Can anyone draw me a tattoo please? I want one for good omens and I'm thinking of getting the wings and hourglass that the book uses as a pagebreak but I want two the represent both Crowley and Aziraphale. I want white angels wings either side of a red hourglass and red demon wings either side of a white hourglass but I'm not sure how to design it. If someone can draw them that'd be amazing. I would also like a snake tattoo too so if you would like to design that too it'd be greatly appreciated ☺️

I've just realised, in TSoT the stag night was Sherlock's best man speech. He said that hes cut it down to the really good bits. So the scene that we saw when John touches Sherlock's leg then says "I don't mind 🤷‍♂️" is what Sherlock counts as "the really good bits"

why are twitter users calling out the therian kittengirl who's wanted by the US government and who just leaked the US no-fly list with a ":3" for being a bi lesbian. lgbt infighters are on another level. it has 9 girlfriends and is an enemy of the state, I think it can use whatever labels it wants at this point 😭

So there’s this old German remedy for getting rid of boils. A mix of eggshells, egg whites, and sulfur rubbed into the boil while reciting the incantation and saying five Paternosters. And according to my prof’s friend (a doctor), it’s all very sensible. The eggshells abrade the skin so the sulfur can sink in and fry the boil. The egg white forms a flexible protective barrier. The incantation and prayers are important because you need to rub it in for a certain amount of time.

It’s easy to take the magic words as superstition, but they’re important.

"This," as the saying goes, "starts to look like carelessness." :/

Taking advantage of the kindness of strangers this way is vile... and plainly there's no shortage of people willing to indulge.

So: yeah, I'll be delighted to help the OP get some more traction on this! You betcha. By:

Blocking. Reporting. Reporting to PayPal as well. And dropping @staff a note, when I have a moment. Because allowing this stuff to prosper here just invites more people to try it on. :/

You've mentioned a lot that AO3 is writer-centric rather than reader-centric, which is true, but as a reader it's pretty much perfect for me.

Easily filterable tags, an interface that makes it easy to read in the browser or download, subscription features that just email me about new things I expressly asked for and nothing else. Everything is there, and no matter how weird or obscure the thing I want to read is, I don't have to jump through any hoops to find where it's hidden. And I don't have to worry about a fic I like disappearing unless the author themselves chose to delete it.

And the fact that a lot of things (tags, ratings, and spellcheck, amongst others) are left up to the author's best judgement means that the reader can fully trust the author to have presented the fic the way they wanted to present it, without any rules or obligations getting in the way.

Other sites might prioritize the reader over the writer in theory, but no other site really protects and supports readers the way AO3 does.
