Even more exceptionally silly poetry! I've celebrated the incredible Amon D'Syrcus of @spotofmummery before (and doubtless will do so again), but this time I thought we ought to give the limelight to the other star of that inestimable household - Cadu the Serpent!

Always ready to slither into your DMs, or at least your Asks, Cadu is a scaley source of support and succor for many. Not least for Amon, who he dutifully follows around, no matter how dramatic or perturbing the situation.

I have nothing but respect and affection for @spotofmummery - certainly one of the most well-known FFXIV blogs (also to be found in a number of other, increasingly unlikely, settings, from Pillowfort to Plastic Duck Simulator) and definitely one of the best. You're almost certainly already following this blog, but if you're not then now is the time to start!

I Hədisçilərin atdığı başqa iftira da budur ki, guya Peyğəmbərimizə (s) cadu edilmişdi, bir neçə gün nə etdiyini bilməyib, bəzi işləri etmiş kimi hiss edib və s. Uydurma hədislərdə bu cadu hadisəsi belə keçir: “Hüdeybiyyə sülh sazişindən sonra Rəsulullah (s) Mədinəyə döndü. Hicrətin 7-ci ilində Heybər yəhudilərinə Mədinədən bir heyət getdi. Orada məşhur sehrbaz, cadugər Lübeyd ibn Asim ilə görüşdülər. Heyət Lübeydə belə müraciət etdi: “Bilirsən, Məhəmməd bizə nə edib? Bir neçə dəfə ona cadu etmək istədik, amma alınmadı. İndi də sənin yanına gəlmişik. Çünki sən bizdən daha böyük sehrbaz və cadügərsən. Bu üç qızılı götür və Məhəmmədi güclü ovsunla”. O dövrdə Rəsulullaha (s) bir yəhudi uşağı xidmət edirdi. Onlar bu uşaq vasitəsilə Rəsulullahın (s) darağını və saç tellərini ələ keçirdilər. Lübeyd də bu saç və daraqdan istifadə edərək Rəsulullaha (s) cadu etdi. Sonra bu cadunu xurmadan düzəldilmiş bir qılıfın içinə yerləşdirdilər. Lübeyd bu sehri bir quyunun içindəki daşın altında gizlətdi. Bir müddət sonra Rəsulullah (s) səhhətində bəzi narahatlıqlar hiss etməyə başladı. Etmədiyi bəzi işləri etmiş kimi, bəzi işləri də etdiyi halda etməmiş kimi xatırlamağa başladı”. Hədisi oxuyan adam o dəqiqə anlayar ki, bu hədis saxtadır və uydurulmuşdur. Quran ayələri də bunu təsdiqləyir. (Sən Quran oxuyarkən) onların hansı məqsədlə ona qulaq asdıqlarını və o zalımların öz aralarında fısıldaşaraq: “Siz yalnız ovsunlanmış bir adamın arxasınca gedirsiniz!” - dediklərini Biz çox yaxşı bilirik. Sənin üçün necə misallar çəkdiklərinə bir bax! Buna görə də onlar zəlalətə düşdülər və (haqq) yolu tapa bilməzlər. So I had something very special in the mail!

Many thanks to @spotofmummery for the lovely Cadu sticker. I haven’t decided on where Cadu should be affixed as yet, so he’s hanging out with Spencer the Jubilee Bear for now.

I was so excited when it arrived - it’s the first thing to come in the mail that’s not actually a bill for quite a while!
