SHE'S SO FLUFFY!!!

YEE! I finally managed to craft some half decent wool during a 6 hour Zbrush session mucking about with fibermesh and hair cards! cept I forgot to show the bell in the Zbrush pics...FFS...oh well! least I got a good test render! (I made the haircard texture myself!)

Rather pleased with how she's turning out despite the fact I KNOW I'm gonna hate rigging her!

another update? to this? yeah its happening! I know its been a hot minute here but I am slowly regaining my love for the craft (been dealing with some older traumas)

for this update I've polished the animation on the right wing! I also fixed the textures a smidge! next is left wing followed by tail before stage and possibly a tutu!

Need help Refining my IMM fur card system

long time no post! I've been tinkering off and on on a system that uses Zbrush's IMM brushes to place premade clusters of haircards with different UV cells in arrangements so that I can have my models be fluffy and customizable in texture without looking repetitive! the premade floofs I have made are looking great when rendered but when put together, despite having great coverage! it becomes splotchy and blegh... I have no idea how to fix/refine this into something usable and so I am reaching out to the internet for advice/help! for more details please see my Reddit post on the same subject here! https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dmodeling/duplicates/1amegk0/fur_cards/ if anyone would like to nab a copy of the IMM brush that I'm working on and try fiddling with/fixing it please don't hesitate to reach out!

spent 8.3 hours the other day setting up something new and fun for future art streams! (including 3D modeling my 2015 Wacom Intuos Art Tablet!) I had fun with the colours! and frankly IMHO it should have had more colours anyway!

and YES! those ARE fuzzy pink floor protectors on the back of the tablet! I put those on my actual tablet because I used it with a laptop and the fuzzy protectors kept the tablet above the keyboard back then! now its just extra comfort!

just had the greatest bout of luck in my life!

after a devastatingly gruesome 2ish HOURS on Hunters stupid Rocket-skateboard of hell...I was BLESSED in Honey Speedway with the greatest patch of luck I have EVER encountered in a platformer in my LIFE! Triple Win in Honey Speedway!

I HAVE BEEN BLESSED! I found a retro Videogame collector in my area willing to trade this glorious baby for some old games and “I” just so happened to have my ps1 and old DS/3DS games and alongside my Animal Crossing switch (after a user/game transfer and factory reset) AND SCORED BIGTIME! this is honestly the best trade I’ve ever done in my LIFE! how epic is it that I scored this the DAY before TOTK drops? that and not having to shell out 600$ is a MASSIVE BOON! I need a OLED sized case now but I DO NOT CARE!!!

Finished my Shield-less Hero Mode run!

and that's all folks! we have SUCCESSFULLY completed Skyward Sword HD in a shield-less Hero Mode run! we collected all the heart pieces! we got all 27 goddess cubes! we got all 80 Gratitude Crystals (my friend and I now call them "Gratitude Pop-Rocks!") and after a fun yet surprisingly upgraded and difficult dash through the Hero Mode monster hoards we took on Ghirahim for the final time...and was the last honorable battle in the entire game! after crying over the loss of the only other Sword Spirit in existence and slogging through the most INFURIATING final boss with his cheap and disrespectful attacks (made worse by a undodgeable attack as its designed for you to have a shield!) we were slapped in the feels again with the loss of Fi and Grannie back to back! bringing a bittersweet close to an amazing game and the canonical jump-start to the series according to its timeline! no stream tomorrow as I need to recoup for a bit! but I hope to stream TOTK when I get my mitts on it! thank you all for joining me on this adventure!
