My drawing for the Encanto Big Bang Event! This was challenging but really fun, and even though I still think it could be way better, I’m proud of how it turned out!

This event was a blast and it was super awesome to see everyone’s sneak peeks and wips throughout the event! (Though if I get to do it again I think I’m gonna try to be less ambitious XD)

Encantober Day 2: Strength

I’m super behind 😭 work has been kicking my ass…and just general lack of motivation/inspiration. But I finally decided on this, and I’m really loving how it turned out! Based on my mighty need to see Julieta interacting with her older daughters more, and I guess I’m still stuck on the angst/hurt/comfort train XD

Encantober Day 1: Caterpillar

I’m already behind, but here is my fill for the first prompt! I wanted to make it something related to Dos Oruguitas but couldn’t figure out how to tie it in and make it obvious. But then I thought of adding an actual caterpillar, and it gave me this idea.

So if you’ve seen my main blog you’ll know that I’m currently deep in an Encanto hyperfixation. Especially with everyone’s favorite rat man, Bruno. So much so that I’ve created an OC to ship with him!

So these are some very early sketches of Gabriela, right around where I started trying to figure out how to draw the beloved-worldwide Madrigal family. These colored sketches at the bottom here are more recent, and they’re closer to what I’m settling on for her canon look. But I still have a lot of experimenting to figure out more about her design (color palettes, clothing detail, y’know, the works). So look forward to seeing more of her in the future, as well as more Encanto art :3

Hey there, everyone! You may have seen @clownmoontoon posting about holding a 🌟Big Bang Event 🌟 for the Encanto community!

A Big Bang Event is where fic writers are paired up with artists - the writer writes a fic and the artist makes a piece to go with it.

@clownmoontoon, @sketchnwhatevr, @rinnysega, and I have been discussing the logistics and putting together the bones of a project, but before we make anything final, we’ll be basing our plans on this interest check!
