The Star vs team put so much setup into Tomco only to make Starco canon and I'm still upset by this

Like the season 1 scene where it feels like a break up while they sing Too Little Too Late followed by the season 4 scene where they sing it as friends, their entire relationship in season 1 was giving enemies to lovers, that one scene in like season 3 or season 4 where Tom says to Marco that he wants to be with someone who could be his best friend and proceeds to call Marco his best friend in the same breath.

Hi! If you didn't know, I write fanfiction. At the moment I am kind of overwhelmed with all the ideas and already started projects that have been on hiatus for like ever. Uh yes, for the record I write on Quotev. I have always wrote on Quotev. Sometimes I post it cross-platform on here or Ao3 or very rarely Wattpad (but I am not the biggest fan of Wattpad, nothing wrong with it but the community on Wattpad doesn't really click with me).

Rant about recent ex

I really wanted it to work out, I really did. Even after he made me cry. Multiple times. I told him I use they/them pronouns and neopronouns, which I told him he could find my full list on my Pronouns Page.

I kept asking if he checked the Pronouns Page but he never did. On the second follow-up he tries to pretend like he knows what Pronouns Page looks like by asking if something was under an "About Me" section which... there isn't a section called that on Pronouns Page?

He was sending me pictures of math problems because he was trying to help his friend but didn't know how to do the math. I pride myself in my math skills and have said multiple times that math is my only talent but I made a mistake so he told me I am not actually good at math. He also sent me a screenshot of the text conversation with his friend where he was referring to me with she/her pronouns... Which are not my pronouns! At the very least he does correct this, but this feels a lot worse with context of what happens later and I generally just don't want to date someone who struggles to use they/them pronouns? That's not a dis to people who do struggle but like... I would kind of like to not feel pain everytime I hear or read someone I am DATING refer to me? I also did not know him or his friend corrected themselves when they used the wrong pronouns for me until just now when I was making this post.

He referred to me as he/him pronouns to one of my friends, who called him out on it, and proceeds to lie to that friend and say I prefer he/him pronouns which is not true and I have already told him my pronouns multiple times?

When I finally confronted him on not using my pronouns, he told me that he would not even try to use my pronouns because he has difficulty learning things and bad memory so he would never understand and would just forget and it wasn't worth trying.... Bestie, I do not care how much you are struggling, if you don't even try that is more disrespectful than trying and not getting it right. Mk? How are you going to try to date me if you won't even respect me enough to atleast TRY to use my pronouns?

Why am I like this..

It feels so bad thinking about how on my side blog I promised to make a playlist for my OC (where I was going to mess with the audio myself - lots of speed changes, reverb, amalgamating) AND draw like 50 different things for it and... I never delivered. I never did it. I still have the first 3 songs edited and I was finished with the characters in the FIRST drawing but I have never gotten around to the background of it and I promised to do this a year ago.

Btw, some of the tags are for context. I don't think that I have ADHD BECAUSE of this, I just think that looking through the lens of me being someone who suspects they might have ADHD to be helpful in gaining a full understanding.
