One thing that’s been scaring me though is if they do end up having Ray reach a deep point and try to unalive himself again I’ve been so scared of it we have seen him try twice (one where mew saves him the second time sand saves him) I’m scared that after the whole therapy session when he’s talking to sand and then him seeing sand with his ex would really just end up pushing him to that point again which I’m hoping we won’t see I just want to see Ray happy and healthy I don’t want to see him go even lower than he’s already am if sand does take his ex back I want the creators to write Ray reacting in a more healthy way I’m hoping that he continues with therapy, that he continues with rehab Ray has the strength and the power to get clean but he has to do it for himself and not for sand I’m excited for the last two episodes I’m praying to see Ray in a healthy way I just want him to love himself

People finally paying attention to rays pain after episode 10 actually makes me happy because from the start till now yall were attacking him and only caring about sands feelings yall were watching without seeing that he’s broken, that he’s someone who’s used to people leaving him, not caring about him, only wanting him for his money, his dad is never around . His friends are the worst to him like u would act the same also if u had childhood trauma along with an addiction to drugs and alcohol was it right for the stuff he’s done? No and Ray knows that but Ray does these things because he doesn’t want people to get too close to him he knows sooner or later if he opens his heart to them then they will leave him just like his mom him being mad at sand when he thought he was only being there for him because he made a deal with his dad made sense because again he’s used to people only wanting him for his money

His mind isn’t healthy he can never see his worth, he can never see when someone genuinely cares for him and that’s why he realizes afterwards that he was wrong like anyone who watches his therapy part of the episode and not understand him literally are the problem because there’s people just like Ray in the real world who can’t help their addiction but also who just want to be love but can’t help but feel they are unlovable so they make mistakes and they say stupid things because if u see the real them there’s a big chance u will leave and that’s scares them so I understand Ray and I see Ray

Now if sand really do decide to get back with his ex I hope it shows ray his words really can hurt someone even if he said them out of anger even if he said those as a way of protecting himself and I also hope instead of pushing him deeper into addiction it makes him want to get clean and get better

I would love to see Ray with sand because u can tell he truly loves him (no matter what y’all say he does) but if he doesn’t end up with him I just hope to see Ray happy and healthy at the end of this show without that horrible friend group who always made him feel like crap and that he’s in a better place with his dad

No because I loved your answer I’m just happy to see someone see Ray like how I do he’s not a monster like the fandom keeps trying to make him out to be he’s just a damaged soul I believe he loves sand but doesn’t know how to love he just needs to love himself and realize he deserves to be love he has so much room for improvement also I feel like no one understands what an addict goes through Ray is suffering and he needs help he needs to get help but that just makes him human and flawed and I love him I hope we get to see Ray in a healthier mindset and place at the end of the show

The thing with Ray I don't understand, Ray thinks of himself as a burden, because he is neglected by his father, made fun of by his friends, and hasn't dealt and grieved entirely with his mother's passing, but when someone shows up respecting him, being real friends with him, looks after him, cares for him, how does Ray react?

Throws him to the curb multiple times physically and metaphorically, and seemingly makes mockery of his affections over and over again, uses his kindness blatantly, shamelessly...

And after repeatedly watching this, I'm supposed to excuse it all and say well, this is all because Ray has addiction and mental health issues?? He is deliberately this cruel because he suffers from abandonment issues, and that he is actually, subconsciously in love with Sand.

I don't think Ray is even capable of understanding the concept of love right now. He doesn't love Sand, not really, it's more of something that makes him feel good, and momentarily distracts him, just like his drinks and drugs. The double standards in Ray's actions boggle my mind, and I fail to excuse them just because he is addicted and hates himself.

Because Ray has no idea what a healthy relationship looks like. How is Ray supposed to react? He has no idea how to react.

You don't have to excuse it.

You can just let me enjoy it.

I don't have any arguments here or any more analysis to write. I discuss how flawed Ray is and I fully acknowledge it but I also enjoy it and I believe he is capable of love and is in love, he's just badly damaged.

Am I the only one who feels the reason why Ray likes mew is because he’s the only one who seems to care about Ray? For me Ray might be bratty but I feel like he’s misunderstood, that’s he’s lonely and depressed he doesn’t understand his place in this world he said it himself he was only good at spending money like yes paying people to spend time with u is bad but it’s cause he can’t get anyone to if money isn’t involved and I feel like he uses money and liquor addiction to hide what’s really hurting him which is him being lonely not really having someone to comfort him even his own friends call him a burden instead of understanding why he drinks so much like why does he feel the need to always be drunk? Why does he feel the need to use his wealth to get people to help him, to spend time with him? It’s just so much more that we are missing!, Now I do think Ray does have a crush on mew but again I think it’s really due to him being attached to him he seems to be the only that always cared for Ray when he was drunk but now Ray has sand and that worries me sand seems to be someone that can really be the one for Ray, the one that shows him he isn’t a burden, that he’s worth so much more and that he can do so much more than
