My most recent Drabble, “A Long Forgotten Past,” was loosely based on a few loved ones’ experiences of drinking the toxic water at Camp Lejeune. I didn’t want it to be too obvious so I changed some aspects.
If you have loved ones who are sick from the water there, I know what you’re going through. It hurts. My dad is sick and he will not be getting better. His friends are sick and they will not be getting better. I’m devastated. If you need a buddy, feel free to reach out.
I wrote a poem to express myself on this topic:
“Long Forgot”
We were forgot’n
But now we fight
For what is good
For what is right
For all who’ve fought
This awful plight
Do not forget
We’re not alright
We will not go
You cannot force
You had our trust
But were the source
Now we suffer
And follow course
You must repent
For this Trojan Horse
This will be
My last of three
For I am sick
And tired, see?
All I ask
My final plea
Do not forget
We don’t die free

Fixed indoor male, 5 months old, friendly, named Purcy.
We've already contacted the shelter, pawboost, petcolove and other avenues to help find him.
Went missing around Holiday City MHC on 11/16/2022.
He has two distinct features, aside from color and pattern.
Purcy has/had Swimmer Syndrome, this can still be seen due to the splayed nature of his hind legs and clumsiness.
His nose has a very rounded bridge which can be seen in profile.

Fixed up More of My "Studio"
So much of my "studio!" I covered most of the window in my living area, pray it keeps the flies out of this area, and it's not completely opaque but translucent, deep silver more dark and maybe like black or grayish black rather.
So, yea, and, like, under my L desk, the foot shelves are cleared but have my Lejeune papers to sign hopefully Thursday and my mail meal kit directions.
In the process, putting up the window coverings. I got the chords on the floor condensed to a smaller organized area and things like Tik Tok lights. I have to get rid of like over 10 returns mostly in package, like papery plastic. I need to chat still about $60 that seems not to have been processed for good overall for my laundry, want 1 $30 back, as it was also bought when the last didn't seem to process / go thru. I think I have 4 loads of clothes I don't use much and a few towels and things.
