no bc from a different pov, thalia could’ve easily been the parallel to perseus in a way. she is the child of zeus. her iconic item is aegis, depicting medusa’s severed head. she even had the help of athena and hermes (annabeth and luke) while she was on the run. and she (and percy) were conceived in spite of precautions taken to prevent the fulfilling of a prophecy that told of their parents’ potential downfall by their children, similar to how perseus was born as a result of his grandfather trying to circumvent a prophecy foretelling his death by the hand of his grandson.
