“Oh I’m choosing to be single right now” tf only pretty people can say they chose this life. Us uggos? I was forced into it! I wasn’t given this option.
Also, only pretty people get to use those stupid sayings of “it will happen when you’re least expecting it” or “when you don’t want it it will come.”
Sure. I haven’t expected anything for years now and still nothing happens. Shut up.
looking forward to finding out approximately what happens in the supernatural series finale through wildly out of context hysterical text posts here on tumblr dot com

The best surprise and best “fuck you” to stereotypes about “Korra” wasn’t the very first cartoon bisexual relationship at the end of the series (okay yes it was BUT FIRST THE BEST FUCK YOU THEY GAVE US)
It was the foreshadowing element they gave us to not trust Asami in the beginning.
The author set her up to be the perfect archetype of a “jealous girlfriend” trope that would become a villain. They have her meet one of the main characters in a weird way, they form a relationship and bond immediately afterwards, she tries to get everyone to be her friends, they go into her house, it’s all set up for her to become a jealous person and then villain.
But what happens? The exact opposite. It’s the best “fuck you” to jealous girlfriend trope, and monumental.
Go back in tumblr to when Korea FIRST premiered. (No, don’t it’s so long ago you’ll never make it.)
NO ONE liked Asami. No one trusted her. Because of preconceived stereotypes that we all expected out of a children’s show.
AND YET.
Mike and Brian has THE AUDASCITY to throw that away AND make her the romantic interest YET AGAIN.
Oscar Isaac lip biting/licking appreciation MEGA-POST!!!
More under the cut.
You’re welcome.
ETA: I added three more. You’re welcome, again.
ETA October 17, 2016: I added a bunch more. Stop having such a seductive nervous tic, Oscar. It’s causing problems.
ETA February 28, 2017: More photos added. This post has grown, much like my love for this man. I’m not sure what’s a bigger problem: his lip biting/licking tic or the fact that I obsessively collect these photos into one post.
