I promised I’d talk more about my AUs, so let me ramble about Magical Malpractice 🗣

In this AU, Wilson essentially takes Willow’s place as Maxwell’s ‘helper’ in our world. He was a failing doctor based in New York, somewhere in the 1900s to 1910s, struggling to pay back debt gathered by immigration + establishment of his clinic. Maxwell offers him otherworldly funding in exchange for information on his ‘patients’, and if said patients are what he’s looking for, they’re promptly brought into the Constant.

As funding isn’t an issue for him, Wilson offers his services for free, having all walks of life stumble into his clinic in hopes of alleviation from their ailments. A handful never step back out of that clinic, as Maxwell finds his pawns and Wilson continues his studies worry-free. Many are given an ultimatum by the shaded visage, and with the way Wilson’s reacted to the ‘severity’ of their afflictions, many give in to the deal made on their death bed to avoid their coming fate.

As for Wilson himself? When speculation grew around town, it grew fast. The doctor was suspected of malpractice, and being unable to perform his side of the bargain with Maxwell, the good doctor abandons his post, never to be seen again.

Not in this world, anyway.

Glad there’s some interest in the AU! I took a bit of a break from it to work out some kinks but I can definitely post it again if the interest is there.

As for Maxwell, he’s physically fine, but matters of the body and mind seem to be at odds. Here’s the sketch I did for his profile… where he stands outside of immunity is to be revealed

And Mod! I haven’t drawn that guy in forever but he still does exist. He’s a sweet guy so I’d imagine his version of intentional irritation is spreading love and light. Giving his grumpy creator a flower crown. you understand.

Be forwarned!

Infection AU? How creative... anyways...

The Queen, at long last, is informed of her pawns' alligence with Wagstaff en-masse, and reaches a personal point of no return. Personally slighted by the act of defiance, and enraged at their disregard of her apparent benevolence, her radiance comes to a sound-minded solution to the issue at hand. In her fury, Queen Charlie unleashes upon the survivors a plague borne of her own affliction. Parasitic extensions of Them spread by fuel globules, blood, and saliva, the queen's blight acts as her grand retribution for her pawns so much as thinking of defying her. Local flora and fauna begin cropping up with the typical traits of blight, and Willow, ever the fearless, finds herself face-to-face with her blighted benevolence. Lulled in by her charm, Willow is the first human infected with the queen's parasitic plague. The survivors soon realize something is amiss with Willow, and attempt to confront the distressed arsonist. She, in response, lashes out and ends up injuring Wilson. This uncharacteristic act of aggression leads to said scientist beginning research alongside Wickerbottom and Wanda. The infection, they find, ravages the body of the blighted, leaving little in the way of autonomy. The parasite grows rapidly, contorting and overtaking the host body, most prominently in the area where they were infected. Those infected seem to mirror the lady of the night, though far more... animalistic. Research is on-going, and the world grows (quite literally) duller around them. Strange nettles and bramble resembling rose thorns are beginning to overtake their farms and flora... only time will tell what'll become of this facet of the Constant.

Here's the first three designs of the AU, again, some body horror. More info will roll out... shortly, I swear !! Primarily stages/symptoms/ more character sheets, but for the time being my ask box is open to any unanswered questions

Each user will be assigned a giftee with their prompts and given two weeks to make a short-and-sweet piece for said prompt. In with the seasons theming, these scenarios are all about ships and the power of the romantic advance! Best way to boost constantly-drained morale is through the power of pure, disgustingly-sweet, unadulterated love (or so I've heard)!
