Rick's lips turned white with anger. He stood up with a sudden jerk.

Michonne seemed to suspect what he was up to. "You need to go get Denise right away, Rick," she admonished, "Y/N needs a doctor." She dabbed blood from your injured lip.

Sooo back at the end of January and beginning of February, I was suppose to adopt a cat and I couldn't cause the shelter discovered she was pregnant.

TL;DR I think I'm still destined to adopt this cat.

For awhile, I've talked with my mom about getting a new cat. My cat I have now is rather anti-social and is a spirit cat. She's formed a bond with me and absolutely nobody else. So naturally I feel it's time to get her a feline friend. My cat is probably very lonely when the family goes away on vacation since we kennel the dog and leave her by herself. Yes, the neighbor comes in every other day, but for all the years she's watched over Galaxy-Kitty, she's never been able to pet or see the cat.

So moving on, I finally decided that as much fun as a kitten would be, I didn't want to put in the work. So I decided to do like how I did with Galaxy and adopt a year old cat. My family is a very big Disney family, and my mom wanted a Disney name. Since my dog is named after Star Wars, I figured we'd continue the space theme, but I like the idea of a Disney themed cat. So looking on the shelter, I find a female cat named Nala. She was in foster care perfectly healthy and a year old. So I talked things over with my mom and we decided to try welcoming Nala to the family. The cat is suppose to be really social and not at all spirit. So I started the application process and, I passed the interview and was ready to adopt Nala.

Just to be clear, all this happened at the end of January beginning of February. The shelter called and we set up a day to pick up the cat a day after she was suppose to get spayed. Welp then the unthinkable happened. The shelter called on Thursday and they discovered through blood and urine test that the cat was evidently very pregnant! Not gonna lie, I was truly disappointed because I was excited to meet Nala. Now the cat has to stay in foster and deliver her babies and stay with them until they're old enough to be adopted out.

The shelter had apologized, and I think they were baffled about the pregnancy discovery as well. They were nice and told me that I could pick out another cat, or they could hang on to Nala for me. So I told them to hang on to Nala while I secretly looked at other cats. Unfortunately, no other cat had been calling out to me like Nala. Her description said she was a social butterfly, and I instantly knew I wanted this cat.

So today, on March 16, I finally called the shelter to check on Nala. She had 5 kittens, and all went according to plan. The crazy part is that she had her kittens on my birthday, February 23rd! I think I'm still destined to adopt Nala. The planets and the stars just keep aligning.
