We planned our wedding in THREE WEEKS, and we could not have done it without the perfect vendors: 1) @janepackernyc who made the most magical floral arrangements. Words are not necessary to explain how much we appreciate Hazel. She really made our dreams come true. 2) @foreverphotographyny who was so chill I was sure she got no good photos, but instead captured the beauty and relaxed energy of the day perfectly. I am so in love with the eternal memories she created for us. 3) Yukutiel at @idjewelry who insisted we have our final rings, not stand in rings, on the day of the ceremony and rushed to get them made in 2 weeks. 4) Boz’s brother, who became certified to marry us. 5) @sundayinbrooklyn for allowing us to extend the relaxed, home vibe with a private room in their beautiful brownstone restaurant. 6) @galvanbridal for making the most perfect dresses that made me feel like a modern, effortlessly eloquent bride. 7) @alteration_specialists for making alterations I didn’t think were possible, especially in 2 weeks (although we didn’t factor in me losing 10 lbs in a week. My fault! 😳) 8) Kent, NY for giving us a marriage license when NYC would not 9) Jamie @ An’jels salon who always does a perfect silk press. Wow. Writing that list just reminded me how truly lucky we are. I have been so slow to respond to emails these past couple of weeks, but now I realize why. Ryan and I went to high school together but did not know each other. There were many situations where we should have met but didn't. It wasn't until a couple years after college we connected on a dating app. After a couple dates we were both individually invited to a NYE ski weekend and both attended. We spent every weekend together after that and by the end of January boyfriend and girlfriend. Ryan moved from Hoboken to Weehawken after a couple months of dating and we decided to move in together by the end of the year. We have lived together in Weehawken now for almost 2.5 years. We added to our little family and adopted Nala last July during the pandemic. After our 3 year anniversary Ryan surprised me with a trip to Disney world (our favorite place) with my sister, her bf, and his older brother. On January 23rd he surprised me with a proposal in front of Cinderella's castle! It was the most magical day of my life.
