A few moments from my Genshin Impact adventure (I haven’t quit, I just haven't posted anything in a while).

Cleared the 3.2 Archon quest (Lumine looks badass here btw). The end of it simply helped to reassure me that I’m sticking with this game until the end.

The day afterwards, I went back to the Sanctuary of Surasthana (where the quest ended and we received a huge lore drop) and tried wishing for Nahida there. I didn’t have guaranteed, but...

I still got her! This was my first time getting an archon in a 50/50! Sadly tho, while I tried to, I was unable to get her weapon (5-star catalyst weapons seem to avoid me like the plague). Thankfully I had other options.

As I do every year during Choose Your Legends, I cast the majority of my votes for Cordelia (my favorite character from Awakening, where she is my avatar’s wife). I realize the odds of her winning this year are slim, as they are every year, but I give her my votes regardless. Maybe at least she can get a third alt sometime this year (or maybe win a voting gauntlet for once. She hasn’t even been in one since the Pegasus Knights vs Wyvern Riders one where Camilla chea... err... *ahem*... won against her).

I may throw in a vote for Anna or (Awakening)Tiki as my last votes, as I also like those characters and would be interested to see brave alts for them too.

Wait... WHAT?!?!!!! That doesn’t happen! Not to me at least.

Ok, so after first getting the Elegy of the End bow from the new weapon banner (that I didn’t get a pic of cause I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t the Staff of Homa), I did a few more ten pulls and got a second Wolf’s Gravestone. But in that same ten pull I finally got the Staff of Homa! This all happened with only 40 intertwined fates!

This is the kind of luck I only see streamers get, and it happened to me? Wow.

Now my Hu Tao (who I’ve had since her first banner btw) is complete, as far as I’m concerned at least. Sure I could go for C6 and R5 on her weapon... oh wait, no I can’t, because I have no money. It doesn’t matter, I’ll take what I can get, and she still hits like a truck, even more now than before.

Still, I’m not against at least trying for C1 on her. Worst case scenario I get guaranteed pity for the next new character, and if I get no five stars I could still get Thoma and/or constellations for Sayu (my Diona’s C6 already).

As if getting Kokomi in 50/50 wasn’t lucky enough, this morning I got Primordial Jade Cutter in a single ten pull! With absolutely no pity built up! 

I immediately gave the sword to Keqing. I’ve had her ever since 1.0 (she was my second ever 5 star character, and my first 5 star from the standard banner) and I’ve been wanting to give her a 5 star weapon for awhile now.

Unfortunately for now it is stuck at level 20 because I don’t have the stuff to upgrade it. They will be available tomorrow tho, so that will soon change.

Jeez. I had originally planned to use the money I had saved for a shot at getting the sword, but instead I just got it, for free. Now to start saving for the rerun of the Staff of Homa.

Right after finishing the second part of the Moonchase Festival, I was able to get Kokomi in 50/50! I was hoping this would happen, but I didn’t think it actually would!

I am aware that she is not that great a character in terms of the meta, but that’s not why I wanted her. I wanted her for two reasons, the first being that her playstyle is fun and unique, and the second being... well, she’s cute and I like her design and her character.

The best part is that I didn’t have to spend a dime to get her (unlike with the Shogun). Plus I also have some money to spend on the weapon banner before it ends, so I have a shot at getting either 5 star weapon (my hope is for the Jade Cutter, but I’d be ok with getting the new catalyst since I have Kokomi now).

Also, Happy Anniversary Genshin community! I look forward to experiencing more of this beautiful game in the future.

On Yoimiya’s banner I got Sayu in one 10 pull and at 40 wishes I lost the 50/50 to Diluc (who was my first ever 5-star back in 1.0 btw), who is now C3. Thankfully, my birthday is in a few days and my Dad sent me some money, so I was able to get some more wishes in before her banner ends. 

She showed up in the very next ten pull!!!

Since I still had a lot of primogems left over and more money left to use for when 2.1 comes out next week, I decided to take my chance with the weapon banner. I wasn’t very confident as I failed twice to get the newest 5-star sword from the last banner (the main reason I had to resort to using money on Yoimiya’s banner).

But by some miracle, I got the new 5-star bow Thundering Pulse!!!

The only downside here is that my mora is now dangerously low.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything here.

Around October of last year (I think), I started playing Genshin Impact on PS4. It very quickly became one of my favorite games and I still play it every day. I will say this right now; I am not F2P, nor will I ever claim that I am (not saying being F2P is bad, I’m just saying that I’ve used money). I’m not a whale tho, I doubt I’d ever be able to afford to max out any 5-star character’s constellations (barring the Traveler of course).

These Covid times have been tough. I hope everyone is staying safe.

Finally, after an entire month and a half of nothing but bad luck (My attempt at Halloween Tiki went to 6.75 pity, only to be broken by Quan of all things), I finally summon a unit I wanted! In other words, I got Ninja Lyn (and Florina)!

Ever since Mar-Mar died (no, not Marth, my kitten that shared the same name by coincidence) my good luck had turned itself upside-down and become bad luck. But hopefully with this summon, things will start to improve.

Yesterday I got a free Brave Claude from 40 summons on the CYL4 banner, and just this morning I lucked out and pulled pirate Tibarn. Soooo....

As I didn’t really care too much about keeping either of them, I gave their skills to my Cordelia (to be honest, that’s kinda the whole reason I summoned them in the first place). She was already a beast on the battlefield, but now, well...

Holy shit, I’ve created a monster.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned a kitten we were raising in one of my posts, named Mar-Mar. She was going through some digestive problems and was having diarrhea and losing weight on a frequent basis. My Mom and I thought and hoped that we could make her better, but...

Unfortunately, since then, all of her problems had spiraled out of control. She was losing far too much weight despite being fed well, and her stomach was hurting (she’d yelp whenever she was picked up) and her bottom was sore from all the diarrhea that also wouldn’t stop. She was in too much pain and nothing we were doing was working (we had tried special diets, medicine, etc.), so sadly, we had to put her down. She is currently in a box about to be buried in our backyard.

RIP Mar-Mar. We’ll miss you. :(

My free pick for Choose Your Legends round 4: Edelgard. Considering she was one of the characters I voted for at the beginning of the year, she was obviously going to be my pick. Even so, I was actually considering picking Lysithea over her for a bit, cause I really like her too. But that’s not a problem now, because...

I got her too! I had around 80 orbs saved and was able to get her using them, and with +Atk too! 

With that I’ve got both of the units I wanted from this banner (sorry Dimitri and Claude, but I’m not as into male characters. I wouldn’t say no if they showed up, but I’m not whaling for them. I’m F2P, I can’t just get every hero I want, I have to be a little picky), but within the 20 days it’s active I’m gonna try and get some merges if I’m lucky.
