It's insulting towards Jgy's psychotic intelligence and paitence to wait for the correct execution of his plans if you constantly try to woobiefy him. Like that bitch waited and calculated his moves from the day he was out of his todler stage. Jgy is smart, evil yes but the man has brains, he is a politician through and through while jc is just a insecure and jealous man who throws tantrums everytime people who he thinks are inferior to him (for example wwx 🙃) don't bend themselves to accommodate his whims.

You know, I think I should stay away from mdzs Twitter for a while, after just witnessing a bunch of asinine excuse towards characters like JGY and JC. I know JC stans are a special kind of nut cases that I shouldn't be bother with them anymore, but holy shit, JGY stans are like another types of nut cases, kinda like the Ted Bundy obessions. They either bring up all JGY's misfortunes and hardships along with his so-called good deeds to justify all the atrocities against many victims while bashing WWX's "some questionable" (torture your fucking enemies who destroyed your home and threw you into hellhole is unhinged now) to prove that WWX is no better than JGY. Not to mention they called us having double standards for justify WWX's actions but not JGY's actions. It's getting worse when we pointed that their takes weren't in the novel, they liked: "I don't care what's in the novel" and "why are you guys hating JGY?". Bruh, we don't want to excuse his actions or claim "JGY did nothing wrong" no matter how sad his back stories were. What happened to JGY stans who liked him as a villian and antagonist?

It's interesting because I don't mind Jin Guangyao as a character. I think he's very convincing, does exactly what he's supposed to do in the narrative, and isn't as irritating as jiang cheng. But I had some JGY stans hop on some of my posts in the pasts and tbh they're doing their fav no favors. Often it's their treatment of him that makes ppl pissed off w the character, esp when they go bashing WWX. No matter how much one wants to pretend JGY is just a victim of circumstances... just read Villainous Friends Extra. Same w Xue Yang. And why try to make him just a misunderstood, sad boi? What's the point of running every character through the fanon trope machine until they're all identical?!??

He helped people no one else would bother to help even if there was no glory in it; he raised a Yuan into a wonderful young man; he instructed the juniors without stifling them and honored WWX's memory in that way and by never letting his grief consume him. Jc meanwhile didn't grow at all, was toxic and consumed by hate, and obsessively hunted WWX down for 13 years to kill him again even though he already led the siege that killed him.

Ok, I caveat this with I am almost never on twitter so I don't even know most of the popular "canon jc" accounts from here on there. The only accounts I recall are: @sugarbrat1204, @evilsqq. You can definitely find other accounts through them. Then glassbearer has gorgeous art and good metas.
