Ā Ā The measures we take to be extraordinary are immense. Humans have exceeded their expectations in science and literature admirably the future generation is expected to be extraordinary and nothing less than prodigious.
We work hard every day to be superhuman, balancing work, personal social and love life at the same time, but we often forget the primary purpose of existence. Life is about living, it's a marathon, not a race. It doesn't matter whether you finish the race first, it's about how you finish it.Ā
This movie is a reminder that our lives are meant to be lived with peace, enjoying what we're offered but we never tend to see the aspects of reality. All life needs is a little purpose. It can be stargazing or bird watching or planting anything that makes you happy but we forget that and let the world decide what makes us happy and guess what the world is never happy with anything you do.
The place where the souls get lost because of anxieties and obsession leaving them lost and disconnected from the world was really scary because most of us do get wrapped up in these worldly obligations and as soon as the soul is freed by the astral travellers the human becomes ecstatic and I believe that's how weā€™re supposed to live not for the sake of existence.
No.22 refuses to go to earth because heā€™s heard all about it, as it is confusing and frightening and would rather stay in the Great before but it's exquisite when he realizes his purpose on earth and life lesson for joe because life is that simple.
I enjoyed the parts where they talk about astral projections and soul switching but also how Joe teaches no.22 to be like him in his human body.
I would wholeheartedly suggest this movie to anyone who's having an existential crisis and also if itā€™s a Tuesday xD

Would you believe me if i saidĀ  that 100 years from now there would be no discrimination over color, gender, caste or any community which is considered lower than any other.
Do we realize that someone's fight 100 years ago is the reason for our life now The freedom we relish now is someone else's sacrifice of life, time and vitality. We think the fight is territorial but it's not , there is always something or the other undermining what's supposably ours, isn't it sad to fight for something that's legally and rightfully ours this movie is a great example on why we shouldn't give up on what's rightfully ours
This movie is a reminder that giving up isn't an option especially when you're from a different color. The movie is about three black women who are hired to play the ā€œComputersā€ at NASA (a job where calculations are made) but are more than qualified and seek out to do better roles in sending the first space shuttle and succeed.
These women undergo underestimation because of their color and gender, They are refused of bathroom privileges, Katherine Goble is the first black women to work with space task group and that has its own downside, Katherine walks half a mile everyday to use a colored ladies room (restroom for black women), the day she drinks coffee out of the coffee machine is the last time everyone in the room drinks coffee from that machine and the pot gets labeled as colored .,
Mary Jackson was the first black female engineer; she started out as a ā€œcomputerā€Ā  at nasa and had to plead a case because she wanted to be an engineer and won the case to take class in an all white male engineering class which she attended during the night. If she had given up her dream to become an engineer because she wasn't allowed to, who knows women might not yet be allowed to do engineering. She fought a case that mattered and 64 years later here we are talking about the importance of being the first.
We have to ask for what's ours and it will be given to us.This movie is awed me and made me think of all the discrimination we go through at this generation we might might not face it directly, that doesnt mean it isnt there. Please watch the movie and be enlightened.
Until thenĀ

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā SPIDER-MAN: GREAT POWER GREAT RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
We all grew up watching spider man and wished weā€™d get bit by some insect or an animal and would turn out as powerful and cool as him. I always hoped that I'd get bitten by a butterfly so I could fly around and didnā€™t have to walk at all and sometimes wondered why I haven't gotten any of the bee's powers even when I've been stung a couple of times.Ā
Letā€™s start with Tobey vincent cause thatā€™s where everything began, Tobey was our peter parker, he was the first friendly neighbourhood spiderman to us, I always wondered that If Peter knew that spider bites can make people strong, why didnā€™t he give it to Aunt May? That's something that always kept me thinking.Ā
I think the reason we like Spiderman more than all the heroes is that he was someone among ordinary teens who gets incredible powers and decides to save his town. He gets hurt, he gets wounded but also never gives up.
Tumblr media
Now coming to Andrew Garfield The amazing spider was released in 2012 I was a teen back then and thatā€™s when I realised that I didn't want to be spiderman I wanted to be his girlfriend, we can all agree that Andrew was really cute and brought in a playful charm which was very admirable and it was also in this spidermanā€™s version it was explained why the spider bite only worked for peter parker and then The amazing spiderman 2 was released which made me realise I didn't want to be spidermanā€™s girlfriend. It was heartbreaking when Gwen died, especially when Peter was very close to saving her.
Then comes our little tom holland who is brought into the avengers by tony stark, among all the spiderman multi-verses it is tomā€™s version that his first big fight is with captain America I mean I know that tom does not play a huge deal but being in the middle of a civil war between the Avengers and going against Captain America is pretty cool. Something that hit me watching tom's spiderman version is that how is aunt may hot? Isn't aunt may supposed to be an old sweet lady who was supposed to be with a walking stick and all of a sudden she's this ass kicking beautiful woman how did that happen anyhowĀ  Tom and Tony have this exquisite bond. He was like a son to him, Tony almost gives away his inheritance and the Stark foundation authorities to tom at the end of Spiderman: homecomingĀ  (tom walks away and refuses to take it).Ā
Tom not only wins over tonyā€™s heart but also doctor strangeā€™s in spiderman: no way home which I cannot get enough of spiderman: No way home without a doubt is the best spiderman movie ever made. Bringing in not only all the spiderman but also the villains was breathtaking. The prequels were very much intriguing. Awaiting for the next Marvel movie soon.
Until then

Kimi no nawa (your name)
For those of you who don't realize that anime is the best thing that's ever happened to human kind here it is:
The movie has everything we would expect in an anime movie. It's funny. It has drama, the element of surprise, fantasy and a pinch of perviness which is laughable.
Kimi no nawa is more than just a time-travelling , body-swapping romance between taki and mitsuha. The movies are about how all things are interconnected. The whole movie is surrounded by the celestial event, the meteor shower happens to be the sole reason why taki and mitsuha switch bodies. At first we do not realize that it also involves time travel but later our mind gets blown realizing that taki and mitsuha not only live in different whereabouts but different timelines that's when the plot thickens.
It amazes me how much the miyamizu family is connected to the comet, the first comet creates the shrine in which the miyamizu family perform a ritual where they leave half of themselves to the gods by creating ā€œkuchikamizake'' (a rice based alcohol that uses human saliva as a fermentation starter) The miyamizu family worships generation after generation which is also the reason why the whole town is saved from the second comet which happens to detroy the whole town.
There is a beautiful Japanese myth that says that everyoneā€™s little finger is tied to an invisible red string that will lead him or her to another person to whom the other end is tied and with whom they have an important story. The red yarn which Mitsuha gives Taki might be one of the reasons that he couldnā€™t get her out of his mind and which also led him to her village.
The movie goes from body switching to time travelling to body switching again. It's confusing but it's worth a watch. To everyone who hasnā€™t watched the movie yet, Please do watch it you'll thank me later.

Love>Hate
ā€œLove frees a soul and in the same breath can sometimes suffocate itā€
Do you sometimes wonder why we end up hating something which used to be our most favourite thing on earth thatā€™s because there is always a fine line between love and hate when the nimiety amount of love is expressed or manifested it crosses over to the dark side where the very thing we loved becomes something we despise the most.
We all have love-hate relationships. It's not just the relationship between a man and a woman thatā€™s at jeopardy, it's also the one with our parents thatā€™s at risk. For instance our parents love us and they worry more about us than they do for themselves. They want what's best for us but never realise our needs. Of course it's for our well-being but at the cost of our individuality. They desire our life and plan our future but the process almost never includes ourselves.
Loving someone is like walking on thin ice. You never know when the ice is gonna break. How much ever carefully you might walk at one point itā€™s gonna drown you and the harder you try to get out of it the stronger the current is.
Some of us really enjoy those kinds of relationships. I personally do because I believe that only if we care about someone we can render that much love only if we love them to the extent that we get dragged between loving them and hating them.
My opinion is that when we just love someone there is no friction only when we are pulled between love and hate the desire to hold on begins. Be it friendship, be it love, be it family, only a spectacle can make life purposeful. Hope you find a love-hate relationship in your life.

Harry Potter: Return to hogwarts
When we watch Harry potter we not only see a great piece of literature/cinematography but it's also a great part of our childhood. Almost everyone of us grew up thinking that our parents hid the truth from us that one day they're gonna tell us that we are wizards and they kept us from the wizarding world to keep us from all the power or away from voldemort, some of us would have even hoped that we were adopted just to be part of the fascinating world.
My most fantasicing moment was to wear those robes and have the wands to wave them around, chant spells, create potions even writing about Hogwarts gets me enthused.
Watching harry potter as a child i always admired and wanted to be hermione as all girls wanted to but later until Luna lovegood enters the scene of course i love hermione but luna had a quirky personality which is innocent and soulful.
Watching Return to Hogwarts was kind of painful for me because it was a reminder that weā€™re no more children, we're adults as much as weā€™d love to return to Hogwarts we cannot, as the train takes us to reality and not Hogwarts.
