Stays Krunchy in Milk Episode 533: Chinchilla Everywhere

Eclipse Prep had Tee on pins and needles. What celebrity would you want to hang out with? Women’s basketball is on fire and that is very dope. Ant had a poor customer service experience at a spot that’s usually all vibes. Ant also had a good volunteer experience. Spring has sprung and we attempt to figure out what that means, from allergies to alcoholic beverages. What can you talk about for 30 minutes uninterrupted? Drinking and smoking culture are cooler than drinking and smoking. Mackenzie Scott is a billionaire who intends to give her entire fortune away, several organizations around Cleveland have benefited from her generosity. A cyber flasher was jailed in the UK. Quiet on the set seems more salacious than intending to help its subject matter. Box’s house issues continued forth because the contractor who did his siding did a very poor job. But like most of us, do it yourself. We interview Dan’s little brother who shares tales of an all-boys private high school. I’m a be real with you, the show opens extra politically this week, if you can’t or don’t want to get down with that, fast forward about 20 minutes cause Tee is on one. A total eclipse is coming to North America and in particular Northeast Ohio and dang it, we are going to be prepared. Cleveland is getting some money for helping with environmental racism. The idea of Electric Cars is lightweight scarry when you black. Ant’s oldest celebrates a birthday and then gets to hang out with his uncles and chat. Stays Krunchy in Milk Episode 530: Thicc Necromancer

So, it started with a Reel discussing Soaking, a sex act that seems to have its roots in Mormon culture. Which spun off into toes and tossed salads, but not scrambled eggs. That of course leads into a bit of a deep dive into your hosts sexual proclivities to a certain degree, we hope you take no offense and get a chuckle. The Ohio House, for once, seems to want the will of the people to stand in regards to legal cannabis in the Buckeye state. Could Cleveland become the home of future astronauts? It’s tax season and Tee’s son has to do taxes for the first time. We are joined by the homie NicJu this week to discuss her upcoming travels and discuss international travel overall and what and how we do it. Ant’s continuing adventures in fatherhood still make us chuckle. Box’s little brother’s sushi aversion hurt his soul. But hey, we talked sushi for a bit. R.I.P. BD’s Mongolian Grill. What restaurants do you miss? Though they played Dan on his most recent outing, Rasing Cane’s is pretty darn consistent and of high quality. Ohio still hasn’t gotten its cannabis law in order. Cleveland’s own Tracy Chapman’s sells and streams are up exponentially following her Grammy performance. Stays Krunchy in Milk Episode 526: Cook Me A Cheetah!

Welcome to February and Black History Month! We start the ep showing love so some Black owned Restaurant’s in and around Cleveland but show particular love to a friend of ours and her people’s spot Brunchology in Bedford, OH. It’s a family-owned business and if you get down with Brunch and Brunch type foods give them a visit. Be patient, they are a big deal which means you aren’t the only one trying to get down with some great food but make sure you give them a visit and tell them we sent, not on some sponsorship shit, they really are our friends so we want them to know we all folk. We discuss the veto override of Ohio HB68 banning Gender Affirming care for minors and the fuckery of politicians as well as resources for those affected by it. Discussing the return of movies to North Olmstead, OH led us to discussing snacks and then stores, and then travel, it was, as always, really great. Ant saw a wild Turkey and his youngest simply did not believe it, so they recorded a discussion regarding local fauna. Box had a poor experience with his doctor but by the time we finished the discussion he was in a better place with it. Tee is learning how to edit video and getting better but by bit. Stays Krunchy in Milk Episode 525: Kids Love Sheetz

Ms. Tatiana Clark absolutely made Tee’s week with her Drake/Sexy Red Cover of Rich Baby Daddy on Tik-Tok. This led to a discussion of The Parkers and Countess Vaughn and Jenna von Oÿ’s treatment on set. Which then spun out into a discussion on movie theaters in a post pandemic world and films and award season. In news, we discuss a local meteorologist’s DUI charges. This sets us down the path of what will be the theme of the show, empathy, grace, caring for oneself and others. We did not do this on purpose, it simply was how the show played out all the way down to AITA, it was wild to record because of that because we kept noticing how it kept coming back around to said theme. Stays Krunchy in Milk Episode 524: Self Appointed Mayor of Popeyes

Winter weather and the lessons of life is how we open the discussion this go round. Box shares his Olive Garden adventures and realizes he is def beyond chain sit down spots. Something his friends on this show already knew. This leads to us discussing how mid restaurant experiences have been since the pandemic. Tee shares his birthday cake collecting adventures and how that led to copping a grip of breadsticks and trying a mighty tasty frozen pizza. While checking scores on the night we record Tee discovered a football player had been given a 9th year of playing eligibility and well, that became a thing so we read the story and discussed it. We then bounce back to Olive Garden because Dan’s parents refused to let him tip their server because our parents will always want to parent us. Ant returns to the cinema for the first time in a while, and promptly falls asleep. Child versions of cartoons were interesting. A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Flintstone Kids, Muppet Babies, y’all know what where on about. We try to figure out what movies should Ant play for the boys. Team SKiM is back together at full strength for the first time in weeks and bring in 2024 by reminiscing about 2023 a bit. Let’s just say, this one is different and highly edited for... reasons. Anyhooo, we discuss the changing of seasons and its effects on us. Y’all remember when we wanted our phones to make noise? What a time! The return of Snoop Dogg’s Gz Up Hoes Down on the 30th Anniversary release of his solo debut Doggystyle and its meaning to this podcast had to be discussed. A local meteorologist got arrested for Drumk Driving. Parma gets a giant Pink Flamingo in honors of those who have passed on from breast cancer. We discuss Cleveland cinema classic A Christmas Story before discussing our personal relationship with the holiday itself. Box had to go to the hospital. It was still fresh in his mind, so Ant and Tee try to be good friends and talk him through even though it was far to soon for that part of his dealing with it. Men are always trying to solve problems when sometimes, problems are unsolvable and people simply need time. That being said, we also discussed our Thanksgivings and how they went. Daylight Savings Time has been ruinous to Tee’s sleep schedule. It’s no good for rush hour traffic either. Tee’s oldest boy is really growing into an amazing man but it also brings up memories of 20 years ago. The vinyl record hustle can be so much fun. Coupon codes can sometimes be amazing, Ant is even in a Telegram group to get even more codes and retail error deals. Rolling machines are so cool and rolling joints or cigarettes with them is a delight, and all that is just in the intro. The great Creed/Nickelback debate is finally settled right here on SKiM. The great state of Ohio voted to legalize recreational cannabis. If left as is, it would go into effect 7 December 2023. Shockingly, Texas remains on that bullshit when it comes to Trans rights. Ant’s boys are going from little kids to big boys, and it hits their pop square in the feels. And then, Ant Jr. jumps on for a little interview discussing the then number one movie in the country 5 Nights at Freddys. We plot our Thanksgiving Menus.
