PR-5 Projecting Hands
The arms gesticulate outward and forward, in chopping motions with decisive stops. The arms fill the space in front of them and assert onto the environment. The gesture will often come to a conclusive, angular halt and be accompanied by an emphasis in articulation.

Research has shown that parts of the brain associated with speech and motor functioning are both active during gesticulation. Language processing and motor system activation are bidirectionally interconnected, such that speech begets gestures in an automatic fashion. As Je is the Articulator function, the production of hand gestures is therefore an inevitable result of its information metabolism.
When Projecting Hands is occurring, the person is outwardly embodying the general outlines of their ideas using gesture shapes and vectors. These vectors not only help with communication so that others understand the contents of their speech, but they also assist in the very production of the words themselves, as the brain generates its cognitive syntax more easily when activating the limbs in a way that roughly reflects the "shape" of the action-words being strung into sentences.

PR-4 Fluent Articulation
The person's articulation avalanches forward without intermissions, often drowning out other voices. There is a minimum number of halts, pauses or filler words used.
youtube
Judgment operates by crafting ideal mental representations of objects, clearly distinguishing them from one another. For Je, these distinctions form a kind of syntax, inherently generating a linguistic expression from them. As such, a highly Fluent Articulation emerges naturally from Je's ability to stream together delineated symbolic objects, such as words, into logical sequences, like sentences, to convey causal information and actionable meanings.

PR-3 Shoulder Shrugs
One or both shoulders are raised upwards, in a protective manner, before falling back down quickly.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
As mentioned with Rigid Posture, Judgment creates a baseline bodily tension corresponding to a need for physical and cognitive control. With Shoulder Shrugs, the upper body tenses even further, before relaxing, showing a temporary and acute presence of Judgment, and positional defensiveness.
As with Head Shakes, this signal implies a cognitive negation. While Head Shakes may have their vestigial origins in the instinct of infants to avoid food, the raising of the shoulders up can be thought of as a means to physically protect oneself from threats; an instinct which is now extended even to conceptual threats or ideas. Thus, it similarly reveals a cognition that is actively showing disapproval of something, judging a given idea as being opposite to their convictions and positions.

PR-2 Head Shakes
The head jitters left to right rapidly while looking forward, as an emphasis of articulation. The head will also drill itself forward slightly in the process.

Rigidity manifests in linear movements of the head, arms and body, as an expression of its linear rationality and decisive convictions. To clarify, previously we mentioned that Horizontal Movements are associated with Fluidity, and while Head Shakes technically exist on the horizontal axis, they do not glide across it.
The head yaws from the tip of the spine, without actually moving or gliding across the horizontal plane itself. As such, during Head Shakes, the person maintains a fixed positional rigidity, emerging from their ideal boundary protection. From this rigid place, Head Shakes function as another avenue of linear-vector expressivity, conveying resolve and finality.
Speculations also exist that Head Shakes may be more innately associated with cognitive rejection or what we may call "negative" judgments, while Head Pushes may indicate more "affirmative" judgments - both of which are essential to the overall role of judgment in distinguishing right from wrong, true from false, or approval from disapproval.

PR-1 Head Pushes
The person will nod their head and push it forward as an emphasis of articulation. These head juts may be brief and jittery, or long and accentuated. In each case, there is a sharp, angular halt at the end of each head nod, as if sinking a shovel in the ground.

As with Vertical Movements, the up and down strikes of the head are a physical embodiment of the assertion "This is my ground, the exact spot where I stand," effectively "nailing down" their ideas with precise conceptual boundaries. Additionally, the "pushing" of the head forward mirrors their cognitive desire to conceptually "move" the outer world into alignment with their positions and arguments.

F-5 Subordinate Rigidity
This signal occurs when Rigidity and Fluidity are both present in the body, but Fluidity remains the dominant force, while Rigidity is subordinate and supplemental. The primarily Fluid individual expresses J signals such as Projecting Hands and Head Pushes, however, these gestures fail to land crisply and decisively, and instead land with a level of smoothness and with rounded stops.

This signal emerges from a Perception-heavy person attempting to integrate some J order/structure into their otherwise fluid thoughts or views. It represents a "solidifying" of conceptual boundaries and the development of linear rationality. Nevertheless, they fail to fully solidify their cognition into one definite framework. In these moments, the assertions they articulate still hold a level of openness to them, existing as momentary linguistic crystallizations of an otherwise language-less experiential reality.

F-4 Horizontal Movements
The hands are generally restrained to a given horizontal range, not often going too far up or too far down. They move primarily side to side with minor up and down movement.

On Earth, perceptual landscapes are innately horizontal. Thus, as cognition was designed to meet the world's reality, P's landscape navigation is also an exercise in horizontal positional navigation. The movement of the hands across a horizontal axis is reflective of cognitive breadth and expanse, rather than precise positional delineation. As the hands traverse a broad scope of physical space, so too does the mind encompassing a wider tapestry and informational context.

F-3 Gliding Movements
The body's movements are continually gliding in a low-level way, leaning and sliding from side to side as the person talks, never coming to complete halts. Each movement leads into the next in a rhythmic fashion, without notable seams between the motions.
Note: Gliding Movements is a core P signal, the subsets of which are Pi Inertial Energy (when slowed), Pe Bubbling Momentum (when rapid/restless), and Pe Body Swaying (when augmented and exaggerated).

As the body transitions from one state to another without definite halts or stops, this is corporeally reflective of the way Perception is woven together holistically, as a stream of consciousness, and does not axiomatically delineate between contents using ideal boundaries. One dataset leads to another, and another, causing the body to glide across them - whether they are specific details (S) or correlations (N).

F-2 Eye Centric
The eyes carry the head and torso with them, as they move about. Whether immediately (Gr) or with a delay (Su), the eyes drag the head in their direction when they toggle, and the body is subtly dragged along with the eyes/head as well.

This signal reveals a dominating influence of Perception over the body, and therefore also over cognition. When cognitive exploration occurs, either proactively (Pe) or reactively (Pi), the effect is so immense that the entire body's location is also moved in that optical trajectory. Like being carried away by a river, the mind and body are flowing and riffing together through a perceptual landscape.

F-1 Fluid Posture
The neck remains loose, with the head tilting to the sides, while the spine is relaxed with the torso sagging off to the sides. When we speak of just Fluid Posture in isolation, without overlapping with Gliding Movements or any other part of the P signal cluster, then we speak of only the spine being loose, causing the aforementioned head tilting and torso sagging.

The spine remains loose as a visible reflection of the fluidity of their mind. The body is not tensely defending its "territory" or in a state of bodily and conceptual control or anchorage. Instead, the body is overall receptive and flexible, reflecting a receptiveness of consciousness to different explorations or interpretations of information. Their psychology is actively avoiding any sort of absolute closure or fixation on belief. And although specific beliefs may be articulated, they are not ideologically fixated on them, but express them as their current interpretations of their experiential world.

R-5 Subordinate Fluidity
This signal occurs when Rigidity and Fluidity are both present in the body, but Rigidity remains the dominant force while Fluidity is subordinate and supplemental. The head, arms and body may swerve along the way, but ultimately land their hits with decisive punctuations and finality. The decisiveness of the person's Punctuated Motions and Vertical Movements remains consistent, while Gliding Movements and Horizontal gestures fail to smooth-over the decisive hits of Judgment.

This signal emerges from a Judgment-heavy person who is attempting to integrate some perceptual flow or spontaneity into their otherwise rigid thoughts or views. It represents a "loosening" of conceptual boundaries and linear rationality. Nevertheless, it fails to fully let loose the constraints Judgment has over the body, as the person still lands decisively on a few stances, and will still hold a definite view.
