i love writing down things. i aspire to do these kind of things someday. when i am in a different field.

I realized that, in the chaos with my illness and everything else, I accidentally skipped my favorite part of the writing process. after reading through my sources several times, following a different logic each time, I like to draw up a long list of random observations in no particular order. since I already have some kind of framework for the subchapter, arranging them will be a bit easier, but, at the same time, the nature of these observations will also shape the subchapter's logic. so, with that, the writer's block is (probably) sorted out, and now I can finally make substantial progress.

cafes at the mountains are still different from the cafes in the metro. even though there are a lot of people at kape natividad when we visited, i still enjoyed the ambiance of the place. it wasn’t noisy, and it cool wind was coming from the mountains. i told my ate if i lived around the area, i would always drive there almost everyday and spend some time there just to relax. oh how i miss it already.

my cousin saw my ig story the other day. it was about having “high performing depression.” Though i dont know if i have it but it seems i experience it these past few months. something very unhelpful to my growth has happened at work and i hate it—i hate it even more because no one understands it. and what she said made my day better. she sees what i wanna do even though i haven’t told her anything, not one bit. she knows me very well and is even open to helping me start up a business someday. it made me want to be a creative again. thanks ate.

if you’re looking for a relaxing cafe in the philippines…….starbucks is not the place (especially in the metro or any big city here). it’s hella noisy—except when you prefer it that way. i’m planning to do some writing here, and my headphones are on low battery, so good luck to me, i guess?

decided to lend my old books to my students so they could read something from catch-up fridays but it still seems like they don’t care. idk what to do anymore if our bookclub still doesn’t work. maybe i’ll give extra credits to those who will have their reading journal by the end of the mid-year break after the exams.

i was able to finish part 1 of Almond last night and it was gut-wrenching already, only 19 chapters in. i wrote down my thoughts on my ipad and it seems to be a full on book review already lol. Almond has the shortest chapters ever, which made me read it quickly. I tend to burnout when a book has looooong chapters, so i hope to finish this book this month. and also, i got me a hand-me-down kindle which made me want to read more hehehehe
