andrómeda lleva todo este tiempo haciendo lo mismo que lleva haciendo años: dedicándose a su familia ( ted y dora ) y a su café, que básicamente lo heredó del dueño anterior después de que se los dejara a ella y ted cuando se retiró. además, igual ha estado trabajando en sus traumas ( que tiene muuuuuuchos ). Eso mismo la ha llevado a pensar si no debería estar haciendo algo más, con todo lo que está pasando en el mundo. se le ha despertado curiosidad de ayudar de alguna forma, aunque no sabe cómo ( considerando que ya estuvo en la orden y se salió para no exponer a dora, a pesar de que igual están expuestas ). empezó a leer y a preguntarse si no será muy tarde para aprender algo útil para el contexto, como medimagia o algo así.

emmeline sigue trabajando en el ministerio de magia, pero eso no es lo que más ocupa su tiempo. aunque es buena cuando tiene que pelear, su verdadera fortaleza es su mente y, por eso, en estos últimos meses comenzó a trabajar en la parte estratégica de las misiones. se ha hecho bastante valiosa en las filas de la orden por lo mismo, porque desde esa oposición, ha podido ayudar a planear misiones exitosas. también usa su espacio en el ministerio para reunir información en caso de ser necesario.

Expanding a thought from a conversation this morning:

In general, I think "Is X out-of-character?" is not a terribly useful question for a writer. It shuts down possibility, and interesting directions you could take a character.

A better question, I believe, is "What would it take for Character to do X?" What extremity would she find herself in, where X starts to look like a good idea? What loyalties or fears leave him with X as his only option? THAT'S where a potentially interesting story lies.

In practice, I find that you can often justify much more from a character than you initially dreamed you could: some of my best stories come from "What might drive Character to do [thing he would never do]?" As long as you make it clear to the reader what the hell pushed your character to this point, you've got the seed of a compelling story on your hands.

Look, sometimes you just have a type and sometimes that type is an old ass yet handsome ancient god dragon man... thing.

Anyway, he is here! Zhongli was actually the first muse I was considering for myself back when the group was still a concept. Neuvillette promptly vibe checked both Zhongli and me (how very lore accurate of him), but the original thought never truly left, and I am excited to give him a go.

As a heads up - I don't think I have to explain to anyone that Zhongli has a lot of lore attached to him. A LOT. of LORE. attached to him. And, especially for someone who's only been playing Genshin for about 3 months, it's been something of a challenge to keep track of. I'm aware that I'm taking up a lot by attempting to write him and ain't gonna lie, it's been slightly intimidating. I've been doing my best to catch up and basically studying this guy like I'm about to write a master's degree on him. However, I still fully expect to miss some detail here and there. Please do not hesitate to let me know if I get some facts wrong or if something I've been wondering about has been said in some event or other.

Looking forward to writing Zhongli with all of you!
