honestly advertising is so fukcing wasteful not even just in the convincing you to buy shit you never actually wanted but like

how much electricity is wasted displaying ads that could've gone to keeping houses warm. How much paper is produced just to be turned into pamphlets and ads that will just be thrown away. how much internet bandwith is wasted just on the amount of ads that are on the internet nowadays. How many hours worth of labor went into producing ads that are going directly into my adblocker or my waste bin that could've been time spent doing literally ANYTHING useful?

Theory time. What if the crying child is not the one being terrorised by the nightmares?

Having actual animatronics to get your kid to avoid them would be kinda backwards and not actually work too well for a child who is already miserable, so I think maybe the nightmare animatronics were made to punish the bully brother to make him see just how badly he treated his brother after he killed him by mistake.

After all, Michael is the one who wrote in the survival logbook and drew a nightmare animatronic in it. If the crying kid was the one to get the nightmares how did Michael know about them well enough to accurately draw one?
