Ghost: I'll take this one, I think I know my brothers well enough.

- Athena and Banshee love to read together on rainy days. She'll sit in his lap and hold the book, and Ban will turn the pages. He'll be a good dad someday, I think.

- Specs likes to paint or take his camera out to shoot photos. It depends on where we're stationed. One rainy nights, he'll knit when he thinks others are asleep.

- Phantom likes to watch the rain. He's always been that way, even when he was little, he'd get into the window on Kamino and just watch the rain when he couldn't sleep. I think it's soothing for him.

- Wraith likes to go over his data files and do experiments, organize the Crypt, likes to be busy. I don't think slowing down comes natural to him, even when he was recovering from losing his leg. Rai was still hobbling around on rainy days.

- Dax meditates in the rain. He'll go find a nice spot in the downpour and just meditate for hours.

- I like to cook for my family, write down recipes... sometimes I'll draw, but keep that bit a secret for me, would you? I like to have that just for me.

For the "table top" classes, these ones were very easy for me!

Sorcerers: Dax, Athena, and Phantom

Ranger: Specter

Druid: Wraith

Paladin: Banshee and I

I'd say I'm the best cook, hands down. I'd trust Wraith and Banshee in the kitchen, Phantom with rations, but Specter doesn't get to step foot in there with the intent on making anything other than hot water. The man commits food crimes and I will fight him to the death.

When Ghost has left, Stone comes in and looks around before talking to the interviewer.

Stone: I... I like to watch holofilms... doesn't have to be rainy for me to watch em, but I think I enjoy them more when the rain's here.

I'd be a warlock, or anti-paladin. Seems like if I'm to be painted the villain I might as well play the part.

I'm a decent cook. Nothing fancy like Ghostie Boy, but it's good.

Roxanne is good at cooking, but she's also used to cooking for groups. While traveling by herself, she never liked cooking just for herself. Honestly that's one of the nice things about the polyarmory, having more people to cook for.

Ra'd is used to traversing the wilderness, so just a week is fine.

For Zora, you don't really need to try. She's a sorta red button pusher and doesn't super watch her step. If you wanna put some effort in: make it look like an interesting artifact. The real trick is you gotta separate her from Meszahi and Roxanne lol

Yohan is honestly pretty competent in the kitchen! He always helped his parents with dinner as a kid, and while he may get a little too experimental at times, letting him cook is usually a safe bet.

MMMMMMMM DEBATABLE! Yohan usually has a pretty good routine in terms of self-care, but every now and then the ADHD gremlin takes over and suddenly it's 4 am and he's learning niche facts about lobsters on Wikipedia.

Argus thinks about his death more than he'd admit. He tells himself that he'll die after a long, happy life in the house he built, surrounded by his wife and kids and grandkids.

He remembers how his father died, terrified, struggling, clutching his heart. Sometimes his chest hurts, or his rhythm is irregular and he wonders if he'll go out the same way.

Sometimes the self-loathing gets too strong. He didn't leave the house for weeks so no-one could see the bruises around his throat and know he's a fucking failure even when it comes to dying.

🌌 If your OC has a nightmare, what’s it most likely about?

It varies. One night blood will fill his lungs and choke him as he silently screams. The next, he is in his childhood house wandering down endless hallways that keep getting longer and longer as something chases him.

Anything to do with his current obsession, even tangentially. It'll short out the reasoning center of his brain and before long you'll have trapped yourself an angry bastard man.

Dusk has a barracks bunk, so it's pretty drab. But, if he had his choice, he would have the most amazing bed, with the softest mattress avaliable to man, thick plush comforters and soft sheets. They would all be different colors, and the bed itself would be painted a variety of colors.

Dusk is an adept cook. Though he is best at cooking fish based meals, on account of being from a water planet. That said, the idea of living off of rations for the rest of his life was distressing enough that he takes some of his small amount of free time to learn new recipes.

Dusk would honestly choose monk. Quick and hard hitting, able to move across the battlefield faster than the rest of the party and able to stun enemies so that the rest of the party could remove them from the field.

Neat, he always makes his bed. Queen size, he always sleeps on the side nearest to the window furthest from the door. The other side almost always remains neat, unslept in. The sheets themselves are a navy blue, the comforter is a light purple with a white design. Every time he has to wash his sheets he has to painstakingly pick his long ass hair out of the sheets, its very annoying. Sorry if you end up eating a few strands.

(Fantasy) Japanese, German, English, French, conversational Mandarin, and he can read/write Latin. I think there's more? But I can't remember right now. Either way, both of the twins are Polyglots. Languages also come naturally to them.

In non 'canon' Ohm can also speak basic Icelandic!

Yes, and some of his abilities are normal but rare. Allogenes aren't supremely common unless they changed the lore again. But they're not not normal. It's his immortality and transference abilities that aren't considered normal.

He tries to, but he forgets to eat and sleep and drink water frequently. He's very busy.

Ohm frequently deals with nightmares regarding his karma. He can get physically injured from these nightmares, which makes them all the more terrifying. And he can't do anything about that.

Stares at when he got marred and then lost his brother in less than 5 minutes, looks back at you. anyways i think he'd do that differently.

Going to Snezhnaya, man he regrets the fuck outta that. He thinks about the what ifs all of the time.

Ohm was supposed to die young, he wasn't supposed to keep going. He knew he was going to die doing his duty. That was a fact of his life from a young age. And he feels betrayed that that was stolen from him.

OK OK OK so. quick tangent i've had to mess with the historical layout of houses in the 17th century because most people would have slept in their parents' room but like i wanted oscar to have his own room for plot reasons? so he had his own room and jake shared with rachel and miryam (and josh slept in their parents' room). his bed was probably fairly small and narrow (HE HAD HIS OWN BED. IT'S FANTASY I CAN DO WHATEVER. I HAVE FANTASY SHOWERS HE HAD A FANTASY SINGLE BED DONT WORRY ABOUT IT). his dream bed would be a four poster made of dark wood with loads of blankets and pillows like the standard fantasy prince bed.

🌧️ What is the favorite thing for you OC to do on a rainy day?

ToV: When she would live in the family mansion, she would usually read on rainy days. Finishing an entire book wasnt uncommon for her. Once she was no longer there, she often had to still work outside in the rain, but would sometimes take a stroll for fun. She'll still often read though.

WtDS: if there's no work to do, she loves to take a hot bath and listen to the rain hit the window. It's a great way to relax for her.

🎲 If your OC played a pen and paper RPG, what class would they pick? Warrior, mage, thief, ranger, cleric, paladin, druid, necromancer, bard (or other, if that’s not enough)

ToV: She would probably start as a cleric, making sure they have a healer, but then multi class as a druid as well. (Fun fact, I'm playing a druid in a campaign right now!)

WtDS: She'd pick bard for sure. She already works with music based magic, so it's natural for her.

🥪 On a scale from ‘burns water’ to ‘5 course menu’ how well can your OC cook?

ToV: A decent home cook, and nothing others can complain about with it. She has a few exceptionally delicious recipes under her sleeve though.

WtDS: A really good cook, but still in the realm of home cooking and not professional. For some reason though, baked goods are a difficulty for her.

🎲 If your OC played a pen and paper RPG, what class would they pick? Hauyne would usually play melee DPS classes, since she tends to prefer hyper-offensive tactics. But... I think her go-to would be the Dragoon class from the Final Fantasy franchise, particularly the FFXIV incarnation. Or whatever class that let's her wield a spear/polearm and do fancy acrobatics.

🌈 Does your OC speak more than one language? If so, how many and which? Yes, actually! Being from a multicultural country, it's no surprise that Hauyne is fluent is several languages and dialects, although it's not very evident since her friends are mostly only fluent in English (Galarian?). She's fluent in Malay, Mandarin Chinese, English and Japanese (specifically the Kansai dialect since her grandfather was originally from Kansai), but can cuss in these languages plus in the Hokkien and Cantonese dialects.

This also means she can get really creative with swearing. You should have seen her unleash a colourful litany of cusses when she's raging at a video game... or at a bs manoeuvre.

🥪 On a scale from ‘burns water’ to ‘5 course menu’ how well can your OC cook? I'd say somewhere in the middle, somewhat leaning towards '5 course menu'? Hauyne can cook decently enough, since she did live alone for years and had to keep herself well-fed somehow, but her specialty lies in making soups and broths. With other things? It's a bit of a hit and miss, especially if the style of cuisine is something that is not familiar to her. At worst, it'll just be slightly better than edible.

🌌 If your OC has a nightmare, what’s it most likely about? Losing her humanity and killing her friends/family/loved ones in cold blood.

Sometimes, it'd be her undergoing apotheosis and becoming the perfect neutral entity to cast Judgement upon the world (which almost always ended with her annihilating the entire fabric of existence, and ultimately destroying herself since she herself cannot live outside the fabric).

Other times, it's becoming a feral and unpredictable Tormented One like the ones encountered down at the Third Layer. And since she's the only one out of the main cast that's equipped to eliminate the Tormented Ones... you can guess how it'll turn out.
