The fact that hellers think Jared love is a counter point to Misha selling his bullshit about destiel is wild. Particularly, because I didn’t even know that Misha was at a con this weekend, or that he spewed more lies and “jokes” about Destiel and Jensen.

What I did know was that Jared made sure that a fan who got screwed over by CE is going to still get her auto with him at the next con. People who love Jared just love Jared, and we aren’t staking hellers and trying to ruin their fun with our hashtags.

Also, why are they so pressed. When I see Misha trending (it happens less and less often BTW), I just roll my eyes and move on. I don’t create posts about his fans only talking about him to stick it to Jared fans. Because 1) I’m normal. 2) I don’t not care why they are talking about him. 3) I’m not pathetic.

This is old but yet again a reminder of who the best performer on SPN was. We have seen Jared hold his own on Walker so effortlessly. I was watching the scenes between Jared and Coby and there is not even a hint of Sam in there. From the body language to the facial expressions, I don't know how he does it but it's completely different.

Also, Lol-Jackles is so on point with his Jensen analysis here something we all have been saying lately. That's why Jensen was so comfortable as Dean coz that's all he is able to play be it Beau or Soldier Boy. They are all different variations of Dean (or probably him).

I was reminded of this coz someone said that his new Tracker character reminds them of Dean again. I guess that's also the reason why he isn't getting too many roles coz he has typecated himself into this Dean-esque character and producers/writers are unable to imagine him as anything else.

I’ve answered that here.    Jared Padalecki is a character actor and Jensen Ackles is a personality actor.  To simplistically answer your question, Jared is the best actor in the cast.

Character actors are versatile and can play different characters with apparent effortlessness.  Because character actors disappear into their, well, characters, they are not stars, they work steadily but they’re not stars with few exceptions.  Examples: Daniel Day Lewis, Jessica Chastain, Gary Oldman, Steve Buscemi.  They are always praised for their performances but they are not box office draw, meaning people won’t go to a film just because they’re in it, whereas they might with personality actors like Tom Cruise.

Personality actors excel at playing one type of role partly due to their limited range.  What they do well, they do it great because when they commit to a role, they really commit!  Tom Cruise did for all his films even the ones where he’s miscasted.   Rock of Ages was a terrible movie and none of the characters were likable, but Tom at least made his character interesting.  He knew his role lacked character and he added to it (like demanding crazy stuff like a monkey side-kick) and by doing so made the only proper character in the entire film. Not everyone would do that, even actors who understand their characters, but he does whatever he can to make sure we know his character.  

Personality actors are usually stars of blockbuster fims so for this reason some people initially thought Jensen is the star of Supernatural.  Jensen made a bigger impression with Dean than Jared did with Sam in the early seasons because Jensen has been playing Jensen “Dean Winchester” Ackles for the majority of his TV and movie roles since 1998.  Jensen had a 7 years head start compared to Jared who was just starting to play Sam. 

There was a popular gifset of Jensen as Jason Teauge on Smallville going around tumblr and every time it shows up on my dash, it’s tagged as “Dean Winchester”, even rabid SPN fans can’t tell that it’s not Dean.  It’s the same for pictures or gifsets of Tom Hanniger, Jake Grey, and Alec McDowel, they are usually tagged as “Dean Winchester”. The roles are different, it’s Jensen who plays them similarly.

Then you have the same people correctly tagging Jared’s characters in the same show as Meg, Lucifer, Gary, Ezekiel, and Gadreel.  The correct tagging extends to his non-SPN roles like Clay Miller, Thomas Kinkade, and older Dean Forrester.  People can tell that Jared is not playing Sam even when there’s no tags or captions.  As Sam Winchester there are also 50 different shades to go with the same character, like Stanford Sam, DB addict Sam, contrite Sam, haunted by personal demon Sam, trial weakend Sam, and surrogate father Sam.   

Alexander, from the clips of his past work, is a good actor.  I’ll put him in the character actor category.  As of now I don’t think he is lead material but the potential is there.

Glad I watched the show before stepping into the Fandom. I was so surprised when I saw the hoopla over destial here coz I genuinely found myself asking if we saw the same show. Like it comes out of no where in 15*18 and people claim it to be the greatest queer love story.

I'm so disappointed I finally watched the "gay angel" show everyone had been telling me was "so queerbaity" since like 2015 only to find out the ship only exists because the only other male to ship the main character with would be incest and the characters themselves actually have no tension at all.

Misha was never spotted with him ever. Others include Rob, Rich, Clif, JDM, several crew members. You can also tell these things by the way people get along with each other and what they have in common like you see with JDM.

Jensen still makes a point to meet up with Brad Creasser every time he stops in Vancouver yet still doesn't make an effort to hang out with Misha (legit says at cons that it's been so long since they've talked/seen each other)... Just take the L anon. No one is saying they hate each other, just that it is abundantly clear to anyone without shipper goggles on that MC is in no way the closest to Jensen from that cast and crew.

Yep I know people don't think of the crew much but there are crew members that they are friends with as well but you don't hear it much. Jared once credited a guy on set who helped him with his mental health whose name I didn't know. He called him one of his best friends.

Yeah I mean it's not even about whether he likes him or his friends or not. Just saying he's closer to others...but that's unacceptable to them isn't it?
