sorry for the intermittent hiatus, i’ve been trying to get caught up on farm work and just as I’m about to be done, at least four things fall apart. cycle of catching up.

#sigh #i have to separate my geese from my chickens and turkeys so they can be undisturbed for this breeding season #i need to separate them mostly because the geese keep nesting with the chickens meaning they’re crushing chicken eggs lol #so i have an area further back that is gor the geese but i need to finish prefator proofing as well as dividing the geese #into breeding groups. simon my biggest goose is currently bullying shrimp my smallest goose and I cant have her too stressed #oh and we had a windstorm that took the entire roof of the chicken coop and then the door off its hinges #so i have about 5 things i need to do while working my FT job and working through leather customs #rambles

no lie i genuinely believe brands are so behind the pleather movement bc they can just buy cheap plastic sell it as expensive 'vegan leather' and be ready for you to return in a couple years to buy another 'vegan peeta approved™ leather jacket' bc they last like 5 minutes compared to the way leather lasts decades all the while you can pat yourself and coorporate's back for being sutainable all the while pvc (what some fake leather products are made of) has been labeled the single most environmentally damaging type of plastic and while there are non pvc fake leathers such as pu leather... its not like thats much better producing plastic pollutes and the second your pleather clothes start to breakdown (which happens much faster than you think) theyll wound up on landfills for at least a 100 years...

This was for a very special custom asking for a brass heart, if possible. The thing is, it’s very hard to find ready made brass heart rings??? I have no idea why.

I had been wanting to start metal fabrication so this was a great opportunity for me. Metalworking is so very complex but the range of what you can do is so rewarding.

Everything is made from real leather - no plastic! - that is veg-tanned, meaning no ecologically damaging chemicals are used in the tanning process. He makes pieces both as fashion statements for casual daily use and for BDSM / leather fetish wear. Everything can be made to order and adjusted for sizing and accessibility needs - larger sizes of any piece do not incur an upcharge, and any needed or wanted customizations are welcome and encouraged, whether it be accommodating for mobility limitations or doing a custom paintjob.

He regularly makes chest harnesses, strap-ons, and collars, but he has also done full-body sets, buckle corsets, garters, and more, and is always enthusiastic to make unique custom pieces of any kind.

This custom was so much fun! The patron gave me hex codes to color match for the green and pink. So incredibly happy with the results. I am of course still confused by color theory and its magics but I will never let that stop me :-)
