Somebody told me that there's two sides to this life
I think I might've chosen darkness over light

Day 3 of #inktober (bait) and #LostLightFest2019 (orion pax)! Orion Pax has been through this before…and every time, he chooses the same path over and over again, hopeful that perhaps this time, things will be different. Perhaps this time…he’ll succeed.

War Prime.
You’ve killed more than you could ever save.
And in the end, you can’t feel anything but energon on your hands.

So, uhh…
How about that Covenant of Primus, eh? The whole -y’know- canon bible behind the Aligned continuity of Transformers including the Prime cartoon series?
How about the implications there of Orion Pax having been found and adopted by Alpha Trion from outside Iacon, like a feral wild gremlin child?
Guess who’s been having a lot of thoughts and ideas about all that.
Also, if anyone who actually owns a Covenant of Primus book and could get me a scan of the actual words of this implication, I would be Eternally Grateful.

I recently got myself hooked on @pastelpaperplanes’s Cops & Mobs AU, (seriously guys go check it out it’s freaking amazing.)
This was supposed to be a family portrait of sort but I couldn’t decide which one to draw, Burlesque Optimus or Mob husband Optimus… so I just drew Both. (I really just want to have an excuse for Megatron to be surrounded by two Optimus Prime/Nemesis Prime.)
Anyways I hope you like them Pastel, I really got invested in this AU b(^v^)d (Please, let this boys be Happy.)

@severeannoyance I also agree on your deductions, Megatron’s origin is tragic and simply unfair, it had him chained by the neck since the very beginning. Odds were stacked against him by ten thousand fold, and with what damning atrocity the functionalist universe had concocted in Megatron's lack of existence in that universe, frankly I wouldn't condone Megatron's actions as not worthy for a meaningful redemption end.
And before anyone retaliate and blaze me with fire ammunition for my stance on this matter. I would argue that Four Million Years of War, Death and Destruction could not be simply waged alone by a single Participant. Everyone, both the Autobots and the Decepticons should be held mutually accountable for the damage and the lives lost it caused for blowing the full scale of Civil War out of proportion and systematically taking it out of Cybertron space and proceeded to involve other worlds in the galaxy as an unfortunate collateral damage.
I would also like to point out that Optimus Prime would have as much blood on his servos to rival that of the stain coating Megatron's own, or else he would've been as dead as his predecessors during the duration of the War. You could argue that Prime did so for the greater good of the "cause" a necessary action to enact "Freedom is the right of all Sentient beings", very heroic reasons yes, but Murder is still Murder.
Regardless of the reason or the intent behind the Prime's actions and the lives he'd taken during the course of the said war, the point still remains that Optimus Prime is as much as a killer as Megatron is, no matter how much you try to veil it in the transparent reasoning of righteousness simply because Optimus Prime is labeled as "one of the good guys".
And if Starscream, Megatron's treacherous second in command is given a redemption end by sacrificing himself to activate the Talisman which caused it's magical energies to consume Starscream completely, in order to burn a path straight into Unicron's core and ultimately allowing the monster to be felled.
If Soundwave, the True Loyal embodiment of the Decepticon Cause is given a redemption end by sacrificing himself using the Enigma's power to to combine all the minds and souls of both the living and the dead, uniting them all with his telepathic ability and psychically link them all together with the Afterspark and Optimus Prime to give him courage and a chance to fight back against Unicron's creator and buy them enough time for the Talisman to be rebooted, a sacrifice which caused Soundwave's body crumble away.
If Optimus Prime, Leader of the Autobots, Megatron's arch nemesis, the person who could arguably rival Megatron's kill count of their Cybertronian brethren, is granted a redemption end by sacrificing himself to stop Unicron from destroying the Universe by leaping in a black hole that will take him to Unicron's core to convince Unicron's creator to let go of his hatred. As Optimus pulled Unicron's creator into an embrace, encouraged him to remember his daughter and thus granting Unicron's creator a sense of peace which led to his passing, causing Unicron to collapse in on himself and Optimus along with them, ending Unicron's threat to the galaxy.
If Optimus Prime, Starscream, and Soundwave were given the chance to redeem themselves in a manner that gives a great impact and weight to the rectification of the future generation, despite them being one of the main catalyst and prominent figures of their respective factions during the course of War, there is no excuse for Megatron to not be granted the same privilege of a redeeming end, when most of his Generals and his Counterpart were granted a meaningful end while leaving the stage of their story.
The quote "There is no redemption for the amount of blood on your hands" referring to Megatron is so sick. No matter how hard you regret or how badly you wish you could take things back or fix things you can't
I haven't finished LL or MTMTE but I know they grow to care for him and he cares for them too and his execution is just an impending doom type of situation and hes running out of time but if there was a way to truly redeem him after all the death and bloodshed and fighting I would love to see it play out
