What’s one head canon you have about the future?

I will insist on this until my dying day- Ian Gallagher took care of people for a living again.

I don't like the argument Ian couldn't be an EMT again because he was a felon (literally his job as parolee). But even if he couldn't be an EMT because of that, or because it was too much for his mental health, he would find something else.

Maybe he went to nursing school, maybe he volunteers at the lgbt youth center and offers first aid, maybe even a doctor's assistant, idk. Maybe he'll recycle Kev and Vee's southside medical van idea but with an actual qualification? Who knows.

I think Mickey saw how proud he was in 7x10. I think Mickey pushes him to do it after Ian tells him stories about his time as an EMT.

Ian has always been ambitious and Mickey loves that about him. So after the security company stabilizes and Mickey manages their works, Ian will find his own thing again.
