my apex legends oc elegy, min seonghwa 🌊

she's an ex-idol with a synthetic larynx! i imagine she sounds like a well-tuned vocaloid

edit: i found the blurb i wrote for her and her skills! i hate to admit i've never played apex myself so the skills are probably way off-tuned, sorry! under the cut

tactical: showstopper (i switched the names around oops)

Launches a blast of sound that deafens enemies in a radius to her and her teammates' voicelines, footsteps, tacticals, and ultimates. (this would be so scuffed knowing apex and their audio issues)

passive: all eyes on me

Her stage presence increases the chance of the next ring location being centered on her or including her. (less effective with multiple elegy players on the field unfortunately)

ultimate: steal the spotlight

Creates a large ring centered on her location that increases all players' move speed. Teammates receive an additional reduced tactical cooldown, increased ultimate charge and regens shields to max.

now that classes are a thing i have no clue what she would be... i think assault?

known nicknames: commonly nicknamed tsuki by other kitsunes, liyue's adepti will sometimes call her yuè liàng (the moon in chinese.)

lore. tsukiko is one of the electro archon's many kitsune and one of the very few that remain in teyvat. many believe that tsukiko is one of ei's kitsunes specifically however deities and youkai alike know that tsukiko was makoto's only kitsune.

makoto died during the cataclysm when tsukiko was only 100 years old and still considered a kit. ei took on her sister's kitsune and tsukiko acted as an older sister to yae miko. despite being raised as "sisters," tsukiko has strong opinions regarding miko.

when ei left to meditate in her plane of euthymia, tsukiko fled inazuma and settled in liyue. she learnt few adeptal arts from cloud retainer and later became a platonic consort of sorts to zhongli; those to the public eye, they would appear as close friends to those unsuspecting of either's status.

tsukiko can fight but chooses not to and instead she insisted cloud retainer taught her healing techniques. zhongli will sometimes send her to heal the remaining adepti during dire times or accompany them for duties to ensure safe returns.

because of this, many believe tsukiko is just another adeptus. many do not know her true name, instead choosing to call her yuè liàng as they heard rex lapis once call her. she hides her ears and tails to avoid suspicion so it comes as a shock to many when they find out that she is not a liyue native, let alone not human.

❄ — Kaeya;

— He likes the look of piercings on others. If he were to ever have an S/O and they had jewelry, specifically nose, lip, stud earrings and a tongue piercing, he'd love them even more than he already did. He obviously has his own piercings, but it's different when it's on others.

⚡— Lisa;

— She definitely has favorite people who come to the Favonius Library and definitely makes sure they get what they need no matter what.

— Lisa probably tones down her nickname calling to people she doesn't like but with the people she likes, she uses them a lot, but if they were uncomfortable with that she'd definitely try and stop regardless of the person.

🔥 — Amber;

— She looks like she has a soft spot for kids. Like she's the type of person to be overly gentle with kids who are young. With older kids she still does that, but probably just less.

. • — In her little notes she draws little doodles. Whether it be the herbs she has to collect for Baizhu so she remembers what they look like or maybe even Changsheng and Baizhu occasionally. She's pretty good at drawing.

— Super animated when he's irritated or just ranting.

🌊 — Neuvillette;

— He strums his fingers on anything like a desk, his legs, etc when he's thinking or working to help himself focus on things.

— Very organized. Always knows where everything is and never really loses anything.

— Neuvillette probably spends about 30 minutes to an hour on his eyeliner to get it perfect and therefore wakes up an hour or two early to get ready.

— Definitely has suuuper thick hair and it's like a workout to brush it sometimes when he wakes up because of some of the snarls. His hair honestly feels like an actual weight sometimes.

— He sometimes struggles to put in the bow at the end of his hair, so he lets the Melusines do it for him.

— He has a good sleep schedule and gets his work done efficiently and quickly (though sometimes he falls asleep mid-day).

— Has a gummy smile.

— Neuvillette, being about 700 years old, probably has some evidence of that like slightly more defined cheekbones, you get my point.. I hope.

— He needs reading glasses and keeps them safely somewhere on him.

— Has a slightly rusty memory with some things (hence keeping his space organized). He remembers the important things, sometimes setting up alarms to help, but with smaller things he struggles.

— Since Neuvillette has a wheeze in his eng voiceline, I feel like if he was with someone he trusts (or the Melusines) he laughs more like that and maybe even snorts occasionally.. idk, he just seems like he would

🌊 — Tartaglia;

— he has a lot of freckles like on his face, shoulders, arms, you get the point. I feel like it adds more to his character.

— Tartaglia has scars all over, but most are covered up. I think it'd be kinda cool to think he has a little visible scar on his hip visible through his hip window. This also adds to his character since he fights so much.

— Idk why but I can see him with a slightly gummy smile.. (a little self-indulgent here lol).

notes: I don't actually play genshin but have been into it for about a year and a half to two years so I know most of the lore. Sorry for any inconsistencies lol. all the Fontaine headcanons (except for some of the Neuvillette headcanons) were made before Fontaines release

Still, he chose to stay, and in all the time he's been with us, he's spared me much worry. There are very few people I trust completely these days, but Thoma is one of them.

Interesting Things

When it comes to pets... Mm, yes, I'm definitely more of a dog person myself. Cats are very independent, which has its merits, but you'll only find obedience in dogs. They'll do whatever you tell them to. Hehe, what can I say — I suppose I find loyalty to be quite an attractive quality.*

Let me be quite clear: Most of the time, I simply enjoy watching people's facial contortions when they're put in an awkward position. Watching them squirm, you might say. Is that so strange? He clearly cares very much for his retainers. No matter their status, whether under him directly or not, no matter how much he likes to see them squirm or feed them suspicious things... it is irrefutable that he possesses a heart of gold.)

Kamisato Ayato: I didn't mind what became of me, but my family... No one can ever be allowed to trample over my precious family.*

*(Kamisato Ayaka says this of Thoma: “In a sense, I think of him as another brother, and as a full member of the Kamisato Clan.”, which seems to be a sentiment shared in some fraction by her brother. Thoma is just as part of the Kamisato family -- thus, precious.)
