PREVIOUS PART / NEXT PART
"In order to be perpetually happy, one must suffer to maintain the happiness of others."
"Ah! Shouta, my pal. What can I possibly do for you today?" Aizawa squinted at the brightness and the energy his friend radiated as he continued to walk towards him. What was he doing you may ask? Well, he was going to ask Yamada for advice.
Advice.
"What?!" Yamada exclaimed, earning the attention of Kayama by the corner. Yamada howled in laughter as his stoic friend just stared at him, completely serious about the situation at hand. Maybe this was a mistake, Aizawa thought.
Maybe it was, indeed. But too late to back down now. What's done is done.
"Never have I ever thought that this very day would come. Congratulations, old pal! Though, I don't understand why you are asking me for help." It was true. Yamada didn't know why Aizawa came to him instead of Kayama. Kayama was an expert at this, being a woman and all. "I may have met my soulmate a day before you found yours but that does not certainly make me a professional in that field!"
"This is quite... surprising." Kayama Nemuri, a friend and a colleague of Yamada and Aizawa, blurted out loud earning the attention of the two males. Unbeknownst to the two of them, Kayama had been eavesdropping on the conversation being held without her, much to her dismay and as Kayama listened further it turned out that the one Aizawa was fussing about was a female! And his soulmate! And did I also mention a female?
Do not get Aizawa wrong. Females are respectable, yes but he doesn't really have time for them thus he had the least experience when it comes to this 'love' and 'soulmate' thing. It was like a math question that was incredibly hard to solve. No genius could ever solve it.
"Do not fret, Shouta! I will try my best to help you in every way I can!" Kayama exclaimed, literally jumping up and down with excitement and happiness. Aizawa looked at Kayama with an unreadable look plastered on his face but you could clearly see his desire to be six feet under the ground right now.
"I will help too! Whatever do you need, my friend!" Their energies often overwhelm Aizawa but somehow this time he wasn't bothered as much about the energy they were practically giving off. Maybe it was because of the events that happened a day prior? Hmm. That could be it.
"Right then! Let us not waste any more time blabbering nonsense! Describe the lady to us, Shouta!" Kayama enthustically screamed making Aizawa regret his decision, but it was foo late to back down now. He just has to endure the never-ending pain.
"If you would kindly quiet down then I will be happy to describe her to you." Aizawa grumbled while glaring at the duo infront of him. As much as he wants to avoid a conversation with these two about his soulmate and continue to pester him until he finally jumps down a cliff willingly, he needs all the advice he can get.
You see, Aizawa is inexperienced with these kind of things. So he trusts Kayama and Yamada to give him the right things to do or say. They met their soulmates before him after all.
"Alright, we'll simmer down. Now go on, Shouta." Yamada sent him an encouraging smile but his smile never helped him at all.
"She's... gentle in a way, if you will. She's also incredibly polite." Kayama and Yamada sighed, for someone as observant as Aizawa he never really gave that much of an info about his observations on his soulmate which annoyed the two.
"Now, now, Aizawa. Is that all?" When Aizawa nodded as an answer to Kayama's question, the duo sighed. Aizawa maybe a fierce warrior in the battlefield but when it comes to love, he is really really helpless. "Really? Are you certain?" Aizawa nodded again, this time Kayama didn't resist the urge to roll her eyes.
"Do not fuss over things Shouta! Just be yourself! Show her your true colors! I am incredibly sure that she will accept you, no matter what." Kayama hyped her friend up after seeing his worried expression. Or rather seeing an expression other than tiredness and disinterest in his face. Though Kayama knew that eventually her friend is gonna mess up in some way.
"Nemuri is right, my dear friend! Be brave and confront her just like how you confront our foes and slaughter them with your mighty strength!"
Aizawa stood up and just grunted as an answer. He lazily waved the two goodbye as he set out on a quest to find you, his soulmate.
Now where could you possibly be?
...
Maybe finding you isn't as easy taking down an army.
Aizawa has been looking everywhere for you, in the town, the market, the pond, the garden, everywhere that he could ever think of. A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead as he tried to think of any more logical places that you could be in.
Unfortunately he couldn't think of one. Why? The reason is simple.
He doesn't know that much about you. Although Aizawa is one hell of an observant man, he couldn't read you really that well. All that he could read from you are your hesitation, your doubts, your kindness and etc. Just the simple things. But things that can help him find you? None.
Aizawa sighed. Great, just great.
Sitting down beside a random tree, Aizawa decided to take a nap. He will find you later once he regained his energy. He surely will. But before he could even drift off to the world of fantasies, a voice called out to him. A familiar voice.
Your voice.
"Oh? It is you again? Do you not have a roof to stay under?"
"No, I was merely taking a nap." Aizawa replied. "I have been meaning to talk to you."
"Ah, I as well." You fiddled on the bow of your dress, looking down not bothering to make eye contact with him. In truth, you were intimidated by his stature. His looks are indeed worthy of a warrior and from what you've heard he also has all the traits a warrior should have. The only down side of him was his sharp-pointed tongue and his apathetic appearance.
Silence. There was silence after the small exchange of words. There was also some awkward tension in the air too, though it wasn't that thick which made you slightly better?
"Oh... uhm... I will go first then." You nervously spoke up. "Well... I intend to... No... I want to see where fate will take us but if you wish to oppose, I will respect your decision."
Aizawa looked at you for a second with a look you couldn't quite decipher before speaking up as well. "That will be great then. Because I very much want to see where this path leads us as well." His response made you look up in surprise. Do your ears decieve you or did he say he wanted to be your soulmate as well?
Out of too much happiness, you ran up to him and wrapped your arms around him making him freeze but you didn't care. You were too happy right now to care. Fortunately, Aizawa didn't care either because seconds later his arms were wrapped around your waist pulling you closer.
"If you will allow me, I want to take a stroll with you across town."
"It will be an honor."
...
"Shouta!" You called out to him once you saw him entering the kingdom's gates. He and his team just finished a mission outside of town that lasted for 2 weeks. 2 whole weeks, without him. You missed him dearly, and he did too. So, seeing your face in the crowd after 2 whole exhausting weeks? Aizawa couldn't be any happier.
Once your eyes met his, you immediately waved to him and mouthed, "I will meet you at the tree after the king's meeting, my love!" to which he just nodded. It may seem cold to everyone else but that's just how Aizawa is. Though deep down you knew, he was ecstatic to see you as well.
Instantly leaving after that, Aizawa groaned. As much as he wanted to perform his duties well, the time apart from you was killing him. He needed to feel you, hug you, and kiss you. He wanted to be with you so much. But no, the king just had to hold a meeting after missions. His groan caught the attention of his friends who was just right beside him. After hearing the sound, the two chuckled.
"Do not worry, my dear friend! You will be reunited with your love, soon!" Hizashi exclaimed, earning the attention of some warriors who just aww'ed at the sight of Aizawa being annoyed by his friends.
"Do make sure she enjoys the passionate love ma-"
"Shut your mouth, Kayama." Aizawa quickly interrupted her suggestive comment. "I do not have the energy to deal with your dirty comments and Hizashi's pestering right now. So please kindly, shut up." It was harsh, Aizawa knew, but he has been friends with the two of them long enough that the two of them are accustomed to this kind of Aizawa's behavior.
"You really need to learn how to relax, Aizawa!" Fukukado butted in. God, his other headache is here. Why is the day going by slowly?
...
"King Tomura has agreed to everything on the treaty." Aizawa said after giving the signed piece of paper to King Toshinori. "His kingdom will not pose as a threat to ours, no more." King Toshinori looked at them with a satisfied look on his face, pleased at the outcome of the mission.
"I, once again deeply apologize for not accompanying you. My sickness is getting the worse of me these days." The knights nodded in understanding. The king's condition was becoming worse day by day and that is why they had to go over the peace treaty with King Tomura's kingdom as soon as possible. King Toshinori wanted his kingdom to be at peace before he... goes to a better place.
"If there are no more concerns, you are dismissed." After bowing before their king, they quickly dispersed, wanting to spend the most of their free time doing what they want. The mission drained most of their energy thus, everyone wanted to recharge as soon as possible before the next mission.
While Aizawa, he just wants to be in your arms.
Sighing, he felt his muscles and bones ache. Oh how he would pay a lot gold coins for your cuddles right now.
Quickly making way to the tree where you met which had become your usual meet-up place by now, Aizawa decided to take a rest first. Surely, you'll come before the sun sets so he's a 100% sure he doesn't sleep in the gardens again.
Closing his eyes, Aizawa felt the sleep envelop him in a comforting hug and soon... he was knocked out.
Meanwhile, you were running. Why? Because you were late. You were supposed to meet Aizawa an hour ago but something... made you late. You groaned internally as you realized Aizawa was probably going to grill you on why you were late and you don't have the energy for that.
Nearing the tree, you saw him peacefully napping under the shade, looking handsome as ever. Though, you notice the dark circles on his face and a few bruises here and there which you made you worried.
"Shouta?" You called out to him, gently caressing his face. Unconsciously, he leaned in to your touch and just continued sleeping. You giggled as you took in his sleeping form. Even though you've seen him like this a lot of times, it never ceases to amaze you how sometimes Aizawa can be a heavy sleeper. Though you knew he was tired, you think the tree has magic sometimes as it puts Aizawa into a very deep sleep.
"Shouta." His name was being said louder now making him groan. Who has the nerve to wake him up? When he finds out who it is, he's gonna give the person a good talking to and-
Oh, it was you.
You looked so beautiful. The sun rays hitting your skin at a perfect angle, your smile — so genuine and sweet — and your voice, God how he missed your angelic voice.
You continue to stare at him, waiting for a response. You were about to say something when you were quickly pulled into a hug, arms wrapped tightly around you, as if he never wanted to let go.
Smiling as you felt his face nuzzle in your neck, you gladly returned the well needed hug. It's been so long since the both of you last saw each other and it was clear that the both of you missed the other so much.
"I have missed you, my love." His voice sent shivers down your spine.
"I, as well." You replied before breaking the hug. "Though, you really should practice not napping under the tree, everytime we meet."
"It is not my fault. You were running late." You froze. So he did notice you were late.
"I am deeply sorry for that, my love. I forgot I had some errands to run. It will not happen again, I promise." You apologized while placing the stray strands of hair behind his ear.
Looking into your eyes, Aizawa clearly didn't believe your bluff. You were not the forgetful type nor the one to lie about things so he just let it slide for now. He was about to reply when he saw something on your face.
A bruise on your forhead.
It was not noticeable but upon further inspection, he could clearly see it.
"What happened, my love?" He asked. His voice was the usual gruff one he used but somehow more soft and... caring which made your heart swell from the display of affection he was showing. He gently touched the bruise making you wince in pain.
"It is nothing to worry about, Shouta. I..." You placed a hand on your nape in embarassment. "I... tripped earlier while I was rushing here. It was just me being clumsy." Aizawa merely nodded and signaled you to stand up — as you were practically sitting on his lap.
After standing up, you quickly brushed yourself off and held Aizawa's hand after he did the same.
"What would you like for dinner?" And with that the two of you exited the garden while holding hands. You noticed Aizawa was being clingy than usual to which you just concluded that it was because of the time you spent apart from each other.
"Anything you made sounds divine, my love." He smiled at you making your insides feel tingly. Aizawa rarely smiled but when he does, it's one of the moments you've come to cherish and adore.
"Alright, let us fasten our pace then, Mr. Aizawa. Food awaits!" And in that moment Aizawa knew, he loved you.

NEXT PART
"In order to be perpetually happy, one must suffer to maintain the happiness of others."
"You may leave now. Thank you for all that you've done for the kingdom and it's people." Aizawa could feel his eye twitching at the king's praise. Even though the man was spouting good words about him, he could still feel the annoyance building up inside him.
He never really knew why he disliked King Toshinori. Maybe it was because the previous ruler was a lot better than him. Queen Shimura was indeed the best ruler they ever had, so maybe that set his standards pretty high. Or maybe it was because of the fact that the king was practically choosing a favorite-in Aizawa's perspective-of all the candidates to be his successor.
Nevertheless, the feeling never went away despite the King showing genuine gratitude and appreciates deeply about what Aizawa does for the kingdom.
A nod was Aizawa's only answer as he left the throne room quietly, sighing as he saw Fukukado Emi heading his way. Great, his headache was now here. Just great, very great timing.
"Ah! It seems that I have caught up to you just in time!" His fellow warrior exlaimed and Aizawa swore that if Fukukado wasn't someone he had respected-yes even though she annoys the hell out of Aizawa, he still respects her for her heroic traits-he would've flipped her off or worse, punch her. But no, that just wasn't the case for Aizawa so all he can do for now is to endure the pain.
"Whatever do you need, Fukukado?" Aizawa asked-albeit dryly. Fukukado didn't mind that though, she knew Aizawa well.
"Let us wed!" Fukukado bluntly screamed out earning the attention of some warriors roaming down the hall. But don't worry, they were used to this kind of thing, though it's quite heartbreaking to see Aizawa shoot her down everytime.
"No." Aizawa responded without hesitation. You can hear it in his voice and see it in his face that he was clearly not interested and that he was clearly irritated about the fact that he could be napping somewhere right now instead of bickering with a fellow warrior.
Fukukado laughed at his response, but she still didn't give up. She shot Aizawa with a few more flirtatious comments here and there until someone had to cut her off and drag her away, leaving a sighing Aizawa behind.
"She does not give up easily, does she not?" A loud, boisterous man stated before Aizawa making him grunt in response. He knew that voice too well, it was Yamada Hizashi, another fellow warrior.
"Clearly, she does not care about the fact that she has a soulmate and so do you." Hizashi snickered at the end of his sentence. It was entertaining to see Fukukado flirt with Aizawa, yes, but it still doesn't change the fact that Fukukado actually likes him and not in a platonic way.
You see, in this world they live in, soulmates were such a thing. From the day your parents welcomed you into this world, initials in black ink become tattoed into your wrist and by the time you turn 18 you finally will meet the one you're destined for, the one who you will grow up with.
Aizawa never knew when nor where he would meet his soulmate. It could be later, tomorrow, next week, next year and he will never know. But one thing's for sure, meeting your soulmate was inevitable. Whether you like it or not, you were bound to meet who it was.
It was romantic, truly like a scene from a romantic novel. But to Aizawa, it's just something he never looked forward to all his life. Sure, he would like to spend his life with a significant other but the soulmate thing for him was a little far-fetched. Almost, unreal. And that makes him question it.
"Ah! Speaking of soulmates! I have found mine!" And with that, Yamada's 2-hour long talk about his beloved soulmate started.
...
"Excuse me?" A voice pulled Aizawa out of his slumber. A few hours prior he had been exhausted from his travels, Fukukado's pestering and Yamada's long speech about his soulmate. And to top it all off, his horse ran off leaving him no choice but to nap in the gardens.
The garden was very peaceful and people rarely visited it for it's like a maze. Aizawa didn't mind that though as he basically memorized all the passages like the back of his hand.
Back to the situation at hand, the voice that woke him up from his well-deserved nap belonged to a lady. A beautiful lady at that-Aizawa wouldn't say that out loud though.
Aizawa was not one to look at physical appearances and yet, something about yours captivated him in some way he couldn't explain. He shook it off, feeling a bit odd about what emotioned he just encountered.
Aizawa blinked as he realized how close your face was to him. Upon realizing this, you quickly stepped back. Sputtering out an apology as your cheeks began to heat up in embarrassment.
"I am very sorry sir! I-I... T-Those weren't my intentions! I was just checking if you were alive or not!" Aizawa just nodded and stood up, eyeing you up and down.
Now, now. Aizawa wasn't checking you out. He was merely figuring out who you are. He never saw your face before. Not even a glimpse. And that made his warrior instincts kick in.
"It is alright." Aizawa simply responded brushing off the dirt on his body. "Are you new to this area?"
"Yes, indeed. And I fear that I may have gotten lost..." You trailed off quietly as you began to smile shyly at the warrior infront of you. You had heard many great things about him but you had also heard many not-so-nice comments here and there. But seeing him up close and talking to him made you think if those comments were really true.
"Next time, be careful." He never intended it to sound so harsh but who could blame him? With a stoic demeanor like his, his response is bound to sound harsh.
"I definitely will. But for now, will you help me get out of this maze?" Aizawa just nodded once again, not really feeling the need to talk further. You let out a sigh of relief once he started walking towards what you pressumed as the way out. Though the garden was nice, to be frank, you had gotten tired of it. Why? You never really knew.
Upon reaching the exit, you bowed at the man, thanking him with all of your heart for saving you from that cursed maze. But for every word of gratitude, he just shakes it off as nothing which made you kind of wanna roll your eyes.
"Well, thanks again Sir-?"
"Aizawa, Aizawa Shouta." He briefly introduced himself, glancing at you for a second before turning his gaze somewhere. You could clearly tell his disinterest from a mile away thus you wanted to wrap things up as soon as possible. You didn't want to take up his precious time any longer.
"Alright then. Thank you Sir Aizawa." You smiled. "I, L/n Y/n, will surely not need your help next time." Suddenly, after finishing your sentence, a glowing circle appeared on the ground beneath you startling the both of you. Gold lights swirled around you making beautiful designs here and there. Your eyes widened as you stared at the tired man infront of you. Could he be?
"Well this... was rather unexpected." You let out an awkward laugh as you watched his expression. Right, this was unexpected indeed.
Aizawa never knew when he would meet his soulmate. But one thing's clear: it was inevitable.
And Aizawa met his, just now.
"Well... uh... please let me introduce myself again. My name is L/n Y/n, it's nice to meet you Aizawa Shouta."
Unexpected indeed.

Hi! I was wondering if you could do a headcannon of Aizawa finding out he's dating one of his students (you can chose) bigger sister that also teaches for U.A? Thanks! 💗
AIZAWA FINDING OUT YOU'RE TOKOYAMI'S SIBLING (HCS)
Honestly, it wasn’t even obvious that you were the older sister of Tokoyami.
Because you know... bird head and you not bird head.
There wasn’t a resemblance at all.
Anyways, Aizawa doesn’t pry into your personal life unless it’s a situation of life and death, so, he doesn’t ask about your family and whatnot.
You’ve never told him about them either, so, it wasn’t really that much of an issue to the both of you.
Until suddenly, you brought it up in the middle of dinner.
Hey, Shouta. Do you want to meet my family?”
You just said it so casually, it actually made him stop eating and blink owlishly at you.
His mind immediately went, ‘Who?’
Then it hits him.
oh oH OH
You two were just staring at each other in silence while Aizawa remains taken aback by your question.
But once it all set in, he agrees.
After all, you already met his parents. What harm could it bring, right?
Haha, right.
So, you guys set up a date and he finally meets the family.
When you guys arrive at the place, Fumikage immediately starts choking on a marshmellow.
How do you even choke on a marshmallow? (I choked on one. Not a good experience.)
Fumikage’s mind went like, “What a mad banquet of darkness.”
"I’m dating my student’s sister?” Yes, Aizawa. You are. Aizawa’s fucking his sister too but Fumikage doesn’t need to know that.
Anyways, there’s this thick awkward blanket between the two of them as you introduced Aizawa to your family. But he still isn’t convinced that Fumikage is your brother.
“Oh! And this is my lil bro! Fumi, this is my boyfriend Aizawa. Aizawa, this is my younger brother, Fumikage.”
"I know.” They both say at the same time which confused you.
"He’s my homeroom teacher.”
"The hardass?!” Fumikage blushed in embarrassment at that, but it was true. Aizawa was indeed a hardass.
"Y-Yes, the hardass.” The way Fumikage replied with such bravery. We stan.
Honestly, you just wanna roll on the ground and laugh right now because never have you seen Fumikage so embarrassed like this.
Eventually, you all moved on from the ‘my sister’s seeing my teacher’ incident and sat down for dinner. Your parents love Aizawa (Fumikage and Dark Shadow will watch Aizawa very carefully, but he approves.) and the dinner ended on a very good note.
"Oh, I gotta go to the restroom for a bit, Shou. Wait for me, ‘kay?”
Cue intense staring contest.
"I don’t care if you’re my teacher or a pro-hero, if you hurt my sister, trust me, I will fuck you up.”
“I won’t hurt her.”
"Good because I have watched enough horror movies to know how to effectively hide a body.”
The tension magically went away as you arrived.
“Bye Fumi! Take care, ok? I love you.” You kissed his birb forehead before waving goodbye, walking away with a slightly traumatized Aizawa.
When you guys got home, Aizawa asked why you don’t look like anyone in your family.t
"Oh, the crow likeness runs in my father’s side. I didn’t inherit those I guess. My mom’s face is practically a shadow but they say I look like her. But I still got the shadow quirk from my parents.” Huh.
When Monday arrived, the students noticed the evident awkward tension in the room.
Good thing they’re not smart enough (and Tokoyami isn’t talkative enough) to figure out it’s from Tokoyami and Aizawa.
Cue Mic’s teasing and a ton of migraines.
What made matters worse (for Aizawa at least) was that soon enough you took up a teaching role in U.A.
Seeing you in a new light, Aizawa admired you even more.
Cue gagging noises from Fumikage as he watches his teacher made goo-goo eyes at you.
You loved teaching and you loved spending time with Aizawa and your brother.
It was a win-win for you but a win-lose for Aizawa and Fumikage.
RIP Aizawa Shouta.

Hi I was wondering for your AU fest if you can you please do the Tokyo Ghoul AU, probably one with Ghoul!Shoto X human! reader? (Sorry if this is dumb)
NO MATTER WHAT — GHOUL! T. SHOTO
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I originally wrote this for Tokoyami but realized it suited Todoroki better. AAAAAA pls tell me if there's errors.
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED (for now)
WARNINGS: mentions of human consumption
WORD COUNT: 763
Perhaps choosing you as his next target was the biggest mistake (or was it a blessing in disguise?) that Todoroki or has ever done. No, it wasn't because of the fact that you tasted bland (when you questioned him about this, he just said that you do), no, it was because he just had to fall in love with you.
He lures you in just like he does with his previous victims. Befriending you, slowly getting to know you and your different quirks and bright personality. And on the day you finally agreed to hang out, was the day he'd chomp down on a glorious feast.
Until, he didn't.
He was so confused with himself. Why can't he bring himself to devour you just like he did with his past victims? Why was he always looking forward to your little friendly dates, to your annoying bright smile, and to all your little mannerisms and whatnot? Why were you so different from all the people he interacted with?
What made you special?
Seeing you now, in your shared apartment, the morning glow bouncing off your skin as you hummed a tune while waiting for the coffee machine to finally be ready, he finally realized what it is.
You weren't special. You're just... you.
And he loved that. He loved you.
He loved everything about you. To the way you pester him to take care of himself. To the way you fully accepted him into your life regardless of him being a ghoul. To the way you hugged him after a long day at work, your scent so heavenly he just nuzzles into your neck. To the way you didn't shy away from him when he finally revealed himself, his true self, to you.
"I'm not gonna run away from this Shoto." Your voice rang out in his mind. You slowly approached him, hesitant but not afraid to approach him, to comfort him. You cupped his cheeks and gave him a sad smile. "I'm not gonna run away from us. From you. Just because we have our differences — with you being a ghoul, and me being human — doesn't mean I'll leave you or love you any less."
"I'm dangerous."
"So am I in the morning when I haven't had my coffee yet."
"This is different, Y/n. I eat humans!" You bit your lip as you stared into his eyes. Orbs filled with caution and fear. Fear of potentially hurting you, or fear of not being there to protect you when trouble arises.
You have never seen him so vulnerable before.
"Shoto," you called out to him. He refused to meet your eyes, scared of what your eyes might tell him. "Shoto, look at me." When he finally did, you slowly wiped away the tears that feel from his eyes. Those ghoul eyes that can frighten anyone in sight.
But not you.
Because even if this man in front of you is a ghoul, he is still Todoroki Shoto. He is still your Shoto. The Shoto you got to know and love. The Shoto you cherished. The Shoto who would go to the moon and back for you.
"I love you, no matter what." Those words seemed to ground him because after a split second, he quickly engulfed you in a hug. You let him stay there, stay as you are. Let him let out the feelings he'd been holding back.
"Are... we okay?" He asked once he finally calmed down.
You rubbed his back in a soothing matter. "We are. And if there comes a time where we aren't, we will be."
"Okay..." He breathed out. "Okay."
Oh goodness. He was so incredibly fond of you.
He's never fallen this hard before.
"Shoto." As if on instinct, his kagune who seemingly had a mind of its own, came out and nuzzled into your open palm which you held out when you saw your lover in the entryway of the kitchen. "Good morning."
Todoroki closed the gap between the two of you and greeted you with a kiss on the forehead, earning a smile from you.
"Good morning, love." Todoroki savoured this moments with you. Because even though he might outlive you; even though dangers lurk in every corner, ready to jump out and disrupt the peace that the two of you had; even though darkness plagued the back of his mind; he knows you will be there to ground him. Be it in memory or in front of him, smiling with a cup of coffee, you'll always be there for him. No matter what.

"Shouta." You poked his cheek. You have found him sleeping on the couch again when you returned from the appoinment you had to go to. It was supposed to be cuddle day but unfortunately you needed to go. But thankfully, the appointment was fast and you managed to return an hour after noon.
You chuckled as you stared at his sleeping form. Of course he just had to sleep in his sleeping bag on the couch. You were positive he loved that thing as much as he loves you-more even! And the thought just made you chuckle again.
"Shouta, I'm here now." You poked his cheek once again, this time earning a groan from your husband. "Wake up, sleepyhead. I bought something to eat." You heard a grumble and a quiet, "5 minutes," making you smile.
"Alrighty. 5 minutes then it's up for you, hobo man." You moved to the kitchen then placed the food you bought to the table, all while humming a catchy tune you can't get off your head. You were in a good mood today. A very good mood. You hoped after eating, Shouta will be too.
True to his word, after 5 minutes Shouta - sluggishly- stood up from his spot on the couch. Raising an eyebrow as he saw your cheery self slightly dancing to the tune you were humming. The corner of his lips turned up into a small smile as he continued to watch you in your little world from the living room.
You looked so happy, so relaxed. The question was why.
"You're in a good mood today." He commented making you turn around and grin at him. Stretching your hand towards him, you invited him to dance making him shake his head.
"Oh, come on Shouta! Don't be such a killjoy! It's a nice day today!" You happily replied. Reluctantly, he held on to your arm and decided to join your antics. Minutes later, your happy dancing turned into a slow dance with you trapped in Shouta's warm arms. Looking up, you kissed his neck, his scruff slightly scratching you.
He looked down at you, amusement present in his eyes. "What's got you in this mood today?"
"Well... it's mother's day."
"And?"
"Aren't you going to greet me?" You replied, hopefully he'd get the message.
Truth was, the reason you were so giddy today was because of your appointment. Your doctor's appointment to be precise.
...
"You should skip work today." Shouta said as he held your hair back. Wiping your mouth, you agreed. You really should. You wouldn't want to throw up in the middle of a presentation ot something.
"Yeah, I should." Quickly thanking him as you finished up, you could see him watching you from afar, worry present in his eyes.
"Sho, I'm fine. It's just a stomach bug. Nothing to worry about."
"Alright. I'll be going then." After saying your goodbyes - with him hesitantly bidding you goodbye because he's worried that maybe it's not just a stomach bug - and kissing him on the cheek with the promise of calling him right away if you sense something incredibly wrong with your body, he was finally out of the door.
Suddenly, a notification from your phone can be heard throughout the room. Thinking it was Shouta-who probably left something-you immediately grabbed your phone. Instead of Shouta greeting you with a messsage, you were met with the app that tracks your period saying that you were 7 days late.
Wait, late?
Long story short, you bought a few pregnancy tests and it all came out positive. You were happy, incredibly happy but you couldn't get your hopes up yet. You needed to see a doctor before you can tell Shouta.
...
"What's the point of greeting you when you're not even a mo- oh." Shouta cut himself off in the middle of his sentence as his eyes went wide. "You're..?"
"Wow, you're one smart cookie Shou." You teased him. "But... yes. I'm pregnant." Shouta didn't react for a moment, making you scared. Did he... not want a baby? No, no. You guys talked about it before. You both agreed that eventually you'll have a kid or kids of your own. So, why was he-?
As quick as lightning, Shouta engulfed you in a hug, his face nuzzled on your neck and his arms wrapped securely around you. "We're having a kid." He mumbled, and even though his voice sounded like his usual monotone one, you knew him well enough to see the softness behind it. You wrapped your arms around his waist and hummed in reply.
"Yes, Shou. My egg and your sperm." You let out a yelp as you felt him bite your shoulder.
"You just had to ruin the moment."  Shouta sighed then released you from his hug but his hands remained on your body, specifically your tummy. "I love you."
"I love you too, Shou. Very much."

Hi there! I just found your account and I love you writing! I was wondering if you could do a bakugou x reader fantasy au? Where prince bakugou goes to a small village in his kingdom for a pit stop while on a quest but meets the reader who's a poor butcher's daughter that doesn't know who he is and doesn't really care either but really wants to go on a quest and begs him to let her travel with him in exchange for being a chef. Thank you so much!!💞💕💗 ⁽⁽ଘ( ˊᵕˋ )ଓ⁾⁾┌(★o☆)┘
ANNOYING — B. KATSUKI
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry if this took a long time to be published! I went off tumblr for a while due to personal issues but now I'm back! Hope you like this!
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED (for now)
WARNINGS: Language LMAO but its Bakugo so what do we expect. Also this is not beta read!
WORD COUNT: 1955
Not everyday you have the privilage to meet the prince. The heir to the kingdom's throne. The second most respected man in the whole entire kingdom.
And not everyday you get to mistake him as a thief either.
Not that you care about his title, really. You believe that all men are created equal, regardless of their social standings, heirarchy and whatnot. Thus, you didn't really care about the prince and the royal family that much to ever know about them. Not even their faces, nor names.
So, it wasn't a surprise that it will cause you your possible demise.
You see, the day started nice. You went out to do some deliveries, met some nice people on the road who bought half of the meat your father had cut, and to top it all off the farmer was kind enough to give you extra rootcrops as a sign of gratitude to you and your father. It was a great day all in all. Until, the knights came.
Along with the explosive prince.
Murmurs began to start as you headed back to your father's stall in the market after a long day of delivery work. Even though you didn't mean to eavesdrop — it was kind of hard not to, considering how their volumes were — you caught the words: arrogant, self-centered, short-tempered. And later you found out those words described the prince.
"He must be a nincompoop then. To get such a reputation from the people in town, he must have done some... questionable things." You said to yourself. Too engrosed in your thoughts, you bumped into a red-headed knight. You bowed immediately while apologizing then excused yourself, you didn't really want to interact with knights today. All you wanted to do was cook a hearty meal for your stubborn father, read a book by the fireplace after a bath, and relax.
But all those plans seem to be quickly washed away when you saw an ash blond quietly steal from your father. You were gonna let it slide, thinking that maybe it was for a good cause.
That is until you realized, the man stole a prime cut.
As if a switch was flicked, you quickly ran towards the direction the man headed to. Spotting him from afar, you ran as fast as you can and knocked the man into the ground, shocking the people around you.
"Give it back." You sternly commanded the man. "Give back the meat you stole from my father."
The man scoffed at your 'accusations' and tried to wiggle his way free but your entire weight placed on top of his back made it hard to do so. "Let me fucking go. I have no idea what the actual fuck you are accusing me of."
"Oh shut it. I saw you with my own two eyes and I am very much sure that their vision is not impaired yet." His futile attempts at escaping now stopped as he tilted his head to see the scoundrel who had the audacity to knock him down and embarrass him infront of townspeople.
Of course it had to be a girl.
"Are you one of my admirers to go such lengths as accusing me of stealing from a commoner?" That comment made your eye twitch because first, you are certainly not an admirer of this prick. Two, you don't even know the guy! Three, who would admire this piece of work? And lastly, your father might be a 'commoner' but he's the best 'commoner' you could ever find! There wouldn't be a slab of ribs or a fine piece of steak on your plates if it weren't for him! And the way this asshole said 'commoner' with such distaste too! What a prick! Who the hell does he think he is?
"My prince!" The same red-headed knight you bumped into earlier shouted from afar. Your eyes widened for a second before turning back to the asshole beneath you who now has a smug grin on his face.
"Miss! Are you alright?" The knight asked while helping you get up. "Did the prince cause you any disturbances? Any problems?" It was your turn to plaster on a smug grin on your face. You saw his own falter which you made you more smug than before.
"Why yes actually, the prince caused me a slight inconvenience." The red-head sighed, taking a quick glance at the prince beside him — who couldn't stand due to pain. "The prince stole a priceless little thing from my father's stall earlier and I'd like for him to return it or better yet, pay for it." The prince was about to retort but the red-head beat him to it.
"I deeply apologize for the prince's action, miss. If it would make you happy and satisfied, I will pay for the items he stole. I will also ask for forgiveness on his behalf." Angry noises came from the prince's (beast) mouth as the red-headed knight did exactly what he told making you raise an eyebrow.
"Why are you doing it for him? Can't he do it himself?" It was amazing to see a knight easily convinced to do something a mere 'commoner' like you demanded, but you concluded that this red-headed fellow wasn't an ordinary knight. He seemed like the type that's fed up with the prince's antics, thus his demeanor towards people is filled with empathy and the usual knightly courage. But your words made him halt, and look at you as if you were from some otherworldly land.
You caught the knight mutter about something manly before the prince interrupted. "Hah?! I'm not gonna apologize to someone lower than me! You extra!" The knight sweat-dropped at the prince's words while you looked at him blankly. Wow, the rumors are true, he is an asshole.
"Well, Your Highness, this extra happened to be the one who cared for the rib who used to be a part of the cow that you stole just now. So, apologize and pay up. I don't care if you're the prince or not. Thievery is a crime, and you just committed it." The crowd begin to whisper, making the prince's eye twitch.
"Fine, you annoying extra! Give her whatever the fuck she wants!" And with that the prince stormed off. Leaving you and the red-haired knight behind. The crowd began to disperse, seeing as the scene just concluded and that the man of the hour was gone.
The knight turned to you once again and bowed. "I'm deeply sorry for my prince's actions. As he caused such an inconvenience and refuses to be accountable for his actions, I shall ensure to provide whatever compensation you need or want — within reason of course." Before you can respond, he introduces himself with a grin. "Ah! How silly of me! Chivalric knight, Kirishima Eijirou at your service."
"I appreciate your efforts, Sir Kirishima, but I just need the payment for the stolen goods." You replied with a smile, but soon your smile faltered. You had wanted to be a chef for so long and travel unknown lands to discover cuisine and cooking techniques you've never heard of before. Perhaps... is this the right time to do it?
You bit your lip as you contemplated. Should you grab this opportunity and run with it?
Seeing your hesitancy, Kirishima waited for your answer. "Actually... I have a request... I was wondering if it's possible?"
"I'm all ears, Miss."
...
"What is this extra doing here?!" Prince Bakugo exclaimed as he saw your annoying little face within his traveling party. Kirishima sighed as he explained the situation. You would join his party as a chef until you reach the capital where you will be training to be a chef under the great Lunch Rush. Bakugo was about to object when Kirishima shot him a look.
"Fine. But I'm not eating garbage cooked by a commoner!" You rolled your eyes at his demeanor. Are all royals like this?
As if reading your mind, Kirishima responds. "Don't worry. King Masaru and Queen Mitsuki are quite modest and kind."
"Then what happened to him?" You pointed to Bakugo.
"I heard that, you extra!" Fowl language followed that statement making the traveling party sigh. Oh boy, this is gonna be a painful journey.
After that, you said your goodbyes to your father, who was very emotional about the turn of events. "Be good and be brave, my sweet child. And ask for forgiveness from His Highness." Your brows were scrunched in confusion.
"Why must I do that? He was clearly in the wrong!"
"Ah... that slab of meat was a present from me to him. He once helped me round up the cows when his traveling party went by our house yesterday. The slab of priceless meat was a token of appreciation for his kind gesture. So, do apologize for your actions, ok?" The information you just heard astounded you, making you speechless. Guilt pooled in your stomach as you promised your father that you will apologize to the prince. And with a final promise of coming home as a renowned chef, you parted ways.
The journey started rough. The prince refused to eat anything you made at all. His stubbornness knows no bounds and his overall demeanor towards you was not pleasant, which you understood as the scene you caused was a total misunderstanding on your part. The only upside was the traveling party greatly enjoyed your meals, and some even gave you recipes from different places and suggestions of destinations that you'll surely enjoy to explore! Overall, it went smoothly.
That is, until the prince became sick.
The doctors in your traveling party asked you to concoct different meals suited to His Highness, You had to stop at a village in order to ensure Prince Bakugo's speedy recovery. And one day, you were assigned to deliver his meals to him personally.
"Prince Bakugo?" You knocked on the door, and as expected, not a response came from the prince. You sighed and slowly opened the door, cautiously stepping in so you won't wake Bakugo up or spill the contents of the bowl you held.
"Go away, you extra." He grumbled, but his rough voice was replaced with a weak ome due to his illness.
"Look, I know you won't eat my meals but you need to eat. You can't recover from this if your body doesn't have the nutrients it needs to fight back this illness." You huffed. "And... besides, consider this as my way of making up to you."
"What the heck are you talking about?"
"My father told me about it. I'm sorry for mistaking you for a thief. I tried to apologize to you on several occasions but you angrily push me away every time I do. So, I figured this might be the right timing since you know... you aren't your usual aggressive self." You scratched your nape in embarrassment. "Besides, if there's something I learned while traveling with you is that you're a big softie inside. You might act rough and is shard on the edges, you're actually kind-hearted and caring. Uh... anyways. Please make sure to eat your meal, Prince Bakugo."
Before you can exit the room, you heard him say, "Annoying extra." But the usual hostility behind those words wasn't there. You might just be assuming it or imagining it, but those words almost sounded... fond.
With a shake of your head, you left the room.
Later that day, you found the bowl to be empty and outside of his room. Along with it was a note that read, "Don't fucking tell me what to do, you annoying extra."

I'm walkin' in time again, but nothing changes. Even though they say time makes things better, even though they say it remains a good memory... I wish time would heal me.

Tumblr media
Ojiro was a hardworking man. Though, he was borderline workaholic. Nevertheless, Ojiro was a hardworking man. He never skipped a day nor took an extra day off. He never submitted a project, files, or a proposal past the deadline, if ever he always submitted them 2 or 3 days prior. He never disobeyed orders from his boss nor made them angry. All in all, he was the perfect little employee. Polite, hardworking, diligent, neat, he was the best.
But, despite working hard, Ojiro was alone. No family, no friends, no significant other. His family had their own lives to take care of, he never really stayed in touch with his friends, and why would he look for a significant other when he couldn't even take care of himself?
He never had the time to look for or take care of a special someone. Never had the time to go on dates. Never had the time to live the life he was blessed with. All of his time was dedicated to work.
Work. Work. Work.
He worked hard and that's what had gotten him killed.
On a friday, Ojiro Mashirao was announced dead due to overworking. At first, his coworkers thought he just lost consciousness, but when they couldn't hear the beating of his heart, that's when they knew he was dead. They immediatly called an ambulance but it was too late. He was too far gone. He was too tired to even notice the dull ache and pain all over his body. He was too stressed to take care of himself. Too focused. Too engrossed.
That friday, Ojiro watched it all from the side. The way his body was carried away to a nearby hospital. The way the doctors tried their best but failed anyways. He watched it all. He watched it all in agony.
In that time he realized how precious time was. He realized how much things he could've done, how many things he could've said, how wise he could've spent his time, but it was too late. He was dead. And once death came knocking on your door, there was no turning back.
The flatline kept staring at him as he looked down on his body. Tears slowly streaming down on his face. He was too late.
"Ojiro-san?" A voice snapped him out of his grief. He quickly wiped his tears as he faced the direction of where the voice came from.
There stood a figure, all clad in black. Emotionless and looking tired, more so than him.
'Must be a grim reaper.' He thought.
'"Ojiro-san. It's time to go." The figure offered their hand to him in a graceful way. He reluctantly placed his hand on top of theirs and let the figure lead the way.
Go where exactly? Heaven?
As if reading Ojiro's thoughts, the figure immediately replied, "It's time to go to the Underworld, Ojiro-san."
Tumblr media
Eyes flicking through the souls who just entered the Underworld, you let out a bored yawn. Being the Goddess of Death has its perks sure but the work that came with it? You'd rather go to a meeting with your siblings than power through this job. And that's saying a lot about how boring this job is.
"Y/n-sama." An assistant of yours called you out, making you more alert than ever. "You're sleeping on the job again."
"If you were in my shoes, you would do the same. This job is tiring and boring at the same time. Now I know why a lot of Gods and Goddesses avoided this responsibility." You replied as you continued to filter out the 'good' and the 'bad' souls. 'Good' souls, contrary to popular belief, doesn't go to heaven. They get a 'special' spot in the Underworld and has the choice to work for you, to just live in the Underworld, or be reborn — if they haven't used all of their lives yet. The 'bad' ones though, also gets a 'special' spot in the Underworld. It's where they repent for their sins and pay for all the bad choices they have made in life.
"If only you had a King to rule beside you, Y/n-sama. Only then, would your workload and your life would lighten."
"You know how I feel about other Gods." You replied, your face and voice full of disgust. Other Gods — some of them anyways — were disgusting. They often abusing their power to feed their greed, and committing the same sins humans repent for in the Underworld. What a bunch of pigs.
"Oh no, Y/n-sama. I'm not talking about a God. A human." Your assistant corrected. "Well, it's just a silly suggestion anyways. It's almost time for a break, Y/n-sama. Care for tea?"
"Coffee, please." You answered. "Would you mind getting me some biscuits on the way too?"
"I'll get to it right away, Y/n-sama." And with that, you were left alone again.
After a while, your mind drifted back to what your assistant suggested. A human? For a king? How foolish. You certainly couldn't imagine ruling beside one. Most humans were impure, but then again... so were some of the Gods. But still, you had doubts about them.
Besides, you're not really looking for someone right now, other than someone to help you lighten your workload.
That was you thought until a certain someone caught your eye.
The human was very simple. In human terms, 'a basic bitch'. He doesn't stand out at all. There wasn't special about him either. Well other than the fact that he was very very very hardworking.
You smirked as you dialed the phone, perhaps, your assistant's suggestion wasn't foolish at all.
"Hello? Yes, get me the soul that Reaper 110831 brought in. Right away."
Tumblr media
Ojiro was taken aback when the reaper that was escorting him suddenly changed paths. The reaper looked shocked, nervous even, so Ojiro didn't ask any questions.
Prior to the change, Ojiro was informed about everything he needed to know while in the Underworld. He was given the opportunity to choose between wanting to work — he was slowly despising the word as time passes by — for the Goddess of Death, to just live in the Underworld as peaceful, law abiding citizen, or to be reborn. Unfortunately for him though, he supposedly used all of his lives before, therefore he can't be reborn anymore.
If he chose to work for you, the Queen of the Underworld, the Goddess of Death, the compensation was generous. A lot more than minimum wage. In fact, it's not even close to minimum wage. You get a lot of benefits from it too, like having the ability to visit Heaven — if permitted of course. If he chose to live as a simple citizen, he would be given what he needs every month like allowance, a new set of clothes and etc. but that was it. No special benefit from it.
Ojiro's inner workaholic's leaning towards the work option.
Shaking his head, he studied his environment. His surroundings look like what a city would look like. Not exactly what he expected from the Underworld. He expected things like maybe, fire everywhere? Eternal suffering? Not this... highly advanced and economically stable place.
It was definitely a surprise to see how nice Underworld is. It wasn't cold, he could see families and people everywhere enjoying their day, it was... comfortingly warm. It was like a home. A home for the dead.
It's a nice surprise, indeed.
They soon approached a large building. It looked like it was a headquarters of something.
"110831, you've arrived early as expected."
On the top floor of the building, your assistant sweatdropped at what you just informed them.
"Y/n-sama, please don't take what I said seriously. It was just—"
"Oh hush. It's been decided. Besides if the human tries anything, I'll purge his soul immediately." Your assistant gulped at the deadly tone of your voice which greatly contrasted your smiling face. Later, you heard the doors open, letting in the human you saw earlier.
"Welcome, Ojiro Mashirao. I'm L/n Y/n, the Goddess of Death. Mind if we have a little chat?"

Aizawa Shouta was known to be uncaring, totally cold. He was usually described to be ruthless. Well, who wouldn’t call him ruthless after hearing that he once expelled a whole class of heroes-in-training?
But that was their Aizawa Shouta. Their perspective. Your Aizawa Shouta was the complete opposite. Soft, warm, caring.
Sure, he was such a hardass. Sure, he was scary as hell. But that was just the Aizawa Shouta on the outside. The surface. The face he lets strangers see.
Not to you, though. You knew Aizawa Shouta inside and out. You two can read each other like an open book. You two share a deeper connection with each other that might shock others.
To you, Aizawa Shouta was your lover. Your partner. Your husband.
Aizawa wasn’t a very expressive man. He sometimes has trouble expressing his self to other people. Even with you, the person he let pass all the walls he built up, if was sometimes frustrating. He just wants to say how he feels, how hard can that be?
...Very hard.
But it was ok, because although he has troubles expressing it, you know he loves you. You know because his eyes always tell.
You could feel the love when his eyes soften at a simple glance of you in the halls of U.A. You could feel the intensity of his gaze, the fire in his eyes everytime the two of you are alone. You could see the warmth, the happiness in those onyx orbs of his that made you wanna drown in them forever.
Whatever Aizawa wanted to say, his eyes would always tell it for him and right now, those eyes of his were telling you to hang on. Telling you to not leave him alone.
It was supposed to be a simple stakeout. It was supposed to be an information gathering mission. The risk of you guys getting hurt wasn’t supposed to be high.
And yet, it wasn’t.
Everything went by in a blur. You could remember wrapping some villains up in vines then knocking someone up with a gas from one of your plants. The next second, you blinked.
Bang.
Bang.
Bang.
Pain.
The ringing of your ears.
It all happened so fast.
You took the hit for him.
Blood was quickly pouring out of your wounds as you fell onto the ground. In the corner of your eye, you see Aizawa fighting the rest of the villains. He saw you get hurt because upon observation you noted that he wasn’t holding back anymore. He now intended to give them a hard time and beat the hell out of them.
You tried to get up, tried to help him, but failed. All you could feel was pain. So much pain. You could feel your body shutting down, your brain screaming for you to close your eyes. But you couldn’t. Because Aizawa’s eyes was screaming for you to fight. To not give up.
“Open your eyes, Y/n.” Aizawa ordered you as he cradled your body. His cold hand cupped your cheek making you look at him.
He looked... devastated.
Never in your life you expected Aizawa to lose his composure. Never in your life you expected Aizawa borderline crying as you struggled to keep your eyes open.
Never in your life, you had seen Aizawa so broken like this.
“I... will...” You sent him a small smile which looked strained. It didn’t comfort him.
“Don’t fall asleep on me.” The hand on your cheek became intertwined with yours.
“But... you do it to me all t-the time.” You retorted. Lifting your hand to cup his cheek, you slowly wiped off the tears that fell from his eyes. “Don’t cry, Shouta.”
“I won’t, if you promise to stay awake for me.” His voice sounded small, lacking the usual monotone he had. You heard his voice crack at the end of his sentence, making you frown. He was scared. Scared to lose the love of his life. The light that guided him through the dark. The goddess that helped him be the person he is today. The first person to believe in him, cheer for him, love him.
He was scared to lose you.
“I promise.”
“Hold on for me, Y/n. Help is on the way.” Aizawa helped you stayed awake despite the fact that you were quickly losing consciousness and blood. Everytime your eyes would close, he’d squeeze your hand and start talking, distracting you from the pain and the fight you were losing. Everytime, you’d try your best to stay awake, responding to the things he’d randomly say. And finally, after what felt like eternity, the sirens of the ambulance was heard in the distance.
“Help’s here, Y/n. You’re gonna be ok.” You sure hoped that, that would be the case because as much as the risk of being a pro-hero is high which made you mentally prepared for death, you don’t want to leave his side yet. You wanted to be with him longer. The grow old with you kind of long. You still wanted to see what the future has in store for the both of you. You still wanted to see him, touch him.
You still wanted to hear what his eyes wanted to say.
You feel your body being lifted and then the next thing you knew, you blacked out.
Tumblr media
When you woke up, you could feel a heavy thing resting on your left side of the bed. Glancing to your left, you saw Aizawa sleeping while resting his hand on top of yours. His entire face screamed stress and sleep-deprived which made you worry.
Sensing the movements you made, Aizawa woke up. His eyes immediately making contact with yours.
He felt relieved. He was relieved. Aizawa Shouta wasn’t a religious man but right now he was thanking the Gods that you were now awake and safe.
“I—”
“I know.” You cut him off with your hoarse voice. It was difficult to speak especially with your throat as dry as a desert but you didn’t mind. “I know.”
Aizawa carefully wrapped you in a hug. “Don’t do that again.”
“I won’t.” You slowly reciprocated the hug as you felt Aizawa’s arms around you tighten a little bit. “I promise.”
“Good, because I don’t know what I would do without you.” Your heart melted at his words as you closed your eyes, savoring the moment. You savored the feeling of his arms around your frame, his voice reaching your ears, the beating of his heart. You savored it with him. “I love you.”
“I know, Shouta.” You always have known because his eyes always told you so. “I love you too.”
