I hope this doesn't come across as rude but I feel like it's doing a disservice to call your pieces edits?? Not that edits aren't an art form in and of themselves, but it feels like yours are more paintings with sims as a base, which is commonly practiced in the art community (using a photograph base to paint on top of, I mean). Edits I consider more touch ups?? Idk, it just never seems right to call them edits for me.

hey nonny :+)! thanks for taking the time out of your day to share ur opinion - i appreciate that. you actually bring a very interesting point! idk the technical name specifically, but rossdraws does this a lot w/ his works (painting over photographs). looking back (at exactly a year ago), i think my editing did evolve where i draw a lot more (hair, eyes, skin etc). i think im kinda hesitant in classifying my works as “art” since im using other people’s cc/ea content as a base (n it feels wrong? to say it’s art when i didnt make the content if that makes sense). i guess i see it as more an elaborative/detail-oriented type of editing? but im always honoured when people compliment on my work n call it as art :’’+)

hey angel :+) !! i’ve always contemplated whether or not to make eye contact cc but as you can tell, the way i draw my irises always varies depending on the edit. unfortunately im a type of person who’s pretty self critical so ik ill be super meticulous n never be 1OO% satisfied kasdf (+ im always experimenting w/ my eye style). but eyes?! are honestly my fav to edit :’+))) thanks for asking sweetheart, maybe in the future i’ll figure smt out

Hey nonny ! I understand how numbers can be viewed as validation (as i fell victim to this) to many but everyone out there, please don’t let the numbers dictate your self esteem/self worth (ik it’s easier said than done). a couple months before, I wasn’t happy since I had the pressure in creating content and it tainted my enjoyment of editing. however, i’ve learned that editing really was an outlet for me to reduce my anxiety and i get lost in it bc i love the process sm :’+) sharing my work is always a bonus n realizing that mAN a person took the time out of their day to leave a “like/comment” on my work is crazy to think about instead of reducing people to just a number.edit: (i forgot the term i learned in psych class but i found it!!!) but editing to me seen as a “peak experience” or “flow”

also re: the title of “queen”. for me personally, I hope people don’t idolize me/put me up on a pedestal b/c of my work/numbers I get. it’s a def sweet compliment but once it goes beyond to creating a “perfect illusion” of me, it can get dangerous. i dislike labeling one as “big/small” bc it creates inequalities and divides people. also, just bc i’m labeled a certain title doesn’t mean i should be immune to criticism since it’s a way to help me grow. i want to push the idea that everyone’s worth being here n their content should be celebrated n loved equally bc there’s sm talent in this community n we shouldnt treat people differently bc of quantifiable things. i’m forever grateful for everyone in the community who enjoy my work and/or my presence but dont think im some perfect being cause im really not !!

Hey! I loved the most recent edit you did of your sims ladies. I’ve struggled with acne my whole life too, and I make lots of sims with skin that looks like mine! Could you please tell me which items you used to get that effect? I have parenthood and use the acne skin detail from there but it doesn’t always provide enough variation or the effect I’m looking for haha tysm your edits are amazing!!!
