The Truth Untold
CEO! Jeonghan
Y/n’s son goes missing and there’s only 13 suspects that last seen her son. One of them happens to be her husband, Jeonghan.
Bad clue inspired
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It has been approximately three months since Jeongmin was last seen. Y/n was restless. Her beautiful baby boy was missing and she was a wreck. What made it worse was that fact that her husband, CEO Yoon Jeonghan, was not really bothered by the fact that he was missing.
Where was the caring father that he showed Jeongmin? Where the loving man that put his family first?
She was anxious and nervous by this. It’s as if her status as a detective meant nothing in this moment. The court and other officials forbade her from digging into the case. This was a family related case and she wasn’t allowed to have any bias towards anyone.
That caused her to get even more mad. No matter what, she’ll find her precious baby boy.
. . .
She decided to visit an old friend. A friend that go way beyond her and Jeonghan’s history together.
“Hmm~ What’s this? Miss goodie two shoes at my office~?”
She looked almost defeated as she had to ask him for help.
“Seokjin, please help me”
Kim Seokjin. A man that has so many underground connections, that even he forgets who he knows. They coincidentally met one night when his wife was kidnapped and he had to turn to a real detective instead of intel from the mafia organizations. Her time and devotion to find his wife was admirable to him that he kept her around for certain small tasks. However, Y/n distances herself from him as the rise of scandals among officials were coming out at a rapid speed. She didn’t want to harm her or his reputation so she kept a safe distance from him. His, obnoxious behavior, seems to have never changed like all those years ago.
“My, my~ you seem so desperate. What’s the special occasion~?”
She looked to the side and sighed. She didn’t want to regret this but he was making a bit difficult to not.
“My son is missing and the court is not really taking it seriously.”
His eyebrow quirked up as he smirked slightly.
“So I’ve heard. Well then, what’s my repayment?”
“Jin, you still owe me for helping you find your wife all those years ago”
He heartily laughed as his smirked broadens.
“You’re right I suppose. However, your husband is a very powerful man. If we get caught, it’ll only plummet you and your career as detective. I’m protected by Mafia Law. Only you know how your husband acts so proceed with caution. You’re aware of all this right?”
She nodded. “I know. I’m ready to take any precautions moving forward. Just please help me find him”
“Very well then Miss Y/n, it’s a pleasure to work with you again.”
He shook her hand to seal the deal.
. . .
It’s been officially four months since her son has been missing. Her and Jin were able to list out 13 possible candidates that could’ve known what happened to her son.
One and two. Choi Seungcheol and Lee Jihoon.
Business partners and close childhood friends. Stick together like glue and never make a decision without consulting each other. They own the music academy that Jeongmin used to attend.
Three and four. Lee Seokmin and Boo Seungkwan.
Both music teachers at Jeongmin’s music academy. Jeongmin often spent extra time after classes to stay with either one of them for extra practice.
Five. Seo Myungho.
His personal bodyguard slash butler that has been assigned by Jeonghan to protect Jeongmin. He’s almost everywhere with Jeongmin and does almost everything with him.
Six and seven. Lee Chan and Kwon Soonyoung.
Both run a dance studio that the music teachers frequent. They’ve been seen with Jeongmin plenty of times.
Eight and nine. Joshua Hong and Hansol Chwe.
They both are assistants to Yoon Jeonghan and Lee Jihoon respectively. They seems to be very close despite working at two separate companies.
Ten. Jeon Wonwoo.
Personal tutor and mentor of Jeongmin. Spend a lot of time with Jeongmin after school and often takes him out for ice cream as a reward.
Eleven and twelve. Kim Mingyu and Moon Junhwi.
Personal chefs at the Yoon residents. Often seen with Jeongmin making dinner or desserts. They always take him out to fields and farms to let him pick fresh vegetables and fruits of his liking.
Thirteen. Yoon Jeonghan.
Jeongmin’s father and Y/n’s Husband. A wealthy and power man that over looks almost all of Korea’s wealth. His influence is unmatched and he knows it. He was the last official person to ever see Jeongmin before he went missing.
. . .
She dissected through their entire schedule. Making notes and comments about their daily lives. She needs to see a solid pattern before making any assumptions about any of them. Her increasing anxiety was keeping her on edge.
Jeonghan seemed to have noticed this slight change in her. He watched her look out into the calm and cool night from the balcony. He hugged her from behind and rested his chin in her neck.
“You okay baby?”
She only hummed a response and continue looked at the night scene.
“You know everyone’s trying their best to find Jeongmin. Don’t you worry your pretty little head. He’ll be back before you know it.” He says as he gently kissed down her neck.
“Are they really? It’s been four months Jeonghan. I want my son now.”
“Shh, honey. He’ll be back before we even know it. We’ll see the truth behind his disappearance and everything will be fine”
Oh, how true this statement is. However, the outcome is not what is to be expected.
. . .
Her eyes raked through the various pages of information about these men. Their every move and decision was document. What was the cause of this?
How are these men connected?
Do they really know what happens to Jeongmin?
These questions and thoughts are flooding her brain. She constantly is reminded that her beautiful son is not with her and it kills her everyday.
Her husband doesn’t seem to be bothered by their son’s disappearance. It irks her so much as he doesn’t care about their only son’s disappearance.
To be continue. . .
. . .
Hi! This is my first time doing any type of series! I really like the bad clue series from going seventeen and I wanted to make something inspired by it. This had been in my draft for months now and I just wanted to get something out already, lol. I honestly don’t know how long this will take, or how many parts there might be. So, I hope you enjoy as I write this.
Thank you ♡

I Love Boo The Most
Husband! Seungkwan
He will always be your best friend because now he’s your husband.
Part I, Part II
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“You know that’s the wrong one, right?” Y/n said as she flipped through the instructions.
“Honey, I know what I’m doing!” Seungkwan huffed.
“I don’t want the baby’s crib to break apart in the middle of the night.”
“It won’t, trust me!” He whined at.
Y/n took a mental note to call Wonwoo, and make him double check it.
“I’m double, triple checked the instructions!” He said. “I want the baby to have the best sleep in this crib.”
She smiled fondly. “I’m still going to ask Wonwoo oppa.”
“Why do you never trust me with building things?!” He whined again and dropped the screwdriver on the floor. She laughed as she ruffled his hair.
. . .
“Jagi?” She said softly.
Seungkwan merely hummed in his sleep.
“Baby?” She nudged him a little bit and got nothing from him again. “Kwan-ah?” And again she got nothing.
“Seungkwan!” She pushed him. “What?” He whined out, eyes still close.
“The baby’s hungry and the baby wants a cheese burger with extra pickles and some fires. And ooh a cola wouldn’t hurt either.” She said as she rubbed her belly.
He opened his eyes enough to slightly side eye her as she sheepishly laughs.
“Please, jagi, for the baby.”
Seungkwan huffed before he got up and said “go wear a sweater and some fuzzy socks.”
“Oh kwannie, when I mean extra pickles, I really mean it.”
“Yeah yeah, hurry your cute butt up”
. . .
The thing about Seungkwan is that no matter if he was her boyfriend, her fiancé, and now her husband, he treats her the same as when they were best of friends. With that being said, he often doesn’t put up with her nonsense. And now that she was very pregnant, she was very hormonal.
Like now, how she was yelling at him for not taking out the trash and how he left the toilet seat up by accident. Times like these were made for Seungkwan’s sweet taking.
“I told you to take it out and you didn’t! That’s all I asked you! Do you want the baby to see this?!”
“The baby won’t care because the baby will be too busy looking at his or her beautiful, strong mother and her sidekick husband.” He said with loving eyes as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ears. She blushed and leaned her head into his chest. She smiled and whined out “kwannieee”
Or when he forgot to bring ice cream back home after work. Ooh was she livid. “I just wanted some ice cream and you didn’t get me anything!” She half scream half cried that. So he did his magic. “That’s because I wanted to take you to that new ice cream parlor. I heard they give discounts on Wednesday.” He said as caressed her face. Her eyes lit up and her tears stopped. “R-really, kwannie?”
“Of course, now sit down so I can put your shoes on.”
She was ugly crying at that point “I don’t deserve you.” She whined out.
Seungkwan only smiled at that. His smiled held a different meaning though. Thank god he got home before all the shops closed.
. . .
Today she wanted to eat pizza with chocolate chips cookies and Seungkwan was not pleased.
“Baby think it through, you’re going to ruin a perfectly good pizza with cookies”
She immediately glared at him. “Oh I’m sorry are you pregnant? Are you currently 6 months pregnant with an aching back and feet??!”
He immediately surrendered. “I’m sorry honey. Should’ve never said anything”
“Good, now here’s $50. Go get it honey”
“Babe, pizza is only like $10?”
“Go get yourself one. All for yourself so I don’t feel guilty for not sharing”
“Aw~ babe~ you spoil me so much!” Seungkwan says in an almost flirty tone.
“Anything for my side-kick husband” she obnoxiously winks at him.
. . .
“Babe! The baby is coming right now!” She yells out from the sofa.
“Oh my goodness, are you okay baby?”
She glared at him for his obvious question. “Does it look like I am Seungkwan??!!”
“O-oh, I’m sorry! Here let me help you. I’ll go get the baby bag too”
Approximately six hours later, their baby girl was born. They were so happy and content as they looked at their baby girl.
“She’s so perfect like you” Seungkwan says softly as she lovingly looks at his two girls.
“And she has your pretty nose and cheeks” y/n replied warmly to her husband.
He blushes softly before saying, “Thank you for always being beside me, my love. You just always know what to say. I’m glad you’re all mine.”

I Love Boo More
Fiancé! Seungkwan
He’s still your best friend but he’s now your fiancé.
Part I, Part III
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seungkwan knew that he loved her the moment he laid eyes on her. So why was it difficult to tell the love of his life to marry him? He’s confident about most things but right now he was so nervous. He needed to come up with a plan. He deployed his 12 friends for the job. It can’t possibly go bad, right?
He likes to think he knows Y/n the best. He knows her favorite make up brands, and her favorite boba order. Ooh and her love for anything cute. But why can’t he figure out how to do this proposal?!
How will he plan it out?
How does she want it?
Will it be romantic enough?
Will she laugh?
Ugh!!
Seungkwan huffs out before dialing Chan.
“Meet me at our usual spot and tell the others as well. ”
. . .
The “usual spot” was actually Seokmin’s and Soonyoung’s place. The two boys often let all the boys hang out there since they have the biggest apartment amongst all their friends.
“So, what’s got you all twisted?” Chan said as he stuffed his face with fries and cheese burger that Mingyu brought.
“I can’t think of a single good way to propose to y/n.” Seungkwan whined out.
“Why are you stressing? It’ll come naturally kwan-ah. Don’t fret over it.” Joshua said as he sipped his cola.
This caused Seungkwan to glare at him before he said, “You sweated through two shirts before even asking noona to be your wife. I don’t want to hear anything from you.”
Joshua choked a bit before everyone started laughing. “You’re so annoying.” Joshua muttered.
“Anyways, how do you want it to go?” Jun asked genuinely.
“I don’t know yet. I don’t know if I want a fancy restaurant or romantic beach date or late night walk or dinner with-“
“Dinner with friends!” Jeonghan said excitedly.
“Wha..t”
“Look, we’ll have a get together somewhere. Then one of our girlfriends can distract her while we set up. Then boom! You ask her the million dollar question.” Jeonghan finished with a proud smile.
“Hyung. . . That’s a great idea! I should’ve thought of that.” Seungkwan said as he let out a sigh of relief.
Jeonghan put his hand on Seungkwan’s shoulder and said “Don’t worry about anything. You just get the ring and practice your speech to her. It’s okay to be a little nervous because it’s big step. But all your hyungs will be there, so don’t worry.”
“Thanks hyung. I really appreciate all of you guys..”
“Ooh so when he says “don’t worry” it’s fine but when I say it, I’m antagonizing you.” Joshua huffed.
Everyone bursted out laughing and Seungkwan pulled him in for a hug. A little smiled peaked out of Joshua’s lips.
. . .
He was so nervous.
It’s been weeks since their little hangout and he’s prepared so much with them. They rehearsed and rehearsed everything to make sure it was fool proof.
Currently they were at cheol’s beach house and were playing by the beach.
The propose was set to take place during sunset.
Seungkwan felt like his whole body was going to explode from anxiety and excitement.
“Why do you look like you’re about to crap yourself?” Y/n said.
“No I don’t!” Seungkwan said offendedly. He pouted as he looked at her.
“How could you say that to your handsome boyfriend?”
She snorted slightly. “Because it’s true kwannie. I’ve never seen that face before”
“So you concluded that I need to take a crap??!”
She laughed as she gently hit him. He smiled fondly at her before they were interrupted.
“Hate to break you two love birds up, but we’re starting beach volleyball. Boys vs girls” Seungcheol’s wife says.
. . .
They played for a while and the girls ended up winning. The girls cheered as the went to the other side of the beach to collect more shells.
The plan was totally working as all the girls all have y/n distracted.
“Go! Go! Go!” Dokyeom whisper yelled as he finally saw that they were in the clear.
The boys helped set up everything. From the sign, to the beautiful petals that’s covered the floor of the beach towel. Seungkwan was getting nervous again.
“H-hyung, I’m not ready. What if I mess up? What if I embarrass myself? What if she leaves me for being stupid?!”
Seungcheol gripped his shoulder to help ground Seungkwan.
“Look, we’ve already came this far, so don’t back out. She’s your girlfriend and she’s loved you through everything. A little stutter won’t steer her away. Believe in yourself and in her.”
Seungkwan nodded as they all waited patiently for the girls to come back.
. . .
It was currently 7:56 pm and the sun casted a beautiful orange glow to the sky. The girls will be coming back in approximately 5 minutes as Joshua’s wife texted them.
Seungkwan heard her beautiful laugh as they were coming closer. The boys got into place as the girls guide her to the proposal area.
It was beautifully decorated with her favorite flowers and favorite colored balloons.
Jeonghan’s wife guided her to the middle to stand there. Seungkwan stood behind y/n and waited for Jeonghan’s wife to queue y/n.
“Turn around” she says to Y/n.
Y/n turns around around and sees Seungkwan on one knee. She gasps and placed her hands over her mouth in shock.
“My beautiful y/n. You’ve always made me feel so wanted and loved. I love waking up to you and your beautiful presence. When I first met you when we were just teenagers, I knew that you were the one for me. You always lifted me up when I was down. You’ve made me the happiest man just by your smile. No words could ever repay the love and affection you’ve given me. But I can think of four words that can express my love for you.
Will you marry me?”
. . .
She hugged him tightly and repeatedly said yes.
“I will!”
He gave her a kiss as he gently slipped the ring on.
“You’ve truly made me the happiest man on the planet, my love”

Beautiful
Oblivious! Soonyoung
Soonyoung just speaks his mind without putting a filter on. And so, his words were causing y/n to turn into a blushing mess.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
No one really talked to y/n since she was so shy. She has one friend that was her neighbor, but she goes to a different school. And lot of the girls in her class were a bit stuck up. Always feeling the need to put other girls to make themselves feel high and mighty.
Y/n was also a victim of that. Since she dressed very modestly and didn’t wear revealing clothes, a lot of the girls would call her a nerd. It didn’t help that she wore glasses. She didn’t feel that ugly but after constantly hearing their words, it makes her uncomfortable to look at the mirror sometimes.
. . .
“Wow, did you see what y/n was wearing?! She’s wearing short sleeves. Tch, she wants the boys’ attention so bad.” One of the girls with the unmatched foundation said.
Y/n mentally rolled her eyes at that. She’s one to talk. If she wasn’t so shy and more out spoken, it would’ve been over for everyone in this class.
Soon it was lunch time and after people ate, they made their way back to class to pass time. Soonyoung was yawning for the nth time that day. He was so bored and just wanted to take a nap after class ended. He was aimlessly listening to the guys and girls talk about whatever, not really paying attention.
Then y/n walked in. The girls started to whisper a little before snickering. Y/n of course ignored them.
“Soonie, who do think is the most prettiest girl in this class?” One of the girls with an obnoxious shade of pink lipstick said.
“Huh?” Soonyoung’s as he was snapped away from his day dream.
He looked around as the girls eagerly waited for his response.
“I think . . “ he looked around again before his eyes landed on the back of y/n’s head. He felt that familiar feeling of butterflies in his stomach but he didn’t know what that meant. So, naturally, he just went with what his gut felt.
“I think y/n is the prettiest girl here.”
Silence.
Utter silence.
Y/n was a taken a back. Her face was red hot as she slowly turned her head to meet Soonyoung. His tiger like eyes already staring back at her.
One of the girls scoffed. “Huh?! Her??! She’s so ugly and really weird. How could you even think that?!” She said irritatedly.
“I don’t think she’s ugly. I think she has beautiful eyes and her hair is very pretty when it moves in the wind. Ooh and she has the sweetest smile.” He said nonchalantly.
The girls were glaring daggers at y/n and she quickly looks away. Before anything else could be said, the teacher walked in.
. . .
Once they were dismissed from the last class, she quickly made her way out. She didn’t want to deal with all those girls. She was able to make it out and walked to the park. It was still very sunny and all the elementary kids were also making their way to the park.
She said on the bench underneath the shade and basked in the warm spring air. It’ll be summer break soon, and she won’t have to see anyone again.
Two more months.
She finds herself muttering the time left in class to help her calm herself from those rude girls.
She took glasses off to gently rub the bridge of her nose. Y/n tilted her head up slightly and closed her eyes for a moment before open them up again. Her eyes took in the clouds and used her imagination for what the clouds could resembled.
“Wow, y/n, you really are beautiful.”
Y/n slightly jerked back in surprised and looked down to see who said that.
It was Soonyoung.
“W-what?” She said as she was trying to cover her face and move away.
Soonyoung only moved forward and grabbed her wrists softly pushing them away from her face.
“I always thought that you were beautiful with your glasses but I think your beautiful eyes glisten better without the glare of your glasses.” Soonyoung was in awe with how her beautiful was even more beautiful.
“Soonyoung-shi, you’re too close.” She whispered out as her face was beet red.
He didn’t reply either because he didn’t hear her or didn’t really care.
“It’s like your glasses were protecting your beauty because it’d be too much for anyone to handle. I can’t believe I got witness y/n’s true form.” His hand gently brushed away the baby hairs from her cheeks.
That was able to snap y/n out of the trance she was in. Her gentle hands push him away and she stood up and put her glasses back on.
He looked at her and said bluntly “go out with me.”
“W-what?”
“I said go out with me?”
“Don’t you think that’s a bit direct?”
“I was always told to not beat around the bush. So, I want you to go out with me”
Her already hot face heated up more.
“Soonyoung. . I’ll have to respectfully decline.”
Soonyoung’s eyes widened, making him resemble more of a hamster now. “W-why? Why is that? Please tell me.”
Y/n took a deep breath to calm her poor heart.
“It’s just that I don’t know you well enough to go out with you. I’m sorry.”
“You don’t have to be sorry. That’s totally valid.”
There was a moment of silence as she can practically hear Soonyoung thinking.
“Okay, how about this. . can we be friends first?”
She smiled softly before saying “only if you want to be.”
“Yes! Yea! Of course!” He said urgently as he nodded his head eagerly.
“Okay then, let’s be friends.” She said as she smiled at him.
He returned the smiled and replied “I’ll make you feel those same butterflies that you make me feel. Then you’ll be mine.”
“You’re really straightforward. I don’t know how I’ll deal with this.” She felt herself melting more and more by his direct responses.
He only smirked before walked up to her and standing right in front of her. He brushed her hair behind her ears and finally said.
“Get used to it because I’ll make sure that it’s known that you’re going to be mine.”

Antithesis
An-tith-uh-sis
noun
a person or thing that is the direct opposite of someone or something else.
Assassin! Minghao
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A skilled assassin and never missing a single hit. That’s what Xu Minghao was. A man with few words and lets his weapons do the talking. So, it comes as a surprise to his other members when a cute and bubbly Y/n appears by his side on his off days.
They’re total opposites. Everything was polar opposite. From their clothes, music tastes to even their preferred food. Even though she was shy, she could talk so freely to him. His stoic face never changing as she smiled and talks about her day. At first his members thought it was to mess with them. But the more she came around, the less they thought about that.
Now they wanted to know, what was attracting them to each other? They understood the concept of opposites attracting but, they really couldn’t believe it. One of the most ruthless man they know on the team, was letting a pastel princess talk about her dilemma between a pink and white dress or lavender and white dress. It was almost outrageous at this point.
“Hao, so should I get the pink one or the lavender one?”
“Why not get both?” He said stoically.
“Huh? Both? I don’t have that kind of money to get both.”
“I’ll buy it.”
. . .
It was unknown to the boys on how those two met.
“Maybe, they met at the same bar?” Soonyoung suggested.
“No, no. They must’ve met at that one mall he likes going to.” Seokmin said.
“That expensive ass mall??” Seungkwan chipped in.
“Yeah, he’s always there to get his collection of black clothes.” Seokmin finished.
“No, obviously they met at one of his missions coincidently and now they’re inseparable.” Seungkwan said with a look of satisfaction.
Minghao snorted quietly as he heard their convo. That’s not how they met.
Minghao was currently in the frozen yogurt shop after just assassinating a politician and he was staring at his phone. He was waiting for the line to progress and looked up to see that the employees were putting the toppings in the containers.
“Sorry miss, there’s no more m&m’s.” The teenager smirked.
Y/n looked flustered because she just saw them restocking it. She couldn’t find the correct words to say. He saw it as well and he didn’t know what possessed him to defend her.
“We just saw you restock that huge bin of m&m’s.” His voice sent shivers down everyone’s spine. His lanky statue was helping his intimidating look.
“O-oh, are you two together?” The teenager suddenly stuttered out.
“Yeah, would you hurry up.”
Soon they both walked out with two frozen yogurts, one with m&m’s and the other with Oreos.
“Uh, t-thank you for helping me back there.” She shyly said.
“It’s nothing.” He said as he started to walk away.
“W-wait.”
He turned around to face her. She smile softly and Minghao was convinced that was what an angel looked like. “I can’t just let you go without repaying you. You payed for my cup. Let me repay you somehow”
He smirked. “So, a cutie like you can talk for yourself.” He chuckled. “Sure.”
And that’s how they met. She’s been stuck to him since then. He didn’t mind as she added that sunshine he’s been missing in his life. Innocent ole y/n of course didn’t know what he did for a living. Of course she questions and he said that he worked for the company “Highlight,” as a consultant in financial department. She don’t really believe him since he was covered in tattoos. He could tell that she didn’t believe but he didn’t push, because it was the truth. He did work as a consultant in the morning at Highlight. At nighttime though, that was a different story.
. . .
“Hao, we should see the fireworks tonight.” She said as she stuffed her face with chips.
He smiled at her puffed up cheeks and brushed the extra crumbs away from the corner of her lips. She blushed as the turned away.
“Sure.”
Soonyoung looked at him with wide eyes.
“Eissa, you just said you don’t want to go.”
“Well now I do.”
“I’ve been telling you since last month and you’ve been saying no.”
“I want to go now.”
Soonyoung simply squinted his eyes. “Y/n, would you like to join me and the others on a trip to Busan?”
“Sure! Who else is going?” She smiled softly.
“Me, Seungkwan, Seokmin, Hansol, and Channie.”
“Sounds fun, when are you leaving?”
Minghao looked like he was going to murder him. “No”
Y/n looked at him confused and Soonyoung simply smirked.
“She won’t be going, unless I go. And quite frankly I don’t want to go on a trip with you morons.”
“She can come if she wants to. You’re not her guard dog. Y/n wants to come, so let her. You don’t own her.” Soonyoung said with that same smirk.
He knew that he was pushing his luck with Minghao, but he wanted to know where Minghao’s and y/n’s relationship stood. And by the looks of it, Seokmin and Seungkwan will be owing him his $100.
Minghao scoffed. “She’s mine. She’s my person and she knows me the best. And I know her the best. So I know she doesn’t need to spend time with you jerks.”
“Ouch, could’ve been more nicer, hao hao.” Soonyoung mocked.
Minghao stared daggers at him and walked away by grabbing y/n’s hand.
“Let me know by Friday y/nnie!!” Soonyoung yelled out as they walked out of sight.
. . .
Okay, maybe he liked her more than a friend.
He liked how their hands would accidentally brush against each other when they sat next to each other. Or how she would cook for him when he was too tried from work. Being with her felt a little too domestic and he was getting too used to her. He wants to be showered by her sweet affection.
She remembered that he really like tea and bought him a tea set with new tea cups. So naturally, he bought her a designer bag since he saw her eyeing it on her phone. Or one time she remembered that he didn’t like iced water with his food, so he took her to China to try all sorts of food with him. He remembers that she was very flustered and try to talk him out of going but he secretly took her there. Some (his members) would say that he kidnapped her there, but he didn’t see it that way.
He was enamored by her and wanted to be by her, protect her, love her. Her sweet laughs that would linger in his head and how he would be stuck in a day dream while on missions. When Seungcheol heard that he was almost a second late in killing targets, he was not too pleased. And so he said those forbidden words.
“You need to leave her.”
“I’m not going to.”
“She’s becoming a distraction to you. You’re named one of the best assassins for a reason.”
“The day you leave your wife, is the day I’ll leave my beloved y/n. ”
There was silence in the conference room. The other members shocked into silence. Minghao and Seungcheol were similar in a sense that they were too stubborn. Though Minghao was more quiet about his stubbornness, he was a lot bolder when it came to his decision.
“You can’t ask me to leave y/n, when you yourself are married. She means the world to me like how your wife means the world to you.”
“Very well then. You make a good point, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that you’re distracted. You’ll need to fix that, other wise there will be severe consequences.”
. . .
Y/n was pacing around her living room. It’s been two days since she’s heard from Minghao. She was getting worried by the second and wanted to make sure he was fine. There was an increase of violence since two of the biggest mafia families were at war currently. Police advised people to make sure that they locked their doors and no one should leave their house after 10:00 pm. she sighed and was deciding if she should go to his apartment. It was almost 10:30 and she knows she shouldn’t be out but she was worried for him. She looked at her door.
Ah, whatever. She’ll be quick.
She quickly entered his apartment. Luckily there was no activities outside so she was able to make it to his home. However, he was not home. When she rung his bell, he didn’t answer, so she let herself in. She looked around and found him no where in sight. She sat down on his couch and called him again. He of course didn’t answer. To calm her nerves a bit, she decided to watch some tv.
She began to flip through some of his channels. Some channels would be interesting for 5 minutes before she moved on. She landed on the news channel. Just as she was about to skip to the next channel, something peaked her interest.
“There’s been a three way accident on the high way tonight.” The reporter said.
“The accident was so severe, that three lives were taken. The others were severely injured and were taken to the hospital. One of the cars was a black Bentley with the number 8 engraved on to the tire rims.”
She froze.
Minghao has a black Bentley. And his favorite number was 8. Heck, even his friends called him “The8. ”
Y/n was hysterical. She was crying hysterically. No wonder he wasn’t picking up his phone. He was gone and she didn’t even tell him how she felt about him. That made her cry more. He cared for her and all she wanted to do was to return his love the same way. She doesn’t know how long she was cry for before she heard:
“Baobei, why are you crying?”
Great. Now she was imaging his voice. She can’t believe she was already loosing her mind. So, it made her cry even more.
“Baobao, look at me.” Suddenly his fingers pulled her chin up and she met his eyes.
Minghao . . ? Was here? In the flesh..?
She leaped into his arms and nuzzled her face into his neck. Her crying got worse.
“Why are you crying? Hm? Can you tell me who made you cry?” He said as he caressed her head.
“You!”
He was confused. “How so, beibei?”
She couldn’t make a coherent sentence and babbling on. Minghao rubbed his hand on her back.
“I thought you died!” She finally said.
He remained silent. “You didn’t answer my calls for two day, so I came over and didn’t find you here either. So I wanted to watch some tv to relax and I see that there’s been an accident with a black Bentley with 8 engraved on it. . And you have a Bentley and I know your favorite number is 8. It made too much sense. It was awful, hao.” She cried out.
He consoled her more before moving her to his bedroom and sat her down next to him. He wrapped his arm around her and said “I’m sorry for making you worry. There was some issues with the financial department at the office. I couldn’t back to you, I’m so sorry bao.”
“I’m glad you’re okay.” She said as the cry was slowly settling down. “I would’ve had so many regrets if you did leave.”
“Why’s that?”
“I. . I really like you hao. You make me feel so special and so protected. I want to be with you always. I wanted to tell you that even though I know you don’t really like me back. I still appreciate your kind actions.”
He was shocked. The beautiful girl he’s been crushing on, likes him back?
He chuckled softly before pulling her chin up again. “Who said that I don’t like you either. I don’t just let anyone put pink eyeshadow on me with glittery rhinestones.” She smiled softly at his words.
“I let you do anything to me because I love to being your presence. I like that satisfied smile you get when have your way with me. Y/n, you make me want to be a better man.” He wiped away the remaining tears and said “I really like you too. And I’ll never leave you.”
With that, he placed a warm kiss on her lips.
. . .
There were multiple cars chasing him.
“Hyung, they’re gaining on me.”
Seungcheol was huffed before he said, “drive further down, Mingyu and DK are already waiting for you.
As he was going a 115 mph on the high way, a cat suddenly appeared. He may kill people for a living, but cats, were the only exception. He braked a little too hard, cause the cars behind to crash into him. Luckily, his driver door wasn’t hit so he quickly got out as the smoke bled into the air. Made his way towards the rugged road and walked into the forest. With some miracle, he was able to make it to Mingyu and dk.
“Hao, your arm!” Seokmin yelled out. His arm was slightly bruised and was bleeding a lot.
“Just go! They’ll try to find me.”
He went to Joshua, who patched him up, and got prescribed medicine from him. The underground hideout was quite chaotic as they were trying to delete him walking out the vehicle and trying to track who was following Minghao. “I gotta go.” Minghao said as he carefully stood up. “I’m going to head out and shower.”
Seungcheol nodded as helped his brother walk to the door. “Be safe.”
. . .
Y/n was laying her head on Minghao shoulder. Their hands were intertwined and Minghao brought them up to his lips to give her hand a kiss.
“Ha! I told you so!” Soonyoung said excitedly.
Seokmin and Seungkwan grumbled in disappointed.
“I really that it was a joke between them.” Seungkwan whined out.
“I shouldn’t have listen to you.” Seokmin pouted out. “I was right the first time and I was influenced by you.” He whined again.
“Me?! You just like following everything I say! That’s your own fault, not mine” Seungkwan said offendedly.
“I’m not a follower!”
“Yes you are!”
“Nuh uh!”
“Yuh huh!”
“Nuh uh!”
“Yuh huh!”
“Seungkwan, I’m going to take you through hell. Take it back.”
“Never.”
Minghao snickered at them. He looked down at y/n where she also met his eyes. They both smiled and he pulled her in closer.
He kissed the side of her head and said “I won’t ever leave you, bao.”

Joshua Hong.
One of the best vocalist to exist. He was the lead singer of the band “Dust.” He had everything and could get anything. To others, he was on top of the world. However, his heart still had a gaping wound. No amount of money or fame could fill his heart. His mind always wonders back to his support. The woman that held him up when he wasn’t too sure of being a singer. The woman that he loves through and through. It’s been three years since he saw her and everyday was worst than the last.
. . .
“We’re up in 10, Joshuji.” Jeonghan said as he patted his shoulder. He had a glum look on his face. Some days were better then others but today he couldn’t hide his feelings. He still doesn’t want to accept the fact that she was the one that got away.
“Cheer up, hyung!” Dokyeom said with a smile.
“Yeah, we’re here to prove the professors that all those tardies and absences were worth it.” Seungkwan said with a determined look on his face. Joshua only half smiled at that as he remembered those days. They were doing a concert at the university where he had met her. He remembered how she had to cover for him and how she took extra notes for him to understand.
He could hear the loud crowd from behind the stage. He sighed. Maybe he’ll see her today.
The crowed cheered loudly as they all walked onto the stage and started to chant their names: Lee Jihoon! Yoon Jeonghan! Hong Jisoo! Lee Dokyeom! Boo Seungkwan! They got into position and the music started to play.
“But I crumble completely when you cry
It seems like once again you’ve had greet me with goodbye.”
“I can’t do this anymore!” She yelled as the tears fell from her eyes. Her usually calm demeanor was no where to be seen and all she wanted to do, was to come to a conclusion to what her and Joshua were.
His sharp eyes soften at her teared ones. “Honey. . We’ve talked about this and yet you always want to leave. Just trust me. We’ll get thro-“
“No”
I'm always just about to go and spoil the surprise
Take my hands off of your eyes too soon
“You’re leaving?!?” She said shocked.
“Wait, sweetie, I was going to tell you-“
“Josh, my parents finally wanted to meet you and you’re leaving?!”
“No, you weren’t supposed to find out like this.” He sighed out.
“What? You were going to stand me up at my parent’s house?! Huh?!? Joshua?!”
“Darling, it’ll be a quick three day trip. This could be big for the boys and I. We could go anoth-”
“If you leave, we’re done.”
I'm going back to 505
If it's a seven hour flight or a forty-five minute drive
505. Y/n’s apartment number.
“Y/nnie, no matter where I preform, I’ll always make it back here.”
She giggled. “Even if you’re across the globe?”
“Even if I’m across the globe.”
In my imagination, you're waitin' lyin' on your side
With your hands between your thighs and a smile
Every night, he knows that image. As she’s laying down, her sweet smile that makes it to her face when he finally comes back home after a long day of practice. The sight only beheld to Joshua’s eyes.
. . .
“That was great everyone!” Their manager said as they finished packing up. Everyone was congratulating each other for all the hard work today.
“Good job, hyung.” Jihoon said. “ I felt more emotion today. You doing good?” He questioned.
“Yeah, it’s one of those days.” He replied dryly.
“Well, we’re eating out so hurry and come along.”
They made it to the local diner where all of them used to spend so much time. “Woah, this place hasn’t changed a bit.” Seungkwan said as he looked around more. The boys and staff were talking and Joshua started to zone out.
“Joshua, stop it.” She said as she continued to type away. He smirked as he continued to gently poke her face.
“Josh!” She said a little too loudly and the other people in the diner started at them. Her face turned pink as she mumbled out a sorry.
“Pretty loud, are we?” He laughed.
She blushed again. “It’s your fault!” He huffed out.
“Mine?” He said offendedly. “I can’t talk to my girlfriend? Ooh, I’m sorry. Let me just leave.” He said as he started to get up. She quickly grabbed his wrist. He looked back and the smile automatically made it to both of their faces.
“Hyung!” Dokyeom shook him. Joshua looked at him. “It’s your turn to order.”
“O-oh. I’ll have a burger and some fries.” He said quickly
“Lost in thought again?” Jeonghan said as he bites into the fries.
“Yeah. .”
“Look Joshuji, it’s been over three years since you two broke up. You need to get over it.”
“You know I can’t!” Joshua said defensively.
Jeonghan sighed as his eyes signaled Seungkwan to take over.
“Hyung, I know you love you her so much, but if you don’t let go, you’ll never recover. Three years is a long time and I’m sure noona is a changed woman now. You need to change.”
Joshua didn’t say anything. He knows they’re right but he just can’t let go.
. . .
“You cheated!” Chan whined as Jeonghan snickered.
“Maybe, you don’t know how to play.” Seungcheol said while laughing.
“Hey, don’t bully him.” Seungkwan scolded them. “Only I get to do that.” He smiled triumphantly as Chan groaned.
Joshua really smiled for the first time in a while. It’s been three months since the talk at the diner and he forced himself to get better. It’s been going great and his friends where doing all they could to help. They were loving the results of his recovery.
“I can’t wait for tomorrow’s concert.” Mingyu gushed out. “I haven’t watched you guys live in a while. Being a model takes my perception of time away. The shoots are soooo looongg.” He whined out. Joshua laughed and patted his head. “Ooh, can we see the set list?” Chan said with a glimmer in his eyes.
“No” Seungkwan said courtly and a frown appeared on Chan’s face. “Wait for tomorrow, Channie.” Jeonghan said as he rubbed his hand on chan’s head.
Soon it was the next day and the boys were preparing to preform. For once Joshua felt great and didn’t really anything when he re-read the lyrics. The lyrics he poured his heart into after every feeling he had about Y/n. They finally walked onto stage and let the music start.
If you like your coffee hot
Let me be your coffee pot
“I just want to be there for you always. I could be anything for you,” She laughed as she blushed. “I like how you are now.” He smiled as he pulled her closer and rubbed his nose with hers.
You call the shots, babe
I just wanna be yours
“Where do you want to go next, love?” He said as he pulled out the parking lot.
“Home. I’m getting a little tired.”
“Home is anywhere with you.” He said smugly
“Smooth, Hong, smooth.”
Secrets I have held in my heart
Are harder to hide than I thought
“Want to know a secret?” Joshua whispered. She nodded. “Every time I look at you, I’m just bursting at the seams with love. I just want to shower you in with all my love.” She blushed as she hugged him close.
Maybe I just wanna be yours
I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours
“From the moment I saw you, I knew that I had to be yours, darling.”
“Maybe I wanted to be yours as well when I first saw you.” She said shyly.
Wanna be yours
Wanna be yours
Wanna be yours
. . .
Joshua picked up his phone and looked at the old pictures of them. Although he feels better than he did better, he can’t bring himself to delete those pictures. Those were the only proof of their love. He likes to remise about the good times. No woman could replace her. He can’t bring himself to go another date. Many women wanted him but he didn’t want them. He locked his phone and made his way to the studio and decided to write some lyrics for the new album. He hummed to get a feel for the lyrics.
Thought I could get you back any time of day
Shouldn't have been so cocky
Joshua, get a grip. Be better for her and be the best musician you can be. Make her proud. She’ll only be mad for a little bit and come back. Don’t call her. She’ll be back. She always comes back you.
Shouldn't have did you wrong (woah, oh)
And now I miss you bad, really, really bad
“This is the tenth date you missed, Joshua. I’m sick of this. I try to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t with this anymore.”
“I’m doing this for us. Trust me when we get a break through, you’ll be sitting on millions with me.”
“I don’t want that, I want to spend some time with you, that’s it.”
Guess you don't know what you got until it's gone.
With that she walked away.
Why did I run away, run away, run away? (Run away)
Oh, your love was everything, everything, everything (everything)
“I’m leaving!!” She finally said as picked up the suitcase.
“Don’t come crawling back when you see me on every billboard.” He angrily said
“I’ll never crawl back to you. You’re not the same man I fell in love with.”
“I’m still the same me! Stop being dramatic, y/n.”
I know it's getting late, getting late, getting late (getting late)
But can I still be on my way, on my way? Yeah
She didn’t come back. And she didn’t answer his calls either. She changed her Instagram bio and changed her apartment code. It feels like she disappeared from the face of the earth and he couldn’t find her anywhere.
I know I said goodbye and baby, you said it too
But when I touch her I feel like I'm cheating on you (I'm cheating on you)
I thought that I'd be better when I found someone new (found someone new)
But when I touch her I feel like I'm cheating on you (believe it, baby)
Jihoon walked in and saw Joshua was in the zone. He took a quick peek at his notepad was amazed by his lyricism. “Hyung, it looks good.” That snapped him out of his trance. Joshua smiled and said, “Do you think it’s going to make the album?”
“I don’t think, I know it will.”
. . .
Today marks the four year anniversary of their break up. It didn’t hurt Joshua this year like it did the last three. He smiled to himself as he felt himself getting better day by day. Today they were performing at their old college town again. He was excited to preform their new song that they just released. He wrote how the end of his relationship should’ve gone. Maybe the break up was inevitable with his wild schedule but he still wanted her in his life.
Let's end each other's lonely nights
Be each other's paradise
Need a picture for my frame
Someone to share my reign
Tell me what you wanna drink
I'll tell you what I got in mind
Just wanna have a conversation
Forget about the obligations
Maybe we can stay in touch
Oh that ain't doin' too much
Can we be, can we be, be each other's company?
Be each other's company
Just be each other's company
Be each other's company
It was an especially fun night as they saw old faces and the vibe was just right. He felt great and wanted to relish that feeling. He went to grab a drink with old friends from college and high school. It was a wonderful night and Joshua saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Towards the end night, he saw Jeonghan calling.
“Hey, you busy?”
“No, I was about to head home.
“Will you be busy tomorrow?”
“…No.”
“Okay, good. I need you to come to Sowon’s house.”
“Why? I thought she moved??”
“She wants to show us the new place, shuji.”
“Oh, wouldn’t her roommate mind?”
“Ooh, Joshuji, her roommate will be out the entire weeknd. The boys will be bringing their girlfriends too. So come. I wouldn’t want my favorite person to be alone.”
“Hmm . . Okay, I’ll be there. And I know you’re lying. I’m not your favorite person”
“What?! You are.”
. . .
The apartment was beautiful. It was much larger than her old one, according to her.
“We still need to put up the pictures, but other than that, everything is done!”
“Wow! The home decor is beautifully done.” Seungkwan’s girlfriend gushed as her fingers gently grazed the ceramics ornaments.
“Thank you! My roommate is really good at interior design. I’m surprised she’s not a real interior designer.”
They all fell into a comfortable conversations. Just talking about anything and everything. His band mates were telling stories from their high school and college days, making the girls laugh.
Sowon glanced at time and saw that it read 1:06 am.
“You guys should head out. I still have to work tomorrow.” She said as she stood up to stretch.
“Whyyy??” Jeonghan whined out. “Just take the day off. We were in such a good conversation, come on, babe.”
She only chuckled.
“No, you guys need to go.”
“Please, unnie.” Dokyeom’s girlfriend said with pleading eyes.
“Guys, I have work tomorrow, we can talk more another ti-“
Suddenly the front door opened. Sowon’s eyes widen. She turned around and everyone else’s eyes followed with her.
Her roommate walked in and Joshua felt all the air leave his body. He couldn’t breathe.
There she stood. L/N Y/N.
There was utter silence as she looked at all of the guest currently in her living room. The boys were looking at Joshua and his reaction.
“Y-you’re back early, Y/nnie. I thought you’d be back Monday.”
She smiled softly and said, “I thought that too, but there was a change in plans. Sorry for disrupting you and your guests.”
“No! You’re not. Don’t be silly. Here let me- Sowon grabbed her hand and dragged her so now she was face to face with all the guests.
“This is my amazing roommate Y/N. And this is my boyfriend, Jeonghan.” He waved and said, “nice to meet you.” Y/n reciprocated the action. “And these are his band mates. You know the band, Dust, yeah that’s them.” Y/n smiled as she waved to them.
“Don’t mind her, she’s a little shy. She’s also not into the same music as me so, she might not recognize you guys.”
“It’s fine. Nice to meet you, Y/n noona.” Seungkwan said. Y/n smiled fondly at him and said the same thing. Joshua eyes were stuck on her. Everything about her changed. Everything about her was more mature. Her tone of talking to her choice of clothing. He was enamored by her again. All those feelings were rushing back to him. Those months of him working on himself, was out the window. He didn’t care about healing. He just wanted her again.
“Well, I’m going to head to bed. You guys can stay, but keep the volume to a minimum, thank you.” Y/n said as she started to walk away.
Joshua stood up and said, “We were just leaving.”
She turned around and looked at him. There was utter silence in the room. He wanted to reach out and hug her, touch her, kiss her. But she only half smiled and said, “well have a good night.” And with that she walked to her room. He stared at the direction he was just in.
“Um, do you guy know each other?” Sowon said.
Joshua said nothing for a bit before making his way to the door and mutter out a “Thank you for inviting me.”
. . .
Two weeks passed and Joshua was the worst he’s ever been. He can’t even eat on time. He wants to be in her presence again. His band members were worried. He couldn’t even find it in him to even talk. Joshua felt drained even though he didn’t do much.
“Shua, come eat.” Seungcheol said softly as he rubbed his head. Joshua was laying down face first into his pillow. He couldn’t even formulate a sentence to answer him. Mingyu walked into the room and made eye contact with Seungcheol. They came to an agreement via eye contact.
“Here.” Seungcheol pushed Joshua up and Mingyu gripped his waist to hoisted him up. They forced him up and walked him towards Joshua’s and Jeonghan’s shared dining room.
“Hyung, you can do it.” Chan said as he helped feed Joshua.
The was a somewhat comforting silence between them all. But, Minghao broke it.
“You need to talk to her.”
There was silence but it was more suffocating. Joshua looked up at him. “Hyung, you’re never going to improve if one glance at her ruined your months of growth. There’s clearly an unresolved issue and you need to fix it. I’m sure she feels the same.” Minghao started. “Her presence was enough to make you crumble. I don’t want to continue to see you suffer. You suffered enough. Just talk it out with her.”
Joshua sighed. “What if she doesn’t want to talk to me?”
“It’s worth a shot. Express the feelings you’ve been feeling and tell her what you want the two of you to be. I remember noona being by your side like glue. I’m sure she wants some answers too.” Minghao replied. Joshua simply nodded.
. . .
He didn’t even know what he would even say to her. It’s been too long and he’s changed and he’s sure that she changed as well. How does he even go about it. Her face remains rent free in his head and how her smile from that night gives him the comfort that he so desperately craves.
Joshua thought maybe writing it out would help him come up with a better way of expressing his thoughts to her.
All of a sudden you disappeared, you disappeared
Like a faint ghost, disappeared
I sometimes ask into the void
What am I to you? (What am I?)
All of a sudden you disappeared, you disappeared
Like a faint ghost, disappeared
In this room where only echo remains
I'm wandering around alone all this time
I'm like a ghost
Joshua knew he had to tell her. He needed to see her now.
. . .
“Sowon, is she home?” Joshua said.
She looked at him as she leaned on her front door.
“No, she’s out right now. Why?”
“When will she be back?”
“Not for a while, now why do you need her?”
“I’ll came back in a bit.”
Sowon grabbed his collar from behind as he turned to leave. Joshua stumbled back and wobbled a bit having lost his balance.
“Why?” She said she crossed her arms.
He sighed. “You have time?”
“Plenty.”
For the next two and half hours, he explained everything about his and her relationship. Sowon was trying to process everything.
“How come she never told me anything??!?” She was perplexed since they knew each other since high school and she didn’t tell her anything. “I can’t believe it. She’s the one that inspired you to write those amazing songs!?”
Joshua gave her a look. She sheepish laughed. “Right, sorry.” She cleared her throat and said, “Well, she’s at work and won’t be done for a while and she’s usually grumpy when she comes back. She doesn’t work on the weekends. We usually go out or if I can’t, she goes out by herself.” Joshua nodded.
“So, here’s the plan.”
. . .
It was the weekend and Joshua was beyond nervous. The plan Sowon explain sounded easy enough, but he was nervous about messing up. He made his way to the busy city.
“She likes visiting the stalls on the weekends if she doesn’t make plans with anyone.” Sowon said.
He looked around and couldn’t see anything as it was so busy. Joshua made his way across all the stalls and there was no signs of her. He sent a quick text to Sowon saying he didn’t even get a glimpse of her. Sowon replied by calling him.
“She’s at the art gallery, right near the large restaurant.”
Oh, she must be at Minghao’s art gallery.
“Okay, I’ll make my way over there.”
He walked into the gallery and took in his friends art. While he was there, the least he could do is appreciate the man that pushed him to talk it out with the woman he loves.
“Hyung?” Minghao whispered out.
Joshua smiled “Eissa.”
“I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“What? Can’t enjoy one of my best friends art?”
Minghao squinted his eyes, trying to read his face. “Well thank you for coming. Means a lot to me.” He said as he hugged him.
Joshua looked around for a bit and couldn’t find her. He almost lost all hope until he saw her silhouette leaving. He made his way over to the entrance and was walking through the busy roads. It was currently 6 pm and many people were getting started on their night. He almost lost sight of her until he saw her walk into the small intersection for pedestrians. She walked towards the train station and Joshua finally caught up to her and gently grabbed her arm. She quickly turned around to see who was touching her. She froze as she recognized those eyes.
“What are you doing?” She finally whispered out.
“We need to talk, please.”
“About what? We’ve been done for four years, remember?”
“I didn’t forget about you the last four years. All you did was live in my mind and all I could think about was what we had.”
She was silent.
“Please let’s go somewhere and talk.”
. . .
They both sat down on Joshua’s couch.
“Honey, please look at me.” He said softly.
Her eyes couldn’t even meet his, afraid she might cry. She shook her head no.
“Just talk Joshua, please.” Y/n pleaded.
Joshua sighed.
“I don’t know where to even start.” He chuckled bitterly.
“I think I should apologize first. I’m sorry that I wasn’t a good boyfriend towards the end of our relationship. I guess being too focused on the band made me forget the woman that help me up. I should’ve been there for you more. You always were my shoulder to cry on and yet I did nothing to make you feel loved.” He paused and tried to collect more of his thoughts. “That night where you ended it, I felt so lost. Heck, I still do. I don’t know how even been living the four years. I feel like I can’t breathe sometimes. I regret everything. If I could go back and stop myself, I would. I would stop myself from ever even forming the idea of a band. I can’t live without you. I thought I was getting better but the moment I saw you, I relapsed.” He paused again before saying what he’s been wanting to say for the last four years.
“I need you in my life. I feel like I used to see the world in color and the day you left, all the color drained away and everything’s grey. I want us to work again. This is the biggest mistake I ever made. I need in my life and you don’t have to be my lover, but I just want to be in your presence again. Please Y/n. ” He pleaded.
She was silent. “Joshua. . . “ Y/n couldn’t even begin a sentence as she was trying to process what he just spilled to her. “ I don’t know what to say.”
“Please, tell me how you feel about me.”
She sighed softly before saying, “I also think about the old time. I also miss us and everything we did together. But, I don’t think it could even work out between us again. I’ve changed and you’ve changed. Josh, I’ve been yearning for you since I left but I knew that if I went back to you without changing myself for the better, we would still be miserable. I still never stopped supporting you though. I listened to all your songs and watch most of your performances online. However, I don’t know if this could be picked up where we left it off.”
“Then we don’t have to.” He said as he reach for her hand. He clasped their hands together and looked at her. Her confused gaze met his determined one.
“We can start over. We can do try again but this time we know what the other person is like. We know each other’s likes and dislikes. We can learn each others new likes and dislikes. We can start from the bottom again.” He said as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Like friends?” She whispered out.
“Yeah, and if we like the progress, we can merge to lovers.”
“I don’t know, Joshua. We left off on a very ugly note.”
“Let’s try again, sweetheart. Let’s try to form a new bond, stronger than the last one.”
“Okay, let’s try again from the bottom.” She said as she leaned in for a hug. He hugged her and basked in her warmth.
“And this time I won’t let you go this time.”

Only You
Mafia! Jeonghan
Every one wants him. But he only wants one person.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He sighed for the millionth time today. He just wanted to leave. Too many people were trying to talk to him and it’s draining him. His eyes were slightly droopy but unbeknownst to him, it made him look more sultry like. Making more and more people attracted to him. His mysterious and slightly cold aura captures anyone coming his way.
“Jeonghan! There you are!” Another one of the socialites said as she waltz over to him. His face remained indifferent as she pushed up against him slightly.
“Let’s go somewhere else.” She whispered seductively.
God, he was really going to kill Seungcheol.
“Can’t, have work tomorrow.” He said courtly, trying to move away.
“Come on, hannie. It’ll only be for a little bit.” She pouted. He cringed at the name that disgraced her lips.
He pushed her slightly for her to land back on the other chairs and made his way out.
There’s only one woman that could call him hannie.
Y/n.
As he drove home, he remembers the memories with her. How brilliant her smile was and how shy she used to get at his flirty remarks. Her soft hands that would caress his face after a long day and how she would nurse him back to health after working for hours on end.
Oh, how much he misses her and how he longs for her warmth again.
Everything went well until she found out his real occupation. She gave him an ultimatum of leaving the mafia family or her. He obviously couldn’t choose. These were the things that made him happy. How could he only pick one? But in the end, she left. There was radio silence from her end.
Nothing.
She even moved work places and her apartment. If Jeonghan wasn’t in the mafia with a lot of connections, he would’ve never found her.
Her face remains engraved in his head. He wants to be in her arms again and hear her sweet nothings after a long day. It’s been harder these days to forget everything. It’s like the universe was taunting him with everything that reminds him of their time together.
. . .
To be fair, he didn’t want to be in the mafia family. He just wanted to make sure him and his sister didn’t die. His parents borrowed money from a different mafia family and they couldn’t pay it back. So his family was always on the run and wanted to essentially survive.
One day when Jeonghan was picking up his sister from school, his parents were brutally murdered. In that short 15 minutes of him picking up his sister, they died and couldn’t even plea to spare them. He received a phone call from the neighbor saying they heard loud screaming from his house. Sensing it could be bad, he drop his sister at her friends house for the time being. He made his was home and saw the devastating sight. On the wall, written his parent’s blood, states that they need to get the remaining 50 million won by next Friday. He shuddered as he sat down on the couch. Although he was sad to see his parents like this, he couldn’t even shed a tear. At the ripe age of 18, he was now the sole guardian of his sister.
He needed to get out and get out fast. Where was he going to find that much money in a short amount of time? So, he knew what he had to do. And so he walked to the house at the very end of the street and knocked in strategic way to alert them. The door swung open and revealed a tall man with glasses.
“Wonwoo…”
“I’ve heard the gunshots.”
Jeonghan said nothing. “I’ll join.”
“What?” Wonwoo said, taken aback. “B-but, I thought you-“
“I have no choice. Me and my sister can’t keep running. We need him to protect us. He can avenge me and sister.”
He was the big boss, Choi Seunghyun, aka, T.O.P. He was running the harshest and ever growing mafia family, Big Bang. The name Big Bang comes from the people that go out with a bang when nothing is paid back to them.
“Hyung, think it through. You’ll never be able to leave. I’ve been there for two years already and I made the biggest mistake.”
“I have to. For me and my sister.”
And so, Yoon Jeonghan was secretly sworn into the family and to build trust and a bond, TOP ordered his men to kill that mafia family that harassed Jeonghan and his family. Even he says it’s to build trust, it’s just something to emotionally blackmail Jeonghan to not leave.
By the time he was 20, a riot within the family was started. An internal war was far worse that the ones with someone else. “The family is not going to last any longer. We’re all going to die.” Joshua said.
“We need to leave and leave now. So many people already left.” Jihoon said.
“No.” Seungcheol said.
Everyone looked at him.
“We’ll start our own clan and be better than them. Most of us have no one waiting for us at home. For some of us, this is the only family we have.”
“But hyung-“
“There’s no buts. Trust me. I’ve been by Seunghyun’s side for the last 5 years, I know what to do. Just trust me.
And they did trust him. They became Seventeen, one of the most wanted group across world. With each members unique ability, the group prospered and because much bigger than imagined.
. . .
Because of the his charming looking and his ability to finesse anything in a conversation, Seungcheol made him one of their main undercover says to find informations.
That is how he met the beautiful woman that is Y/n. She worked as a journalist and would often spend her time at the cafe, across the street from her work place.
By fate, they met. They were there at the same place and at the same time. She caught his eye the moment his eyes landed on her. How focused she was on the paper she was writing and how she didn’t even look up. Everyone was flocking to get a glimpse of him, while her eyes remained on her laptop.
He smirked. How interesting.
He sat right in front of her and said, “Is this seat taken?”
Again she didn’t look up and mumbled out a no.
As he sipped his coffee, he looked at her. Everything about her was perfect to him. Is this what love at first sight was?
“You know staring is rude, right?” She finally said.
He was surprised for a second before that infamous smirk made its way to his face.
“I can’t help that a beautiful lady is sitting right in front of me.”
She blushed slightly.
“You’re weird.” She laughed.
God, he could hear that for the rest of his. Her laugh rang in his ears in the most beautiful way possible.
“Oh yeah? How so?”
“I need to leave.” She said with a smile as she picked up her stuff.
“You won’t tell me how I’m weird?”
“Maybe next time.”
Jeonghan smile widen as he hear that.
Next time. He couldn’t wait for it.
. . .
Soon enough, they were chatting at the cafe almost everyday. Jealous eyes scanned them as they were lost in their own world. She actually talked to him! He was starstruck by her and day by day he was falling deeper. Her small little habits never left out in Jeonghan’s mind.
After three months of talking, he knew he needed to make this official. She needed to be his. He took her to country side and showed her around the beautiful mountain village. She didn’t know this, but this was where Jeonghan grew up. But she loved every second of it. He finally took her to one of the nicer restaurant and asked her.
“Y/n. . I know that we’ve known each other for a short three months, but I feel like, I’ve known you my whole life. I just can’t imagine my life without you in my future. So, will you be my girlfriend?”
She smiled and leaped into his arms. “Of course! Don’t even have to ask.”
Soon enough, three years passed and Jeonghan was the happiest he has ever been. He never told her in those three years that he was in the mafia. He wanted to maintain her sweet innocence and not scare her away.
But that came to an end, when she was cleaning their shared home. She went to throw away the trash when she saw some files with Jeonghan’s name one them. So, she went to his office to put them on his desk, but she was shocked to his a gun and knives on his desk. She doesn’t know how long she was there, but she there for a while for Jeonghan to find her there. He couldn’t even come up with an explantation as to why there was a gun on his desk. He could’ve made an excuse for the knives but he knew he has to come clean about it to her.
“Hannie, what’s this?”
“Baby, let’s talk about this tomorrow”
“No! We’re talking about this right now. What is this?!”
“Angel. . . come with me.”
He took her to the other side of the room and sat her down on the couch. He sighed. “I’m . . . In the mafia. . and I know you’re confused but believe me when I say that I was going to tell you eventually when the time was right.” He was lying. He would’ve never ever told her. “I. . .wha-what?” She said.
He couldn’t read her face and was getting anxious. “Talk to me baby.”
“I. . . I’m heading to bed.”
She slept in the guest bed that night. Jeonghan couldn’t sleep as the bed felt too cold without her. Little did he know that this would be the last time she was ever be in the same house as him. The next morning rolled around and she was silent. But he had work to attend to. “I’m leaving, baby.” He leaned down to kiss her but she moved her head. He moved back in shock.
Later that night, when he came home, he noticed that she was thinking. He was nervous for what she’ll eventually say.
“Jeonghan.”
That sent shivered down his spine. In those three years, she only called him Jeonghan a handful amount of time. And each time he disliked it. “Yes.”
“I’m going to give you a choice. And you need to pick one.” She sighed. “Either you leave the mafia or . . leave me.”
There was silence after she said that.
“What?”
“You heard me.”
“Angel, you have to understand I can’t just pick o-“
“You have to! I can’t live with a man that kills for a living.”
“Listen to me-“
“JEONGHAN! JUST PICK ONE!”
It was silent again. Never does she ever raise her voice at anyone but she couldn’t help herself.
“Baby. . .” He started.
Suddenly his phone rang. He looked at her apologetically before he answered. It was Seungcheol.
“I need you to come to the office now!”
“Why? What’s wrong?!”
“Just come, it’s too long to explain but unit three is injured. We can’t get a hold of Soonyoung. That last response we got was from Chan at 10:56 pm. Come now.”
He rushed up but paused and look at her again.
“We’ll finish this when I get back.”
The door shut close and she got her answer. She scoffed slightly, “when I get back.”
She packed her things and called friends for help. They came and loaded somethings in their car and she packed some in her car well. She turned off her phone and made her way to her friends house.
By the time he came home, it was 6:42 am. She was no where to be seen. He called her phone and it went straight to voicemail. He was hysterical as he slipped to his knees. Yesterday night would mark the last day he sees her.
. . .
That was almost six months ago. It haunts him everyday. Oh how he regrets going out, but the other part would regret breaking the brotherhood that they created. Day by day, he yearns for her. His other members noticed him and tried to comfort him but he didn’t want comfort, he wanted . . no he needed her. Everyday passed by in a blur and he wanted that clarity again. When he met her, it felt as the all the problems in his world disappeared. He didn’t know how he lived without her before.
“Meeting in 5.” Jihoon reminded everyone in the common room. Slowly Jeonghan made his way to the conference room.
“The next month will be very busy, so pay attention, especially you Jeonghan.” Seungcheol started. Jeonghan just started tune everything out. He wanted to only live in his memories. Wanting to live in his make believe so that the harsh reality won’t make him cry more. Joshua got a glimpse of him slipping, so he elbowed him and that got Jeonghan out his daydream. He silently sighed.
“And Jeonghan will be there ahead of time to listen to everything.”
“Ugh, again.” He whined out, annoyed.
“Everyone sessionally wants a piece of you, so you’ll be going in.”
Jeonghan rolled his eyes at that. Not everyone wanted him.
. . .
His hooded eyes scanned the room to look make sure the target left so he could finally leave. Once he was sure, he made his way out. He stopped at a bar on his way home. Everyone’s eyes were on him. One drink turned into two drinks turned into three. Before he knew it, he was extremely drunk. He then heard a familiar laugh. He whipped his head to look for that comforting sound.
There she sat with all her beauty. Her beautiful lips up in a smile as she drank with her co-workers.
God, he wanted to leave before he did something stupid. As he made his way out, Y/n let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding. It hurt so bad seeing him get so drunk and she didn’t even help him. Although she tried to forget him, and hate him, she couldn’t. She did too much with him to forget that man. His love still linger through her.
She missed him so much. She wanted to run back into his arms, but she knew that if she did, she would invite the bad into her life. His karma will come to collect his debt and she doesn’t want to be in the middle of it.
“Go” Her supervisor said.
Y/n looked up at her and shook her head. “I can’t.” She said as a few tears escaped. “You clearly still love him and want him. You should try to work it out.” They knew she broke up him but not for him being in the mafia. No. She told them that it just didn’t work out anymore. They were obviously shocked and didn’t believe her but didn’t pry as she was in a bad state. “I think I’m going to head home.” Y/n said as she paid for her share.
. . .
He woke up with a pounding headache and almost had no memory from last night. He did remember seeing her. He could never forget her. Jeonghan was having regrets. Maybe he should’ve talk to her? No. That could’ve gotten ugly.
He went on with day as normal but he was thinking about her more than usual. He wanted to talk to her again. He knew that it’ll never happen and it’s only a distant memory. He made it to work and Seungcheol made his way to his office. “Jeonghan, tonight is the night, be ready.” He said.
That night came faster than expected. And all 13 boys made their way to the club. There was a set plan and by tonight there should be one less person on this earth. He made his way to bar and ordered a whiskey. And made his way to one of the sofas. Many girls tried their ways with him with no success. He was only there as an extra pair of eyes, so seducing these women for information was not needed. As some girl was kissing his jaw, he saw her. She was wearing a black dress that was beautifully complementing her body. Her shy eyes scanned through crowds of people, looking for someone. The more he looked at her, the more he wanted to next to her.
He pushed the girl softly and made his way to Y/n. She was facing away from him and he was a few feet from her. His hands naturally found their way to her waist. She was slightly startled and tried to push the hands away before he said, “It’s me, angel.” She was frozen and said nothing. He took this as a sign to continue. One of his hand came up and brushed her hair out of the way to get access to her neck. He placed gentle kisses along there and she let him. Soon her hands were placed on top of his.
“Let’s go somewhere else.” He whispered in her ears as he placed some kisses there as well. And they left the club and Jeonghan was driving them to his apartment. The car ride was silent but he didn’t mind. Just being in her presence was enough for him.
. . .
He opened the door for her and let her in. He then got a glass of water for her and him to drink. Once they were done, they only looked at each other. They both longed for this moment again. “Maybe this was a mistake. I should leave. ” She softly said.
“N-no! S-stay.”
He sighed and said, “Angel, I owe you an explanation. That night I left, I had an emergency. The boys were in trouble and I needed to ensure their safety. I know in that moment you must’ve felt unimportant. I should’ve sat you down and talked throughly that morning. I should’ve set it straight when I saw you that morning. And to answer your question. . . I can’t leave them. It’s a bond we built on hardship and trust. We are each other’s family. We can’t ever be apart. But I also didn’t want to leave you. When I came back, you were gone. I wanted to come to a compromise because you are the light in my life. I only want you to look at me. I just want you.”
She looked at him and didn’t know what to think. “I don’t want to live my life in fear that I’ll be killed. I want to live normally.” She said.
“You can. No one in the mafia world knows I’m even affiliated with seventeen. We can work it out.” He said as he held her hands.
“I . . I want it to work too but I’m too scared.”
“We can take it slow and figure everything out, like old time.”
She smiled at that. “Yeah, like old times.”
“Let’s head to bed and plan out everything tomorrow, hmm? How does that sound?” He said as he brushed her hair behind her ear.
“Sound perfect.”
. . .
He gave her some of his clothes for pajamas and boy did he miss that sight. She softly smiled at him and made her way to bed. When she was comfortable, Jeonghan joined after turning off all the lights. He hugged her and placed a kiss on her head.
“We’ll be okay.” He whispered.

I Love Boo
Boyfriend! Seungkwan
Seungkwan is your best friend but he’s also your boyfriend
Part II, Part III
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Babe, I’m telling you Girls’ Generation is better than Wonder girls!”
Gasp!
“You take that back this instant. Don’t disrespect my favorite girl group like that.” He said as he snatched the remote
“Maybe, I wouldn’t have to if you didn’t scream “I want nobody nobody but you” in the shower at 7 in the morning! ”
“Stop being jealous that I’m better at singing than you. ”
“Sure, kwannie. Keep telling yourself that.”
“Hey! I literally won the singing competition last summer!”
“Yeah against kids.”
“The age range was anyone from the ages of 13 to 18!”
“You’re 25.”
“. . . S-so, I still won. Winners succeed in life, y/n. Take notes. ”
“I’m not taking notes from a man that took a 13 year old’s thunder.”
“Shut up! I hate you sometimes!”
. . .
“Kwannie, hurry up!” Y/n whined as she continued to wait on the sofa.
“Just a minute. I’m almost done.” He replied.
“You said that 20 minutes ago.” She muttered.
“What was that buttercup?”
“Nothing, just hurry up.”
God, he was always late to everything. Y/n thought she was the one the took forever to get ready, but Seungkwan was another level. He took even longer than her.
“I’m ready, my love.” He sung out after another 10 minutes.
“Wow, you look amazing, beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful.” She said sarcastically as she finally put her shoes on and waited for Seungkwan to do the same.
“No, say it like you mean it or else I’m not wearing my shoes and we’ll be even more late.”
The audacity of this man. Let me just strangle his stup-
Sigh
“My beautiful Kwannie. You have wonderfully graced my eyes and I’ll forever be grateful to be in your ethereal presence. Now shall we get going my love bug?”
Seungkwan giggled. “Yes, of course!”
. . .
“Y/nie, I’m so cold right.” Seungkwan said as he shivered.
Y/n took his cold hands and intertwined them with her slightly warmer ones, and shoved their hands in her coat pocket.
He blushed as he said “you know, I’m supposed to that.”
“Can’t have my beautiful Kwannie freezing on me.” She said teasingly.
He rolled his eyes as his free hand reached into his pocket. “Oh no!”
“What’s wrong, babe?”
“I forgot my lip balm.” He whined out. “Now, I’m cold and have dry cracked lips.”
Y/n chuckled as she felt her lip balm in her other pocket. But it wouldn’t be fun to just give it to him. She came to a stop and Seungkwan turned to look at her. “What? Did you forget something too?” He said as he scanned her face.
She only smiled and looked straight at him. She then put her hands on his shoulders and went up on her tippie toes to place a warm kiss on his cracked lips.
“There.”
He blushed like crazy and looked at her all flushed. “W-what?”
“You said you needed lip balm, so I gave you some.” Y/n was also blushing red.
He licked his lips out of habit and tasted her strawberry lip balm.
“We should head home.” She said as she made her way away from him.
“W-wait for me. I’ll get you back when we get back home.”
. . .
“Do you think Seokmin oppa ever washes his hand?”
“Never. One time he was tasked with cutting the watermelon and Channie told me that he didn’t wash his hand when Chan asked him.”
“Eww!” She laughed. “Did you eat it?”
“Jeonghan hyung told us to wash it thoroughly and not to tell anyone else. I refrained from eating it though. ”
“Note to self, don’t eat anything if Seokmin oppa didn’t prepare in front of us.”
They both laughed. “What other stories do you want to hear about the boys?” Seungkwan said as he raked his fingers through her hair.
“Hmm, how did you and the boys meet. And no embellishments on the stories. You always over exaggerate everything.” She slightly scolded.
“Me?! Over exaggerate?! I would never!”
. . .
“One iced americano and one hot chocolate with two chocolate croissants, please.” Seungkwan said.
After they got their order, they both sat in a more secluded part of the cafe.
“You know, kwan, you have to stop drinking that vile drink. It tastes so bad.” Y/n furrowed her eyebrows.
“It’s a taste you have to get used to, sweetie. And clearly your childish taste cannot comprehend the complexity of this beautiful drink.” He said with that smug look on his face.
“Kwan, you’re eating a chocolate croissant and I’m having a hot chocolate. If anything hot chocolate has a more complex flavor than that abomination.”
His eyebrows twitched as he said “Oh, is that so?” with a slight irritated smiled.
“Y/n, one day, you’ll understand the wonderful taste that is an americano.”
She rolled her eyes. “Whatever, I know you’ll never let this go.”
“It’s cause I’m right.”
“Sure, you can continue to like your Americano and I’ll continue to like my hot chocolate.”
“You’re totally missing out.”
“I’m not missing much.”
“I’ll be waiting for the day you drink it.”
“That’ll be never. I hate the taste.”
Seungkwan smirked as he leaned forward towards her.
“You may hate the drink, but I love you and your chocolate covered lips.”
She blushed as she touched her lips and felt some chocolate smudge off.
“Y-you idiot! You should’ve told me earlier. You know how many people I smiled at when they walked passed us? I probably looked like an idiot with my face covered in chocolate” She whined as she wiped her lips with a napkin.
“Hey, at least you’re my idiot.” Seungkwan said with a lovesick smile.
“I’m going to kill you one of these days, kwan.”
. . .
“I love you.” Seungkwan said.
It was 12:03 am and all the lights were off. They were on laying his living room floor. The tv was playing songs from their shared playlist and the vibes were perfect. And so naturally Seungkwan said the big three words. She was silent for a bit.
“I like you too.”
“Hey! I said I love you!”
She smiled. “Say it properly, baby.” Seungkwan pouted.
“I did say it. I like you too.”
“Don’t be like that!!” He whined out.
“I’m going to sleep.” She said as she made her way to the bedroom.
“Y/n, say it backkkk.” He whined again as he followed her.
“Good night, kwannie.” She announced as she got comfortable on the bed.
He sighed and pouted his lips. His back was facing her and she silently giggled. She turned around so her chest was pressed against his back.
“I love you more.” She whispered finally.

Professor! Wonwoo
Y/n failed a few classes and now the college needs to speak with a guardian.
Warning: kinda suggestive
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/n was stressed. The results of all the exams come out today and she’s dreading to pick up the paper. She knows she failed chemistry. She had no clue what she did during a the labs or what she did on the final exam. She’s been slacking for the two months going out and about and not studying. There’s not way she got above a C on the other exams too. What’s worse is the fact that her husband, Jeon Wonwoo, worked at her university as a history and philosophy professor. It was an arranged marriage and she only said yes because she thought he would go easy on the school work load. However, he’s more strict than her father! Always wanting straight A’s and less than 5 absences. However, no one knows about this. He didn’t tell anyone because he didn’t want people to think he was favoring her because she was his wife.
He’s a cold man, but he cares about her. She seen on multiple occasions that he did. Like when it was close to midnight and she’d ask for help on certain questions. Or when it’s that time of the month and he goes out and buys whatever she craves. They’ve been married for almost two years and she’s feels as though they’re almost at the finish line to be lovers. But she’s not too sure on how he’ll react to the report.
Her thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing. Strange.
It’s was the student center.
“Hello?” She said cautiously.
“Ah yes, good evening Ms. L/n, this is your advisor speaking. I’m going to need you to come to my office right now please. We need to discuss the sudden drop in your grades.”
“. . .”
“Ms. L/n, are you there?”
“Ah! Yes, I’ll be there as soon as I can.”
. . .
“Ms. L/n, your GPA dropped from a 3.9 to a 2.9 in a matter of two weeks. From what I can see, your grades went down during the last few weeks of this semester. You are an excellent student because I can see that before you had a A and B average. However, this severe drop can really cause problems for graduation.”
She said as the advisor looked at her. She had no words to say because honestly she did this to herself. Y/n knew that she was failing but not to the point where it’ll cause her problems to graduate.
“What can I do? I’ll do anything to fix it!” Y/n exclaimed.
The advisor sighed and said “Well, since you’re in danger of not graduating, this is what has to be done. We need to have a meeting with a guardian to make sure that you stay on track and they push you towards graduation. We know you’re a good student, so we’re giving you this chance to redeem yourself. Once we can come to a compromise with you, the guardian, and I, we’ll allow you to retake the classes online.”
“Um, w-when is it a good time to come by? ”
”Hmm, what’s today . . Oh! Thursday. I’ll set aside time for Friday, 4:30 pm, okay? Does that sound fair. “
Ooh, Y/n, you idiot! You’re done tonight.
“Thank you so much for the second opportunity!”
. . .
She’s fucked.
She stared at the paper the advisor gave. She needs to give it to Wonwoo so he can look it over so he has an idea of what meeting will be about. However, she doesn’t have it in her to do so. It’s was close to 9:30 pm and Wonwoo just pulled into the drive way. She gasped and shoved the paper in her pack back. Y/n made her way to the kitchen and waited for him to come in.
He shut the door rather roughly.
Yup, she’ll have to tell him later. He’s not in a good mood and her telling him about the meeting is not a good idea.
“You okay? ” she said softly as she watched him hang his long coat. He merely grunted and made his way to the bathroom. It was one of those days for him. Mondays and Thursday’s were the most difficult for him. Monday’s . . Well they’re just Monday’s. But Thursday’s are difficult because it’s the day before Friday and he just wants the week over.
She nervously plated his food and waited for him. She was too nervous to eat the right now and just wanted him to go to sleep so she can think of a plan. After his shower, he sits down and starts to eat. She looked at his beautiful face and the way his wet hair effortlessly made him look even more gorgeous. He quirked his eyebrow and looked at her. “Why aren’t you eating?” His deep voice sending chills down her back.
”m’not hungry” she said timidly.
He squinted his eyes and looked up and down at her, trying to read her. “Why?”
“Oh! It’s nothing. I just had a big snack earlier, that’s all. ” she said softly.
He hummed and continued to eat.
“How were your exams?”
She couldn’t think of what to say. She was silent and Wonwoo stopped eating and looked straight at her. “Y/n, I asked you something.” His hooded eyes looked into hers and she got way too nervous and looked away. Before he could say anything else, his phone rang. Y/n quickly got up and got it for him and zoomed to the bedroom.
She doesn’t know how or when she fell asleep, but she woke up at 6:32 am. Wonwoo already left as he needs to be there by 6:00 am. She was panicking on what to do since the meetings is at 4:30 and she still didn’t tell him. Maybe she could text him? No, then he’ll be in a bad mood all day and no one deserve that.
Ugh! Y/n you had one job and couldn’t even do that right.
. . .
It was 4:05 pm and she still hadn’t told him. And the meeting was in 25 minutes.
Sigh. It’s now or never.
Y/n walked in to his office and sat down in front of him. His eyes bore into hers, trying to read them. She quickly looked away and sighed for the millionth time. “Wonwoo, I’m g-going to tell you something, but you can’t get m-mad.” She said nervously as she played with his fingers.
“Enlighten me, princess.”
“I-I, uh, well, um, okay. Are you busy in about 20 minutes?”
He raised an eyebrow. “No”
“I need you to come to a meeting with me.”
He looked confused. Why would he get mad at that?
“May I ask what the meeting is for?” He said as he intertwined their hands.
Her heart fluttered but she’s not sure if it’s because he’s holding her hand or if she’s too nervous to answer him. She remained silent for a bit.
“Y/n? You okay, darling? ”
Her heart was beating out of her chest and she couldn’t formulate a sentence.
“Princess. ” He said more firmly.
She straightened up and his hooded eyes looked at her intently. “I asked why? You know I don’t like repeating myself.” Her cheeks flushed pink as she pulled away her hands and looked at the white digital clock behind him.
4:24.
Where did the time go?!
She quickly pulled out the paper from yesterday from her back pack and quickly handed to Wonwoo.
Wonwoo’s eyes skimmed through the paper and boy did he not look too happy. “You failed two of your classes?” He asked way to calmly. “And three D’s. You must’ve not learned your lesson from last time.” She was shaking slightly as the memories from that night resurfaced in her mind and she quickly shook her head no. “W-wonwoo, I-I can explain-”
He stood up and went around the desk to be in front of her. He leaned forward toward her face and lifted her chin up. “What time is the meeting?” His minty breath fanned her lips.
“4:30. ”
He looked at the clock and it read 4:27.
“You’re really in it for tonight, princess.” His deep voice said as he leaned closer.
“Let’s go”
. . .
“So, you both have been married for almost two years?!” The adviser said shocked.
Wonwoo only nodded as he look at Y/n but she was avoided any eye contact from him.
“Well in that case, I know that she’ll have no trouble to get back on track to graduate. ” He chuckled as Wonwoo let out a small laugh.
“I’m just so shocked that a professor’s wife would slack off so much to the point where her gpa drops and she’s in danger of not graduating.” The advisor laughs. Wonwoo clenched his jaw as he glanced at Y/n and she again was avoiding his eyes.
After talking for a few more minutes, the meeting was done and she would restart those class on Monday. To say Wonwoo was furious would be an understatement. The whole car ride home was silent. She saw how hard he was gripping the steering wheel and she was so scared for what will unfold at home.
As soon as he pulls into the driveway, she practically jumps out of the passenger side and quickly makes it to the front door. She opens the door, kicks her shoes off, and makes her way to the bedroom. Just as she goes the lock the door, Wonwoo stops her. He roughly pushes the door open and both of them are in a stand-off position. Wonwoo slowly walks forward and she slowly walks backward.
“Do you know how embarrassing that was, princess? Hmm? Hearing him say that a professor’s wife is slacking off? What will my students think? That my wife can’t even do well even though she has all the resources to do so? You really didn’t learn your lesson last time, did you?”
She shuddered as she remembers the last time they were there before. She gulped. “W-Wonwoo, I’m sor-”
“Uh uh. You’re not. You just love pushing my buttons, don’t you. I thought you were my good girl? Hmm? ”
Her legs finally hit the edge of the bed. Wonwoo places his hand on her chest and pushes her down roughly. He hovers above her.
“I hope you’re ready because after this, I’ll make sure you never ever have an F again.”

Mafia! Mingyu & Wonwoo
Y/n becomes tired of Mingyu and Wonwoo’s empty promises.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Living a quiet life was a simple luxury. No thoughts of your house being swatted or potential enemies targeting you. Y/n didn’t know that being with them could alter her future. No more quiet nights with the windows open. She turned a blind eye for this and chose to let the love mend the wrong way. But it was cracking. She was losing her patience with Mingyu and Wonwoo.
Y/n is very shy person and doesn’t speak up for herself. That’s what attracted Wonwoo when he picked up coffee. Everyday he saw her sitting at the cafe, far away from everyone and typing away. He memorized her order: a hot chocolate with a chocolate croissant. He found himself wanting to know more about her. What’s she like? What does she like? How does she like her eggs? He wants . . no, he needs to know her.
This infatuation with her only grew when Mingyu started to come with him to pick up coffee.
Mingyu saw the way she would brush her fringe back every so often. And how she mumbled softly the paragraphs she just wrote. Never does she bother anyone and it woke a primal instinct in him to only protect her. Protect her from the dangers of the world. But his world isn’t much safer either.
. . .
It was a beautiful Friday morning. Mingyu and Wonwoo made their way to their favorite café to see their favorite sight and of course their coffee. Today, she wore a beautiful dusty pink blouse with white a mid calf length skirt. She seemed a little tired and looked like she was on the verge of sleeping. They smiled to themselves as the line progressed.
After they placed their order, Mingyu looks up and see that she’s with someone. Confused, he looks at Wonwoo, who was just as confused. By now they completely memorized her routine. Not that it was creepy, of course not. They just happen to know how she works since she’s there three times a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And on Wednesdays, she has someone with her. That’s not weird at all. They’re just worried for her.
The other girl seemed to have a scowl on her face.
“Why are you lying?!” She exclaimed.
Y/n is taken aback. “W-what are you saying? I’m telling you the t-truth.”
“Y/n, I’m giving you one last chance to answer the question. Why were you text MY boyfriend in the middle of the night, huh?!”
“Jinah , I told you we have a p-project together with Jisoo and Jinyoung. I just asked h-him a question. That’s it. I only texted him twice.”
“YOU’RE LYING!” She screamed. “I know you want him.”
“I don’t. I don’t e-even him well enough. I won’t text him if i-it bothers. Sorry”
Jinah squinted her eyes. “I don’t want your sorry. I should get yo-“
Mingyu took this opportunity to put himself in this situation.
“Baby, there you are. Me and Wonwoo have been waiting for you.”
Y/n looked up quickly shocked and her face quickly turned red.
Jinah was quiet and awestruck.
“Come, babydoll. You’e going to be late.” Wonwoo said.
After coming back to her senses, she nodded and got up with her stuff.
“I’ll get going. Have a n-nice day, Jinah” Y/n said as she put stuff away in her bag.
“Wait, who are they. . “ Jinah asked looking them up and down.
“I’m her boyfriend Mingyu.”
“And I’m her other boyfriend Wonwoo”
Jinah was in utter shock. “Y-you have two?”
Even y/n was shocked “I do?” She said as she pointed to herself. She cleared her throat. “I have to go.” Mingyu reached out his hand. Y/n looked at it before gently placing hers in his. Wonwoo did the same.
. . .
They were outside and walk quite a bit from the cafe in silence. The realization hit y/n. She’s holding hands with two strangers she doesn’t even know. She jerked her hands by her side again. It caught them by surprise. “I-I’m sorry you had to see that. And thank you for helping me back there.”
Mingyu smiled. “It’s nothing. I’m Mingyu and he’s” pointing his hands towards Wonwoo. “Wonwoo” he answered.
“I’m y/n. I know you must be busy and I’m probably cutting into your time. Please forgive me. I d-don’t know why she would accuse me of that.”
“It’s fine. It was getting heated there. Don’t know what would’ve happened if we didn’t step in.” Wonwoo said.
She smiled softly. “I appreciate it.”
It was silent. For them it was a comforting silence but for Y/n, it was extremely awkward. “I should get going. I have to get class.”
“Oh, well it was nice meeting you, y/n. I hope to meet you again.”
“Um, I can’t just let you guys go without you thanking you properly. Maybe I can get you guys coffee?” She said quietly.
Wonwoo and Mingyu looked at each other. “Sure we’d love that.” She smiled at that.
. . .
That one coffee turned into restaurant dates to hanging back at Y/n’s place. And soon they were united as one. They were over the moon when she accepted their confession.
Y/n knew that they worked for the company “Highlight.” It was a big company and a lot of her peers were trying to get in. She also wanted to get in.
“You know we can get you in.” Mingyu said as he felt her fingers rake through his hair.
“Yeah you can work right under us.” Wonwoo continued.
“Um I don’t want to benefit from nepotism.” She said quietly. “I want to work hard and feel worthy of the position.” They both smiled. “Why are you so cute?!” Mingyu pinched her cheeks. She pouted as Wonwoo laughed.
But soon she did find a job as an assistant but not for her boyfriends. It’s a position from the management department, which was Jeonghan’s department. It was as a personal assistant. Both men weren’t too happy when she told them. “I told you doll, you can work with us.” Wonwoo said.
“I have more knowledge with management. I don’t know how I would work with communication when I could barely talk to you guys.”
Mingyu pouted. “Jeonghanie hyung is mean. Come with us.”
“No gyu. My interview is tomorrow.”
“Ugh, fine.”
. . .
There was knock on Jeonghan door. “Come in.” He looked up. “Ooh mingoo, woo. How can I help?” He said as his elbow rested on the table with his hands folded under his chin.
“Tomorrow you have interviews for a new assistant, right?” Wonwoo started.
He smiled. “Yes I do. Why?”
“I have someone to vouch for.” Wonwoo said as he pulled a copy her application out.
“Hmm L/n Y/n. What’s so special about her that you personally came to my office to vouch for her? Hmm” He smirked.
“She’s our girlfriend.” Mingyu muttered out.
He raised an eyebrow, “Ooh, I thought you two were against nepotism. What’s the change of heart?”
“Look hyung we don’t like it, but she really deserves this spot. And she may not have much work experience, but she’s wonderful with learning. Please hyung, give her a chance.”
That smirk remained on Jeonghan lips. It was silent for a bit.
“Ok. I’ll let her be my assistant. I trust Wonwoo’s words more than most. I’ll still have to interview her tomorrow.”
They both nodded. “Thank you, hyung!” Mingyu said.
“Anything for my little brothers.”
. . .
“You looked very stressed. Relax babygirl. I’m sure you did fine.” Mingyu said as he leaned in to hug her.
“I’m really nervous. He was so serious and asking a lot of questions. I feel like I couldn’t even talk.” She whined.
“Princess, you are a great candidate. I’m sure he would love you as an assistant.” Wonwoo said as he hugged her from behind.
“Yeah and we know Jeonghan hyung only picks the best of the best.” Mingyu said.
Now she’s sandwiched between them and unable to really think with their cologne filling her nose. She sighed. “What if I don’t?” She whispered. “We know you’ll get. You’re so smart, pretty girl.” Wonwoo gently rubbed her sides.
Suddenly the phone rang. She nervously looked up at them as the pulled away. “Hello.”
“Y/n, it’s Jeonghan from Highlight and I’ve throughly looked through your application as well as your opinions from the interview. I concluded that you are a perfect fit for this role. Congratulations and I hope to see you Monday morning.”
Her face held a big smile as looked at them. They smiled back.
. . .
“Y/n, what’s my schedule for today?”
She looked up at Jeonghan and said “you’re free for today.”
“Well why don’t you join me for lunch in a bit. I want to show you something.”
“Okay, I’ll come to your office later after I-“
“After you tell Wonwoo and Mingyu. I get it. I hope they’re not too mad at me.” They both laughed. “I’m sure they won’t be . . For a while.” She laughed sheepishly again.
Y/n made it across the giant building to Mingyu’s department. Wonwoo was already there. She dropped off some papers. “And where do you think you’re going.” Mingyu said as he quickly pulled her close to him. She placed her hands on his chest to push him away. “I have to go.” And quickly turned around, only to be met with Wonwoo’s chest. “To where?” He leaned down and looked with hooded eyes. She was flustered. “T-to get lunch with Mr. Yoon”
“Is that so?” His breath fanning her lips.
“Why don’t you stay with us. We’ll make it worth your while.” Mingyu whispered into her ear.
She was turning red hot. “We’re at work.”
“The office is soundproof.” This caused her eyes to get wide. Were they thinking-
“No!” She was breathless as they smirked. “I’ll get going.” And quickly made her way out the door. They let out a laugh. “See you home sweetheart.”
. . .
She made it back to Jeonghan’s office and knocks on the door. After she gets a “come in,” she opens the door and hears laughing. There she is met with a pretty lady sitting on Jeonghan’s lap. They make eye contact and she quickly looks down. The pretty lady laughs. “Ooh, they actually let you come.” “Yeah it wasn’t easy.”
Jeonghan smiles and says “Well since you’ve been my assistant for the last six months, I wanted you to meet someone.” He ushered y/n to sit in the seat in front of his desk. She sat down and looked up at them. “This is my girlfriend, Sowon” She smiled as she extended her hand and said “Nice to meet you.” Y/n smiled and shook her hand. “I figured it’s time that you two meet. Well you two have a talk over lunch. I have to get to Seungcheol.” And with that he left. “Sorry, even I don’t know what he’s thinking.” Sowon said as she sat in his seat.
. . .
Meeting Sowon was like meeting her long lost older sister. It was wonderful and she could talk about whatever questions she had. But it did get Jeonghan thinking. Well since she takes a great liking to Sowon, maybe he should let her in the secret.
The morning was particularly cold and gloomy. Which was odd since it was June. She made it to the office and greeted Jeonghan. “Good morning sir. Here’s your coffee.” He looked conflicted. “Sir. . “
“Y/n, I need you to stay after you clock out.”
“May I ask why?”
He was utterly silent.
“I. . Please just stay.”
This concerned her. “Mm okay sir.”
She picked up the files for the day and started to organize things. “And do come by yourself.” She looked up. “Jeonghan-ssi, you’re scaring me. Are you okay? Should I call Sowon?”
He sighed, “No, I’m fine. It’s important talk. I’m just a little nervous.”
This confused her. The Yoon Jeonghan was nervous. He always has this cocky look to his face and never holds a look of nervousness. Now she was extremely nervous.
Soon, the end of the day come and everyone was leaving. She texted Mingyu and Wonwoo that she’ll be coming home a little bit later. She came back to Jeonghan’s office. He looked at her and held an expression she couldn’t read. “Sit please.
He lets deep sigh before speaking, “Y/n, when you signed the contract about six months ago, you remember it said that the assistant maybe required learn additional practices outside of the company traditional practices after being hired.”
She nodded.
“And under the legal right of this company, you can’t disclose whatever it is outside of the employer. Well, there’s a key piece of information that hasn’t been said. Whatever I say, you can’t leave until your five year contract is up.”
He paused and it caused her to be very anxious.
“Y/n . . . The company is a cover up to something much bigger. We, the ceos, are apart of the Mafia family, Seventeen. We created this company to make sure we can proceed without repercussions. And as my assistant, many people will try to get you to get information out of you. These people are ruthless, not sparing anyone. It’s not in our principles to hurt children and women. But, we can’t be sure that everyone else is like that. Mingyu and Wonwoo never would’ve told you because they would’ve hid you away. But now you work here at Highlight and especially close to me, nothing is fully guaranteed about your safety. Of course not everyone is here apart of the mafia. Only the head supervisors are and some lowers ranks are. The security are our most skilled men to be protect the innocent in the company.” He looked at her. Her face was drained of all color and her hands were shaking. “Even Mingyu and W-wonwoo are a-apart of it?”
“Yes. I know you’re scared but I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. That’s why I need you to set a time out of your free time to meet up with me and talk it out more.”
“D-do they know I know?” she whispered.
“I didn’t tell them. But you can talk about with them if you want. I won’t say anything until you say something.”
“I’m scared. Why are you telling me this? Everything was fine.” She finally started to cry.
“I know you’re scared but believe me when I say that we have no bad morals. Our job as a family is to do what the government is unable to do. We were sick and tired of being pushed back and with no justice, we took it into our hands.” He sighed. “I no longer see you as an assistant, I see you as a little sister. So I knew I had to tell you. It wouldn’t be fair if something happened and you weren’t involved.”
“You’re involving me n-now. I don’t want to do anything.”
“You won’t be. Trust me.” He got up and went around to her and gave a hug to her. She cried more in his embrace. “Let’s meet Saturday at the restaurant across the cafe where you met those two. Okay?”
She looked up and nodded. “Okay.”
“Don’t be scared. We’re all here to protect our family.”
. . .
After meeting with him and getting an explanation, she was still scared because she technically was working with the most wanted men in the world. This caused her to not talk to Wonwoo and Mingyu. They tried to pry into her and see what’s bothering her, but she didn’t budge.
She came into the office one morning and Jeonghan motioned her towards him. She stood a good three feet away from him and stiffly said “Do you need something, sir?” He sighed. “Why are you being so awkward?”
Y/n shifted uncomfortably. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about?”
He stood up and walked near her. “Look, y/n. I know you’re scared and nervous but talk to me, talk to Wonwoo and Mingyu. Y/n please. Your personality changed drastically within the last 5 days. You’re giving us the cold shoulder. I already told you, you’re like my little sister. If you don’t want to talk to me, then at least talk to them two.” He pleaded. She looked down at her hands. Jeonghan took her hands into his.
And that was two years ago. She did eventually talk it out with them. And it was awkward for three weeks. She wasn’t as close to them but she eventually let them be near her again. Although she wasn’t scared of them, she was scared at the fact that none of them will make it home. And it wasn’t just Mingyu and Wonwoo she worried about. Now she had to worry about the rest of the boys too.
. . .
Although there were bumps in the road, it often smoothed itself out before the end of the day. But there’s that one bump that never seems to leave. And that is of course Mingyu and Wonwoo being late to every possible occasion. She’s been giving them many different chances to fix themselves. She is a usually patient person and she has been the last two years. And she continued to bottle up her feelings, not wanted to add on to theirs. They do apologize to her and make up with her, but how much longer can she take of constantly being a second thought? She did tell them that if they were to make a mistake like that again, she would break up with them on the spot. Terrified, both boys agreed to not be late and keep her waiting. It’s been working so far, she guessed.
“Hey princess, you got a minute?” Mingyu said as she passed by in the office hallway.
“Yeah, just a minute.” She smiled.
“Well we haven’t been able to properly enjoy ourselves, so lets out to dinner yeah?”
“Sure, what time?”
“The reservation is at 8. I’ll text you the address and you can get there as soon as you’re ready.”
“I’m looking forward to it.” She said as she leaned up and peck his lips. He smiled and pulled her in to press a harder kiss.
At 6, Jeonghan let her leave early at the request of Wonwoo. “Have fun and use protection.” She blushed red. “O-oppa, people can hear you. A-and we’re not doing that.”
“Whatever you say dongsaeng.”
And with that she went home and started her preparation. She lit up candles and took a warm bath. She moisturized and put her robe on, looking for an outfit. She settled on a baby pink dress and made her way to the dresser. She finished getting ready and looked at the time and it was already 7:15. She quickly made her way out of the apartment and made her way to the restaurant.
By the time she arrive it was already 7:53. She smiled and made her way in. The receptionist smiled and said “name”
“Jeon Wonwoo.” Y/n said softly.
“Right this way.”
She lead her into a private room with an excellent view of the city. “Before Wonwoo-ssi and Mingyu-ssi arrive, would you like to take a look at the menu?”
“Yes, please.”
She handed her the menu and said “well, take look and when you want something, please press this button and we’ll have someone come to you.” Y/n nodded and started to take a look at the menu. She look at her phone and the time read 8:12. It’s cool, they’re a little behind. They’ll be here soon.
But soon seemed to be far away thought as the time read 8:21. She called them both and got no answer. Multiple waiters and waitresses came to check up on her and if she wanted anything. She declined, wanting to eat with Mingyu and Wonwoo. She decided to call Sowon and talk to her as she felt mildly agitated.
“Unnie, are you busy?”
“Oh, Y/n, give me a sec, I’ll give you call back. I have to take care of something.”
“Oh okay.”
Just as she was going to hung up, she heard something.
“Jeonghan, I thought you told them not to go.”
“I did, but they still went. I only asked unit three to go. Hoshi is not going to be happy. Him, Jun, Hao, and Chan planned it very well. But those four going can cause more problem.”
“I get Seungkwan and Seokmin wanting to go. They’re professionals at scheming but Wonwoo and Mingyu have no reason going. They’re supposed to catch up with y/n”
Before they said anything else, y/n hung up. She heard what she needed to. They left her to complete a mission that was already being handled. Rage filled her up even more when she read the time.
9:17.
. . .
It was 10:22 when she arrived home. She took the long way home. Although she was thinking, she wasn’t thinking. Her head filled to the brim with thoughts but she can’t understand none. She waited all day for them, just for them not to show. Who does that?
Y/n couldn’t even think straight as she heard her phone buzz. It was Wonwoo calling. She scoffed and tossed her phone on the dining table and made her way to the shower. Maybe it’ll cool her off.
Nope. It didn’t.
The moment she got out after getting dressed and went to her living room, there stood Mingyu and Wonwoo with an apologetic look and her favorite flowers.
The remaining water on her felt like it was steaming off of her now.
The audacity.
“Baby, I know you’re mad but we had something come up.” Mingyu said as he walked towards her.
She scoffed. “Sure”
“We’re sorry and we know you’re mad, but we’ll make it up to you.” Wonwoo softly smiled. “We called the restaurant and they agreed to stay open for us.”
“Yeah, so wear that pretty dress again and we’ll go there again.” Mingyu said reaching out for her hands.
Her eyes widened at what she heard. Did they just disregard how embarrassing that feels? Waiting there for an hour just to show back up in hour?
“Out.”
They were both shocked.
Mingyu put the flowers on the table and said “W-what? Darling, we’re sorr-“
“I SAID OUT.” She yelled.
“Listen, we know that we’re assholes and we left you hanging but-“ Wonwoo started.
“I don’t care. I’m sick and tired of this. And nothing came up. Soonyoung-oppa had it under control. You just had to go, huh? Just had to leave me in a restaurant looking like an idiot. I can’t do this anymore. . . Let’s break up. Leave and never contact me again.”
“Y-y/n please give us another chance. W-we won’t blow it, please” Mingyu pleaded.
“I told you this before, the moment you don’t show up, I’d end it. Now leave.”
Wonwoo reached for her hand, only for her to jerk away.
“This is your fault.” She whispered.
“It doesn’t have to be like this.” Mingyu knelt down in front of her and signaled Wonwoo to follow. She was silent as she looked down at them. Her face was wet with warm tears and her thoughts were everywhere.
Perhaps breaking up with them now is a bit irrational?
Wonwoo let out a slightly irritated sigh and said “Look doll, we were a little late but it’s not like we missed the whole night and we’re offering to go back. We were doing important work. You have to und-“
No, it’s not irrational.
Her eyes cold and held no love as she bent down to his face and said “leave before I call the police.”
. . .
She closed the door after she watched them leave. It was deathly silent as she made her way to her bedroom. She looked around the room and the situation finally hit her. She let out a blood-wrenching cry. She finally did it. She broke it off.
It was officially two months since she broke up with them. It flew by and she didn’t even remember anything she did in those two months. Jeonghan tried his best to comfort her but she put her walls back up like when he told her what they really did. Not being close anymore and now maintaining only a business relationship was a weird change and Jeonghan disliked it very much. Her eyes lacked any shine and her words were cut short. He saw Mingyu and Wonwoo trying to talk to her on numerous occasions for the first few weeks after their breakup. Jeonghan tried asking her what was wrong and she didn’t give a straight answer. When all thirteen member had to sit down and discuss business, he saw his opportunity.
“What happened.” He bluntly said after they were all done with the important discussion.
Mingyu sighed and looked up finally. His eyes red and puffy. “She ended it. For good.”
“We didn’t think she would ever do it.” Wonwoo continued.
“Well to be fair, she did give you a warning that you proceeded to not heed.” Jihoon said.
“I didn’t think she was being serious.” Mingyu finally cried out. Minghao rubbed his arms, trying to comfort him.
“With women, especially when you’re already on thin ice, you shouldn’t test them.” Seungcheol said as he shuddered, remembering what his wife did to him.
“She knew. She knew that we were going to where Soonyoung was. That’s what puzzles me. If she didn’t know that, then we could’ve swayed her again. She was mad at that.” Wonwoo said as his voiced wavered.
Jeonghan squinted his eyes. How did she know? He relaxed his eyes as he remembered what happened that night. Sowon said she’ll call back but did she press end call? Probably not. He hums softly. They all look up him. “Well, I’m not sure what to say. As your friend I’m disappointed because you made her wait when she was clearly excited. And as her boss who spends most of my work time with her, I’m upset to see her like that.”
“And she’s in an ugly position right now.” Seungcheol started. “She broke up with you two and still has to see you at work. I’m surprised that she didn’t put in her two weeks.”
“Hyung don’t say that!” Mingyu cried out.
“Can’t you talk to her?” Wonwoo asked Jeonghan.
“She doesn’t even want to look with me. What makes you think she’ll listen to what I’ll say.” Jeonghan replied. He stood up and looked at them. “Besides, it’s not my business. Outside of work, what you do in your personal life, does not concern me. From that night she broke up with you two, she concluded our personal relationship and went back to an employer and employee relationship. As harsh as it sounds, you two did it to yourselves. Trust me, I’m hurt too. On one hand I want to comfort the three of you as a big brother, but on the other hand as the right hand man and second in power, I can’t delve deep into this. It’s not just her who’s in an ugly position. It’s all of us.” He walked to the doors and opened it. Before leaving he coldly said, “Get it together and don’t let it affect your work.”
. . .
Looking back at that, maybe it was harsh to say that to them, but like he said, they did it to themselves. He wished it didn’t play out like that. Watching all three of them struggling and not their usual selves is making Jeonghan upset. But what can he do?
He could plot them back together, but he didn’t think she’s ready for that. Y/n made some improvements. She started to talk to him again but not for too long. He noticed that it wasn’t just him who received this treatment. Sowon isn’t getting much of an answer from her either.
Jeonghan ran his hand through his hair. Why is this so difficult?
The door opened and revealed Soobin, one of their new members.
“Ooh Soobin-ah, come in.”
Soobin smiled and walked in. He slid a blue file on the desk toward Jeonghan. He smiled. “Is this all the information?” Soobin nodded.
“Hyung, I was going to tell this to coups hyung but since he’s not here, I’ll just tell you.” He took a deep sigh and Jeonghan looked at him intently. “A lot of NCT members are trying to dig into Seventeen and Bangtan. At first it was to mess with shipment but now it’s more personal. My unit went undercover and NCT were looking for information about any loved ones that any of you may have.” He said carefully.
Jeonghan looked at him to continue.
“So far I’ve only seen Sowon-noona but she’s well trained so she can defend herself. I’m not sure about the others.”
He clenched his jaw. “Good job soob. Hyungie is proud. Now you and the rest of the boys can take a three day trip to Jeju and relax. After you come back, there will probably be hell. Relax while you can.”
“Thank you hyung.” And with that Soobin made his way out.
He sighed. This is his sign to mend his younger brothers relationship. Why is it always him fixing relationships?
. . .
“Ughh hyung it’s 6:32 am. Why did you call us so early?” Seungkwan whined out. Scoups and Jeonghan only looked at him. “It’s an emergency meeting.” Jeonghan said as he sat. Everyone made it to the meeting.
“Yesterday, The new unit, txt, completed their task and Soobin came to me with important news. They’re trying to find our weaknesses. They already know about Sowon. Who knows if they know about your relationships?” Radio silence roamed around the room. Their face hardened. Seungcheol cleared his throat. “This means now we have to take extra precautions towards everything because we are no longer thinking for ourselves but our other halves as well. From the tech department we had these made.” He pulled out various accessories. They looked confused. So Jeonghan continued. “These are all bugged with trackers. The location is real time with no delay. I thought this could be perfect as they would be wearing this more than any other accessory they may have. After this meeting, you’ll have to go the tech department to install the program to your phone, laptop, whatever.”
Seungcheol looked at them again and said “None of our lovers know except Sowon as she’s an assassin. But everyone else’s lives are in danger. They found Sowon, a conceal and mysterious assassin. If they found her first, it’ll take no time to find the others. I have arranged temporary houses for everyone to live in until we have everything settled. So tonight, you’ll need to get packed and ready to leave.”
Jeonghan looked at Mingyu and Wonwoo. “And we have one more person to worry about. Y/n.” They both looked up at him wide eyed. And he continued, “As she is my assistant, no matter if she had a relationship with the two of you or not, she would be targeted. The two of you need to stick it to her that her life is going to be in danger in the next 48 hours. She’s not going to agree easily so ease to her. And if anything happens to her, I’ll have to reconsider your position as per the mafia contract. Because no-“
“No women or child shall get punished for my sins.” They both finished. Jeonghan smiled and said, “Go.”
. . .
Mingyu walked towards Jeonghan’s office and opened the door to reveal a tired Y/n typing away. Her back was facing the door and she didn’t look back as she said “Mr. Yoon, how was the meeting?”
Silence.
“Mr. Yoon?” She said finally turning around, only to be met by Mingyu. Her breathing stopped. It felt like time stopped for her again.
She couldn’t find the words to speak. Her words were just stuck and her eyes were slightly watery.
Mingyu was in a similar state. Not seeing her this close after this long, was giving him mixed feelings. He sighed.
“I know we didn’t leave on good terms, but I really need to talk to you.”
She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came. Instead she shook her head no. He stepped forward and grabbed her hands softly. “Please.” He pleaded.
Too many thoughts were running through her head. Should she listen to him?
“Please leave.”
But Mingyu didn’t budge. “Princess, I’m not leaving you until you agree to talk to me. It’s really important.” He whispered as he bend down to her height. Their eyes interlocked and both of their hearts thumping out of their chests.
“Ooh, minguri I don’t appreciate you trying to kiss my assistant in my office.” Jeonghan announced as he smirked.
Y/n’s hand placed her hand on his chest and pushed him. “W-we weren’t kissing.” She said nervously.
“Is that so?” Jeonghan said as he made it his desk. He looked up at the both of them and raised one of his eyebrows. “Y/n. Go get me a coffee please.” She nodded and quickly made her way out.
“Now what happened to easing it into her?” Jeonghan said a little disappointed.
“Hyung, you have to understand, it’s been months since I’ve been that close to her. I just told her I wasn’t going to leave until she agreed to talk with me.”
“You can’t just give her an ultimatum. She would pick the option of talking to you but at what cost? Her creating an even bigger distance between you three? Mingyu, think straight.”
Mingyu looked out the large windows and was thinking.
“You stay away and look over the the new house. I’ll send Wonwoo to take over.”
Mingyu’s eyes shot up. “H-hyung, I can h-handle it.”
“You can’t.” He said bluntly. “She was overwhelmed and you being that close to her, must’ve caused her to short circuit. You’re too emotional. Wonwoo can ease it better to her. Go collect yourself and relay the message to him. I’ll talk to him in a bit.”
Mingyu opened his mouth to say something but Jeonghan have a look. That look your mom gives you when you’re doing something you’re not supposed to be doing. Mingyu feels like a first grader being scolded and being sent to the corner. He let out another sigh and left Jeonghan’s office without another word. Jeonghan looked at the door.
Tch.
This is really annoying.
. . .
Mingyu made his way to his office and came face to face with Wonwoo. “Hyung. . . “ He started. Wonwoo just looked at him and waited for him to continue.
“I met with her in Hyung’s office. I told her we needed to talk but she told me to leave. I told her I wasn’t going to leave until she talked with me. But then Jeonghan hyung came and told her to get coffee.” He signed as Wonwoo came to rub his back. “He told me not to interfere with her and to just look over the new house. He wanted you to talk to her and ease to her.” Wonwoo nodded.
Wonwoo stood in front of Jeonghan’s door. He said a silent prayer to let it go smoothly. He open the door and saw it was just his Hyung. Jeonghan smiled and ushered him to sit infront of him. “I assume Mingyu told you what happened.” Wonwoo nodded. “Well I know that you listen to your brain more than your heart unlike Mingyu. You’ll have to tell her in a way she’ll understand but, not in a way that’ll scare her.”
“But, Hyung what if she doesn’t want to talk to me or what if she’s not willing to even look at me.” Wonwoo said.
“Well you’re going to have to find away to talk it to her because you know the consequences.” Jeonghan said as his eyebrows quirked up.
“Clean the mess you made, and you won’t face the ugly reality.”
Wonwoo was lost and his face showed it. Jeonghan looked at him said “She’s on the rooftop garden.”
. . .
Wonwoo made his way up to the rooftop. He saw her laying her head down on the table, taking in the sunset. He said words of encouragements to himself quiet before he made his way over there. He sat next to her and sat there in silence. She didn’t say anything until she smelt his cologne. Her head shot up and met Wonwoo’s eyes. Before she could make a run for it, he softly gripped her arm and gently guided her back down.
“I know you’re upset to see me and you were most definitely upset to see Mingyu, but we have to talk. Just give me ten minutes of your time, and make a decision from there. Please, Y/n.”
She said nothing for a little bit and just continued to scan his face. She finally nodded her head, allowing him to say whatever he needed to.
“Y/n, I don’t mean to alarm you, but the rival gang is searching into our private lives. They already found about Sowon noona, and it won’t take them long to find you. They’ll go through everything. They’ll know that you’re hyung’s assistant, and they’ll figure that we dated before. Jeonghanie hyung wants us to lay low for little bit. They already prepared houses for us. I know that we didn’t leave on the best terms , but please for your own safety, come with us.”
Again she was silent. She was processing all the words that were just said to her. She sighed as her eyes watered. Too many emotions were passing through her and she couldn’t find her words again. Wonwoo got the memo and put his arm around her and brought her face to his chest. And she finally cried. She honestly didn’t know why she was crying. Maybe because she hasn’t seen them in a while, or that fact that her life was in literal danger.
He walked down to his office and met up with Mingyu. His doe eyes looked down at Wonwoo’s and easily waited for an answer. “She said she’ll come, but doesn’t want to be near us. I told it’s fine and we can take the downstairs and she can have the upstairs.” Mingyu smiled and hugged him tightly. “Well, it’s a step in the right direction.” Mingyu said.
. . .
Wonwoo helped her bring her stuff inside the house. Unfortunately for Y/n but fortunately for Wonwoo and Mingyu, there was no downstairs, and she would have to see them. “I thought you said that there would be an upstairs and a downstairs.” She said to Wonwoo, not looking at him. “I was informed that there would be one for me and Mingyu but it seems it was a mix up on Soonyoung’s part. My apologies.” He said as placed her stuff in her room and she sat down on the bed. Mingyu was also bring in the rest of the essentials. The three of them stared at each other in silence. They were all thinking the same thing and yet no one was acting on.
“Y/n, we should talk everything out.” Mingyu whispered. She looked at him and thought about it. “Okay.”
“We left off on a bad note, Y/n. I know your emotions and our emotions were all over the place. It was pretty shitty of us to make a promise with you just for us not to keep it. Mingyu and I should’ve minded our business and not went with Soonyoung’s group. And for that we sincerely apologize.” Wonwoo started.
“It must’ve been awkward and embarrassing for you.” Mingyu continued. “There’s no excuse for us. We were given a warning and processed to not care about it. No words can express how sorry we are. You are ours to treasure and we couldn’t even keep a simple promise. ” Mingyu finished. Wonwoo knelt down and held her hand tenderly. “”Y/n I know it’s a big request, but can you find it in your heart to forgive us? We miss you so much and not a day passed without us yearning for you. Please.”
Mingyu also knelt down and took her other hand and look her in the eyes. “We made a big mistake, so let us fix it please. Let’s go back to the way we were.”
She looked at them and let out a soft smile. “I’ll give forgive you both.” Wonwoo and Mingyu both smiled and hugged her. She let them.
But she pulled away. “But, I don’t think we can pick it up where we left off.” They both looked very lost and dumbfounded. “I’m not the same person I was a few months ago. I gave multiple warnings to you both and you still didn’t listen.” The both looked defeated.
“However, we can start over. Prove to me that it won’t be like how it used to be. ”
They both looked up at her, wide eyed.
She smiled for real for the first time in a while.
“I think we’d like that.” Wonwoo said as he caressed her hands.
Mingyu grinned and said
“And we’ll take back what’s rightfully ours.”

Mafia! Hoseok
Happy Halloween 🙃
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s was the 31st, which means it was Halloween. It was Y/n favorite time of the year as she gets to leave work early and relax at home. The elders at her work place love to pass out candy to the young ones. So, they let everyone leave early to enjoy the rest of their night.
She would be enjoying her night alone as Hobi has work to do. She aware of what he does but doesn’t dwell too hard on the details. She still remembers how she found out what he does.
He left his gun on the dresser after he came home late. She went to pick up his clothes to put in the laundry, but she caught glimpse of the metallic gun. She was filled with fear and despair. Her small hands went to pick up the gun. Before she could fully touch it, Hoseok picked it up first. She watched as he put it on top of the highest shelf in the cupboard. She parted her lips and could barely get words out.
“Are you. . .”
He only nodded as he brought her to his chest.
. . .
The one and only compromise she made with him is that she would not hear anything about what he does. He immediately agreed and vowed not to mention anything.
Which is why he didn’t mention that he would be going to a party hosted by the mafia association. This party has many business men and women attend that aren’t even apart of the mafia. But for her safety, he didn’t mention it.
“Hyung, noona didn’t come?” Jungkook questioned.
He smiled at the younger male. “I didn’t tell her.”
“Huh?! Why?! She would be safe here. I even brought my girlfriend.”
“I don’t think she would want to be here anyway.”
“Hyung, now you’ll be bored for the next 3 hours.”
“I’ll be fine. Don’t worry about me”
“Okay then, have fun!”
Hoseok waved him off and turned back to his champagne. He swirled around a few times before deciding to take a little walk.
As he walked around the luxurious hotel, he sees a couple holding hands as they laugh about something. It immediately reminded him of you.
He took his phone out of his pocket and dialed you.
“Hobi!”
He chuckled.
“Hey, baby. How was your day?”
“Oh, you know the same old same old. I’m just happy to come home early and relax.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah. How was your day, hobi?”
“You know the same old same old.”
She giggled at that. “Hey, you can’t copy what I said.”
“I’m just saying how it is.”
“You busy now?”
“No, I’m contemplating of I should stay or go home.”
“Come home pleaseeeee”
He chuckled.
“Should I?”
“Yes, I made hot chocolate and I’m going to watch Halloween movies all night. And you can get free cuddles. You should join me.”
“I guess you make a good point.”
“Does that mean you’ll come?!”
“Yes, darling.”
“Okay, I’ll see you soon, Hobi.”
Hoseok made his way to the entrance of the hotel.
“Hobi!”
He turned around and was met with Namjoon.
He smiled
“Joon, I was going to look for you.”
“Are you leaving?”
“Yeah it’s pretty boring.”
“Well be sure to came back at 2:30 at the office. We have a emergency meeting with someone important in Daegu. We’ll leave around 3 and we’ll reach around 6:30ish. Yoongi hyung and Jin hyung already left.”
He nodded.
“I’ll be there. Is it good or bad?”
Namjoon sighed.
“It’s bad.”
Hoseok straighten himself and said “do I have to-“
“Yes. Say your final goodbye as we don’t know the outcome.”
He stayed silent for a bit before nodding.
. . .
There was knocking on the front door. She knew it was Hobi as he knocks in intervals of three. Y/n smiled as she quickly made her way to the door. There Hobi stood with all his glory. He was wearing all black and his hair was parted on the side. He looked very divine.
“You made it!”
He walked in and pulled her in for a tight hug. It was a little too tight.
“Hmmph. . Hobi. . You’re hurting me. .”
He quickly pulled back.
“Sorry, I’m a little tired.”
“Come on. Go freshen up and join me on the sofa.”
“I love you.”
She looked at him, a taken aback because that was random.
“I love you more.”
. . .
The clock struck 2:08am. Y/n was fast asleep on his chest. He carefully picked her up princess style and gently placed her on the bed. He looked at her peaceful face and her sleeping form. He took everything in for the last time. Namjoon said that this could be the last. He couldn’t even take her on an extravagant date or give roses by the dozen to tell her how much he loves her.
He places kiss along her jaw and temples before giving a final kiss on her lips.
He placed a letter on top of her vanity.
“A goodbye for now dear.”
. . .
To my love y/n,
I don’t know if I’ll be back tonight just know that I love you more than anything. More than words can explain. If I don’t make it back by tonight, everything in my name will become yours. You’ll be Mrs. Jung Hoseok by default. I hope you don’t stay too mad at me. This meeting was abrupt and I had no time to make you feel special. You were good to me. Maybe in another life we’ll have all the time in the world with each other. Until then, stay happy.
Forever yours,
Hoseok

Ugly Reality
Mafia! Yoongi
Yoongi’s luck seems run out as the the love of his life walks out.
Part one
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yoongi was over the moon when he found out the cute barista was ready to be his girlfriend. All it took was three dates and now she was his. Her love flowed through him and made him intoxicated by her. All he needed was her and nothing would stop him.
Hiding the mafia life from her was easier said than done. He often dodges her questions when she questions him leaving so late at night. He can never find easy lying to her. He himself hates liars and here he was lying to his girlfriend of 2 years. Now it’s only for her own good. He needs to protect her from the evil that constantly surrounds him. Her innocence doesn’t deserve to be destroyed by the life he lives.
But that soon will come crashing down.
. . .
Her sweet laughter that catches him in trance was happening too often and now he was getting distracted. He nearly miss Namjoon queue to shoot and almost costed him the million dollar deal. Namjoon was not too fond of Y/n as she was unintentionally distracting Yoongi, one of his best men. And today he was going to make sure Yoongi wasn’t going to get loose focus anymore. He walked to the new café and was met face to face with her.
“Hi! What may I get you?” She said sweetly.
Sigh
“I would like you to leave Yoongi alone.”
“H-huh? What?”
“He’s not who he seems he is.”
The visible confusion in her face caused him to lean on closer to her and whisper
“He’s apart of the mafia. He’s one of the best snipers across the Asia. People want his head on a silver platter. Now you don’t want to associate with people like that, do you?”
She shook her head no as she felt the fear take over her.
“Now, if you don’t believe me, then ask yourself this, why does he leave so late at night so often? Huh? Ring a bell?”
Her hands shook as she took steps back and stared at the mysterious man in front of her.
“I’m only telling you this since I don’t want an innocent life to go to waste like that. So it would be better if you dissociate from him, yeah?”
She was now hyperventilating. The man that she so dearly loved was a bad man. “B-but who are y-you?”
He smirked before walking towards the door
“RM”
The mafia boss was stood in front of her and she didn’t die. He really must not want her near him if he let her live.
She collapsed and let out sobs as her coworker came from the back, trying to comfort her and understand what happened. Yet, she would not say anything.
. . .
A week passed and she went into hiding, trying to avoid the man that lied about his existence. She couldn’t believe that she believed him. Y/n didn’t want to do anything with him. Her thoughts was all over the place. Two years full of lies. Was he lying about his feelings too? She couldn’t wrapped her head around what was said to her last week. The man she so dearly loved, was killing people.
But that thought caused a suddenly realization. Her eyes widened. If he’s the best of the best, then he wouldn’t have trouble finding her. Soon enough he’ll find her and kill her for leaving him. She shuddered. She took her clothes and pack up the hotel room. She needed to leave. As soon as she was done packing, she decided to cool herself off. A cool mind will let herself think.
She came out the shower refreshed. She needed to be determined to get away from him. She looked up and was was met with furious eyes. Y/n froze.
“Y-yoongi?”
He said nothing. She walked backwards slowly, thinking of a way to make a run for it. With a smooth quick movement, he pinned her against the wall. Her heart was beating out of her chest.
“You left me.” His deep voice sending shivers down her spine.
“You left me. All I wanted was your love and you left me.”
“Y-yoongi I-“
“No excuses. Just get to the point.” He said oddly calmly.
“I left because. . I was told to.” She whispered out.
He narrowed his eyes. “What?”
She looked away and the tears were bubbling in her. She felt the lump in her throat and couldn’t speak. Because she knows if she does, she’ll cry.
“Who told you to leave?!” He said louder.
Y/n was shocked. This was the first time he raised his voice at her.
“R-rm”
He looked at her and brought her head to his chest. And that’s all it took to let the waterworks go. She cried and cried. Yoongi somehow maneuvered them towards the bed. She laid on top of him.
. . .
She woke up with a headache. And the bed was cold. She turned her head and the bed was indeed empty.
She sighed.
Why was her heart yearning for him knowing what he does for a living? She needs to let him go but after last night, she doesn’t think she’ll ever let go. Those sweet words he whispered to her as he let her cry on his chest was an overwhelming feeling.
She got up from the bed and saw Yoongi come out the bathroom. She only looked at him. He looked at her with fondness.
“Y. . You need to leave me.” She whispered.
“I’m never going to leave you.” He whispered back.
“Yoongi, I can’t be with you. It’ll only hurt both of us. Please leave.” She pleaded.
“I’ll never leave. Your love is what keeps me going, darling. Just because Namjoon said to leave me, you shouldn’t. He wouldn’t lay a finger on you. He doesn’t know what I’m capable of when I angry.”
“I don’t want to come in between what you do and I especially don’t want to come in between your brotherly love for the others. Yoongi, we can’t do this. I don’t feel safe around you anymore.” She looked away.
He sighed.
“One month.”
“W-what?”
“Give me one month to fix this. I promise I’ll fix this, I’ll fix us. Please give me one month.” He hold onto her hands delicately
A million thoughts went through her head. Before she could properly formulate an answer from her head, her heart spoke first.
“Please . . Fix everything.”
. . .
It’s been one month since she seen Yoongi. She’s been healing from the shock that was brought upon her last month. She reflected on her relationship with Yoongi. His love for her wasn’t fake. It’s was genuine love. But his personal life was a lie.
She learned that she actually doesn’t know Yoongi. But she thought long and hard about the way he lives. She went through various articles about the Bangtan Brothers. She learned that they’ve been together for over 12 years. Friends turned mafia.
They were together through thick and thin. But the messed law system caused an eruption of various mafia gangs. Yoongi and his friends were no exception. That’s all that she could find about them. The public wants to know more about the infamous group, but nothing personal is ever on the internet. She suspect someone in the group is a good hacker.
That was his family. That’s what brought him up. She didn’t know how to feel about him killing people. Him and the Bangtan Brothers are essentially anti-heroes across Asia. Should she continue to stay with him? Will she risk her life? Her thoughts were cut short by the doorbell. She peeks through the peephole.
It’s Yoongi.
She quickly opens it and takes a look at him. He held a small bag and a soft smile splayed on his face.
“May I come in?”
“O-oh, y-yes.”
She moved to the side to let him in.
“I’ve come to tell you good news.” He said softly as he handed her the bag. She started at it as he sat down on the sofa. She said a seat away from him, staring at him. Her mind was a mess.
“What is it?”
“I . . I’m no longer apart of the mafia.”
“W-what? You just left them?”
He nodded.
“It’s not like I left them for good. They’re still my family. I’m just no longer an assassin.”
“B-but rm-“
“That’s why I said I need a month. I know how he is. It took some convincing. I was already thinking about leaving since the start of the year, but I never had the chance to fully think about it. You disappearing for a week made me make the move.”
“So, what will you do now?” She said softly with uncertainty.
“I’ll work at the Map of the Soul just as a business man. That’s it.”
She was unsure what she should feel. Her eyes watered and he pulled her in for a hug.
“Open the bag, babygirl.” He whispered in her ear.
She opened the bag and there laid a small box. He grabbed it before she could and went on one knee and her eyes widened.
“Y/n, you’ve been the highlight of my day for the past two years. I know that you are a gift from the heavens. They gifted me an angel and I will do everything to protect you. And so this ring will symbolize my love to you. It’s a ring of a promise to never let you feel unsafe in my presence. Until, I replace it with a different ring, this is proof of my oath to you. So, will you be my girlfriend again?”
She was in utter shock.
“Yes! Please!”
She jumped into his arms and kissed all over his face. He smiled as he pulled away to do the same to her. He gave a long kiss on her lips.
“Today will mark a new beginning for us.”
She nodded as he placed the ring on her finger. Y/n took a good look at it.
. . .
Two weeks ago in Namjoon’s Office
“So you’re leaving us for a girl you’ve know for two fucking years.”
“I told you I’m not leaving. I’m just giving up the position as the assassin. I can’t keep lying to her like this.”
“Hyung, you can’t just give it up. You’re the best of the best. Don’t make irrational decisions in the heat of the moment. If she really loved you she would understand why you do what you do.”
“Then does she know what you do?” Yoongi knew not to mention anything about Namjoon’s wife, but Namjoon hit the wrong nerve.
Namjoon sighed.
“No, she doesn’t.”
“Well mine does. And she wants out. I can’t live without her. She is what’s missing in my life. I need her, Namjoon.”
He was quiet. He was thinking. Finally, he thought of something.
“I’ll let you off the position if you can do some jobs when I need you to. I won’t ask you to snipe any petty criminals, but more of the important ones.”
“Like politicians?”
“Exactly. Well can you?”
Yoongi sighed. This was the only option.
“Okay, only if it’s important. But other than that I’m just a regular CEO at Map of the Soul.”
“Yes, Mr. Min.”
. . .
He looked down at her as they laid down and smiled. She was in his arms again. He’ll try everything to answer her questions and anything she wants to know. He’ll intertwined their souls as one. He needs to be that close with her. He only needs her.
“You’ll always be my pretty little fiction, baby.”

Sweet Innocence
Mafia! Seungcheol
Going on walk after a meeting was the best decision Seungcheol made.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being the leader and having so much responsibility, makes Seungcheol a very grumpy man. He almost never smiles outside of drinking with his members. They often joke no one will ever marry him if no one ever sees him smiling. He often rolls his eyes at that. Of course he messes around with many different women but never really settles. Not that he minds settlement, he longs for it. But he’s nervous to tell a potential love of his life that he runs a very dangerous gang.
He tries to push that behind him, acting like it doesn’t matter. But it bothers him a lot. A lot of women want him but he doesn’t want them in the same way. He wants to be loved and not loved for his money or his fame for being one of the ceos of Highlight.
. . .
It was Friday night and the boys were done with a business meeting. They went their separate ways and Seungcheol was left alone. He was walking aimlessly. Nothing on his mind and was enjoying the street light illuminating the quiet roads. Maybe this is what he wants? A peaceful life and the breeze going through his hair.
“Ummph”
He looked down at who bumped into his chest. Sweet innocent eyes stared back at his tainted ones.
He smirked.
No.
This is what he wanted in life.
“Uh. . I’m s-so s-sorry! I wasn’t looking.” She fumbled out.
“Are you sure it wasn’t because my handsome face distracted you?” He said a little too cockily.
She was a taken aback.
“W-what?”
“You heard me, dollface. My handsome face was too distracting, mhm?”
It’s almost as if she was in a trance. “Uh what?!no! I got to go!” She quickly made her way passed him. He chuckled.
“I’ll see you around, cutie!” He shouted as she slowly disappeared from his sight.
He turned back around to continue his walk, but stepped on something. He bent down and picked it up. It was an ID.
L/n Y/n, mmh
He smirked. This was going to be interesting.
. . .
A few nights have passed since that encounter with the handsome man. His face seemed oddly familiar. Y/n couldn’t put her finger on it. Maybe they have classes together? She tried not to dwell to hard on why his handsome face was filling her head.
It was close to nine and she was headed towards the library. She needed a book for her class that she forgot to get before leaving campus. She silently cursed herself. The sun was setting. Only a sliver of the sun remained. She needed to be quick.
Soon the glass doors came into view and she walked in quietly. The Liberian smiled at her and said a soft, “Welcome”
Y/n returned her smile and went to towards the various books. She made her way towards the historical books. The book stood there in all its glory. After she picked it up, along side other books, she reached into her pocket for her student id.
It’s not there.
It’s cool. Maybe in her bag?
Not there either.
She started to freak out. The library was going to close soon and she wouldn’t have enough time to go back to her apartment and get the id.
She was hysterical. The outline was due tonight and she wouldn’t be able to do it until tomorrow.
“Looking for this?”
She heard behind her. She whipped her head back. It was the handsome man from the other night. Her eyes widened. “Y-yes. Please! I need to check the books out. The library will close soon.” She softly said. He smirked.
“Hmm” he tapped his chin. “Should I?”
Her eyes widened again. Was he really playing after she said that the library was closing soon? Before she could say anything else, he said “Give me your number.”
Huh?
“Y-you want my number?” She said uncertainly.
“Yes, I need your number.” He leaned down to her height.
“Time is ticking.”
She quickly took out her cute memo pad and wrote her number down in record time. He took her number so graciously and handed her the id.
She bolted towards the front desk and he let out a low chuckle.
. . .
She walked out of the library with a satisfied smile. She got her books and now she can finish assignment. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she bumps into something.
Sigh
She was here before.
Y/n looked up from his chest and stared at his face.
That smirk was there again.
“My, you must really like me, huh” He said as he brushed away the baby hair from her face.
“Huh?! When did you get down?! I didn’t even see you?!” She exclaimed as she jumped back. He smiled at her questions.
“As much as I would love to answer that, you need to finish that paper, don’t you?”
“O-oh yeah. . I do”
“Well then, until next time Ms. Y/n.” He said as waved goodbye.
She gently waved goodbye.
As she walked back to her apartment, she comes to a sudden realization.
“Ahhh. . I should’ve asked for his name. Then I could’ve known why his face is so familiar.” She thought out loud.
. . .
It was Friday and Seungcheol was walking through the quiet streets of Seoul. Not a single person in sight. The nice cool breeze wafts through his hair. He lives for this.
He spots a convenience store and decides to get a few snacks and sit by the Han river. He walks in and looks around, trying to decide what to get.
“You. . .” The voice said softly.
He looked up and met Y/n’s eyes. He let out a genuine smile. “I might have to really make you mine if we keep meeting like this.”
“I-I’m here to get snacks not to see you.” She stuttered out.
“Hmmm, is that so?” He gently smirked.
She let out a soft pout and turned around. He laughs softly and pulled her back gently by her wrist. “Come sit with me by the river.” He said as he took her small basket of good. “I’ll even pay for you.”
“N-no it’s fine, I’ll pay.”
“It’s fine, if I like something I don’t mind spending anything on it.”
She blushed as she let go of the basket.
. . .
They sat at the bench, quietly eating away.
He kept stealing glances from her and was in awe with how beautiful she was.
“Um. . What’s your name?” She asked softly.
“Choi Seungcheol.”
“Oh . . That sounds famil- Wait? THE Choi Seungcheol?! Like one of the CEO’s of Highlight Choi Seungcheol?!”
He laughs full heartedly.
“Yes, the Choi Seungcheol of Highlight.”
Y/n was at a lost for words. One of the most sought after man was right next to her, eating ramen.
She must’ve been too lost as Seungcheol waved his hands in front of her.
“You okay?” He let out a little laugh. He was beyond nervous for her reaction.
“I’m fine.” She said.
“Your ramen is getting cold.” He pointed with his chopsticks.
“Shouldn’t you be working instead of eating ramen?”
“Today’s Friday. I don’t like working after 8. I like going out on walks after drinking”
“Oh. . Sounds reasonable”
“Shouldn’t you being working instead of eating ramen so late?”
Y/n sheepishly laughed.
“I’m procrastinating.”
“Procrastinating won’t helping you life, you know.”
“I don’t what to write. It has to be an influential figure in our day and age.”
“Well . . Write about me.”
“Huh”
“Write about your handsome boyfriend that contributes to the economy annually.”
“You’re not my boyfriend”
“I can be if you want.
“What are you talking about? I barely know you. You c-can’t be my boyfriend.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
She looked at him wide eyed.
“I’ll treat like the royalty you are. I’ll hold you close. I’ll love you forever.”
She couldn’t believe what he was saying.
“Y/n trust me. I won’t make you regret.”
“B-but what will peopl-“
“I don’t care about what people think. I care about what you think. Will you?”
She thought about it. He is charming and the public always praises his selflessness.
“I- okay. I’ll go on a date with you.”
He smiled.
“Now your essay will be accurate.”
He smiled as she let out soft giggles.
. . .
Thank god for Chan’s ability to hack into her personal profile with her number. He was able to see everything about her. Maybe that’s a little creepy to know every thing about her. But he couldn’t help it after she bumped into him that fated night. It’s like the universe wanted him to protect her himself. He’s going to make sure that she is shielded away from the life he lives.
That’s all he needs. He’ll make sure that the sweet innocence never fades. He smirked.
“You’re all my mine babygirl.”

Deception
Mafia! Jun
Jun gets a unsettling feeling in his gut. Was he worrying for nothing? Or was karma finally getting him back.
This is a part 2 to “I Flower You”
Tumblr media
Life has been good for Jun for these last 6 months. He got his sweet girlfriend by his side, no one threatening Seventeen, and he even got promoted at Highlight from businessman to company representative. He’s gotta use the manipulation skills to better benefit the family. The love of his life was still not questioning why he buys so many flowers but she did question why he goes out so late at night. He brushes it off with a “oh just distributing some assets to our clients, nothing too special bao.” But Jun would take her to the office building late at night so he could prove a point. That point being that it’s just late night business. Of course he wouldn’t take her when it’s serious business. He was doing a good job hiding what he does.
But he couldn’t help but feel this unsettling feeling in his gut these past few days. Maybe this will be his demise? So the past few days he’s been giving extra kisses and extra I love you’s to Y/n. If he goes, then at least the one thing he treasures will know how much he loved her.
. . .
“Junnie, let’s gooooo” Y/n as she pulled him towards the door.
“Just a second baobao, I need make this gift is perfect.”
“You have been looking at the same patterned shirt with different colors for the last 30 minutes.”
“I need to invision him wearing it.”
“Who is this for? They must be someone real important for you to be staring for that long.”
“The same person you’re meeting Saturday”
“Oh, what was his name? S. . Sen. . Ah Seungcheol!”
“Yes you’re right” he chuckled.
“He’s your friend right?”
“He may be my friend but he’s also my boss. Gotta be professional.”
. . .
Saturday rolled around and they were getting ready to meet at Seungchol’s house. His wife already called three times asking why they’re so late.
“Jun, hurry up. He’s just your friend why are you being so nervous?”
“Beibei I told you, he may be my friend but he’s still my boss. And I’m making the two most important people in my life meet, of course I’m nervous.”
“Honey, it’ll be fine. I’m also nervous. I know how much you look up to Seungcheol-ssi”
He put his forehead against hers said whispered “I just don’t want anything to wrong.”
“Nothing will.” She whispered.
He pulled away and he cleared his throat. Jun gave a soft smile as he held her hand.
“Let’s go bao.”
. . .
They pulled up in front of the large gate. Behind the gate was a huge mansion. “Woah! Jun you didn’t tell me he was this rich.”
He simply chuckled as the guard gave the thumbs up to drive in. He parked and went to the passenger side to open her door. “Jun I can’t go in.” She said as she clutched onto the seatbelt. Jun was confused.
“I should’ve know he’d be this rich being one of CEO’s. And I especially should’ve know when I seen your penthouse. I don’t think I fit this lifestyle. I’m so nervous. I can’t.” Y/n said as looked away from Jun. “Take me home, Jun.”
“You told me not to be worried anything and now you’re worried about hyung being rich. I told you about him. He’s very friendly. He’s like an older brother I’ve never had. He’ll never make you feel bad. Don’t be scared.” He said softly. “Trust me, bao. He may seem scary but he only wants the best for his 12 younger brother. Don’t be intimidated.” Y/n looked up at him.
“Okay, I’ll try not to be”
He smiled as he unbuckle her seatbelt and helped her up. Jun gave peck to her lips. “No matter what beibei, you’ll always be mine.” He smirked. They both finally walked to the front door and walked in.
“Finally the two lovebirds are here” A man greeted them with a bright smile.
“Y/n this is Seokmin, Seokmin this is Y/n.” Jun said as he gave space to let her shake his hand.
“Please to finally meet you. He wouldn’t stop gushing about you for almost a year straight.” Seokmin said as he shook her hands.
“It’s nice to meet you too. I’ve heard a lot about you as well”
“Hope it’s all good talk”
Y/n smiled as Jun lead her around and getting her to meet every one, even Seuncheol’s wife.
“And that’s all of us.” Soonyoung said.
“But. . . Uh” Y/n said softly.
“But what dear” Seungcheol’s wife said with a soft smile.
“Uh, where is Seungcheol-ssi?”
“Oh” His wife chuckled.
“He’s here, he’s added finishing touches to dinner. Would you like to meet him?”
“Umm from the picture that are hanging on walls, he seems scary.”
Everyone laughed at her innocent comment.
“He’s a real softie when you get to know him. Here, come with me. We’ll meet him in the kitchen.”
“Um Jun are you not com-“
“Don’t worry about him. Let’s go meet the man himself.”
“O-okay”
They walked towards the kitchen and there he stood, with his Hello Kitty apron.
“Yeobo, this is Jun’s girlfriend. She’s a little nervous too meet you. Be nice to her while I go set the table.”
And with that she left, leaving her with him. Even being in his presence was scary.
Her cheeks were flushed red with how nervous she was.
“Um . . I-I’m Par-rk Y-Y/n. Nice to m-meet you.”
He chuckled at how flustered and nervous she was being. He ruffled her hair and said “I’m Seungcheol but you already know that. I promise I may look mean, but I care for my younger brothers and now my younger sisters. You know.”
“Wait, you’re not going to interview everything about me and intimidate me into leaving Jun?!”
He laughed as he ruffled her hair again. “You’re so cute! But I don’t do that. I can see through people and I can tell you’re a tender and caring person. You mean no harm to Jun.” He gave a soft smile and said to her “Welcome to the family, Park Y/n.” And pulled her in for a hug. “You know I’ve been wanting a new younger sister for a while now.” She laughed softly at that. His wife came in at that exact moment and saw the wonderful site. She quckily ran to the living room and pull Jun towards the kitchen. “Look at this Junnie.” Pride bloomed in his chest as he saw them hugging and getting along. Maybe he worried for nothing.
. . .
Hours passed and now it was nearing midnight. They boys were getting a little too drunk and were messing around. The ladies were already beyond drunk, especially Soonyoung’s fiancé. She was speaking gibberish and wobbling around. Y/n quietly chuckled at her shenanigans. She hadn’t drunk all night and had the pleasure of watching everyone be silly. Jun was a little buzzed but still conscious in his thoughts.
“I think we should head home.” Y/n said as she got up. “YoOoU” Soonyoung’s wife hiccups. “YoOu’Re SoOo LuCkY. yOoUr InNoCeNtS iS hErE. I wAn mInE BaCk.” She whined.
“I think you should rest unnie. You had a little too much to drink.” Y/n said as she tried to help her lay down.
“nO! dO yOu KnOw wHat yOu GoT yOuRsElF iNtO? Huh?!”
Y/n started to feel uncomfortable. What was she on about? She opened her mouth to speak but Soonyoung’s fiancé beat her to it. “He’s in the mafia. All of our lovers are. They are Seventeen. I thought since he brought you here, you’d know, but you don’t.” She pouted. “I want to go back to when I didn’t know what Soonyoung did. Now I constantly stress about him and others around us. It’s soooo scary.” She continued.
But Y/n heard enough. He lied to her? She should’ve known. It’s obvious as to why he bought so many flowers. To pluck out information. She was unintentionally helping a criminal. She was now sick to her stomach. The last 16 months were her fantasizing about one of the most wanted man and she had no clue. She should’ve trusted her gut that day. She shouldn’t have confronted him. She should’ve acted like she knew nothing and act indifferent to the news. Why did she have to believe him so blindly? She needs to leave before she falls in even more deep. He betrayed her and now her own life could be in dangerous.
Her head whipped up to meet his. There was utter silence in Seungcheol’s enormous living room. She was shaking in fear as she looked around. All 13 of them were dangerous men of Asia and here they were drinking away like it was nothing. Y/n’s breathing quickly became irregular as she couldn’t think right. All she wanted was to be far way from Jun. And so finally her fight or flight finally kicked in and she bolted for the door. Jun quickly followed behind her as she ran across the driveway and onto the road. Jun lost track of her for a good 3 minutes. She was small but boy was she mighty. She was able to outrun and now was out of sight. That was until Jun heard small tip taps from the other street. He ran towards the other street and was able to catch up. Y/n was face to face with Jun and felt the fear take over her.
. . .
She woke up in her shared room. Y/n shot up and noticed she was in her pajamas. She jumped up from the bed and went to the kitchen. There she saw Jun and her blood ran cold. She couldn’t move, frozen in fear.
“Are you alright bao? You were whimpering in your sleep. I tried waking you but you weren’t responding,so I came to grab water to sprinkle on your face.” Jun said calmingly as he moved towards. She quickly walked away firm and yelled out “S-Stay a-away fro-om me-e” she stuttered out. Jun looked confused. “Are you okay? I know you were having a nightmare. Talk to me please.” He pleaded as he tried taking her hand. She flinched back, “You are in the mafia. You lied to me. I can’t believe I didn’t trust my gut. I was to blind to see past you.” She cried. “I told you I work at Highlight and I even showed you my coworkers. Bao, you even came to my promotional party. It would be impossible to be a business man and in the mafia. Why are you so scared.” She looked at him in disbelief. Was he really lying after what took place at his boss’s house. She was shaking out of fear again. “Ài ren, are you feeling okay? I’ve been worried for you. We even had to cancel plans to go to hyung’s house. You didn’t look good at all when I came back.” He said as he gently lifted her face, brushing the stray hairs behind her ear.
Now she was confused. “Wha. . We were just at their house. What are you talking about?”
“Bao, we made plans to go to their house Sunday, which is today.”
“N-no you said Saturday, I even wrote on the fridge’s calendar. Don’t lie to me.”
He sighed before pinching his the top of his nose bridge. “Go look at the fridge then.”
She made her way there and written in her writing “Dinner at Seungcheol-ssi’s house” under Sunday.
“How? I-I remember w-writing it on Saturday.”
“Beibei, I think you need rest. Let’s go to bed it’s already 11:30.”
He leads her back to bed and climbs in with her. She faced away from him. There was silence looming over them. Tears continuously streamed out. Y/n was confused and lost on what to think. But that got her thinking. He never would go act suspicious when phone calls came. He talked very professionally on the phone and no words would be out of place. Jun even took her to his office building late at night when clients would call.
Oh god.
She accused him of something based on her dream. Y/n quickly turned around and hugs him close and cries even more. He only held on. “I’m sorry for accusing like that. I’m just so scared and the dream felt so real and it was awful.” He shushed her and continued to rub her back, comforting her. “It’s okay, everything will be okay.”
She fell back asleep as Jun assured her that he wasn’t mad. Jun caressed her puffy face and gave a loving kiss on her forehead. Thank goodness she believed him. That was an agonizing fours hours trying to get everything sorted, making a foolproof plan to not let these 16 months go to waste.
————
That was until Jun heard small tip taps from the other street. He ran towards the other street and was able to catch up. Y/n was face to face with Jun and felt the fear take over her. He grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him. Then he quickly hit a nerve on her shoulder which caused her to pass out. She fell into his arms and he picked her up bridal style. Jun made it back to S.coups’ house and by the looks of it, the boys sobered up real quick. All the ladies made their way upstairs, probably too drunk comprehend anything. But Soonyoung’s fiancé came towards him crying, “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to say anything, I was so drunk. I’m sorry!”
“It’s fine. You were drunk, just be cautious next time.” He said, assuring her that it was an accident.
“Hyung what should I do? I don’t want her to leave. I really love her.” Jun said looking up to Seungcheol.
“Just explain it to her, she maybe mad but she’ll come around.” Jeonghan cut in.
“The difference between your girlfriend and mine is that she’s been with you for three fucking years. Of course she’s not going to leave you. We’ve been together for only six months. It wouldn’t matter to her if she left this relationship.”
Seungcheol sighed as he went into thinking. “Okay what you’re going to do is go back home and get her dressed back into her pajamas. Then make her believe that the dinner party is on Sunday instead of Saturday. Act like you had to cancel because she didn’t look well.” Jun nodded as he was formulating on what to say when she wakes up.
“Well since you hit her nerve in her shoulder, I’m assuming she’ll be up in an hour, so Shua will give you some sleeping medicine to feed her and she should be up around 8 pm Sunday. Alright?”
Jun nodded. He made it to the car and gently buckled her in. He was nervous for the first time in a while. He did this plenty of times with other people but this was the love of his life on the line, making her believe that he’s not what he is. Her sweet laugh lingered in his head as the nervousness slowly left him. That is what he was fighting for.
. . .
Jun stared at her innocent face. She went a full 16 months without knowing before yesterday night. Now he knows to be extra cautious with certain things. He can’t let her leave, this is something he’ll have to work around. She doesn’t have to know and she’ll never know. He’s going to make sure. He’ll fight hell and back just for her to have a peace of mind.
Jun was not the kind to nervous but this was another level. This is not the end of the story. They’ll continue to write on until there’s nothing left to say. Jun wanted this fairytale to continue and he will make continue no matter what.
“Like I said beibei, you’ll always be mine”

I Flower You
Mafia! Jun
The cute florist that Jun likes, heard something she was not suppose to hear.
Tumblr media
Wen Junhui is a very charming man. Every red flag seems to slip pass from the next victim. With his sultry eyes and seductive tone, anyone is at his mercy, giving him what he’s wants; information. Information that keeps Seventeen ahead of the other mafias. Information that keeps Seventeen as one of the best mafia family across Asia. Although he seduces and manipulates many people, his eyes always seem to linger back to the pretty little lady in the flower shop.
The flower shop is a place he often visits. Not just only for flower he buys for his potential victims but also for Park Y/n. The sweet face that always greets him and never questions why he buys so many different flowers that often. Her innocent eyes that peer into his sinful ones makes him go crazy. Jun calls her various nickname like she’s his. He wants her all to himself. But that’ll be a rookie mistake for taking a piece of eye candy when others are willing to destroy your only source of satisfaction.
“Welcome back, Jun.”
She smiled softly at him. He returned the smile and said “I would like a bouquet of purple lilacs please.”
She nodded as she went to the crates that held the various flowers and picked the ones that would best fit. But Jun noticed something. She was being quiet. By now, she would’ve told him how couples were being cute and picked flowers for each other or something like that. But she said nothing.
“Is there something wrong, baobei”
She said nothing as she nervously wrapped the flowers up. He furrowed his eyebrows.
“You can tell me anything baobao.” He said as his gently cupped her small hand.
She pulled her hands back to her side. “Um… I’m going to ask you something and you have to answer honestly, okay?”
He furrowed his eyebrows. “Okay?”
“What do you do for a living?”
Huh? That was the question?
“Oh. . . I told you already I’m a businessman. Remember for Highlight?”
“No you’re not”
He furrowed his eyebrows again.
“Why are you suddenly asking again?”
“These two men came in and said to tell you that Seventeen is now on their hit list and if you’re smart you’ll leave what you treasure most. Are you affiliated with Seventeen?”
“No. I just told you I work for Highlight. I don’t even know who would say that about me. I’m just as confused as you.”
“You’re not lying, are you?”
“Of course not! You’ve known me these past 10 months. Why would I lie about something like that?”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course, baobao”
She looked at him closely, trying to find a slip up in his expression but there was none. Maybe he was telling the truth? She walked out from behind the counter and walked in front of him. She looked up at him and gave him a big hug.
He smirked and returned her hug.
“I’m sorry for you accusing you like that. It’s just that the whole mafia thing scares me and a lot of young people come in and out of here. I didn’t want to danger them.” She mumbled into his chest.
“I would never bring harm to you, bao”
She gently pulled away from him and looked in the eyes for a second and said
“I would like to tell you another thing”
“I’m all ears.”
“I . . . like you Jun.”
She averted her eyes and continued.
“I don’t know how or when I fell for you but I fell hard. You and your sweet words is what I look forward to everyday. I love how you check up on me and walk me home sometimes. I appreciate you, Jun. and I was heartbroken when I heard what those two men said. I though your life would be in danger and I would lose you. But then again I was mad at you for coming in here and potentially danger of the locals. Oh god, I was rambling. I’m sorry! I understand if you don’t like me back. Thank you for your tim-“
He pulled her by the waist and placed his lips on her soft ones.
“You’re so cute.”
She blushed furiously as he kissed her again.
“I like you a lot too, Y/n. But bao, as much as I would like to stay and keep kissing all evening, I have flowers to give out. If you don’t mind, can you ring me up?” Jun said as he gently caressed her face.
“Oh my, I forgot about that. I’m sorry. I’ll do that right away.”
He chuckled as she stumbled her way back behind the counter and started to get to work.
She quickly calculated his cost and handed him receipt. She looked up at him and gave a soft smile. He smiled at her fondly and said “I should get going. These have to go to an important person. I’ll come get you at closing time, yeah?”
She nodded and leaned against the counter, towards him expecting something.
How cute.
He leaned down and pecked her lips. She pulled back and whispered “You should get going.”
Jun nodded and gave her one last kiss before waving her goodbye.
. . .
He wasn’t expecting for that to happen. This is a big risk since his face and name was now floating around. He knew the consequences of having someone special waiting for him.
But does he really care? No.
He did get what he wanted for so long, that sweet little lady at the flower shop. Jun was going to relish every bit of her soon enough and he was very giddy.
His mood changed drastically when he remembered what she told him earlier.
Seventeen on a hit list, huh?
He took out his phone and dialed the boss.
“Coups, it seems like we have to send out some higan flowers out soon.” He smirked.
He couldn’t waited to rip their tongues out for almost ruining his chance with Y/n. How dare they even show their face in her ethereal presence?
. . .
Somewhere far
“Tsk tsk. You could’ve came to our building and told us then. Maybe you wouldn’t be in the predicament. Now tell me how you know what you know and maybe I’ll let you go.” Jun said lazily.
Silence
“Hmm not going to talk?” He raised his eyebrows.
“Okay, Hao do your thing.”
Screams were heard across the basement. Soon enough, they fessed up and said they worked for NCT. The news hadn’t reach them yet so Jun was safe for now. The two men were suspicious of the group since that night at the party where Jeonghan ran off to save his relationship. It was kinda funny honestly. But these two decided to stalk them and see what they find so they can rank higher up. This was a blessing as NCT was not aware of their little rendezvous.
“Please let us go. We won’t even tell them.” One of them yelled out.
“Matter of fact, we’ll leave NCT and not even associate with SM as a whole. Please let us go.” The other cried out.
“Hmm, if you were smart, then you wouldn’t have gone and told the pretty lady in the flower shop. But you just had to run your mouth, huh. You could’ve rank number 2 or 3 if you told them. Our 10 year bond would’ve been broken. Seventeen would’ve fell and NCT would be on top next to BTS. Shame you couldn’t use your brain.” He said bitterly.
“You two will be meeting the rest of your comrade that tried to stop us in hell soon. Give a hi to them for us.” He laughed maniacally before aiming his gun on one of them men. He shook his head no as Jun was closer to pulling the trigger. His phone suddenly rang-
“Jun, it’s almost 7:30. I already closed the shop. Are you not coming?” Her sweet voice said putting him in a trance.
“I’m sorry, bao. I lost track of time. Give me 20 minutes. I’ll be there soon. Okay?”
“Okay”
He ended the call and looked up at Minghao. “Finish the job and make it look like an accident.” Jun said while putting his jacket back on. Minghao simply smirked. “Of course.”
. . .
“There you are! I was getting worried for a second there.” She said softly as she hugged him.
“It’s been barely 6 hours since we last saw each other. Do you like me that much?” He smirked.
“Maybe”
“Just maybe?”
He intertwined their hands and brought the back of her hand to his lips.
“Let’s go home, baobei”

Little Miss Hero
Prince! Jimin
A mysterious maroon book catches the eye of Y/n. Maybe this book was much more than what the eye catches?
Tumblr media
The small hope that was lingering was slowly dissipating. No hope of anyone saving him. The curse that bonded him to this castle was growing stronger as he was losing hope. He’s been stuck there for over six years for goodness sake. No one was going to find the missing Prince of Busan.
. . .
It was finally Friday and Y/n was walking home from her classes. She was beyond tired and was ready to retire in her bed. She walked passed the library and decided to go in. Getting her books now will save the hassle tomorrow.
Her eyes went through various books to pick out the ones that were both necessary for classes and for her own enjoyment.
Someway and somehow, she in the deeper parts of the library. Her eyes came across a rusted maroon color book. It had various gold accents and strangely enough, the spine of the book had no title. She carefully picked up the book and flipped to the front. There was written “stained destiny” in traditional hangul calligraphy. She opened the book and all she saw was blank pages. Hmm, maybe it needs to be read under a black light?
What an interesting book.
. . .
Soon she made it home and went straight for the shower. And after a good 30 minutes, she came out refreshed but still very tired. She went towards the kitchen and heated up leftovers from yesterday’s dinner. As it was being reheated, she saw the book. It was no longer the beautiful maroon color, but rather a plain white. It still had the golden accents but the title changed. It was now “destined to be free.”
Huh?
Was she daydreaming at the library?
She shook her head and approached the book. Y/n was hesitating to open it. What if it was cursed and she was inviting evil into her life? After contemplating, she opened it. There were now words written in a metallic blue ink in each page. However, the pages weren’t full from top to bottom. There were few words per page.
Once the nations pride
Now the nation takes a stride
In looking for the sweet eyes
That never lie
He’s been gone for long enough
Want to be found with no bluff
Help the sweet soul
And be blessed with riches and gold.
His highness is waiting
“Cute poem” she thought.
She heard the microwave ding and went to get her food. She turned on her tv and begin eating.
. . .
She didn’t know how, but she fell asleep and woke up with a crick in her neck. It was the weekend and she can destress from this week’s troubles. But she can’t simply be at with unsettling change in the book.
She went back to the counter and the book was now a royal purple shade. She carefully opened the book and the lettering changed again. There was much fewer words.
Where the beauty hides
Is where all secrets lie
Have a peek and
You’ll receive what you seek
His highness is waiting
Huh?
Where… what?
Maybe this will lead to treasure? But where will she even follow? Or where will she even have a good idea of what she’s getting herself into?
She walked to bathroom to get ready for the day. When she was done, she came into the kitchen to prep for breakfast.
After having a light breakfast, she decided to walk around the streets of Seoul to take in the beauty. Y/n dressed up and was going to make her way out when the book caught her eye. It was now a burnt orange shade.
She carefully opened it again.
In the heart of the home
Lays a secret
Closer than you think
You must come
And bring back what the home
Is missing
Y/n
Only you can help
It knows her name?!?
She’s was now a little freaked but decided to search for this treasure that the book is adamant about. She turned to the very last page and there was sketch of a large tree. Behind the tree, a long castle.
That tree looked oddly familiar. She kept thinking where she had seen this tree, but it couldn’t come to her.
. . .
A week passed and she still hadn’t figured out where she had seen the tree. When she went to look at the sketch again, the book went back to its original maroon shade.
“Y/n, c’mon. It’s the middle of June and Busan is having the biggest festival of the year and you don’t wanna come.” Arin whined. “Plus my mom said she wanted to see you again. Come on we’ll have good food at my mom’s house and go to the festival. Pleaseeeee!”
“Fine but it’ll only be a 2 day stay okay? I have stuff to do.” Y/n huffed out.
“I knew you’d come around. Okay let’s pack because we leave tonight.” Arin said as she walked towards the front door.
“Tonight?! Arin I can’t leave everything behind right this second!” She exclaimed.
“You said you you come. No take backs. Now pack and I’ll pick you up at 6:30, okay” Arin said as she finally walked out.
Oh my goodness.
. . .
And so they both finally left for Busan and arrived at the brink of dusk. It was a beautiful sunrise as they pulled into Arin’s parents’ house.
“Oh my! Both of you seem to have gotten even more prettier.” Arin’s mom exclaimed.
“Thank you!” They both said at the same time.
“Oh, Y/n we’re going to be visiting the old palace in the middle of Busan.” Arin said as she put her duffel bag on the bed
“We went there last time though”
“We didn’t go inside. It’s only a 100,000 won fee.”
“Isn’t that expensive for seeing where the royal family used to stay for festivals?”
“It’s the royal family. Everything is expensive”
Y/n rolled her eyes.
“Fine, we’ll go after we nap.”
“Yay Nap time!” Arin said as she finally plopped down.
. . .
at 6:45 pm
“Let’s goooooo, Arin” Y/n whined out.
“I’m almost ready” she yelled back.
Y/n heard footsteps thumping again the wood floors. “Okay let’s go.” Arin said as she linked their arms.
Soon enough they arrived at the old palace that has been abandoned for the last six years. Since the disappearance of Prince Jimin. They didn’t even come visit the people of Busan since their oldest son wasn’t there to enjoy it too. Y/n remembered how his younger brother, Jungkook, was a mess when they couldn’t find him, on national tv. It broke her heart. She couldn’t imagine what type of pain the family felt. It’s hard not having closure from something that pains you.
“Wow was the palace always this big?” Y/n said as she took in all the glorious paintings and beautiful sapphire embellishments across the walls and pillars.
“Hey I think I saw Jihoon.” Arin said as she grabbed her arm and dragged towards the entrance.
“Like super smart musical genius Jihoon?”
“Yes the super smart musical genius Jihoon. Also I think I saw Seungcheol, Jeonghan, and Jisoo too.”
“They’re not originally from Busan. Why are they here?”
“Did you forget there’s a festival being held here?”
Y/n sheepishly laughed and scratched the back of her ear.
As Arin was looking around, something caught Y/n’s eye. It’s was the big tree. And the castle was just the palace. Was there something inside of the palace? No all the room were checked. Maybe behind the palace?
She unhooked her hand from Arin as she made her way back to the palace. She walked around the perimeter of the palace and saw nothing. Just as she was going to leave, she was a pathway. Should she follow it? There was still the deep orange that lit up the sky. She’ll just have to be quick.
She made her way through the path way and finally stumbled across a castle.
So there was a castle after all.
She went closer and saw no entrance but there was a large window at the top.
She thought of many ways to get in but it wasn’t working out.
Maybe she should leave?
“Wait, don’t leave me please.” A male voiced called out.
She turned her head so fast nearly getting whiplash.
“Up here”
She looked up towards the large window.
Her eyes widened.
“Prince Jimin?!?”
He let out a chuckle.
“Yes it is I.”
“Why are you here? Your parents are looking for you. The whole nation is looking for you.”
He gave a sad smile.
“I’m stuck here. I’m bounded to this castle. Its invisible to everyone but the person that finds the book, can only find this place. And by the looks of it, you have the book?”
“Uh y-yes. So how do we get you out, Your Highness”
He smiled at how cute that was.
“You must burn the book. And bring the ashes to this castle again. This will break the curse.”
That’s it? You’d think it’d be much grander if the Prince had been trapped successfully for six straight years.
She nodded anyways and decided to pop the long awaited question “Prince if you don’t mind me asking, how did you get stuck here?”
“A witch was betrayed by an uncle of mine and to punish him, she was going to trap his only son in the very castle. However I was there at the wrong time and wrong place. And I was bonded here instead of him. She only knew afterwards when everyone was going crazy when I went missing. She didn’t lift it as she lost the book. So I’ve been here since.”
“Did she punish your uncle?”
“Yes, from what I heard from her, she paralyzed him which costed him his role as Sargent.”
“Oh. . . Well how were you able to survive the past few years without human contact? And how do you get food?”
“As much as I would love to answer your questions, it’s almost getting dark and I don’t want you to get lost in the forest. You should head back”
“Oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize. I’ll be back first thing tomorrow and you’ll be free again!”
He chuckled at her enthusiasm.
“Okay I’ll be looking forward to it”
“Bye Prince Jimin”
“Fare well uh. . .-“
“Y/n”
“Beautiful name for a beautiful girl”
“Thank you your highness” she blushed
. . .
“Yah where were you?” Arin yelled out as she dragged her toward the boys
“Oh hey Y/n” Jihoon said.
She waved back with a soft smile.
“Why do you look so nervous?” said Jeonghan as he bit into the churro.
“Oh I’m not feeling well. I think I’ll head back. Arin and you boys have fun. I’ll join you guys tomorrow at the festival” Y/n said she walked towards the parking lot.
“Oh and make sure to drop Arin back safely or else I will make life hell for you.”
They all laugh as they waved her bye.
Prince Jimin was here all along? He was stuck in a place so close yet far. No one talked to him in so long. He must’ve been so happy. She just hopes after he is released, he’ll find that happiness that was stripped away. And his family will get that closure.
. . .
8:36 am
She jumped up from bed and searched in her duffle bag. There was the book in all its glory. She quickly stuffed it in her satchel along with some matches and started to make her way to the old palace.
She needed to be quick so the civilians don’t overwhelm Prince Jimin.
She was back on the familiar path and made her way up to the castle. This was tiresome. She failed to remember what a workout this was because of the adrenaline.
The castle came into view and she called out for the Prince.
“Your Highness? Are you sleeping?”
Jimin jumped up from his sleep. She was actually here? To save him? After all these years?
“Yeah darling I’m here” he said as popped up next the window.
She blushed as she took out the book and matches. But then she noticed it was soft baby pink color. She opened it and it read
To the one that saved
There is treasure to be claimed
The sweet and kindness of you
Will be remembered forever June
Y/n
Dear you hold a place
Where others will never trace
May you live with the happiness
And the wait is over for His Highness
?
It’s like a the ending of a movie where the hero finally saves the princess after all the mini bosses and the big final boss. It was essentially a monologue, and it was kinda cute.
“What does it say dear?” Jimin said as he leaned again the window, palms holding up his face.
“Nothing too important Your Highness. What is important is that you finally can get out. Now do you have everything?”
“Mmh I don’t wish to take anything. I don’t wish to remember this place.”
“Alright brace yourself Prince”
With that being said, she lit the match and set the book aflame. The book quickly disappeared and was left to ashes. The wind was still and the birds stopped chirping.
Suddenly a rumble roared from the castle and a poof of smoke appeared, causing Y/n to cough. It was over as it came. And soon Prince Jimin was in front of her. His beautiful crescent eyes peered into hers, taking in the beauty the stood before him. She quickly looked aways and gave him a formal bow.
“Welcome back, Your Highness”
He chuckled and patted her head
“Thank you dear for helping me.”
“It’s my pleasure my Prince”
She gently grabbed his hand and led him down to the trail.
“We should get going. The grand palace is quite far. We’ll get there before noon if we get going.”
He softly smiled and let her drag him down the trail. They reached the car and she helped him in.
She made her way to Jimin’s home. Jimin continuously asked questions about everything and anything that happened in those six years. She answered with the best of her ability. It was be a short two hour drive from the main city to the rural area where the palace stood. Jimin’s excitement that bubbled within now overflowing. He was going to see his family.
. . .
They finally pulled up near the castle. The guard tapped the window. “Name and purpose.”
“Uh I found Prince Jimin and my name is y-“
“You what?!?”
She slightly moved so the guard could get a better view of Jimin in the passenger side.
“My apologies, agassi. Do follow me with His Highness”
She nodded as she parked and walked over to Jimin side. Y/n opened his door and let a soft chuckle.
“Oh you’re spoiling me”
She laughed as they both followed the guards. They made it to the main hall. She could hear cheers and excitement radiating. There was the His Majesty, the King and Her Majesty, the Queen and The Kings and Queens of Daegu, Gwangju, Ilsan, and Gwacheon. They must’ve been discussing something important before they were aware of Jimin.
“Jimin!”
“Hyung!”
His parents and little brother came and hugged him. Then the other princes came in and hugged him too. It was beautiful but Y/n couldn’t help but feel like she was intruding. Maybe she should leave? Yeah that’s a good idea. While everyone was occupied with Jimin’s arrival, she made her way back out. She reached her car and soon drove off.
This was the right thing to do. Her job was only to help the Prince home. She really didn’t need a thanks. That’s her job to help her country find the Prince. She could feel the royalty oozing from the family. She didn’t belong there. Y/n was only a simple girl.
. . .
“We’re glad to finally have you back.” The Queen said as she wiped her never ending tears.
“The guards mentioned a girl saved you?” Jungkook enquired.
“Yeah this is Y/n, Y/n this is my fami-“
Huh
“Y/n? Where did she go?”
The head guard stepped forward “it’s seems as though agassi left.”
Jimin’s eyes widened. “What! How could you let her leave?”
“Yes, Hyunseok, that is very dishonorable letting a important person like her to leave like that she saved out Jimin and we didn’t even get to greet her properly.” The King said as looked the guard in disbelief.
“I apologize. I was very excited to see the return of Young Master, I didn’t realize that she left until she was actually gone.” He said with a bow and a hand over the heart.
“Well we have to find her and thank her properly.” The Queen said.
“Your majesty, I found this letter at the front steps.” Another guard said as he ran in.
To the dear Prince of Busan,
You’re finally home and I’m happy to have seen you reunite with your family. I don’t live in Busan anymore so I need to get back to my apartment in the bustling city. I apologize for leaving abruptly but it felt as though I was intruding. I hope you don’t mind me leaving. I wish for your well being and a prosperous life as you will soon rule as king. Until then, may you find your happiness.
Sincerely,
Y/n
How could she leave like that? Before he was trapped up the castle, women would line up just to see his face and the one woman that peeked his interest, just leaves after saving him? Without anything to help him get back to her?
no no no
Jimin smirked. Oh was he going to have fun. He was going to make sure to find cute little Y/n and make sure he thanks her properly. She saved the Prince himself, and so she will only get the best.
Wait for him,
Little Miss Hero.
