I hope you enjoy reading these reviews. I love sharing my eclectic reads in…

http://greekgodsparadise.com/2021/06/25/romance-books-set-in-greece/
We talked about books foreigners made set in Ancient Greece right? Cool..now get ready for...
Rom com books set in Greece 😅
And almost all of them are set in Corfu lol, which of course the island is amazing but i am suprised from the lack of Santorini and Mykonos how come xd (also the series are a copy paste it seems for a girl she makes a mistake and tries to escape on a holiday in Greece)
Literally I said "ooooh shit" (yes in English because US imperialism) when I clicked the link...
Most give me wasp girl vibes of "ooomg guuuurll everything is so exotic here, this is the greatest most revealing moment of my liiiiiife!" after seeing one white house on an island, in the least spiritual way possible.
I have some hopes for those written by Effrosyni Moschoudi (because her name is Greek and I hope she'll write accurately and without exoticizing the location), and "Moti on the Water" because it brings the Greek and the Indian element together and I'd like to see Greek culture from one Indian perspective! (I'll take off points if every Greek man there looks like a bronzed, muscled god cause that's the definition of exoticization 😂) I take off points for the cringy title of "How Greek is your Love" but I give them back because at least she knows about Mani 😂

Across the distance, the Acropolis museum cradled within its protective walls its legendary treasures, lulling them to a peaceful sleep under the eerie light from the heavens. Yet, through the large window, the five Caryatids stood alert on their strong platform. The ageless maidens with the long braided hair down their backs remained awake even at this hour gazing across to the Acropolis, full of nostalgia for their sacred home. Inside their marble chests, they nurtured as always, precious hope for the return of their long lost sister.
