I Flower You
Mafia! Jun
The cute florist that Jun likes, heard something she was not suppose to hear.
Tumblr media
Wen Junhui is a very charming man. Every red flag seems to slip pass from the next victim. With his sultry eyes and seductive tone, anyone is at his mercy, giving him what he’s wants; information. Information that keeps Seventeen ahead of the other mafias. Information that keeps Seventeen as one of the best mafia family across Asia. Although he seduces and manipulates many people, his eyes always seem to linger back to the pretty little lady in the flower shop.
The flower shop is a place he often visits. Not just only for flower he buys for his potential victims but also for Park Y/n. The sweet face that always greets him and never questions why he buys so many different flowers that often. Her innocent eyes that peer into his sinful ones makes him go crazy. Jun calls her various nickname like she’s his. He wants her all to himself. But that’ll be a rookie mistake for taking a piece of eye candy when others are willing to destroy your only source of satisfaction.
“Welcome back, Jun.”
She smiled softly at him. He returned the smile and said “I would like a bouquet of purple lilacs please.”
She nodded as she went to the crates that held the various flowers and picked the ones that would best fit. But Jun noticed something. She was being quiet. By now, she would’ve told him how couples were being cute and picked flowers for each other or something like that. But she said nothing.
“Is there something wrong, baobei”
She said nothing as she nervously wrapped the flowers up. He furrowed his eyebrows.
“You can tell me anything baobao.” He said as his gently cupped her small hand.
She pulled her hands back to her side. “Um… I’m going to ask you something and you have to answer honestly, okay?”
He furrowed his eyebrows. “Okay?”
“What do you do for a living?”
Huh? That was the question?
“Oh. . . I told you already I’m a businessman. Remember for Highlight?”
“No you’re not”
He furrowed his eyebrows again.
“Why are you suddenly asking again?”
“These two men came in and said to tell you that Seventeen is now on their hit list and if you’re smart you’ll leave what you treasure most. Are you affiliated with Seventeen?”
“No. I just told you I work for Highlight. I don’t even know who would say that about me. I’m just as confused as you.”
“You’re not lying, are you?”
“Of course not! You’ve known me these past 10 months. Why would I lie about something like that?”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course, baobao”
She looked at him closely, trying to find a slip up in his expression but there was none. Maybe he was telling the truth? She walked out from behind the counter and walked in front of him. She looked up at him and gave him a big hug.
He smirked and returned her hug.
“I’m sorry for you accusing you like that. It’s just that the whole mafia thing scares me and a lot of young people come in and out of here. I didn’t want to danger them.” She mumbled into his chest.
“I would never bring harm to you, bao”
She gently pulled away from him and looked in the eyes for a second and said
“I would like to tell you another thing”
“I’m all ears.”
“I . . . like you Jun.”
She averted her eyes and continued.
“I don’t know how or when I fell for you but I fell hard. You and your sweet words is what I look forward to everyday. I love how you check up on me and walk me home sometimes. I appreciate you, Jun. and I was heartbroken when I heard what those two men said. I though your life would be in danger and I would lose you. But then again I was mad at you for coming in here and potentially danger of the locals. Oh god, I was rambling. I’m sorry! I understand if you don’t like me back. Thank you for your tim-“
He pulled her by the waist and placed his lips on her soft ones.
“You’re so cute.”
She blushed furiously as he kissed her again.
“I like you a lot too, Y/n. But bao, as much as I would like to stay and keep kissing all evening, I have flowers to give out. If you don’t mind, can you ring me up?” Jun said as he gently caressed her face.
“Oh my, I forgot about that. I’m sorry. I’ll do that right away.”
He chuckled as she stumbled her way back behind the counter and started to get to work.
She quickly calculated his cost and handed him receipt. She looked up at him and gave a soft smile. He smiled at her fondly and said “I should get going. These have to go to an important person. I’ll come get you at closing time, yeah?”
She nodded and leaned against the counter, towards him expecting something.
How cute.
He leaned down and pecked her lips. She pulled back and whispered “You should get going.”
Jun nodded and gave her one last kiss before waving her goodbye.
. . .
He wasn’t expecting for that to happen. This is a big risk since his face and name was now floating around. He knew the consequences of having someone special waiting for him.
But does he really care? No.
He did get what he wanted for so long, that sweet little lady at the flower shop. Jun was going to relish every bit of her soon enough and he was very giddy.
His mood changed drastically when he remembered what she told him earlier.
Seventeen on a hit list, huh?
He took out his phone and dialed the boss.
“Coups, it seems like we have to send out some higan flowers out soon.” He smirked.
He couldn’t waited to rip their tongues out for almost ruining his chance with Y/n. How dare they even show their face in her ethereal presence?
. . .
Somewhere far
“Tsk tsk. You could’ve came to our building and told us then. Maybe you wouldn’t be in the predicament. Now tell me how you know what you know and maybe I’ll let you go.” Jun said lazily.
Silence
“Hmm not going to talk?” He raised his eyebrows.
“Okay, Hao do your thing.”
Screams were heard across the basement. Soon enough, they fessed up and said they worked for NCT. The news hadn’t reach them yet so Jun was safe for now. The two men were suspicious of the group since that night at the party where Jeonghan ran off to save his relationship. It was kinda funny honestly. But these two decided to stalk them and see what they find so they can rank higher up. This was a blessing as NCT was not aware of their little rendezvous.
“Please let us go. We won’t even tell them.” One of them yelled out.
“Matter of fact, we’ll leave NCT and not even associate with SM as a whole. Please let us go.” The other cried out.
“Hmm, if you were smart, then you wouldn’t have gone and told the pretty lady in the flower shop. But you just had to run your mouth, huh. You could’ve rank number 2 or 3 if you told them. Our 10 year bond would’ve been broken. Seventeen would’ve fell and NCT would be on top next to BTS. Shame you couldn’t use your brain.” He said bitterly.
“You two will be meeting the rest of your comrade that tried to stop us in hell soon. Give a hi to them for us.” He laughed maniacally before aiming his gun on one of them men. He shook his head no as Jun was closer to pulling the trigger. His phone suddenly rang-
“Jun, it’s almost 7:30. I already closed the shop. Are you not coming?” Her sweet voice said putting him in a trance.
“I’m sorry, bao. I lost track of time. Give me 20 minutes. I’ll be there soon. Okay?”
“Okay”
He ended the call and looked up at Minghao. “Finish the job and make it look like an accident.” Jun said while putting his jacket back on. Minghao simply smirked. “Of course.”
. . .
“There you are! I was getting worried for a second there.” She said softly as she hugged him.
“It’s been barely 6 hours since we last saw each other. Do you like me that much?” He smirked.
“Maybe”
“Just maybe?”
He intertwined their hands and brought the back of her hand to his lips.
“Let’s go home, baobei”

Cross Border Cups With Scotland
How about Saudi Arabia fund a cross border club trophy with teams from Saudi Arabia, Scotland, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, France, North America, Africa and other European nations? Saudi Arabia has wealth, but Scotland has intense passionate supporters. Clubs like Glasgow Celtic, Aberdeen, Glasgow Rangers, Motherwell, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Dundee, and Dundee United could bring passionate games and lore to Saudi soccer. How about cross border cups for Scottish football. I say a good way for Scottish football to improve is to have cross border trophies on top of domestic and European football. There are an entire host of ideas that could happen. Bring back the Anglo Scottish Cup.Change the Scottish Premiership to a 16 team 30 game league. Then have extra cross border cups.Ideas could include a North Atlantic League Cup. With the top four to 8 SPFL clubs playing a group stage trophy with teams from Europe, Asia, or Africa, or North America, or Saudi Arabia. The Scottish allow Welsh and Northern Ireland club sides in the Scottish Challenge Cup.The Scottish and Welsh Rugby clubs travel to places like South Africa, and Italy. And UEFA soccer has seen Scottish sides travel to Central Asia. So football clubs could travel 5 or 8 times a year to the USA, or Africa. In UEFA trophies Scottish and Welsh sides have been to Central Asia.Other ideas could include having all Scottish Premiership sides not in Europe, plus selected Welsh Cymru Premier club sides, and perhaps Belgian, and North West French sides in the Football League Trophy. There could easily be 16 teams added to the EFL Trophy with a little reorganisation of the trophy to add the new sides.Perhaps all Scots Championsip sides, Welsh Cymru Premier sides, and some North Western French sides in the non-league FA Trophy.
Or a Celtic Nations Club Cup of Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Ulster, Cornish, Cumbria, Brittany, Isle of Man and Yorkshire club sides.Perhaps leading Scottish, Irish, French, Dutch, Belgian or German sides invited as guests into the Engliah FA Cup, or English League Cup.I do not support merging the British leagues, as people would wrongly think Scotland was part of England. And all the Scottish trophies in history would be relegated to the status of lower tier trophies. While all the English trophies would be seen as forerunners of the British trophies. So Scottish clubs would be seen to be reset as having won ZERO trophies. Also 30 trips into England a year might be too much bit 5 to 8 times a year would keep it a novelty and highlight of the season. We need Pan-Great Britain Cups on top of domestic and European football. If we had a British League a club like Dundee could make 25 trips year of up to 800 miles. That would be too tough. It has to be at a manageable number of games.

Past Life 🗿 Karmic Spread August 2023 - Aries
Gender I’m Picking Up On (in the past life): Young Asian Male, 10-12 years old
Who You Were: 2 Wands
What You Did: The Hanged Man
How It Ended: The Fool
What Karma Was Brought With You: Ace of Wands
Who You Brought With You: 3 Swords
Additional energy: 8 Cups
Past Life Oracle: Asia & Monk or Nun
Dreaming Way: Letter, Sun, Bear
Charm:
Red Moon 🌙 on 10 Swords (both)
Dagger 🗡 on King of Wands & King of Swords rev
Crab 🦀 on 6 Cups
Snowflake ❄️ on The Chariot - Past
Snowflake ❄️ on The Emperor - Present
This life was a very unfortunate experience for you, one with a deep & very painful betrayal, and you’ve carried this same experience with you into this life, with a different face. Still betrayal. While shuffling your cards, I saw an avalanche ❄️ and heard Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic” - specifically the line “he waited his whole damn life just to take that flight, and when the plane crashed down he thought, well isn’t this nice?” I don’t pick the messages 😮‍💨 Cruel irony seems to be the gist of it, because you did wait your whole damn life to make a long & arduous journey, probably to a monastery with Monk being highlighted. The Chariot came out to clarify that it was the journey itself and you never made it to where you were going.
I don’t get that you actually wanted to BE a monk. I can’t gauge a time period, not at all recent, but not super ancient either. I do see a cart being loaded up for the journey. And you having to wait for a specific age. 10, 11, and 12 seem to be the focus of your ages here when you started realizing who your father really was, and what he was making you do. If you ever truly realized, I think there were just moments of cruelty that gave you intuitive signs and red flags, but you still didn’t know the full extent of him. There was anticipation for this journey, you were excited for something new, and you wanted to please your family, who seemed to be the ones planning this whole thing for you, specifically the father. You waited years for this, both excited about taking a step towards “manhood”, honoring the plans of your family, and a lot of heavy pressure, sadness, and burden on your shoulders because you had to leave them, and didn’t want to. That thought hovered in your mind the whole time you waited, years, and it only made you feel very sad. It’s like you knew.
Your past father comes up as a man with two faces 🎭, King of Wands being someone sociable, a leader, someone charming that’s able to win people over to their side, they had a lot of contacts in your community, and thrived off of positive attention, respect, status & praise…but they were also someone that could be heartless, narcissistic, and extremely selfish, only out for themselves at all times. Had anyone even spoken up about this, no one would’ve believed them. He had that kind of power, and was well liked & respected. He knew the difference between right and wrong and he knew how to mask his true nature. You were to train to be a monk because it would make him look good, give him bragging rights, not because he had some deep faith & respect for the position, or genuinely cared about your well-being or future 😞
Your father was behind your death, I can’t see the specifics whether there was actually an avalanche…what I saw, because whatever it was, was HIS fault. Can people cause avalanches on command? I don’t think so. I really don’t know, he has the dagger charm on him. I feel more like it was a set-up, a scheme, maybe he said it was some “freak disaster” after the fact. I don’t get him ever receiving Justice in that lifetime, he got away with it. It could be either with The Tower here, a sudden disaster is possible. I just don’t see it 🤷‍♀️ Your cards of Letter, Sun & Bear are describing the moment where you received “news” that you could join, make the journey, you were “accepted” but I get that all being fake. It was all planned to lure you away from the home, and I don’t get any reason at all except that this man was a selfish & cruel individual. There is a snowflake ❄️ on this Chariot, I’ve already seen snow, this is showing snow, maybe you set out in a snow storm or something…the decision doesn’t feel right from the very start, like others besides the father should’ve known better and just didn’t speak up or do anything. Like taking a trip in the dead of winter, in a snow storm when it could’ve easily waited a week, a month, etc. to someone with decent intentions.
In this life, you’ve brought three karmic situations with you.
1. 10 Swords, twice, with Red Moon on both is a feeling of intense fear, paranoia, thinking the worst of something, which for some is a big problem, but for you it’s RIGHT. You’re right 💯 Your intuition is 1000% on point, if you feel people are working against you, they probably are. There is someone here, a lover, possibly a Cancer or has placements, that has betrayed you in this life. The lesson is to listen to your gut, and The World shows you’ve already learned this lesson, ended this connection & it’s all been completed.
2. Issues with an emotionally cold and distant father figure have followed you into this life, he may have abandoned you, or you feel forced to do this to him. He also has a snowflake on him, and there could be some story with you two about being trapped in the snow or a blizzard of some kind & it being a difficult experience for you. In this life 💯 To clarify, it’s not the same father, and this person isn’t cruel, they just don’t show up for you, they don’t feel comfortable in “a fatherly role”, and they’ll take initiative with anything in their life except when it comes to personal development and relationship building. Very emotionally unavailable, and you justifiably have deep wounds from him for that. Sending you so many virtual hugs & love rn.
3. Because you passed young, I get this a lot for these younger stories and especially with Aries placements, your SOUL is eager for new experiences! You cannot waaaait to jump into new things, try new foods, travel new places, do everything you’ve never done just to say you have. But Wheel of Fortune is both a blessing and a curse. When it works out for you, it’s an incredible experience, but there are probably long pauses, delays, reasons you can’t do this all of the time, in between. It’s like in your life, Spirit will knock down a whole tree to keep you from escaping your town for the next 6 months, so have a seat. You can’t explain it, but you’re not crazy, and you’re not someone that just gives excuses either, it’s often literally out of your control. You could feel like a slave to fate at times because of this. When luck is on your side though, take advantage, you can have some incredible experiences where everything goes in your favor too 💜 Trust that your blocks are blessings & you’re just not meant to know why, but it’s for your highest good.

Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan's Triumphs and India's Concerns - A Preview of the High-Stakes Clash
Tumblr media
The upcoming clash between Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup 2023 on September 2nd has generated a wave of anticipation and tension. Pakistan's recent significant victory has added an extra layer of complexity to this highly awaited encounter. In a match preceding this clash, Pakistan secured a resounding win against Nepal, setting a strong precedent. As the rivalry heats up, India's apprehensions seem to be growing due to Pakistan's recent surge in form.
Tumblr media
**Dominating Performance Against Nepal:**
Pakistan demonstrated its prowess in the first match of the Asia Cup 2023 by defeating Nepal by a margin of 238 runs. This victory not only showcased Pakistan's batting might but also highlighted its remarkable prowess in bowling. Pakistan's comprehensive triumph against Nepal has raised eyebrows in the cricketing world, particularly in India.
**Babar Azam's Stellar Form:**
Captain Babar Azam led from the front with an exceptional century. His well-calculated innings of 110 runs in 110 balls laid a strong foundation for Pakistan. Babar's remarkable strike rate and subsequent half-century in just 20 balls reflected his exceptional form and adaptability. Babar's innings, powered by four sixes, contributed significantly to Pakistan's total score of 151 runs.

**Emerging Threat for India:**
Babar Azam's excellent form could pose a serious challenge for India. Additionally, Iftikhar Ahmed's impressive 109 runs off 71 balls marked his maiden century in One Day Internationals. Ahmed's performance has the potential to address Pakistan's middle-order concerns, showcasing his versatility in various cricketing departments.
**Bowling Brilliance and Spin Mastery:**
Pakistan's bowlers continued their splendid form in the match against Nepal. Shaheen Afridi's early breakthrough with two wickets in the first over set the tone. Naseem Shah, in his first over, took a crucial wicket, and Haris Rauf's stellar mid-over performance secured him two wickets as well. Pakistan's spinners, especially Shadab Khan, displayed their mettle, taking four wickets for 27 runs in 6.4 overs. Nawaz's contribution with one wicket in his two overs further bolstered Pakistan's bowling prowess.
**The Ominous Message for India:**
Pakistan's resounding victory against Nepal sends a strong message to India. This victory not only puts Pakistan in good stead but also serves as a warning to India. If Pakistan maintains this level of performance, the upcoming clash against India could be a closely contested battle, promising a thrilling encounter between the two cricketing giants.
**Emergence of Pakistan's All-Rounders:**
Pakistan's recent victory against Nepal was also a showcase of its all-round strength. Iftikhar Ahmed's century and his vital role in the middle order have undoubtedly eased the worries of Pakistan's team management. His ability to contribute both with the bat and the ball adds depth to Pakistan's lineup. Additionally, his century might just be the boost Pakistan needed to address their middle-order concerns, a facet that had been under scrutiny in recent times.
**Impressive Bowling Ensemble:**
The Pakistani bowling attack once again proved its mettle. Shaheen Afridi's knack for early breakthroughs and his fierce pace provide a promising start to the team. Naseem Shah's ability to extract wickets early in his spells showcased his potential to unsettle the opposition's top order. Haris Rauf's consistent performance and his knack for picking up crucial wickets during the middle overs adds a valuable dimension to Pakistan's bowling attack.
**Spin Wizardry and Indian Batting Challenges:**
The Asia Cup also witnessed Pakistan's spinners weaving their magic. Shadab Khan's ability to bamboozle batsmen and create pressure in the middle overs cannot be overlooked. His economy rate and wicket-taking ability are bound to pose a challenge for the Indian batting lineup. As Indian batsmen have struggled against quality spin in the past, Pakistan's spin attack might just be the X-factor that could make the difference in the high-stakes match.
**Setting the Stage for India vs. Pakistan Clash:**
With this convincing victory, Pakistan has set the stage for an intense showdown against India. The match between these arch-rivals on September 2nd promises to be a battle of nerves and skills. Pakistan's recent successes have boosted their confidence and put India on high alert. As both teams gear up for this monumental clash, the cricketing world braces for an epic showdown that could shape the course of the Asia Cup and set the tone for the future matches between these two cricketing giants.
**Conclusion: A Tale of Anticipation and Rivalry:**
The Asia Cup 2023 has already presented us with intriguing narratives and performances that have left cricket enthusiasts at the edge of their seats. Pakistan's triumphant march and their well-rounded approach have not only added excitement to the tournament but have also raised the stakes for the forthcoming clash with India. As the cricketing world holds its breath, we can only wait to witness whether Pakistan's recent surge will continue, or if India will rise to the challenge and reclaim their dominance on the field. The Asia Cup stage is set, and the cricketing drama is about to unfold!

Group H
Expected to move on: Germany, Colombia
Expected to exit in group stage: Morocco, Korea Republic
Germany
FIFA Ranking: 2
Reputation:
Much like the men’s side, the German women’s team is a MACHINE. Unless the unthinkable happens again (see: the men’s side 2018) Germany should get out of the group with ease, and I would definitely rank them as a favorite to win the World Cup. Their style of play is crisp, clean, and a little bit curt...if that makes sense. They will lay their bodies on the line, and they will lay your body on the line too if you’re playing against them. They shockingly failed to qualify for the 2020 Olympics, but were runners-up in the Women’s European Championship in 2022, which is a much more accurate indicator of their strength.
Player Pool:
Germany is another team with extraordinary depth, with all their players on top domestic teams or premier teams in England or France. Alexandra Popp, new captain of the team, also leads in goals scored for German, but is really known for the use of her large stature to win duels. Every position is filled with veterans, and Germany has been skillful in ensuring that even its younger players have gotten experience in big games.  Every player is a team player and can be a standout in their own right, so it’s hard to pick specific players to highlight. That being said, of course there are players that rise to the top–Lena Oberdorf, Sara Däbritz, and Melanie Leupolz all deserve a shout out.
2019 WWC performance:
Germany looked okay during the women's World Cup, but less confident than many people had anticipated. They made it through the group stage with narrow 1-0 wins against Spain and China, and an easy win against debutante South Africa. They plowed over Nigeria in the round of sixteen, but were stymied by Sweden in the quarterfinals.  On many past occasions, they had beaten Sweden, so many were surprised when the game went the other way. Dabritz, Magull, and Popp led the scoring, while young newcomer Gwinn and veteran Hegering held down the midfield and defense, playing all 450 minutes of their tournament run.
Colombia
FIFA Ranking: 26
Reputation:
Colombia’s women’s team has historically done well in South American competition, feuding with Brazil for top honors, even as their own federation doesn’t support them as much financially as they do their men’s side.  Earlier in 2023 the Colombian Federation began an agreement with FIFA to begin increasing funding for women's soccer at all levels.  That won’t help the team in this World Cup, and they will be fighting tooth and nail against Korea Republic for the second spot in the group.
Player Pool:
Colombia has one of the older teams of the World Cup, with more veterans than newbies. After missing the 2019 World Cup, they will need to rely on players that were around for the 2015 World Cup, like Catalina Usme,  Daniela Montoya, and keeper Sandra Sepúlveda.
2019 WWC performance:
Did Not Qualify
Korea Republic
FIFA Ranking: 17
Reputation:
South Korea is recognized as “Korea Republic” by FIFA. Asia’s women’s football culture has been improving on a regional stage, but has struggled to keep up internationally, and Korea Republic  is no exception. The best players on this team are the ones that leave Korea to play in a European or American league. They have never qualified for the Olympics. Their best result in a Women’s World Cup came in 2015, when they made it out of the group stage, but they couldn’t repeat the result in 2019, and likely won’t do it again in 2023.
Player Pool:
Ji So-yun (midfielder) made a name for herself and for Korea with a long career for Chelsea in England, but moved back to South Korea in 2022. Cho So-hyun is another team veteran playing in England, and the pair form a strong midfield. Captain is Kim Hye-ri, a veteran defender. She plays with about half the roster for South Korea’s Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels team, the top side in Korea’s domestic league.
2019 WWC performance:
Not great. They had a rough group, pulling Norway and France, so their only chance to advance was a third place spot, which neither they nor Nigeria achieved. They scored one goal in the tournament.
Morocco
FIFA Ranking: 73
Reputation:
Morocco reached their first World Cup under the distinguished coach Reynald Pedros, who previously had coached Olympique Lyonnais Féminin to the french championship. Under Pedros, the team has grown to be one of the best teams in Africa. However, they have a record of falling short against teams outside of Africa, and will need this tournament and more international exposure to become a contender.
Player Pool:
Captain Ghizlane Chebbak has played for Morocco for the last 10 years and is their top goalscorer. They have an up and coming forward in Rosella Ayane, who played for the English national youth teams, but switched to Morocco for her senior caps.
2019 WWC performance:
