While I don’t feel like shit. I’m also not 100%. I’m in a limbo I would rather not press. So I feel not streaming today is best.

Dr. Mayhem, one of the bosses you can work under in Penny Larceny from @fictionfactorygames ! He was the first character I completed for the game and first foray into making VN sprites. Looking back now I'm like, dang, I went hard on those gloves. His expressions were a lot of fun, a guy who's passionate but also barely functioning on caffeine.

But it was a crisp, clear morning when your parents died, wasn't it?

Only saw this dude for like a minute on Mr. @fictionfactorygames' stream, but I still cobbled something together because I'm built different (read: hyperfixation).

Just looking at him already makes me think his voice is like coated with static when he speaks. Also gave me vibes of a radio host of some sort, especially with the first line he says. Can't wait to see more!

So I'm actually more excited for Baldur's Gate than I ever intended to be, partially because of the Displacer Beast thing I learned yesterday, partially because I also recently learned there's polyam romance options, and partially because earlier this year I picked up another RPG from the same studio and it's absloutely rad. Having said all that, I will be temporarily dropping it when Penny Larceny comes out on Monday, because @fictionfactorygames are fantastic. And everything about that game, from the characters to the artstyle to the whole base-level concept, look absolutely incredible to me.

This is what you wanted. You wanted Doctor Mayhem.

So another animatic, huh? Who keeps putting these ideas into my head so I can keep churning it out every year, what's up with that-

But anyway, I got real smitten with the game Penny Larceny: Gig Economy Supervillain from @fictionfactorygames (that was rec'd to me by a friend) and also by Isaac Marquez because I love that kind of complex character story. So of course I decided to toss all that into the drain and made him insane, because you cannot tell me that All Eyes on Me does not fit an insane Isaac. He deserves it as a treat.

If you haven't played the game, I highly recommend it before spoiling yourself on this! It's on discount right now as of posting this, so go get it! I loved the art and the plot and the way a visual novel works to play into the lore, it's SO COOL.

So that demo showcase of The Shadow Over Cyberspace that FictionFactoryGames did, huh. Totally didn't get super hyped for that by drawing like three pieces of fan art, not at all (sweats).
