"El you have to tell me more or I'm going to bail out," she said as she emerged from her shower. Her dear friend had the bright idea of setting Liv up on a blind date. She'd casually had gone out with people but there was never any labels to anything that occurred. Truthfully, her priority had all been about her daughter and her business. The last person she actually had truly cared for was freaking situationship with Nate and that was almost nine years ago. After that she swore off any relationship for six years, finally trying to get back into it, but being completely turned off by the whole idea. Plus, she wasn't just going to bring anyone around Mia. Nonetheless, it didn't stop her eight-year old and dear friend conspiring against her and trying to set Liv up on a proper date. "I think the two of you are having more fun than I am with all of this. Do I already know of them at least?"

Tbh I feel like a lot of people who believe Lucy and Cooper will have a dad-daughter relationship are just placing the Joel-Ellie filter on them because they're another male-female apocalyptic duo and aren't actually considering the characters and where they are in their lives right now. Cooper didn't lose a daughter like Joel did. He has one, who he's currently looking for. There's no daughter-shaped crater in him that needs to be healed. As for Lucy, unlike Ellie, she isn't in need of a father figure in her life. She has a dad, who she had a great relationship with up until the truth was revealed. She is a well adjusted girlie, no daddy issues present. If anything, it's her mother that's the sore spot. Especially considering the fate she had.
