I wanted to research a little bit more about the Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix images that I posted a few days ago since it had been getting a few notes. I think the pictures are pretty famous and if you have gone through Pinterest a little while you have probably seen them.

This is from the November 1991 Interview Magazine issue. It features Keanu and River photographed by Bruce Weber and an interview by Gini Sikes and Paige Powell. They were promoting My Own Private Idaho and the meeting took place at the Suite 55 in the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Boulevard. The images were shot around the hotel featuring people like the actor Rodney Harvey.

The interview is rather... intimate? I don't really know how to describe it. It just feels like when you hang out with two friends that are more friends with each other than you with any of the two. They are best friends and you're just a friend. They're in their own world, casually answering the questions Sikes and Powell are asking.

To any interested, River here says that Keanu was like his older brother but shorter. And he smoked Camel.
