I'm gunna get straight to the point here...

I will not be continuing the rotTMNT Universal Divide AU 😢

Why?

I've landed a job working on a sponsored webcomic series. Working on my own original comic has been a dream and I can't let this opportunity pass me by so I really need to focus on this which means I can't continue the UD AU

What does this mean for the future?

I will still post about rottmnt and TMNT crossovers in general when I have the time, but most of my art and focus will be on this webcomic.

Couldn't you have said this earlier?

Yes, I could have. But I procrastinated because I didn't know how to go about saying all this.

Will the UD AU be coming back?

Unfortunately that is highly unlikely.

What's the name of the webcomic your working on?

I'm glad you asked! It's called 55 Calibre and it's a story about learning parenthood and empathy with a father and daughter as they survive in a dystopian world. The comic isn't out yet but as soon as I have the greenlight to start advertising and giving sneak peeks of it I will!

HI IM BACK! SORRY FOR THE INACTIVITY!

As of today I just finished all of my exams and can finally focus on the Universal Divide AU! To all of you who sent asks requesting drawings/mini comics DW I SEE YOU AND I LOVE YOUR IDEAS and now that I finally have time to draw I can start working on those! Also gunna start working on the fanfic that will tell the main plot of this AU so keep your socks on for that.

(Random headcannon) if the all of the ud!turtles were ever to meet and they find out each of the adopted turtles was one of the counterparts of them, I can totally see the Bayverse!turtles initially think Leon (or whatever they name him) is Mikey’s counterpart due to the two seeming close and other Leonisms, only to be totally floored that he is actually grumpy bossy Leo’s counterpart.

I also wanted to say that I love your art and this is one of my favorite tmnt aus ever! ☺️🥰

Idk when it'll be out but I know I want to post it when I have the ability to give you guys a regular update schedule which probably won't happen till I finish all of my classes for this semester. Thank you (and everyone else who sent me similar messages) for letting me know!

TLDR: the user @/odd-in-my-own-way stole my art and the art of other talented creatives, please report them and the posts that they've stolen my art in

I checked out @/odd-in-my-own-way 's account and yes, they are stealing my art as well as the art of other talented creatives :/

I've sent them a DM (I'll show a screenshot below) warning them to remove the stolen art from their profile. They responded and changed their profile to give credit it so me but they are still posting my art without permission. I'll include a screenshot of what they say, but they claim to not have known I had a Tumblr account which like... Really? You couldn't come up with anything more creative or believable? My name is LITERALLY on every corner of the comic and those comics were ONLY posted in that quality to Tumblr and you're telling me that you got these files with the same pixel quality from somewhere else when they were exclusively posted here? Yea, sure pal, I believe you /s. Sooo yea, if you could take a moment to report them, that'd be great

Ty @muckumsing-art for the idea the Twitter concoctions are elite tonight

Casey and Raph are my favorite duo in all iterations but. The height difference between them in Rise is very silly to me. My personal hc is that WHILE ofc Casey is terrifying, Raph can’t help but occasionally find her cute simply because she’s looking up at him all the time. She could fold him at any moment obviously but that’s not relevant sometimes

So happy to see the 4th part go up of the au comic! (The Donnies interacting is precious and I love them). I think a fic would be great, but I do love the comic cause the babies are so dang cute, and seeing the interactions with the other turtles is adorable. I’m sure whatever you decide will be great, I’m just happy you are continuing the story. 😊

So it seems that the general consensus is to have a fic which focuses on the main plot of this AU while still having comic strips for cute/funny interactions, which I'm all for! That leaves the question of which set do I make a fic for first OR should the fic focus on a different set each chapter?
