God I can't even imagine what must be like to watch One Piece Live Action as someone who never read the manga/watched the anime. Cause, you know, in manga you don't really blink at weird curveballs like "this kid who wants to be a pirate? Yeah he is made of rubber" or "this guy here? Full clown attire. Reason? Oh extreme coping mechanism towards having a very red and big nose from birth" midst to relatively normal characters like Nami and Zoro who you could arguably put in any other action media and they wouldn't appear too out there. The gorgeous set doesn't help cause it does feel at times like it's a Pirates of the Caribbean scene so I can only imagine it must be like watching Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack Sparrow suddenly can stretch his arms like a slingshot and Barbossa's crew is all revealed to be dressed like the circus under the moonlight and Will Turner fights with a gun in his mouth

10/10 experience I'd imagine
