Eddie wasn't the type to feel anxious in the face of storms. He wasn't the superstitious type like Chimney, worried about external forces like jinxes or omens. Today was different. With a brutal lightning storm descending upon Los Angeles, entering the fire house felt different. As the day progressed and the storm intensified, he found himself leering warily at their equipment and the ladders. He tried to internally remind himself that lightning strikes were one in a million, and that the high rises around them would attract a strike before any human would. He couldn't deny that the worry was present, however.

And it would turn out he had reason to worry.

i'm rewatching 911 to get some more incorrect screencaps and

eddie is so scared of the kids that he backs into a balloon tower and scares the hell out of himself

then proceeds to go full akimbo on the balloon tower- as hen and athena are speaking you can hear him popping them occasionally as he slow motion stabs them before getting himself stuck in the middle of them waving his knife around

then the officer cuffs him and takes his knife away to keep him safe because he's jumping around and freaking out as buck and hen are being 'arrested' so he then starts crying

god this scene is my favourite
