High Five: Right, I guess that would be kinda weird what with the whole ‘exile’ thing…
Wolfgang: Look, kid, I’m getting arrested here. You mind getting to the point?
High Five: Oh, right, yes, I guess you would be in kind of a rush considering your circumstances. Uh, look, I just have this music studies 101 paper that’s due like, eugh, tomorrow and, as you can imagine, music’s not really my forte, I’m more into aeronautics and that’s beside the point- Look, your dossier on the cultural impact of rock is revolutionary and, honestly, if it wasn’t for the fact that you’re a wanted terrorist, you’d be one of the biggest faces in the field, so I was wondering if I could leverage you for some…. uncredited help?
Wolfgang: ….
High Five: …Please?
Wolfgang: (tearing up) ...You think my work is revolutionary?
High Five: Is that a yes? Cause I can see the Trap Masters coming with the paddy wagon.

SPRITE KNIGHT
"Fighting for what's sprite!"
Sprite Knight was only created recently, and while she may not know much about the world, she's always curious and ready to learn. She's also always ready to beat up some bad guys with her powerful claws and Arkeyan laser!

There exists a forgotten island in an unmemorable part of Skylands, where the ground is covered in the deactivated remains of countless Arkeyans. However, this island stopped being forgotten when a magical geyser erupted from it, which was quickly noticed by a gang of Drow thieves. With nobody around to defend it, the geyser was easily taken over by the thieves.
But the spirit of the geyser had a trick up its (metaphorical) sleeve. It created a being of pure magic and fashioned a set of armour out of the ruined Arkeyans. And so, Sprite Knight was born! She immediately fired up her laser and decimated the Drow thieves. She then left the lonely island, and it wasn't long before she found the Dual-Wielders and joined their ranks.
MALADY
"Feeling under the weather?"
Though he looks creepy, Malady is a true gentleman and an expert in the field of medicine. His impeccable politeness and extensive knowledge make him a skilled and trustworthy doctor. Don't let that fool you, though - Malady can just as easily use his medical knowledge to fight evil.

Ever since he was a hatchling, Malady had always been the odd one out. His small wings meant he couldn’t fly as well as his nestmates, and he couldn’t hunt as well as them either. While his siblings were doing flashy aerial tricks, Malady was in his village’s library or on the ground, learning everything he could about plants and medicine in both theory and practice.
Malady’s mastery of medicine came in handy whenever illness or injury struck the people of his village, but his reputation as a weird and spooky fellow meant that he lived at the edge of town, and the other villagers only came to him when his services were needed. Not that he minded that much – the peace and quiet was good for further study (well, maybe it did get a little bit lonely at times…).
One day, as Malady was gathering herbs, he found a creature he had never seen before lying unconscious in a clearing. He wasn’t exactly sure what it was, but it was obviously injured, so he took it back to his house and tended to its wounds as he would anyone else.
It turned out the creature was a spirit that had come from a geyser that had recently appeared nearby. It had gotten attacked by the hostile wildlife and received serious injuries. Eternally grateful to Malady for healing it, the geyser spirit made him a Dual-Wielder, giving him Undead and Air abilities.
GLASSILISK
"Shatter and scatter!"
Fierce, brave and maybe a bit reckless, Glassilisk puts his glass-based abilities to good use on the battlefield. There's only one thing this lizard loves more than the adrenaline rush of combat, and that's basking in the sun on a warm afternoon.

Shattershard Island is a beautiful tropical island with a massive volcano at its centre, populated by all kinds of critters made of living volcanic glass. It was a peaceful beachside paradise, which was fortunate for the fragile glass animals that called it home (since they were already prone to shattering even without any conflict).
This wouldn’t last, though, as one day a magical geyser erupted from the volcano’s crater instead of the usual lava. Immediately, this caught the attention of some filthy Trolls, who ruined the glittering beaches of Shattershard Island with their pollution-spewing machinery as they took over the geyser. The glass animals were too meek and fragile to fight back, afraid that they’d break in a single hit… all except for Glassilisk. He charged headlong into battle against the Trolls without a thought for his own safety. Seeing his bravery, the other glass animals found the courage to enter the fray themselves, and a huge battle began.
Once the smoke had cleared, the inhabitants of Shattershard Island could breathe a sigh of relief – they’d successfully fought off the Trolls. But in his recklessness, Glassilisk’s tail and one of his legs had broken off. Just as he had gotten a taste for battle, his career as a warrior seemed to be over.
It was then that the spirit of the geyser approached Glassilisk. It thanked him for his heroics, and gave him an offer: It would give him the power to use the Earth and Fire elements, which would not only make him a stronger fighter, but let him grow new glass limbs… If he went on a difficult journey to locate and protect the Giga-Geyser. Glassilisk accepted without hesitation, and became an official Dual-Wielder not long after.

Skylanders Review: Double Trouble
So um Yeah, we've covered 1/4 of the original thirty-two Skylanders, now we gotta' talk about Double Trouble.
[Image: Double Trouble is a um, "Shaman" character. His face is actually a tiki mask, with a rectangular shape that extends his forehead to a higher position. His mask has canine-like teeth surrounded by a rectangular, carved in lips, alongside a carved unibrow. There are also five additional quadrilateral markings above his unibrow that almost resemble SpongeBob's eyelashes. You can see his lime green eyes through the mask. There are several feathers decorating the sides of the mask, alongside a grass-skirt with a leather...fanny pack maybe? Its latch is tied around a cartoonish bone, and you cannot see any legs under his skirt so that's a cool detail I guess. Anything not covered up by his "traditional" garments reveals that he has blue skin, with humanoid features. He wields a staff topped with a crystal, with metallic fixtures surrounding it, and with more feathers decorating it.]
So um, remember the Witch Doctor and Shaman monsters from the OG Scooby-Doo series? Kids franchises really loved those wooden masks!
Okay these masks are really cool, and they are a great representation of cultures - especially with how humans all have the same idea of using artificial faces to intimidate others or put on performances.
But like, this is...not good right? I can't really say the devs who designed this guy deserve a 1000 years of misfortune for not being all that culturally sensitive, but look at him.
Better yet, look at the fact that most of his in-game dialogue is just different iterations of Ooga Booga. No seriously.
I am not comfortable with this, like his species is apparently "Tiki Man"??? I feel like if you want something Tiki inspired that has no connection to the culture actually connected to that imagery, you could at least make up a new name for it? Video Games are a half-visual media, so the connection would be easy to make through design alone. Here it feels kinda lazy just to call something "Tiki [Blank]", like calling the stars and stripes a "Flag pattern" in a world where America doesn't even exist.
The Tiki stuff is just aesthetics by the way, there is no other cultural influence because it's very clear he's mostly based on African Shaman stereotypes.
His backstory is basically the same as the Zebra from My Little Pony, and his name comes from the fact that he ate a special plant that gave him the ability to create clones with his already expert magic. The first positive I can give this character is that I enjoy him getting along with his clones despite the fact that they're all tiny bombs mechanically.
It gets even weirder because one of his beta figure designs is just a normal elf-eared wizard with no Tiki elements. Perhaps it was deemed too similar to Eon, but with a few redesigns it could've worked. Even taking Chompy Wizard into account.
Motto: "Boom Shock-a-locka!" I did not like writing this review. 1/5.
One. He gets one. The Bone Chompy of Death.
Did I mention that I will not do a full creature design review of the original Scooby-Doo! Where are You roster of monsters for reasons this review makes apparent.

Here are the Squealers Chief, Kins, and Dart from Brok the InvestiGator if they were in Skylanders. They are in the villain role. It is from my crossover midquel story "Skylanders featuring Crash and Spyro: Tough Brok"

Like Brok and Graff, the three are in a nude style get-up:
The Chief's element is Undead, referencing the fact in the Fall Ending of Brok the InvestiGator, he was beaten to death by Brok, also because he won't hesitate to kill anyone messing with his plan and his several henchmen. He's an expert at street fighting and has deadly skills.
Kins' element is Dark since he can be surprisingly clever at times, like stealing food in the room if you leave it for too long, perfect for a thief role and can fight with the bat.
And Dart's element is Air, where he can throw powerful punches which will blow his opponents into the air, even fighting like a wrestler.

After Graff witnessed Brok taking down the Squealers, the wave *Caused by Kaos' tampering with Quantum Arkeyan technology* that Aku Aku and the Quantum Masks deflected in their dimension got the two alongside Kins, Dart, and the Chief as well stranded in Skylands in two directions places in the desert area.
The three Squealers were wondering around the abandoned plantation wanting a way back home and take down Brok, and like Brok and Graff, were also caught in situations where their clothes were tattered, before meeting Kaos and Glumshanks, who took them back to Kaos' Kastle, given new attires that are a nude style, in which they have to go with it, even teaming up with the tyrant Dark Portal Master to hunt down the Quantum Spheres so Kaos would use them to conquer not just Skylands, but the entire universe, and all the other dimensions while promising these rats they'll get what they want, since they intend to "Fight to the end, to reclaim their due", like the Squealers' motto.
Throughout the adventure, Brok and his stepson Graff, alongside the Skylanders and their allies from outside Skylands and from Crash Bandicoot's dimension would occasionally fight the three rats that sided with Kaos, and at a few points the Rat Chief, Kins, and Dart would meet Nitros Oxide and Terro alongside Team Rogue. The Skylanders, despite hard challenges awaiting them will prevail getting the Spheres.
During the hunt for the final Quantum Sphere, Brok and Graff fight against these Squealers *Intending to steal the spheres for themselves* to buy Team Spyro and Team Bandicoot the time to stop Kaos from taking the sphere, after defeating the rats, the Chief was about to knock out Graff to make Brok flip out in an attempt to show his stepson his stepfather's true nature, the Golden Queen *accompanied by the Brain* interfered and turned the rats into golden statues, while the Brain used his Mind Magic to trap the golden Squealers in bubbles so they won't stop the heroes from reaching their goal.
After Brok and Graff defeated Kaos with the power of the Quantum Spheres, the two heroes learned from Aku Aku, the Quantum Masks, Master Eon, and the Brain in order to free all the dimensions including their own now that they gathered all the spheres, they have to sacrifice their memories of being in Crash and Spyro's dimensions, and since they wanted to go home so badly, they accepted this as they went through the rift that takes them back to after Graff witnessed Brok's battle against the rats. The Chief, Kins, and Dart instantly vanished and returned to their dimension too, but lack memories of being in Skylands as a result due to not being affected by the Quantum Spheres so their Skylands memories weren't present, unlike Graff and Brok.

Hirogaru Sky! Precure Episode 30 Review - Obligatory Beach Episode
It can’t be an anime without the obligatory beach episode! Fortunately, this beach episode isn’t all fanservice and it’s just kids having fun at the beach. It was a nice episode that fit the summer vibes.
Sora doesn’t know how to swim! Apparently, the only way she got by when she fell in Skylandian lakes was holding her breath and walking on the bottom. I’m surprised she hasn’t drowned; it’s also good that she’s not from this world because if any other Earthling tried this, well, they’d drown. I also like how she said she was too busy drowning to realize that the ocean was beautiful with a big smile plastered on her face. Wow, I think this is the first time I’ve seen an anime talk about drowning as if it’s an everyday occurrence for her. I can’t swim myself, but from stories that my friends told me about how they learned to swim, most of them said that their dads threw them into the pool to teach them how to swim; I feel like Sora was like this in a way. She was thrown into a situation where she fell into the ocean and now she had to swim for safety. I guess that method works for Sora.
I just think that seeing the Precures have fun in this episode was what made it fun. I like seeing them have fun. It’s nothing eventful but it’s nice seeing a fun episode. It’s also fun to see Sora being taught how to swim by the other Precures. Tsubasa turned how to swim from a bird friend on Skyland; Ageha’s too used to kiddie basics that she didn’t teach Sora how to swim; Mashiro is surprisingly a swimming expert despite not being very athletic. She was being all haughty ojou-sama with her hair flips as she mentioned being a level 8 in swimming.
I think the reason why this beach episode was given to us is to signify that summer is ending—this is the last episode of August—and that next week, the plot kicks in as it seems that Ellee has been kidnapped by the Underg Empire. Yeah, I understand why they decide to add this episode in. No more fun next week onwards. What are your thoughts of this episode and are you ready for plot to kick in next week?

Another few days later, Flynn and Cali were going out on a date, unfortunately since Cali’s parents didn’t allow her to go out on dates outside the castle, they had decided to go for a stroll in the castle gardens.
Flynn was at her bedroom door waiting for her to come out.
“I’m coming! Just give me a minute!” Cali said through the door, she walked out a few minutes later.
“Woah, you look…nice!” Flynn said, looking at her dress.
“Thank you, shall we go?” She asked.
“Yeah!” He replied as she wrapped her arm around his.
They walked to the gardens and eventually sat down on a bench somewhere.
“So…can I, y’know…put my arm around you?” Flynn asked.
“Hm, sure, go ahead!” Cali answered, Flynn quickly put his arm around her afterwards.
“I’m just making sure you’re safe…and warm!”
“Mmm, thanks!”
They sat there for a moment.
“So, where are you from?” Cali asked him.
“Well, I don’t really remember where I’m from, but I was raised by my parents, my dad was a knight too, but he eventually passed away and since then I became a knight, though it wasn’t really that pleasant, a lot of the guys I was stuck working with were jerks! Makes me glad I got fired!” Flynn said.
“What caused you to lose your job?”
“I had accidentally hit a civilian pretty bad whilst fighting off some guy! Don’t worry! They’re okay, They just ended up unconscious for a few hours”
“Hm, well that’s fascinating!”
They once again sat in silence for a minute.
“Cali, I actually have something I wanna give you!” Flynn said.
“Really?” Cali responded.
“Yeah…here you go!” Flynn said, offering her a rose.
“O-oh, thank you so much! I’m flattered!”
“I wanted to give you this because my mom is an expert when it comes to flower symbolisms, and she told me that red roses symbolises beauty, and love!”
“Yeah, I’ve known about that before!”
“I wanted to give you it because I think you’re really pretty! And I…really like you!”
“Awww! That’s so sweet!”
After about another twenty minutes, he decided to head off to bed.
Flynn pulled Cali in for a hug, and kissed her on the cheek.
“Goodnight!” He said, pulling away from her.
“Sweet dreams!” She replied.
Flynn headed off to bed, while Cali stood at the balcony, looking at the rose.

In the games:
Furyne actually doesn't have a family... At least, that's what they remember, but all has yet to be revealed. (probably in my skylander reboot game/comic series idea.)
Furyne is an expert in Knitting (more likely, Kneeding, not to mention make biscuits.). But they also design and make costumes and accessories! (In Trap Team they own a little store where you can buy the accessories they made!), Not to mention, Furyne in fact made Kaos' emperor attire you see in Superchargers.
Kaossandra just sees Furyne as a hench-cat who "Kaos has a soft spot for". Of course, Furyne may dislike her for how she's mean to Kaos, but they could never say no to snacks!!
In Academy:
Furyne actually has got a family in the Academy TV Series! They even mentioned a few members of their feline family clan in some episodes (their dad, mom and little baby kitty siblings)! (if season 4 existed, we'd probably finally get to meet them. but unfortunately it didnt happen)
Furyne's hobbies are still making clothes, but usually, they are busy giving themself a mani-purr (claw manicure), Spa days and even have some beauty cat-naps for a bit. But mostly, their hobbies is just staying with Kaos and also play with their yarnball
Kaossandra just thinks Furyne is Kaos' little feline friend and a complete pest. (Hence why she just calls them "cat" and "feline") In fact, Furyne HATES her guts for how she's treating Kaos. Not to mention one time they messed up the Castle's living room while having the zoomies.

Though the two elves haven't been seen interacting in any extra material so far, the official Ring of Heroes mentioned Hex and Stealth Elf could probably be the best of friends. Surprisingly, in the render where they hang out for the Day of Friends, Hex is seen smiling, something she almost never does.
