Update on this the cake turned out nice but I did end up taking an even more evil EVENING NAP. I texted my mom and said I got cozy and needed help not falling asleep and she responded 30 minutes later that I was "already too cozy" when she got the text (I was already alseep)

Another AO3 app that's pretending to be official when it's not (or at least isn't making it clear its unofficial.) They're using AO3's name and logo, and embedding ads.

There is no official AO3 app

Someone else is gathering your data, potentially your log in information etc and making use of it how they please. (They say they're not but their privacy policy says otherwise)

They are making money from the ads without the fic writer's consent.

They've also rated it Pegi 3 (which is ludicrous)

Please, even if you care about nothing else, for the safety of your data, please don't use this app. Certainly don't give it your AO3 log in details.

I've told AO3 that it's infringing on its copyright. I will be requesting they remove access of my work as I do not consent to my creative content being used to generate ad revenue for them.

I will be reporting it as incorrectly rated.

I finally watched The Old Guard and tumblr did not adequately prepare me for how funny the van kiss scene actually is. Like I've seen whole gif sets of Joe's impromptu love poem but that's not the half of it.

people say folks with adhd struggle with "delayed rewards" aka long term goals and as such we tend to focus more on short term rewards. what they don't talk about is that at when we Do accomplish long term goals we don't actually feel anything proportionate to the amount of work we did to achieve it. In my head I suffered for a while and then money spontaneously appeared in my bank account.

#ive been working on a kind of scaled reward system recently #where i start with the little treat like a coffee that makes me actually start the tasks #then i get an end of day reward that im not allowed access to until the days tasks have been completed #this is usually watching a show or playing a game #these two help me with procrastination #then the final treat is a Big Treat. i get the Big Treat for things like finishing out the whole semester #it gives me something much more solid to work towards than 'degree that gets me a job that gets me money that gets me a place to live etc' #for the end of this school year my parents pitched in my birthday money to help me buy a lego set i wanted #and i was NOT allowed to even open it until i finished my last exam #i related this to my therapist and he told me its actually a really solid plan #now granted im really lucky to be able to AFFORD the coffee all the time and big lego set (thanks grant money intended tor cost of living!) #but your rewards dont actually need to be expensive. they just need to be motivating to you personally #not yr #mental health #adhd
