So as a fun personal project for an ongoing Lupin rp I have with my buddy, I thought for a fun arc, take some of my fav kids from Lupin movies, make them older teens that have their own gang of thieves. This was my vision for them.
Julia's the head of the gang and the person who formed it in the first place, Sergio and her have been in contact since she was a kid and was able to track him down and get ahold of him using her dad's money and a tip off Lupin gave her after he bought the kid a new canoe. They have a brother-sister bond since I remembered Sergio saying Julia reminded him of his kid sister that got killed, he's like the big protector of the group, too.
Maki and Julia are the same age as each other, and so are Michael and Sergio. (Maki and Julia are 16, Michael and Sergio are 18)
Julia uses her dad's money without him knowing to fund training her thief gang and whatever money they make stealing stuff to fund their actual heists. She does it for the challenge of it all, they all do.
I'm so glad I've gotten requests for my versions of the Lupin gang from The Curtain Falls, what an absolute honour!
These requests are available for $10 patrons and $10 kofi commissions
On this day four years ago, William Dufris died of esophageal cancer at the age of 62. Although he was American, Dufris worked prominently in the British voiceover industry.
Purely for people who watched “Lupin III: Bye, Bye Lady Liberty!”, spoilers ahead, because I need answers.
When Isabel is dying, at least in the English dub is she implying Goemon saved her before or that he is Michael’s father? I am extremely confused, or was her whole point “I am dying, I must confuse the everliving sense out of this poor innocent man who guarded me for so long”, because it sure confused me
a little bit of Audacity work regarding Goemon Ishikawa’s catchphrase, with almost every single instance of him saying the line in English as well as equivalents to it found in the dubs.
