Masungi Georeserve: A different trekking experience 🍃

Located in Baras, Rizal lies the first-in-the-country georeserve called Masungi. Derived from the tagalog word "masungki" meaning spiked reference to sprawling rocks of limestones found in the area. It took us around one and a half hour drive from Manila to reach the place of boasting towering limestones and vast discovery trail.

They do not accept walk-ins. You have to secure your tour slots by reservation through their email. 1,800 per head for minimum of 7 pax, maximum of 14 pax during weekends.

It took us 3 hours to complete their discovery trail but it will depend I think on the pacing of your group. You'll be assigned one park ranger as your guide for the trail. It was raining and drizzling the whole time but it made the experience even more special. The trail offers some nice attractions - Sapot ni Ric, Yungib ni Ruben, Ditse, Patak, Duyan, Tatay and Nanay, and hanging bridges from one rock formation to another.

The trail alone is not that hard, but it was very tiring. The whole experience is surely a thrilling one, definitely a must-try! 💚

I am.

I'm not really a good person. I always thought, in time, I'm going to do wrong things to every person I meet. But I know now that I'm also not perfect. I need to forgive myself. I need to learn. I need to grow. I need to deal with every issue and problems I'm facing. In the process of it I'll grow and grow and learn how to face issues better. But I also put in ny mind that in the process of learning and growing I'll lose people. No matter how much I hold on to them, no matter how much effort I put in to making them stay in my life if they aren't meant to be there the will be gone. On the other hand, people who are meant to be with me until the end of my journey will be with me 'til the end under any circumstances. They'll be there to help me grow and teach me things, guide and redirect me to my path whenever I'm lost.

I am who I am now. Growing, evolving and a little closer to the person I want myself to be.

My team competed at the annual Epson E-Kaizen South East Asia Block Convention held at Johor, Malaysia last July 4-7, 2023.

We fell short of bringing home gold and ended up with bronze award but we will never forget all the learnings from this experience. We were able to learn from presentations from other Epson affiliates, broaden our network and fired up our passion even more of doing exemplary Kaizen activities.

Growing up I knew I was different. Mas gusto kong maglaro ng piko at chinese garter kesa basketball. Mas gusto kong manuod ng Winx Club kesa Lupin at Dragon Ball Z. Ginawa ko ring buhok yung t-shirt, sinusuot ko yung mga heels ni mama kapag naglilinis ng bahay habang sumasayaw sa Halukay Ube ng Sexbomb. Simula pa lang alam kong iba ako. It was very clear to me that I'm gay. ❤️

I am one of few who were lucky to have such great support system coming from their own family. I will never forget the day I told mama I'm gay. Coming out made my relationship with my parents stronger. Mas lalo akong napalapit sa parents ko. 💕

Of course, some people who identify as members of the LGBT community may choose to come out in a public way, others will not feel safe to do so, while others never will "officially" come out and simply live their lives. It's important to remember that an individual's decision to come out is their own personal choice.

So ikaw na nagbabasa nito, you don't have the right to out someone. Huwag mong agawin sa kanila yung right nila to decide how and when to come out. 😉❤️🏳️‍🌈
