Weekend WIP Game - Mist World Shorts

Hey y'know what, I'm going to like. make a few separate non-dated versions of this so I can have all the things? I've been working through my files etc so now they're organised better and I can see everything, so!

I'm also numbering out the scenes that are part written! so if you wanna chuck that into the mix. That is also good.

The WIPS

hi i haven’t been on here for a bit bc things are crazy but… i got my learners permit today 🤓

#purrs #well yesterday technically bc it’s after midnight now. but i did it!!! i passed and only missed one question. and ive been awake since 5 and #im so tired and i was SO scared studying and taking the test but it was worth it. and now i get to start driving :D #im kinda annoyed bc the question i missed technically had 2 correct answers and it was just like question logic ghat was the reason i got it #wrong not anything abt me not knowing smth… it was like ‘what is an example of something you could do to prevent aggressive driving’ or w/e #and one option was like always intend to use ur turn signals and another one was like don’t compete w other drivers. and i thought well the #turn signal one is a concrete action whereas the competition one is like.. what does that even mean bc it could be a lot of things. so i #picked the turn signal one but i was wrong :( oh well #anyways tomorrow i might get behind da wheel for the first time sooooo 😳 guess i actually can make progress in my life… lole! #also one year ago today (technically yesterday) i graduated….. 😳

I decided today to shampoo AND condition my hair to smell nice for the rigger today, but then the bus was late and I ended up pretty far down on the sign-up list. However, this meant that when midnight rolled around, my birthday commenced with myself tied up and nestled in the impressive biceps of an attractive Taiwanese rope top, which I am only willing to take as foreshadowing re: how the rest of the year is going to go.

so anyway i actually started watching the adobe flash animation series that’s been being updated since 2002 the other day haha

and yeah madness combat sure is mostly violence with a simple artstyle! glad i looked into it though because boy i’ve been having a fun time watching em. lots of little details. I spent way too much time pausing and rewinding them to squint at text on background posters or double-check character actions lol

The lack of dialogue also means I gotta pay more attention to try and figure out what’s going on with like, lore or whatever since boy howdy things are wack but it’s fun to try and analyze on my own anyway i wouldve never bothered to look into it if some discord buds weren’t already casual fans of it and/or played a bunch of FNF mods related to it but here i am, amusing myself

#I’ve written myself into an interesting corner in my original work #I have a character that is essentially a frankenstein’s monster in essence #she is more technically an animated corpse. it’s just that the initial soul inhabiting the body was not the one that returned #so in essence the Frankenstein’s monster parallel #is the new ‘person’ another soul mistakenly tied to the wrong body #or did a new soul bud within the now empty vessel? #then there comes the question on whether or not I’m perpetuating the ‘born sexy yesterday’ trope by going with the 2nd one #because there is a good marker in story on how a new soul could bud within the empty vessel #but the most time I could allow it is like 5 years for story reasons #it’ll be painfully sad if I wait a full 18 years to make sure the ‘bsy’ trope is well and truly negated #it’s like a balancing scales thing #because I think every writer likes when things are intertwined #like I could but that just means one of my other characters has to suffer more for longer #actually maybe I should #but it might idk weaken the stakes a bit #or I can like just add more world building and make more things happen? #or I can just take the five years and hope that it’s enough OTL #buckling in for like potential discourse I guess o(-( #because she’s gonna be an adult and is an adult #like the brain she inherited is of a I want to say 26-30 year olds #her carers treated her like someone treating an amnesiac #but I still want her to be a different soul than the original for narrative reasons #their tastes are different. their wants are different. their entire personalities are different except for one single thing #and idk what message that relays really I just wanted to write a trans Frankenstein’s monster that transitions post awakening #I think about her more than the plot device that’s the actual narrator of this story OTL #I think I’ll puzzle this out somehow o(-( #ramble #my things

Moving is a crazy fucking experience jesus christ

#today and yesterday and honestly the last year has been a lot #I have a lot of feelings right now and done have the mental energy to deal with them #but it's really fucking weird to leave the place ive lived in since i was 10 years old #technically 9 years old #and now im 26 and moving to a new state #it's a lot #today and yesterday were the first days where it really really hit me that it's happening #and it's the first time i felt blood chilling anxiety over it #since everything became official ive been so incredibly excited #and while the fear and sadness and hatred of change is in full gear right now #i know im going to be so fucking happy in the my town #im going to get to have an actual life outside of my bedroom #which is probably why it's so hard to leave this house #even though this house is making me physically sick because of horrific mold a big part of me doesn't want to leave #i wish i still had the excitement i had 3 days ago #it'll come back #i know it will #but right now it's a lot and im just trying to keep going #anyway guess this is my final post from the place i created this blog 12 years ago #bye bye jersey ❤️ #personal
