Kenobi theory

SPOILERS FOR KENOBI 1-6

Ok so me and my bf were watching someone reviewing the last ep of Kenobi and he made a point that got us thinking.

In the last fight between obi wan and vader, kenobi cuts off part of his mask and has an emotional scene, which this guy complained because it was a rip off of the rebels fight with ahsoka and vader (thats not the point of this post though)

so we started thinking, and i think we have come to an agreement as to why this happened again, since vader is infamous for killing full battalions and not batting an eye.

We think that, during these two fights, he let the mask get cut.

By looking the most important people in his life in the eyes, he's determining whether or not he should or could go back to the light side.

The Kenobi show further proves this because of the lighting choice. Star Wars movies have always been infamous for their strong use of colors and lighting, especially in the newer releases.

In that fight scene, when the mask is first cut, all of the lighting on vaders face was the blue light of kenobi's saber. and it changes between red and blue, then ending with red at the end of the fight.

Its like he is further solidifying that he made the right choice. each one of these important fights were choosing to fall to the dark side, killing anakin even more.

I HAVE A QUESTION

OK

So I've had this thought for a while, but after rewatching "Battle Scars" (again) I REALY noticed it this time.

I might as well put a spoiler warning for the Bad Batch, Im sure everyone who has wanted to watch it has watched it, but I will put it here anyway.

In the Battle Scars episode, for a recap, The boys and Rex travel to Bracca to remove their inhibitor chip, and Wrecker's chip activates and he attacks the deserting clones (rest of the batch + Rex).

At one point, Wrecker and Hunter are fighting 1 v 1 after Wrecker had incapacitated the rest of the clones. Eventually, Wrecker gets the upper hand against Hunter and tells him all deserting clones must be terminated. Omega comes in clutch and shots close to Wrecker's head, taking his attention off Hunter and on to her.

Now HERE is where I have an issue. WHY DID WRECKER TURN ON OMEGA?!

He could have EASILY finished Hunter off and then went on to attack Omega, but he doesn't. He just goes straight after Omega, but WHY.

Order 66 was ONLY to be carried out against deserting clones, Jedi, and any other user/individual that Sidious saw as a threat to his reign or someone who could possibly take Vader away from him (Ahsoka for example). Clones under the effects of Order 66 aren't in control of their actions, we see this with Tup in the Clone Wars and with Crosshair at the beginning of the series.

They ONLY went after the people they were told to go against. So WHY would he go after Omega? He could have ignored her. She's not at threat to him at all.

This is why I feel there is SO much more to Omega than we know about. Was she created only by the Kaminoans and someone found out and added her to the list? Did the Kaminoans themselves add her to the list if she deserted? WHY is she so important that she had to be added to the list? Why would Wrecker prioritize attacking her over their brothers?

I hope all this shit gets explained later cause my theory brain is a rumblin.
