Hey I'm happy that Twilight is coming back but I can never get over the fact that Stephanie Meyer thought it was a good idea to write in that the werewolves have to cut their hair or else their fur would be long & shaggy to maintain.

As if most Native Americans literally don't cut our hair for spiritual reason. We literally believe it's an extension of our spirit. Its painful to cut, it's the evaqulant to cutting out your soul.

That's why we literally only do it when someone dies. Because its to show your mourning. Only to show your love and how much pain you're in.

Not all tribes do this but enough do. I literally went 3 years without cutting my hair once. Some have gone decades.

But naw turn to doggy cut hair regularly. The first set of Native actors they had literally got recasted because they refused to cut their hair. What did you THINK was gonna happen Meyer?

Notice how Booboo Stewart has always had long hair since his Twilight days?

do people forget that anastasia dualla was the one who fucking had to hear first that the cylons were back and the colonies were being attacked?

or that she was the one who put two and two together during the attacks that the cylons had cracked the colonial flight operating system, saving everyone’s asses? 

or that she was the one who coordinated laura roslin’s escape from the galactica? 

or that she was the one who called bill adama, her commanding officer and surrogate father, on his shit and told him that he was betraying them all by not keeping the fleet together and to get over his goddamn pride already?

or that she was the one who built the communications package for the blackbird? or that she was one of the people who conspired to rig the election in laura roslin’s favor? or that she was the liaison officer to the new caprican resistance? or that she was in charge of the civilians on the galactica post-exodus? or that she flew a motherfrakking raptor without any sort of flight training while rescuing her husband’s mistress? 

or that she was kind, and loving, and supportive and nonjudgmental? that she rarely complained, and always voiced her opinions, even in the face of consequence? or that she focused on keeping the family together and the possibility of home in everyone’s minds? 

apparently, since all they can focus on is that the writers clumsily inserted her into a romantic quadrangle and interrupted an otp that was doomed from the start anyway, and how dare dee want to be happy with lee adama, and lee and kara were totally happy after he separated from dee, right? and lee definitely couldn’t make his own decisions in his romantic life, so dee must be a dirty whore.
