BLACK HISTORY MONTH ART DUMP PT 2

Here he is! The sweet cheese! The good time boy! I hope ya’ll do like it, im very proud of how this turned out, even with the tight time period i had to work on him and for where he’s from i wanted to see if there were any countries that do eat the porcupine from the episode where we need Axl’s parents and turns out that in Nigeria they do!

This is the site/recipe used for my source and got the image from, in case you wanna check it out!

It’s even described that porcupine (or bush meat as some seem to call it) has a very sweet taste.

And from the sources i found, im even a bit compelled to try!

I haven’t drawn food nor Axl a lot but i hope i did them both justice! and also here are some bonus doodles of which i was supposed to post a few days ago:

So here we are again. And its all @burgertron17’s fault

Nah not really, but that did leave a comment under this post

Which all i have to say is like “YES!? Hello!?”

It’s not everyday i get asked questions, and my autism will not let me rest on anything NK related so I’ll gladly enlighten you, my dear friend.

So i changed things up quite a bit.

First i changed so that it wasn't a mental hospital but a rather sketchy lab. Partly cuz i didn’t want to throw dirt on something that now a-days saves life’s (some of them do, i also know some of them suck, don't come after me) and cuz a mental hospital!? Too easy! So basically the idea is that after Ruina/Wanda was petrified, Clay was found and forcefully taken to this laboratory the moment they found out about his magical abilities.

Quite a while later the laboratory invites the royal family to show off their research and thing they think will help the kingdom. Macy is allowed to bring her classmates along, their presence being treated as body guard training on the field or something.

On this failthful day, some guard manages to drop their phone into Clay’s “enclosure”, giving him just enough power to escape.

This idea is based of a head canon that honestly deserves a post of its own, so tell me if you wanna hear more about that.

But he takes this chance and escapes his cell, killing the guards and anyone who gets in his way.

(So you can see i still kept some “mental asylum” vibe in this, cuz i wont lie and say it doesn’t look cool.) While trying to find his way out he runs into the royal family who were in the middle of getting escorted out of the labratory.

Clay practically kidnaps Macy and escapes further into the labratory. But dont worry, its still Clay after all.

CW: Light blood

Hearing the princess’s promise, a smile beams across his face. “Really!? Oh thank you!” He reaches his arm out, as if to hug her, but quickly retract them to his sides. “I’ll get out of your hair now”

He takes a few steps back and exit the closet quietly, enter into some sort of less solid form as he zaps down the hallway, leaving the princess alone with her thought.

Questioning if agreeing to his terms was a good idea and if this is gonna backfire. But its too late now, she already let him go and who knows how far he’s gotten by now.

She slumps down against the wall, retracting her knees closer to her chest as she rests her head against the wall. Now with nothing else to do but wait, she decides getting some shut eye wont hurt. Hopefully.

That’s what im sharing for now. I have more that im still working on.

This probably wont be a super fleshed out concept, just something simply I’ll use for angst and what not, but i feel like it has enough depth to be acceptable.

AU thingy ig

so idk why i drew this, i just went on Kleiki cuz i was bored. And it was nice drawing on it with my Apple Pencil. But it was very laggy and i would’ve enjoyed to have more layers.

oh well. On to the AU. So Clay does get struck but they save him from the stone curse. After s4 they submit him to a lil sketchy mental hospital (this AU isn’t thought trough i came up with it like 5 min ago cuz i just wanted this drawing to have a backstory.)

anyway Monstrux starts attacking again. And the Knights come to pick him up. Turns out this wasn’t actually a good mental hospital. More like a prison that drive ppl insane. And they wont give Clay back. so they break in and the sirens go off. They find Clay, but he’ve lost it. He wont stop rambling about some voices and how its hurts and so on.

they get him out of there. But with no idea what to do!

im sorry for not posting. I just havent had any inspiration for post. But if you would have any questions i would love to answer them! About this AU or any AU i’ve shown in the past!

Switched Career AU

I’m aware the name sounds like a sims expansion pack I’ll fix it later

AU info below!

So i got this idea when i was thinking about how younger me misunderstood Alice in the first episode.

I thought that when she said “country boy” she meant he was a cowboy. And i thought this for like a whole year.

And then i thought “What if he was a cowboy?” But thats too easy and boring + They already kinda did that in s4. Not really but close enough (i have enough memes of Cowboy Clay locked an loaded anyway so i think I’ll survive) So i continued thinking and remembered from the Knights code how Clay said a certain sword was easy enough a child could make it. And i just started assuming he must have some knowledge in weapon making. Cuz why not? and also! I didnt neglect the other knights for this project! THATS A FIRST!

I gave them minor redesigns, nothing too mayor but still something. (also all of this is pre-knights academy. So they’re like 15 or sum)

Yet again, just playing with the idea that he works as a blacksmith, providing for him an his brother.

I somehow thought out more for Aaron than Clay??? Big things are happening in Detroit ngl

I have a skit planned with Ruina involved, but more on that later

And for Merlok: guess he just never found him. Or he died. Idk I’ll figure something out later.

Oh and since Merlok couldn’t find him he just kinda grew into his powers, and so did Fletch. They dont know much tho about it and just use it as some sort of minor day to day tool. But they haven’t trained it so its just still kinda uncontrollable at times, remaining heavily linked to emotions. (All of this still in very early development dont come for me)

I have no clue what Aaron’s dad works as but i just made him a fisherman.

Aaron still craves danger, but the danger of fishing (cuz that shit can be real fucking dangerous let me tell ya that-)

He’s still too younge tho, but he can’t stop talking about it, and how much he wish he could join his dad on his boat (He has snuck on on several occasions but turns out hiding under deck during a storm isn’t a good idea. The only reason he stopped was cuz he’d miss out on the fun part regardless) Him and Clay are friends, meeting every now and again when Clay and Fletch come and buy fish from his family.

He’s been very excited about taking over the restaurant, already having a plethora of dishes he wants to make (and eat ofc).

He’s friends with Aaron, given they also buy fish from his family. He’s not very familiar with Clay tho. They’ve been at the fish market at the same time once or twice but barely talked. But they still see each other as friends, just not very close

Macy is still, Macy ig? I’m not sure what to do with her. So i just made King Halbert more chill. She takes several combat classes and planning on becoming a fighting queen if anything.

Her and her family are going on a trip through out the kingdom with the Richmonds. On her end its more of a meet and greet thing, but it’s different for Lance.

OG Lance must be quite jealous. He was sent into the acting industry at a very young age. He thrives in it, taking role after role back to back.

However this next one requieres some sort of reference with the commoners. He joins Macy’s family (Bringing his agent and Dennis with him obv.) as they travel through the country sides of the kingdom. He honestly can’t wait to go home and take a dip in the gold pool.

Idk why this thing kinda makes me sad but oh well, it’s the truth after all.

I am planning on writing this. Like fanfic wise.

But whenever that’ll be out is a mystery.

I haven’t written a fanfic since my wattpad days and AO3 still lowkey scares me.

Also other than Fletch so am i not sure what to do with Ava, Robin or Izzy. So if ya have any ideas, please share, i have no clue.

I’m back! And with this very nice request here.

I haven’t been too much on the Ninjago fandom in a while, but i do like the change of dialogue. That episode did bother me when i first saw it, so this was a nice idea with a new optional ending.

I also tried this minimal shading technique since im not used with making comics and shading my normal art pieces take hours, but im rather happy with how it turned out. I wanted to make a background but i know I’d get carried away and it’d just add another week or so until this would’ve been done.

I did however add tiny details here there. But i do apologise if i forgot any mayor details of any kind. But i do hope you like it regardless.
