been overprotective as a father, always joking about fighting anyone who so much as looked at you. You’d always assumed they were just jokes but... oh God, were they?
You were so preoccupied with your thoughts that you failed to notice Chisaki looking right at you. It wasn’t unusual for him to be able to read you like an open book and judging by the look on his face, he could see right through you.
“What’s the matter?” he asked, his head tilting as you startled out of your daze.
No point in trying to hide it now, you sighed.
“It’s just... I noticed things were a bit tense during dinner,” you told him, “my father didn’t give you any trouble did he?”
“Just a minor disagreement over sports, Juniper,” he shook his head, “nothing worth worrying over.”
You rose a brow. In all the years you’d known him, you’d never seen him watch sports. You weren’t buying it. “When have you ever been passionate about sports?” you retorted with a snort, masking your skepticism with humour.
“I guess you don’t know me as well as you think you do,” he quipped, straight-faced.
“Come on, don’t lie to me.”
“I’m not.”
You narrowed your eyes, searching for a sign that he was lying. He didn’t seem stressed and he held your gaze with so much confidence you were left second-guessing. Maybe he was telling the truth. Glancing up at the rearview mirror, you hoped to catch Kurono’s eye. He knew the truth, he’d been there. Unfortunately for you though, he was doing everything in his power to avoid looking your way. You deflated, deciding to quit probing for answers you clearly weren’t going to get. You figured you’d just have to call your father later.
The silence going forward was strained and petty on your part. Frustrated as you were though, you were also tired. So when Chisaki’s hand came to rest on your thigh, giving it a reassuring squeeze, you didn’t fight it. You relented with a sigh, laying your hand on top of his and tracing soothing circles over his knuckles. He turned his hand over, allowing your fingers to slip through his own and returned the gesture by tracing the webbed skin between your thumb and index. You didn’t have it in you to stay mad, especially when you were on your way to spend a romantic weekend together.
Overhead, daylight was beginning to fade. Kurono turned on the high beams as the car veered into a forested area, up a smaller gravel path. At it’s end, a small, wooded cabin sat waiting for your arrival. If you looked carefully, you could even see steam rising from the hot spring behind it. Eager to settle yourselves in and take a dip already, you jumped out of the car without waiting for Chisaki.
He wasn’t far behind of course, digging his phone out of his pocket to call the owner. Only problem? It wouldn’t power on. Dead of course, he groaned.
“Where’s your phone?” he asked, turning to you.
Perhaps still influenced by pettiness, you grabbed your phone and (because Chisaki had (thankfully) sent you the number in advance were something like this to happen) dialled the number. “I got it!”
He tried to snatch the phone straight out of your hand but you swiftly jumped back, shooting him a weird look. “Let me handle it,” he tried again, his hand held out. He received a playful swat instead.
“I told you, I can handle it.” You’d have thought he wouldn’t mind leaving the talking to you, after all, did he not always complain about having to deal with mundane tasks off his work hours? Strange.
He was about to make another attempt to snatch your phone when a lady with a raspy voice spoke up on the other side of the line. “Hello?”
You looked him dead in the eye as you answered, “hi, it’s (y/n). I’m calling on the behalf of Chisaki for the entry code for the cabin?”
He stopped, watching with a certain intensity that you couldn’t decipher.
“Oh yes, give me a second.” You jogged up to the porch while the owner audibly fumbled in search of the code she’d written down. “I found it,” while she began reciting the code, a little too quickly for your liking, you hurried to punch in the numbers.
A soft beep was heard and the door swung open. You thanked the lady on the phone, thinking that was it when she said something that caught you completely off guard. “You’re welcome—and oh! Congratulations on your engagement!”
“My what?” It took a moment for everything to click into place but when it did, you spun on your heels to look at Chisaki. The secretive and evasive behaviour, why he wanted to meet your family for dinner, the tension...
“My engagement?!” you repeated. The lady had already hung up but it wasn’t her you were talking to anyways.
Chisaki let out an irritated sigh, his hand coming up to pinch the bridge of his nose. This had not been part of the plan. With your incessant stare glued to him, he had no choice but to come clean.
Defeated, he stuffed his hands in his pockets as he approached you slowly. He thought it must’ve looked pathetic from the outside perspective, like a teenage boy trying to steel his nerves and work up the courage to ask his crush on a date. It was such an outrageous thought that it almost made his ears burn and his face flush. Once face to face with you, he awkwardly cleared his throat.
“Will you marry me?” His voice was quiet and surprisingly soft, only yours to hear.
You couldn’t think of anything to say, staring with a gobsmacked look as your brain took it’s sweet time trying to register what was happening. You gaped like a fish, desperately trying to formulate your thoughts. In the end, you threw yourself at him, wrapping your arms around his neck as you burst into tears. He wrapped his arms around you, albeit a little unceremoniously, awkwardly patting your back. Finally, he felt you nod weakly against his chest, a soft sob escaping you as you finally gave him a coherent answer. “Yes!”
You curled your fingers into his collar, tugging him down to your level and then poured your heart out to him with a kiss.
In the midst of your celebration you had forgotten you weren’t alone, there was a loud thud behind you as Kurono dropped your luggage by the door.
“Congrats.”
keigo’s tired.
he’s so tired of giving all the signs, he’s so tired of dropping all the hints, and he’s so incredibly tired of watching you look right past it all—right past him—and stare with heart eyes at the next guy who can break you. he thinks it’s unfair that you’re so hellbent on not seeing that he’s the right guy for you, and he thinks it’s even more unfair that he simply can’t bring himself to tell you he’s the right guy for you too.
“do you think this outfit is—hey! are you even listening?” you huff, looking at him with furrowed brows and a glare as he fiddles with his goggles in his hands, bored out of his mind.
keigo is selfish, he knows this. if he wasn’t, he’d stay far away from you. he’d keep you at arms length away from the mess that is his job, and the mess that is his life, and the mess that is him.
he knows that you deserve better. you deserve someone who’s not him—but he also knows you deserve someone who’s not like your previous dates. he’s not sure why you have such a taste for despicable men, but he thinks he’s at least a step up from them, and he figures if you’re after a guy that’ll ruin your life, why not pick one that can at least show you a good time? and maybe a good view from way up in the sky too, while you’re at it.
“just wear the same one as last time,” he grumbles, “you’re not gonna go on a second date anyway.”
“well, that’s rude,” you mumble, frowning and dropping the shirt in your hands as your cross your arms. he feels the urge to kiss the pout off your lips, and it’s so unbearably frustrating that he can’t, so incredibly bitter, that he has to look away from you. “what’s got your feathers all ruffled? you’re supposed to be supportive.”
“i support good decision making,” he raises a brow, “he’s a horrible decision.”
“and what is, then? you?” you snort, and this time the pout is on his lips instead. he really wishes you wouldn’t do that. he really wishes you wouldn’t see the idea of him as so unimaginable, it’s a joke that falls off your lips without a second thought.
keigo thinks that all things considered, even if his life is a rollercoaster of unceremonious events, and even if he’s a little clueless in the department of love, he could love you really purely. he knows this like he knows how quick his feathers can catch a falling old lady in the streets, and he knows this like he knows how to find out things he really shouldn’t be finding out from the commission.
he loves you. it’s that simple, and he can learn how to love you the right way if you just saw that he was the right choice.
“well, at least i’m not as ugly as the last few,” he huffs, and then his lips are curling into a dashing smile, pearly whites all but blinding you as they show themselves. “did you know i was labeled one of the current hottest—”
“i know. you only said it like a thousand times,” you groan. he snickers at the way you roll your eyes, and you fight back a grin at the sound. “they wouldn’t think you’re so hot if they held a five minute conversation with you,” you tease, and he throws his arms behind his back and sinks further into your bed, amused expression printed across his face.
you have to admit to yourself he is hot—but you definitely don’t have to admit it to him.
“then you must think i’m really hot. we talk for hours,” he smirks, sending you a wink in victory as though he’s won this pointless argument. you can’t help but chuckle, and he grins at you as you do. “we could be great together, you know. opposites attract.”
keigo might not have gotten the chance yet to take you on a date, but he gets to see a side of you that none of those guys ever have, and he thinks he can mark that as a victory. even if it’s a small one.
“so if you’re hot, what does that make me?” you raise a brow.
“the opposite of that,” he says smoothly, but you can tell from the way he eyes you softly, from the way his voice is a little more breathless as he takes in the sight of you before him, he really doesn’t mean it.
“you’re definitely as charming as my dates,” you scoff, shaking your head as you turn back to find another outfit. but his voice stops you, and there’s a bit of urgency in it that makes you halt.
keigo doesn’t know why, but he knows that if he lets you go on this date, something might change, and he’s never let anything slip past his fingers in the air, and he certainly won’t let you slip past them while you’re standing right here before him.
“don’t go on that date,” he almost pleads. you clutch the shirt in your hands a little tighter. you trust keigo, you really do. you trust he’ll always swoop in and protect you, but you have to wonder if he can protect you from himself.
“why?” you squint at him. he gulps, looking down at the goggles in his hands.
“you know why,” he mumbles softly. keigo’s always got something to say—even when he shouldn’t, and you’ve scolded him one too many times for that in the past. you think he can at least have the decency to admit this to you verbally before you even think about handing him your heart.
“say it,” you say firmly. there’s a moment of silence, and you almost think you have your answer. he’s not going to say anything, and you slowly nod to yourself before going to turn back to your closet. but his voice cuts you off again.
“we could be good together. opposites attract.”
and keigo’s got a mess of a life—but he thinks you’re the small bit of order that could make it feel just the slightest bit normal.
“I told you, I can handle it.” You’d have thought he wouldn’t mind leaving the talking to you, after all, did he not always complain about having to deal with mundane tasks off his work hours? Strange.
He was about to make another attempt to snatch your phone when a lady with a raspy voice spoke up on the other side of the line. “Hello?”
You looked him dead in the eye as you answered, “hi, it’s (y/n). I’m calling on the behalf of Chisaki for the entry code for the cabin?”
He stopped, watching with a certain intensity that you couldn’t decipher.
“Oh yes, give me a second.” You jogged up to the porch while the owner audibly fumbled in search of the code she’d written down. “I found it,” while she began reciting the code, a little too quickly for your liking, you hurried to punch in the numbers.
A soft beep was heard and the door swung open. You thanked the lady on the phone, thinking that was it when she said something that caught you completely off guard. “You’re welcome—and oh! Congratulations on your engagement!”
“My what?” It took a moment for everything to click into place but when it did, you spun on your heels to look at Chisaki. The secretive and evasive behaviour, why he wanted to meet your family for dinner, the tension...
“My engagement?!” you repeated. The lady had already hung up but it wasn’t her you were talking to anyways.
Chisaki let out an irritated sigh, his hand coming up to pinch the bridge of his nose. This had not been part of the plan. With your incessant stare glued to him, he had no choice but to come clean.
Defeated, he stuffed his hands in his pockets as he approached you slowly. He thought it must’ve looked pathetic from the outside perspective, like a teenage boy trying to steel his nerves and work up the courage to ask his crush on a date. It was such an outrageous thought that it almost made his ears burn and his face flush. Once face to face with you, he awkwardly cleared his throat.
“Will you marry me?” His voice was quiet and surprisingly soft, only yours to hear.
You couldn’t think of anything to say, staring with a gobsmacked look as your brain took it’s sweet time trying to register what was happening. You gaped like a fish, desperately trying to formulate your thoughts. In the end, you threw yourself at him, wrapping your arms around his neck as you burst into tears. He wrapped his arms around you, albeit a little unceremoniously, awkwardly patting your back. Finally, he felt you nod weakly against his chest, a soft sob escaping you as you finally gave him a coherent answer. “Yes!”
You curled your fingers into his collar, tugging him down to your level and then poured your heart out to him with a kiss.
In the midst of your celebration you had forgotten you weren’t alone, there was a loud thud behind you as Kurono dropped your luggage by the door.
“Congrats.”
If you’re a real human person still using the default tumblr avatar, consider changing it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
why should you change it?
When you guys pop up in our notifications, most seasoned tumblr users will suspect you’re a bot and block on sight.
why do we block immediately?
tumblr has a history of bots trying to infiltrate and establish a connection to a valid, existing blog in order to populate google searches. Simply liking or reblogging a post, not just adding a scam link to it, establishes this connection. Tumblr users don’t want this to happen, especially if it’s a scammy p*rn bot. So, we often block on sight.
So now I have to reblog stuff AND change my pfp?
Well, of course that’s up to you! I just want to explain why you may have been already blocked by an artist/blogger you may have discovered recently, and how you can avoid it in the future.
Reblogging does help creators more than likes because your reblogs will show up on the dash of those that may follow you. Plus, reblogging puts that post on your own blog, and in case the original gets deleted or edited by the OP, it’ll be on your blog like that–forever (or until you delete your blog). Nice.
Here are some free icons created by catalyststuff on freepik. Highly recommend their art for a simple replacement!
Tumblr media
The lights flickered overhead as Lady Nagant made her way down the dimly lit corridors of a hotel. It was quiet, something she appreciated greatly after the last few stressful and relentless couple days she’d had. With watchful eyes, she scanned her surroundings, taking notice of the cracks in the walls and the growing patches of mildew on the ceiling. The place was clearly old and neglected, far from the type of place she should have to worry about running into heroes but she wore a dark sweater and mask anyways, pulling the hood over her head just to be cautious.
The corridor seemed to stretch on forever and Nagant was beginning to think she was just so tired that she had started to hallucinate. Shadows were flitting past her peripheral vision, keeping her on edge as though they were taunting her, pretending to be heroes pouncing out of dark corners to apprehend her. The only thing she could think about to keep her sanity, was the promise of a hot bath and a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in. But most importantly though, was the promise of seeing her lover again; you brought her peace and comfort and it didn’t matter if she were in the most luxurious or dingy of hotels, you would always be her home.
Room 112, at last the room she was looking for. She knocked and waited, until the door opened just a crack and a face peered out from behind.
You had been comfortably tucked in bed, flipping through the channels on tv when you’d heard a knock at the door. Although you were expecting your girlfriend to arrive, you were still cautious. She had hammered into your head how unsafe this part of the city was, so you’d been sure to keep the chain lock on. When you saw who was at the door however, you swiftly shut the door and unlocked the chain.
“Kaina!” You swung open the door once more, and flung yourself into your girlfriend’s arms, squeezing her in a tight embrace.
She let out a stunned gasp as you nearly knocked the wind out of her. Despite the jarring welcome, all previous matters troubling her mind seemed to have lessened in your presence, though she knew she’d feel a lot more secure once inside. “Can you let me in?”
“Right, yes,” you answered sheepishly, stepping aside to let her in. As soon as the door closed and the locks came back on, Nagant could finally let her guard down. She removed the sweater that had originally belonged to you and tossed it on the bed, before pulling you right back into a hug, a proper one this time.
“I missed you,” she mumbled, tucking her face into the crook of your neck. You let out a giggle as the warmth of her breath tickled the skin there. After everything she’d been through, that sound that was music to her ears.
“I missed you too.” All was quiet for moment and she could have almost fallen asleep right then and there in your arms — and she likely would have, if you hadn’t cheekily added, “you should take a bath before you get some sleep, you smell like you’ve had a long day.”
Although she rolled her eyes, there was no way the woman could keep the corners of her mouth from twitching up as she negotiated, “only if you help me wash my hair, I’m tired.”
“Of course.”
A hot bubble bath (you had insisted on the bubble part, and how could she possibly deny you when you always went above and beyond to take such good care of her) made all the difference. For the guarded woman that she was, Nagant relished in being able to be vulnerable around you. She loved letting you wash her hair, to allow someone else for a change, to take care of her. She could feel all the tension in her body melt away and if it weren’t for the bright lights overhead, she’d be dosing off as your hands lathered shampoo into her hair.
You hummed quietly to yourself as you rinsed out the bubbles. “How’ve you been?” you asked, “I haven’t seen you in weeks,” you added, careful not to pull out any tufts of her hair as you went on to lather the conditioner in.
She let out an exasperated grunt and let herself sink deeper into the tub, until the water rose up just below her nose. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
“That’s fair,” you reassured her. She didn’t say anything but heaved a sigh of relief, grateful for your willingness to drop the matter.
You rinsed out the conditioner and she pulled the plug from the drain as you turned to grab one of the white towels off the rack. “I’ll be right back, I brought you a change of clothes.”
Now, when you had said “change of clothes,” Nagant had expected a pair of sweats and a tee-shirt. So when you instead walked in with a duffle bag full of options, she couldn’t help but fall just a little deeper in love with you. You always did have a habit of going above and beyond for her. Not that she was complaining. She went through the bag and picked out a shirt and a pair of sweats as you sat behind her to pat her hair dry.
The next few minutes passed in a blur and before you knew it, you were both snuggled up in bed, the tv playing the old black and white movie you had landed on before opening the door. It wasn’t even in Japanese or English, but it served more as background noise anyways, since you were far too busy drifting in and out of consciousness in the arms of your girlfriend to care. She laid with her head on your chest, her arms loosely wrapped around your torso and her legs entangled with yours. Her back rose and fell in a deep, steady rhythm and you allowed yourself to follow that rhythm and let it lull you sleep. These were the few but precious moments you shared together.
Bars aren't really your kind of scene. You’d take staying home, curled up in bed with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa over going out for drinks any day. So what could have possibly dragged you out of your comfort zone for drinks? The new secretary working at Dynamight’s agency, of course.
She was a new addition, had only been working for about a week or two so far. Still there was something about her that made a lump rise in your throat. She infuriated you. You’d caught her swooning over Bakugo multiple times now, either giggling at one of the fiery-tempered hero’s sharp remarks, or smiling every time they crossed paths, even daring to get touchy at times. Then, when he’d inevitably end up snapping at her, she would reel back with a look of shock, like he had slapped her across the face. Stupid girl, don’t try getting close to him when you can’t handle it.
Bakugo meanwhile, had noticed how close his sidekick and secretary had gotten as of late. He saw the way in which you laughed at her jokes, the way you greeted her with a hug every morning. You’d never done that with him, he thought. Sure he was rough around the edges, and he could be intimidating at... well, all times... but he thought he’d been soft enough around you.
You’d never done that with him, he thought. Sure he was rough around the edges, and he could be intimidating at... well, all times... but he thought he’d been soft enough around you.
He’d spent the last year scaring away any potential suitors, hellbent on making you his. The only thing was... he didn’t know how to approach you on the topic of a date, or just relationships in general. He wished you could just wake up one day, realise you had feelings for him and come to him of your own volition. He knew realistically though, that it wasn’t a likely scenario. Not yet anyways. For the time being, he’d just have to keep making sure any potential threats were taken care of.
As you sat in your private booth at the bar, Tamiko was going on and on about a movie she’d recently watched and how romantic and cheesy it had been. You listened, although not attentively, mindlessly running your fingers against the cool metal of the knife discreetly strapped to your thigh. It had only been thirty minutes but you were getting impatient.
“Ah, s’cuse me!” you interrupted her rambling as a waiter walked by, “one more round, please!” He nodded, and continued on his way.
Tamiko blinked at you with sheepish eyes. “I don’t think I should drink anymore,” she admitted with a small laugh.
“Nonsense, we’re out to have fun! You can even take tomorrow off if you want, I’ll cover for you,” you reassured her. Tomorrow was meant to be your day off but you figured it’d be worth it in the grand scheme of things. “Besides, when’s the next time we’ll be able to go out again like this!”
The girl chewed her bottom lip in contemplation before letting out a sigh and grinning, “you know what, you’re right!”
When the waiter returned with a new round of shots, Tamiko grabbed them from his tray and passed you yours before downing hers. You didn’t follow suit though. “Here, have mine,” you offered, sliding the glass back towards her, “I have to stop if I’ll be working tomorrow.”
You thought you’d need to keep coaxing her but she surprisingly didn’t question it. She even ordered more drinks with very little encouragement on your part, until she could barely see straight anymore. “One more round, sir!” She requested as the waiter came back around. Her words were slurred, and she could barely get the words out without breaking into a fit of giggles.
“I think you’ve had enough,” the man said, smiling in a polite but awkward manner.
You slid out of your booth and helped Tamiko to her feet. “I’m sorry about that, we’ll be going now,” you assured him to which he nodded briskly. “C’mon let’s get you home.”
You walked on for a fair distance, grunting as you bore her weight along the way. She was completely out of it, entirely relient on you which would unfortunately be a terrible mistake on her part, one she’d never get to learn from. Something about that thought ignited a sense of glee within you.
You stopped at a bridge and observed the dark waters swirling below, there’s not a soul around, this should do. You pushed the secretary against the railing to make it easier to push her over the side, and drew out your knife. Completely unaware, Tamiko didn’t fight back when you held the blade up to her throat. You jerked your arm back and sliced her throat, watching her eyes grow wide with panic. Only then did she try to scream, although it was of no avail. The only sound she made was a choked gurgle.
“You should have stayed away, Tamiko Kobashigawa.” As quickly as you could and with all your might, you pushed her over the railing, watching the water carry her body away, the back of her head bobbing out and under the waves. Adrenaline was coursing through your veins at the thought of what you’d accomplished yet again. There was a pep in your step as you began to walk away.
That’s when you heard it, the sound of hurried footsteps, putting distance between you and itself. Your head snapped up in alarm, and without a second to spare, you took off after whoever had witnessed your crimes. You followed them all the way down the street and your blood ran cold when you turned the corner behind the old abandoned warehouse, only to find him.
Bakugo had a tight grip on who you recognised to be the waiter from the bar as he babbled incoherently, “oh thank god, Dynamight! I- I just wanted to make sure they made it home safe but then, then—” before he could finish, Bakugo pushed him back, right into your chest, his palm lighting up with sparks. You held your bloodied knife up to the waiter’s neck, but hesitated. He stood right there in front of you, waiting. Did he want you to kill the waiter?
“Go on, what are you waiting for?” he hissed, his eyes narrowing into slits.
Your throat tightened. Was he taunting you? Would take you down, kill you? There was already enough incriminating evidence to throw you in jail, either way you were screwed. You could choose to take your chances here and now. Besides, one witness is better than two, you told yourself. You took a deep breathe to steel yourself and sliced the waiter’s throat, allowing his body to collapse on the ground. You looked up, meeting the expectant eyes of the hero in front of you. You expected him to leap at you, but instead he was regarding you with fascination.
“Why’d you do it?” he asked.
You swallowed the lump in your throat, figuring you might as well spit it out. “For you. I had to make sure she didn’t steal you from me, I love you!” You were staring at him with such desperation, willing him to understand.
And he did. He pulled you into his arms, without a care in the world for your blood soaked clothes. With one hand he tilted your chin up to meet his gaze, before the other settled on your lower back. He pulled you in even closer and crashed his lips against yours. The feeling was one of pure bliss as you melted into the kiss, like your heart was a burning furnace and more coal had been tossed into it, stoking the fire within.
You stared at him wide-eyed as he pulled back, a self satisfied smirk etched onto his face. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to hear those words.”
