i never want to see a dcau stan whine about shayera being with hawkman ever again. you guys adored her being background character #282782 with no lines in jl coie just cause she danced with john stewart, you clearly don't care about her!

it's what comic hawk fans have BEEN saying, you guys only cared about the nostalgia and never her actual character! you don't how to adapt her because you don't read her comics to get to know her backstory, you just care about the crackship romance and nothing else. not a single dcau stan has brought up her lack of role in jl coie but were so quick to post that screencap of john & shayera dancing (a movie she had ZERO lines in). the blatant hypocrisy is mind boggling.

so funny how dcau stans claimed that shayera's 'hawkgirl' is her own character when she's not with hawkman. meanwhile, tomorrowverse shayera is just john stewart's love interest who's just 'hawkgirl smash mace', had 0 lines in jl coie part 1 & 2 lines in jl coie part 2

and the movie she had 0 lines in is just her dancing with john and we know nothing about her character at all... but i thought this was the supposed solo spotlight you guys wanted! as long as she's not with hawkman and is with john stewart romantically right? to satisfy your nostalgia?

seeing the dcau stans be silent on the fact that shayera doesn't have a role in these justice league movies is actualky insane. they were quick to post a screencap of a movie shayera had no dialogue in just for her dancing with john stewart, they clearly don't care about her and are fine with being in the background as long as she's john's lover. absolutely ludicrous lol, i never want to see that fanbase come for the hawks again since you guys clearly enjoyed her being john's prize with 0 lines.

spoilers for justice league crisis on infinite earths but the tomorrowverse is the perfect example of why dcau writers/fans should never write john stewart because him sacrificing his ring and then saying this after being a green lantern for only 2 movies is laughable.... and his sacrifice was for nothing cause the demons come back 💀

his movie was bad, his writing is bad, his romantic relationship with hawkgirl is badly developed (also not addressed in this movie alhamdulillah). this is why you get COMIC READERS to write COMIC CHARACTERS.

the irony of a zionist on twitter loving john/shayera where the story in ancient egypt was butchered by misogyny, orientalism, & caricatures white people created while hating on hawkman & hawkgirl where their past lives were actually visibly egyptian is scary tbh

the john/shayera ancient egypt story also felt super fetishy in a way because the white aliens wore ancient egyptian clothing, were sexualized a lot + the husband said egyptians were 'savages'. compare that to the fact that the comics were actually doing a good job at portraying ancient egypt in the comics too

like the fact that a zionist would prefer the ship where white aliens replace the actual egyptians is CRAZY. do we not see the irony in this? actively replacing those that you believe to be brown savages with visible white people? calling palestinians PIGS and saying they need to be burned down? yeah i wonder why you love them.

but you just know the dcau stans are going to stay quiet about this because they'll take anything for their ship even if it's racist/orientalist garbage.
