Love, Hygiene, Beauty and Body Waste
June 12 2020 Friday
"When the body was first created, all the parts wanted to be Boss. The brain said, "I should be Boss because I control all of the body's responses and functions."
The feet said, "We should be Boss since we carry the brain about and get him to where he wants to go."
The hands said, "We should be the Boss because we do all the work and earn all the money."
Finally, the asshole spoke up. All the parts laughed at the idea of the asshole being the Boss. So, the asshole went on strike, blocked itself up and refused to work.
Within a short time, the eyes became crossed, the hands clenched, the feet twitched, the heart and lungs began to panic, and the brain fevered. Eventually, they all decided that the asshole should be the Boss, so the motion was passed. All the other parts did all the work while the Boss just sat and passed out the shit!
Moral Of The Story: You don't need a brain to be a Boss----any asshole will do."
This is a very old joke and I found it really funny because eventually we all aspire to become the Boss! But that's not why I chose this joke. It's about the asshole or the anus, which is the more appropriate word. We all know how important the anus is and yet it's treated very unfairly which inturn creates lots of pain for us.
Our education system and specially the understanding of what's good etiquette has clearly inculcated in us deep misconceptions about love, hygiene, beauty and body waste. Love has become cliche. Hygiene has become over-hyped. Beauty is only skin deep and Body waste repulsive. As a result our priorities have been jeopardized. The advertising world also has a big role to play in spreading this misinformation.
Toilets in our school in Darjeeling were awful. We had to excrete with utmost care because we had to negotiate with small hills of shit everytime we had to use it, which was only when it was literally unavoidable. The local fire brigade used to be called weekly to clean our common toilets. That much force was needed! When we were small I remember how my mother used to make cow dung cakes during Holi. We too used to help her out. Similarly she never had any qualms about us being covered in our own waste whenever we fell sick. Very lovingly she used to care and clean us. She believed that playing in mud makes children stronger. Jack Gilbert, a scientist, says that dirt is good for children. It builds their immune system.
Perhaps it was a result of this type of upbringing that I managed to handle myself pretty well in one awkward situation. I used to go visit an uncle of mine in the hospital where he was admitted. One day, by chance, it was just him, myself and a male nurse in the room. My uncle was in a very poor physical condition and suddenly he defecated. I asked the nurse to clean him up. But he wouldn't, giving very frivolous reasons. Instead he challenged me to do it myself if I was so concerned. Without even giving him a moment to think I took the cloth or cotton (I don't remember) and cleaned up my uncle. The guy got shocked and so did my uncle. And so did his family. But wasn't that the most human thing to do rather than make the patient feel more humiliated who is already under immense pain!
But the world today is different. Today's concept of cleanliness is different. The females discourage children to do any such activity in which they could become dirty. I know you've seen washing powder advertisements in which the slogan says, "Daag achche hain" or the kid dirtying himself trying to recover a ten rupee note for an elderly being touted as virtuous. But this is not true in reality. That kid will get thrashed by his mother if he did that!
The females today do not have it in them to allow their children to play on the streets because they will get dirty and therefore they will have to work extra hard themselves to clean their children! Because of this attitude children develop poor motor skills and are weak in many spheres of life. When small I had to literally fight to ensure that my son eats his mango with his own fingers & hands. He used to get dirty but it was a good exercise.
If human beings are taught about body waste and dirt in this manner do you expect them to care for their loved ones when they fall sick? What will happen to those people who lose their beauty in old age? Who will look after them? I believe that being repulsive to dirt & filth leads to depreciation of compassion for the old & sick. It's a vicious cycle in which we ourselves will suffer when we become old and sick.
In his book "My experiments with Truth" Mahatma Gandhi writes about how he himself used to clean his own toilet as well as that of his guests. In Japan children in the first few years of their schooling are only taught cleaning toilets and school premises. Even Gurukuls in ancient India believed in the same values.
Some body waste is good for your body. Excessive focus on hygiene leads to poor immune system of the population. Because we're made to feel repulsive against body waste this is one topic that is least discussed. The result is that we have very poor waste management systems for our houses and for our cities. Wet garbage from kitchens is useful in making organic manure. We should clean our own filth at home and manage waste properly. Involve kids in these activities at a very young age so that they develop the correct mindset.
In conclusion I want to go back to the joke I started with. Recent developments in Science have shown that all body parts have a mind (brain) of their own! And so does the asshole! So it won't be wrong 😂 to say that the Boss 😁 could even be an asshole 😀. It should be taken as a compliment.
Of late I've begun to realise that it doesn't matter who (or what) the boss is. What's important is that the Boss should have a 💓 heart. And no matter what we do love should be a common denominator. With this attitude I'm sure we'll be more clear about the meanings of LHBW - Love, Hygiene, Beauty and Body Waste.

In light of all these dumb Star Wars “X-Punk” versions I present to you my one, which is objectively the best one: Star Wars but set in the Stone Age. Or STUG WAAGS as I like to call it.
You may wonder why it’s not called “Stone Wars” or something stupid like that and that’s because Cavemen wouldn’t call it Stone Wars because English wasn’t invented yet stupid, along with Stars.

But they must storm Imp Tribe’s being fort, DEAD ROCK and confront big bad wizard man DAAG VAAR and army of STORGMEN. - a poem.
i’m not the religious type
but i see god everyday
whether she is creating, growing or raising
see, i see god as nature
birch tree afro, skin dark as the soil that blossoms sunflowers and the fruits of her labor sweeter than her gift of life
and life ain’t shit without she
she sees so much hate and discredit for what she got and y’all call god yahweh, but yahweh want you to only see it his way instead of your way, make you think you live in his grace
demonize the real god and that mind was hereditary enough to be perpetuated till this day
how do you try to break the creator?
wul leap ah tanks yuh affi give she an yuh badmind god
*sucks teeth* suck yuh mada daag
all di mondem who love ooman raise yuh peace sign
cuh she worl dis, anymon who nuh love ooman mi put bullet inna di skin ah di bwoy
anymon weh a rape an beat ooman, wut dem do?
DEM DEAD
anymon weh a badmind ooman, wut dem do?
DEM DEAD
periodt.
i even see god walking the street; fearless, flexing fashion choices that compliment that melanin glow
all shades and unconditional love beneath it
that healing love that could extinguish guns from the hood so our population could finally thrive rather than dying in the forrest fires within our concrete jungles
that rational love that speaks to our mind, bringing balance within the energy
that understanding love in which influences our decisions, yes everyone has their own mind; yes everything is a choice, but you can’t be so left-brained
so structured in your constructs and complexes that you don’t feel free to express it until an empress is in your presence
and the nerve of man to be picky about pigments
when his breath smells like pig shit
ain’t that some bullshit ?
we could see god create life over this 9 month process
her physique expanding as it mimics the planet we reside in
and still not serve credibility, idk how.
i could never embody the strength and courage god has as she nourishes the seed we carelessly plant
why you think they call her Mother Earth?
because she builder on the foundation of life?
nah, they call her Mother Earth because she gives guidance and oversees life from here to everywhere overseas
they call her Mother Earth because she gives lessons as she grows no matter of the chemically imbalanced matter that is built on top of her
she breaks through in bushes and bundles of roses to not only mock man but to show her power
they call her Mother Earth because the scorn that burns within her center finally sheds her presence, promptly burning away the hate you give
they call her Mother Earth because she could take the breath away as soon as she gives it
yes, they call her Mother Earth
but personally i call her the block, how she squares away the ghetto youth
and make home outta those front steps, how she feeds the people with intentions of cultivation, bringing the black and yellow together without seeing police tape
i call her the city as her face brightens night skies in contrast with the stars
constellations within the lights connecting to show the love lost in poverty’s abyss
i call her the land as she and all her organisms grow, speaking the same language, same word i been repeatin’ but i’ma say it anyway “LOVE.”
in the many dialects but unites in spirit
allowing us to show that mystical communication within, that’s word to buju, how she was the single parent providing Medina whether it was a shack in the system with shackles on us or a mansion managed by accountants
taking account of how we live our lives
side note: notice how i didn’t say the shackles or the system was gone [ lol. ]
i call her the almighty, the everlasting, the smack upside the head when you ain’t askin’ so providing, sun rising .. black woman.
peace🕉.
- magnificent 💫.
