Inspired by the concept of there being a pack of feral orbs unleashed upon the wilderness of Cybertron, I'd like to ask how dependant are orbs on carers?

Would they be hardy enough to survive, should that situation call for it? Or would it be like a real baby that is helpless with little survival instinct without a carer?

Asking on behalf of the murder of orbs I have contained in a plastic beer 6 pack ring. They yearn for freedom

they would be able to survive well enough up until the point they need to actually start consuming energon which is nigh impossible to find outside of places with specific licenses to offer it b/c of rationing. cybertron doesnt really have any real "wilderness" from literal billions of years of industrialization and development. the closest would be abandoned/damaged areas from the war or anywhere that is literally uninhabitable for whatever reason (and people still vacation there because cybertronians are very hard to kill) the thing is they still need like, some kind of rearing to be able to function in society. they are still children, even if cybertron doesn't really know what that means. they need affection and to be talked to and taught things and stuff they arent created 100% self sufficient.

You’ve mentioned before that the orbs are pretty heavy, being condensed metal and all. which had me wondering if any of the cyberninja s, bots who we’ve seen to be generally on the slimmer side, have ever ended up stuck on the ground because they were swarmed by little guys who all decided to take a nap on one of their caretakers at the same time, so they all stick themselves to the poor ninja at once.

size has nothing to do with it if a group of em decides they dont want you to move You Will Not Move. pictured: springer is not allowed to get up for the next three hours its dangerous to meditate near the protoforms because they like vibrations (engine rumbles, generators buzzing, and of course. Cyberninja Humming) and they will swarm.

Now let me present you my Transformers au/fan continuity, we begin with these two old men:

Lider of the autobots Optimus Prime and lider of the decepticons Megatron.

Two fractions that had been in war for centuries over the control of Cyberton, their no ending battle was the last straw for their planet to finally died out, with what is left of the cybertronians scattering across the galaxy. But the war is not over yet, in hope of bringing their once home planet back, the two fractions traveled the cosmos and arrived to earth, now looking for the All spark, the origin for all life.
