Earlier I made a post about my dr best friends, and my appreciation for them, so I wanted to make another dedicated to my built-in best friends throughout all my desired realities. Firstly, I want to give a special thank you to my sister, Bonnie for being the best older sister she can be at all times even though she's extremely overprotective when it comes to Damon and I. Then one to Yui Komori, because I definitely would not be able to survive Diabolik Lovers without her, and another to Sarah Fox who may not technically be my sister, but she's close enough. A well overdue thanks to my other older sister, P.B. or Princess Bubblegum who is one of the reasons my kingdom isn't in ruins. There's genuinely no way I can make individual thank you's to my marauders dr siblings, so I'll just list their names, Morticia, Meilani, Mazikeen, Minetta, Kamira, Blaze, Karma, Katerina, Astrid, Anastasia, Amaryllis, and Arcadia Zabini. Blaze Zabini in my golden trio era he's my twin and I love him. Then my twin brother, Aiden in my South Park dr. Lastly to my step-sister, Bella Swan and our sisters, Charlene and Christie.

I took my Chiropractor’s suggestion…
… and signed up for getting a massage.
Sadly, she mentioned that I needed a little extra “ummffppph” and I needed Charlene. Charlene is booked solid until September 27th.
I’m afraid of Charlene. I hear she’s been doing this for many years and has hands like bricks. I’m going to be broken down, so I can be rebuilt. Sadly, I’m probably going to pay a lot for this muffler.

In other news, we saw a Fox 🦊 roaming along the train tracks behind us this evening. I’ve only seen them from afar in my travels. Kinda like that family of beavers I saw in PA once.
The Prairie Dogs were squawking an awful lot and I walked out there to see a fox looking back at me, sadly, no phone on me to snap a pic.

The Luminaries
A set of characters who don’t represent zodiacs and take inspiration from the non-zodiac constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU).
Kentavrinov
A spontaneous and overconfident entaur-like Stellinia who represents Centaurus. Kentavrinov is skilled at wielding a bow and arrow that he uses to win archery competitions. On Earth, he became a well-respected archery teacher.

A gloomy and shy fungus witch who represents Crux. Amanita is also the leader of her own school fitness club. Despite her positive status in her school, there are a few friends in her friend group who would be more than welcome to stab her in the back.

An immaculate and mouthy pegasus-like Stellinia who represents Pegasus. It’s almost as if she gives off a surrealistic, dreamy vibe whenever she brings out her magic staff. During a visit to Earth, Bihashi learned about the allure of tarot cards and used her magic to enchant them.
Charlene Blackspine
A sane and insecure anthropomorphic Asian common toad who represents Corvus. Charlene has to constantly deal with the ghostly things that happen in the woods at night near her forest home. In the forest, she has no choice but to run errands for a powerful demon there.
Diana Ephemeral
A blissful and prudent imp who represents Lupus. Diana is known to be a famous stage magician throughout Subluna. She has proven to be unshakably loyal to her loved ones, including her human lover, Cohen Neidhardt.
Roxana
A wholehearted and silly human who represents Tucana. During the summer, Roxana runs a canoe and kayak store at Cockahoopa Beach. What people find tiresome is her tendency to be a blabbermouth, a trait that her boyfriend, Kaito, doesn't seem to mind.
Kraduuknu
A straightforward and doubtless Stellinia who represents Carina. Kraduuknu's role in Ruavela’s crew is to act as her main bodyguard. She has the ability to project an aura of fire.
Dotty
A graceless and kindly anthropomorphic giraffe who represents Camelopardalis. Dotty happens to be best friends with Queen Loxodonta. What's interesting is that she was adopted and raised by camels, which explains her occasional insecurities.
Aaron Reredos
A high-minded and saintly witch who represents Ara. Aaron is considered a good friend to both the Gravitors and the Tanikas and is known for his faith magic. He also has the ability to settle any kind of feud that may arise between the two families.
Ramona Barnett
An inoffensive and unashamed human who represents Andromeda. Ramona is the daughter of the wealthy Burgundy and Eric Barnett. She is willing to put herself in trouble for the sake of resolving conflict, but only when her parents suggest she do so.
Muhrim
A sunny and judicious horse-like Stellinia who represents Equuleus. Muhrim is currently learning magic under the tutelage of Bihashi. He has the ability to utilize practices that are benefic in nature.

A shady and psychotic anthropomorphic red fox who represents Canis Minor. She would hide from the authorities by posing as a circus ringmaster.
Dar
A well-adjusted and cordial dolphin-tailed mermaid who represents Delphinus. Dar is known to be a master of pearl magic. She enjoys chatting and hanging out with the people who live on the surface nearby her home.
Missy
An unimaginative and surly human who represents Aquila. Missy was the former assistant to Mayor Mendoza of Baleagviq until Mizuro temporarily replaced her. During that time, she couldn't help but let jealousy get the best of her.
Aldaroon
A finicky and dignified hydra-like Stellinia who represents Hydra. After hearing that a Daemura has been spotted on Earth, Aldaroon decided to go to Earth and hunt it down. He has the ability to project an aura of psychic energy.

A jittery and pushy anthropomorphic black and rufous elephant shrew who represents Circinus. As a member of Dick Forepaw’s robotics club, Gambol likes to think that he is the leader, even though he’s not. He wouldn't make a good leader anyway because he is known to achieve very few of his goals.
Zoantho
A lordly and suave swordfish-tailed merman who represents Dorado. Zoantho is Dar’s best friend and specializes in coral magic. He and Dar often have magic battles that usually end with him losing.
Liam Floros
A methodical and resolute human who represents Canes Venatici. Liam often helps out his mother, Penelope, with gardening work. Sometimes, he is accompanied by his best friend, Alice Eichel.

‘More Crafty Than Crazy:’ Serial Killers Sometimes Invent Alter Egos Like Golden State Killer’s ‘Jerry,' Expert Says
Sacramento County Prosecutor Thien Ho noted Joseph DeAngelo blamed an alter ego named "Jerry" for the murders he pleaded guilty to committing.

As prosecutors detailed the now-admitted Golden State Killer’s many crimes during a day-long hearing on Monday, one official noted that the serial killer contended that an alter ego named “Jerry” was what drove him to kill.
Joseph DeAngelo, 74, pleaded guilty to 26 murder, rape, and kidnapping charges on Monday. He also admitted to 62 uncharged offenses that he can no longer be prosecuted for due to the statute of limitations. The former police officer's crimes — which spanned across decades and multiple jurisdictions in California — went undetected for years until renewed attention was put on the case and genetic genealogy pointed to DeAngelo as the culprit.
Sacramento County Prosecutor Thien Ho noted in the courtroom (actually a Sacramento State University ballroom transformed into an ad-hoc courtroom due to both accommodation issues and coronavirus concerns) that when DeAngelo was arrested, he immediately blamed his crimes on a voice in his head.
“I did all that,” DeAngelo muttered to himself while alone in a police interrogation room, according to Ho's recounting on Monday. “I didn’t have the strength to push him out. He made me. He went with me. It was like in my head, I mean, he’s a part of me. I didn’t want to do those things. I pushed Jerry out and had a happy life.”
Authorities said DeAngelo killed 13 and raped nearly 50 people between 1975 and 1986 before abruptly stopping his murder spree. He then proceeded to live a seemingly normal life with a wife and children in Citrus Heights as his crimes went unsolved.
While DeAngelo initially uttered a seeming confession about an alter ego, he did not cooperate with authorities, and Ho hinted Monday that he believed DeAngelo was just faking the alter ego. Ho brought it up along with accusations that DeAngelo has been feigning poor health since his capture.
DeAngelo's demeanor Monday and voice appeared dramatically weak and confused. The prosecutor also noted that DeAngelo was spotted by investigators vigorously working in his yard before he was taken into custody "yet, sitting in the interview room he feigned feeble incoherence." Ho said DeAngelo pretended to suffer a heart attack and acted “crazy to avoid getting in trouble” after getting caught in 1979 for shoplifting dog repellent and a hammer.
Jennifer Carole, whose father, Lyman Smith, and stepmother, Charlene Smith, were bludgeoned to death by DeAngelo in 1980, told Oxygen.com on Tuesday that she doesn’t buy DeAngelo's "Jerry" defense either.
“It’s just hard for me to believe in this ‘Jerry’ thing,” she said. “It’s too convenient. If your alter comes forward, it’s usually not the minute you’re in jail. Your alter comes forward in other ways and I think his family would have seen it. “
James Alan Fox, a criminologist at Northeastern University and author of “Extreme Killing: Understanding Serial and Mass Murder,” agreed. He told Oxygen.com on Tuesday that if DeAngelo’s inner voice claim was genuine, other people who knew him over the years would have taken notice.
“It’s rare for serial killers to hear voices or have multiple personalities and the ones that do are usually caught fairly easily because of the level of confusion,” Fox said, adding that such an affliction would usually be part of a larger mental illness like schizophrenia. “The ones that stay at large for long periods of time have the ability and the cunning and the clarity of thought to carry out murders and cover them up so as to not be apprehended.”
Even though DeAngelo initially blamed a voice in his head, his attorneys did not pursue an insanity defense. But many other serial killers' defense teams have gone down that path.
Fox noted that DeAngelo would hardly be the first serial killer to pretend he heard voices. He pointed to “The Hillside Strangler” Kenneth Bianchi, who went on a killing spree with his cousin in California in the late 1970s.
Bianchi later claimed that an alter ego named "Steve Walker" was the force within him making him kill, according to “Introduction to Forensic Psychology: Research and Application.” A psychiatrist was able to determine that Bianchi fabricated the alter ego, along with other personalities.
“He tried faking having multiple personalities so that Kenneth Bianchi could be this nice guy everyone knew and then this other personality Steve Walker would be the one doing the killing,” Fox said.
Infamous killer Ted Bundy also claimed that there was an "entity" within him that drove him to kill. David Berkowitz, the “Son of Sam,” initially blamed his 1976 New York City killing spree on messages sent to him by his neighbor Sam’s demon-possessed dog.
Berkowitz later admitted that he faked the explanation, but the legend lived on. Despite the fact that many of these killers' stories have been debunked, the trope of serial killers hearing homicidal voices and possessing alter egos persists — think "Dexter's" so-called "Dark Passenger." Fox said that’s likely why killers like DeAngelo continue to cling to the defense.
“They’re more crafty than crazy, more bad than mad,” he said.
As for DeAngelo’s “Jerry,” Fox told Oxygen.com, “I am very skeptical of this. […] I think in situations like this, you have to consider what advantage there might be for a perpetrator to make such a claim.”
In exchange for Monday's guilty plea, DeAngelo dodged a potential death sentence and a lengthy trial. Instead, he will serve 15 consecutive life sentences.
DeAngelo worked as a police officer in the mid-to-late 1970s in the California towns of Exeter and Auburn. It’s long been suspected that his job helped him learn how to stay off the radar. He even apparently committed crimes while on the clock — attacking couples in between writing up arrest reports, CBS 13 in Sacramento reported in January.
While working for the Exeter Police Department in 1976, he was even promoted to sergeant and put in charge of their burglary program, ABC 10 in Sacramento reported.

Neighbors of Charlotte Sena describe tactical raid to rescue 9-year-old from predator’s camper
Milton, New York – A couple of idling cop cars seemed somewhat out of place at the mouth of a street leading to a cul-de-sac in upstate New York, a few hours before law enforcement swarmed their neighborhood, residents said.
It was shortly before 6 p.m. Monday when Charlene and her oldest daughter Briella, 11, noticed the police activity about 200 yards to the right of their home.
At that point, they didn't know that abducted 9-year-old Charlotte Sena was allegedly being held against her will by Craig Ross Jr. five minutes away in the other direction.
As time passed, they saw an ambulance. Then a chopper circle overhead. Then a convoy of law enforcement vehicles, including from state police and the FBI, rolled through their neighborhood and stopped on the street near their home.

"Then you just knew," Charlene told Fox News Digital Monday night. "They found Charlotte."
The little girl had been missing since Saturday, when Ross Jr. allegedly abducted her from Moreau Lake State Park – a popular, 4,600-acre camping site nestled between Lake George and Saratoga Springs – where she was staying with her family.

Law enforcement in full tactical gear blasted through a camper behind Ross Jr.'s mother's double-wide trailer and found Charlotte in a cabinet, Gov. Kathy Hochul said during a press conference Monday night.
"They had what they call a dynamic entry, a tactical maneuver, and within the camper they located the suspect. After some resistance, the suspect was taken into custody, and immediately the little girl was found in a cabinet, covered. She was rescued," Hochul said.
"And she knew she was being rescued. And she knew that she was in safe hands."

No details about Sena's condition were released, but the governor said there doesn't appear to be "outward harm," and state police said he's "in good health."
The young girl is recovering and being evaluated in a hospital.
Her aunt, Jene Sena, told Fox News Digital in a text, "We are just elated she came home."

Sense of safety is robbed from a community
Charlotte's missing persons case seized the region like a bear in a trap, and robbed some families in the community of their sense of safety.
Charlene stopped letting her oldest daughter ride her bike or take the bus since news broke of the abduction, and has been scared to let her two younger daughters play outside their own home.

"When I found out how close it was to me, it really hit home," Charlene said. "My oldest is 11 and my youngest is five, and they ride through this part all the time.
"Now it makes me more suspicious of everybody, because you're going on a bike ride and you're that close to your family, and you're just gone in an instant."

Charlene was referring to Charlotte, who had been riding her bike close to her family's campsite when she was snatched on "Loop A," which is easily accessible from Old Saratoga Road.
Only a rusted, brittle fence about chest high that can easily be stomped on separates the park from that section of the campsite.

Charlene said she hasn't seen the suspect in person, but the thought of him living under her family's nose for years is terrifying.
"If he's a predator, it's a hunting ground for him. He could've been riding around this part when my kids were out," she said.

Safety and this type of alleged, brazen crime isn't usually a concern for the typically serene setting near the Hudson River, residents near the state park told Fox News Digital.
Around the corner from the alleged abduction site, Phil and Gail have lived with their dogs in a beautiful home and take advantage of the scenery.
Gail likes to go for walks along the lake, and Phil likes to fish. "Nothing like this has ever happened. It's very quiet," Phil said as a large group of rescue searchers walked by their home.
"It's scary now," Phil said. "The whole world is going to hell."

There was nowhere in the area to escape the crime. Seemingly everyone for miles knew about the case and were on edge.
Missing flyer posters were plastered all over gas stations, stores and food establishments, while dozens of digital signs about an amber alert lined several major highways between New York City and Saratoga County, which is about 45 miles north of Albany.
By Monday afternoon, the search effort swelled from 100 to 400 people. Searchers told Fox News Digital Monday afternoon that the park's terrain vastly varies, including steep elevations and brush so dense they had to split the shrubbery with every step.
At least a half dozen checkpoints were set up all around the park, where New York State troopers stopped every vehicle, checked trunks and asked for information.

This case hit Briella, who's only two years older than Charlotte and has a sister who's one year young than her, particularly hard.
"I was only thinking about (Charlotte)," she said. "Through school, that's all I was thinking about. I couldn't get anything on top of my mind. I was just praying and hoping she was OK, because she's just a little girl."

At her young age, if she was in Charlotte's position, Briella said all she would be able to think about is, "Is anyone looking for me? Am I ever going to get back home?"
Charlene taught her girls to be safety conscious, even before Charlotte's case rocked the area, and uses safety code words that only her mom and her girls know.

Done in by his own ransom note
Ross Jr. allegedly left a ransom note in the Sena family's mailbox around 4:20 a.m. Monday, Hochul said.
Police traced the fingerprints on the note to Ross Jr.'s 1999 DWI arrest in Saratoga County, and identified him as the suspect within 10 hours, according to the governor.

Ich werde über ihr Angebot nachdenken, Mister Fox.“ Charlene triumphierte und hob ihr halbvolles Glas um mit ihm anzustoßen bevor sie den Rest ihres Cocktails trank und sich danach rasch in der spiegelnden Vitrine hinter dem Tresen versicherte, dass ihr Lippenstift noch immer an Ort und Stelle verweilte. „Bestens. Lassen Sie von sich hören sobald Sie eine Entscheidung getroffen haben, meine Karte haben Sie ja.“ sagte er, höflich lächelnd, um kramte ein paar Scheine aus seinem Portemonnaie um die Getränke zu bezahle. „Sind Sie eigentlich single? Wissen Sie, in der Karibik kann es ganz alleine ziemlich einsam sein.“ Ihr Tonfall war jetzt leiser, man hörte den Alkohol in ihrer Stimme, auch wenn sie es unter dem Deckmantel eines Flirts zu verstecken versuchte. „Nun, wie gesagt, meine Karte haben Sie ja.“ antwortete er, um einiges gefestigter und mit einem Zwinkern was die Blondine zum Blinzeln brachte und so ließ er sie zurück, stand auf, nahm sich seinen Mantel von der Stuhllehne und verließ die Bar mit langen Schritten.
Es war kühl für diese Jahreszeit, nichts über das er sich beklagen würde, auch wenn sich seine Gedanken gewiss über ein paar Sonnenstrahlen freuen würden, um all den dunklen Träumen entgegen zu wirken, die ihn seit Wochen heimsuchten. Vom Schlaf bekam er nie genug, in letzter Zeit weniger denn je und auch jetzt, obwohl es bereits spät am Abend war, würde er nicht in sein Appartement zurück kehren denn der Arbeitsalltag war noch nicht vorüber. So überquerte er die gut belebte Straße, vorbei an Restaurants und Kneipen bis zu einem Parkplatz wo sein geliebtes Auto stand. Ein dunkelblauer Mercedes w108, glänzend und in bestem Zustand. Zwar hatte er weder seine Collage Freundin geheiratet, noch ein Haus gekauft, aber den Midlife Krise Wagen hatte er trotzdem und das obwohl er gerade mal dreißig war. Sanft, wie die Brise die das Laub aufscheuchte, ließ er seine langen Finger über das Lenkrad gleiten sobald er eingestiegen war und lehnte sich kurz zurück um tief durchzuatmen. Vielleicht noch ein, zwei Stunden, dann könnte er seinen Kopf zwischen weichen Kissen versenken und die braunen Augen schließen um mit Glück einem traumlosen, erholsamen Schlaf entgegen zu treten.
Zwanzig Minuten später hatte er das Gewerbegebiet der Stadt erreicht und verließ den Wagen um zwischen zwei langen Gassen ein offen stehendes Tor zu betreten. Gideon erwartete ihn bereits, an eine auseinander genommene Karosserie gelehnt, den wachsamen Blick prüfend auf ihn gerichtet. „Lief’s gut?“ – „Würde ich behaupten.“ antwortete er bereits auf halber Strecke ehe er vor Gideon zum stehen kam und einen Zettel aus seiner Manteltasche zog. „Sieben Zimmer, abgeschieden, nicht viel Nachbarschaft. Pool, riesen Keller und Dachboden. Mehr als genug Stauraum. Man wird weder gehört, noch gesehen. Erst vor zwei Jahren renoviert. Willst du’s haben?“ Er überreichte den Zettel, auf dem alles was er gesagt hatte nochmals detaillierter aufgeführt war und Gideon studierte die Anmerkungen mit einem zufriedenen Nicken. „Klingt gut, ich..“
Den Rest von Gideons Worten, hörte Fintan nicht mehr. Es fühlte sich an, als würde jemand durch seine Schädeldecke hindurch direkt in sein Hirn greifen und fest zu drücken, ein lähmendes Gefühl, das mit Blindheit einherging und ihm ein Keuchen entlockte. Vor schwarzem Grund tänzelten Bruchstücke eines Bildes, Fetzen von Dingen die sich unmöglich zusammen fügen ließen, ungeordnet und wirr, Blut, hell und sauber, eine Waffe, ein lauter Knall, und Schmerz, er war überall. Genauso rasch, wie die Bilder in seinen Kopf gelangt waren, verschwanden sie wieder.
„Fin!“ Gideon hatte ihm fest gegen den Oberarm geschlagen und als er den Mann wieder deutlich erkennen konnte, wirkte dieser verwirrt, nahezu verunsichert, was so gar nicht zu jemandem passen wollte, der sein Geld mit Waffen, Drogen und Menschenhandel verdiente. „Alles klar, man? Hast du Migräne oder so ein Scheiß?“ Langsam löste Fintan seine Finger, die sich in seinem dunklen Haar zu beiden Seiten seines Kopfes verkrampft hatten und nickte zögerlich. „Jah.. wahrscheinlich. Irgendwie sowas.“ murmelte er, auch wenn er wusste das das Blödsinn war. Das war keine Migräne, was er eben erlebt hatte, war nichts anderes als der Albtraum, der ihn seit Wochen verfolgte. Der Unterschied war nur, das er dieses Mal nicht geschlafen hatte und das er sich aus irgendeinem Grund absolut sicher war, das er noch in dieser Nacht sterben würde.
